Unpopular opinion but I find it super fucking odd how we got Luz’s mom realizing how she treated her daughter was wrong but no one talks about how other adults like the coven heads mistreated hunter. There’s like 0 mentions of this??? I genuinely wish hunter was apologized too on camera because compliance with abuse is what kills kids. It’s just has bad. I wish TOH touched on it a LITTLE. Maybe it was planned but Disney didn’t let her do it or maybe it was part of the hours of work cut out in the three hour premiere but I’m really upset we never got that. I just want kids to know that people in compliance with abuse and encouraging it are just has bad. It’s important to be aware of that because yes adults have a moral obligation to protect children if they can especially from that. And the fact that the coven heads not only didn’t try but ENJOYED it? Took part in it??? It’s fucking sickening. And yes this includes precious Renae because HOLY SHIT I get having a mission and I understand the moral choice they made doesn’t make it justified. Doesn’t make it okay. Just TOH adults have me literally so upset but fuck the coven heads.
#TOH#the owl house#discourse#critisism#toh discussion#abuse tw#hunter toh#hunter needs therapy#and A BETTER ADULT SUPPORT SYSTEM#please for the love of fuck#hunter noceda#I don’t know how else I can tag this but if you get upset at this don’t comment on it#just ignore it I think I’ve tagged it right so people with filters can avoid it#but that’s the one thing the show left out that I wish wasn’t#it’s literally the underlined catch about abuse compliance breeds abuse#just makes me sad because he doesn’t even know how they treated him was wrong

Therapist knows I'm a writer and one of her occasional suggestions is to write about stuff I'm trying to untangle, whether that's in the Shivadhverse or elsewhere. I was trying to do that earlier in the week without much success which is why I was like PLEASE I JUST WANT TO FINISH SOMETHING and ended up writing The Olive Harvest 2023. It's not about the stuff we were talking about but at least I wrote SOMETHING.
But I'm now working on the PowerPoint for this coming week and I did want to at least discuss the Struggle. So I think you all should know that what I'm doing today is screencapping your nice comments on The Olive Harvest, anonymizing them, and putting them into a slide like a tag cloud, as a way of demonstrating what writing does for my mental health.
Discourse around commenting on AO3 is always fast and furious but I want you all to know that if you aren't comfortable commenting I totally get it, but if you do comment you are materially contributing to the mental health of a middle aged cat dad in Chicago.

Public service reminder: I love y'all for your support in what I do here, but (a very gentle but) I want to make it clear that this isn't the way-
Names are censored for obv privacy reasons and I don't want to put any of my own readers on blast because I trust comments like these are made with good intention. I appreciate y'all for loving what I do here and putting it out there for others to read along, but I don't do it for this. As much as Rekindled is indeed a parody redraw of LO that's trying to "fix" a lot of the original comic's issues, at the end of the day it's still just a Tumblr project that I'm doing here for fun and I don't want to see it used as ammunition in the comments sections dedicated specifically to LO (for clarification, this was in the @webtoonofficial announcement post for LO winning its third Eisner).
Whether or not it's "better" than LO is subjective and irrelevant. I obviously can't pretend like I didn't have my own motivations to "fix" what I felt was broken, but the act of "fixing" was for those of us who saw it as broken, not for those who love LO as is.
I also can't reasonably ask anyone to keep their opinions about Rekindled to themselves, it's a piece of work that is publicly available and therefore that will put it under the lens of public opinion, but from me to you, this ain't the way. I host it on Tumblr and DH precisely to keep it out of the main view of the fans/stans, because this work isn't for them, it's for all of you who share my disappointment in the original series. I want to be able to run this space free of any extreme fandom discourse - this is also why you won't see me using general LO tags on Tumblr/IG - but the only way that can happen is if we all play nice and don't let the heat of the discourse get to us. Rest assured, I will always stand by my work and what I do here because I love it and have found my lost joy in what LO used to mean to me through it as well as a community of amazing writers and creators... but prevention is better than the cure and I don't want any of that heat getting thrown back my way through weaponizing of my work with or without my knowing in the first place.
Am I pissed about the comic's third win? Absolutely. And as much as I feel it isn't worth anyone's time or energy to get into bickering matches with the stans in these comment sections, those opinions regarding the comic pre-exist my participation in this fandom and would have, one way or another, hit that boiling point regardless (and it's been wild to watch that comment section go down, I can't lie lmao) But this is not the way. Rekindled is - to me, and hopefully to you, too - a reclaiming of the love and passion people like myself used to have for LO, and a celebration of Greek myth and transformative fiction as a genre, above everything else it stands for or could be interpreted as. It's not a weapon meant to be used in discourse. Let's please do our best to be mindful of that so we can keep having fun in this special little space we've carved for ourselves and not make ourselves into the monsters we're often made out to be just for critically discussing and transforming a piece of media that, in spite of all its flaws, brought us together in the way that it did. Let's keep being the best for each other instead of turning ourselves into the worst over others within this massive fandom who we were never going to agree with in the first place.
Thank you all, much love 💖 Do no harm, take no shit ✊️

