Is my blood enough? How much more will you take? Well, I don’t feel like crying. I feel like screaming. I don’t feel angry. I just feel weary. I don’t want a reconciliation. I want a reevaluation. Am I too aggressive? Too violent? Too much? Does seeing me walk down the street Scare you that much? If I open my mouth, What words will you give me? Truth doesn’t matter, Just the skin God gives you. If I pray at your feet, Will you let me go free? Just me? Just me? Am I one of the good ones If I make myself small? Never an opinion, Always a nod. Waiting for crumbs As you eat the whole cake. Begging like a dog As you promise a change. It’s never enough. Never the time. Always something comes up. A new villain to fight. Saw that post about putting your OCs in AUs again and got to thinking about Calissa in Pillars. She'd be a fire godlike, and a priest of Magran (or maybe a paladin? though I can't remember if paladins must be in an order, or if they can just be religious), sent by Magran to the Dyrwood to Finish The Job. Not quite Waidwen level, but Magran could be jealous of the Waidwen thing and just really attach to this particular godlike. Pallegina would be her best friend, taking the role of Valerie - the one who stands by her decisions but still challenges them, and also the one who tempers her piety. Durance would be her cautionary tale, taking the role of the Hellknights, about the dangers of unchecked faith. And then there's the part about how she was supposed to be a dawn godlike but Magran somehow stole her, given the whole Eothas-Magran conflict...

On stage, this exact feeling is what I want everyone to see and what I want to convey.

So I read Reforged by Seth Haddon and then read the first Captive Prince from c.s.pacat right after.

I adored Reforged. I loved every second. I was so just satisfied, content. Bliss.

Captive Prince was tough, it's meant to be a tough read I think, I was gonna give up on it but the few scenes at the end that are more court intrigue focused I enjoyed so I may try the second book literally that last moment where it's oh shit he's wearing armor I was just lets fucking go okay I'll keep going

But man after reading both of these I have never felt more demisexual in my entire life lmfao