Ive been noticing an increase amount of Dreamtwt refugees, and let me preface with saying: Welcome!!! Genuinely, we lovingly welcome you to this happy lil community.
That being said, Tumblr is confusing, between the big etiquette book and the interface that hasn’t changed since 2008 there is a lot to learn. So this is my little attempt to a welcome guide tailored to our lil dream community! Feel free to add your own recommendations and stuff.
Tumblr is a Blogging site, a goog ol relic from ye olden days, your ‘profile’ is your blog, and you can put anything you like on there! However, please do change your avatar and background, we have a massive bot issue here and we tend to auto block someone with a standard avatar.
The main tags for the dream team are as follows: - just their entire usernames, but, those do get hooped up in controversy from time to time. -Dreamblr for the content creator dream
-Dreblr, for C!Dream
-404blr for CC George
-pandasblr for CC Sapnap
-Dtblr for the Dream team
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING: #Dream, that’s for people actually posting about their dreams, and #myct as it is mostly used for general MYCT stuff, we prefer to stick to our own spaces.
‘how do I find people?’ you go to any of these tags, find someone you vibe with and click ‘follow’. The algorithm here sucks, and we don’t advice the ‘for you’ page.
On that note, the ‘like’ button is useless, use reblog instead! If you like someone’s hot take, art or stupid shit post, REBLOG. Its how we keep our fandom alive and active here :D
When you reblog you usually keep your comments in the tags, one only really uses the comment section when they DON’T want to reblog. (usually because of le discourse).
Send people asks! People love to chit chat, you can do it anonymously! Tell that one artist youd love to have their brain for lunch! Engage with everyone! We love discussion and open communication here. (prob since there is no real word limit to posts)
Tumblr has developed a nice ‘block liberally, no need to make a fus’ culture. You can block someone for any reason, and it really isn’t a big deal.
On the Tumblr is more relaxed note, we tend to be more relaxed on CC boundaries, since most CC’s do not use twitter. If you don’t like people breaking CC boundaries, even in places where they cant see it, follow the advice above and blockkkkk!!!
Please spell out words! Don’t censor triggering words at it can fuck with people’s filter settings, by censoring these words you put people in more risk.
Now for some technical advice: Most tumblrina’s turn on ‘hide likes and follower count’ . Any blog can have 4 people following it or 4000, we like to keep it mysterious.
Also turn of ‘best content first’- once again, the algorithm is not to be trusted.
Furthermore, you can really personalize your Tumblr experience and please do! Under ‘account’ you can find many options to filter the content you see, make use of it, for your mental health sake.

More clarification on Dybowski's position within Ice Pick Lodge today from IPL ex-employee Luchin, after yesterday's comments.
Sorry for posting so much in the patho tag, but unfortunately it's what's best for visibility. I have, and will be, using the "Dybowski Allegations" tag for any post on this, so please block that tag if you don't want to see it.
Since my post yesterday on Alexey Luchin's comments/allegations against Dybowski, he has given Reddit some updates and clarifications. I'll summarise the Reddit thread, but quote Luchin in full for transparency.
The thread is on the topic of Dybowski's current involvement with IPL/Pathologic 3. Commenters stated that he has sold the company, and hasn't been very involved with the games since The Void (2008). Whether this is a valid interpretation of Luchin's earlier statements was discussed, and the fact that he's been a main P2 writer and involved with a lot of promo stuff over the years was brought up. Luchin, after being pinged, showed up to clarify:
Russian companies often use a "fake owner" for various reasons, this is the case here. Motivations may be to avoid alimony, to ease money transfers between the main company part in Kazakhstan and the original main company and it's Cyprus subordinary. It is not illegal, and even not a loophole, though. I wouldn't dwell on that much. It's important what people work in the studio factually.
and,
Yep, I'd say it's up to the currently employed to shed light reliably. But in general around after the Void he was more of an broad ideas guy — and a good one, it wasn't my intent to downplay him in that regard. At the same time, game development is a multistage process, and from my personal knowledge, I can attribute a lot of the new games qualities to "fresh blood", and the other co-founders acting more professional. E.g. Alphyna has covered a decent chunk of actual writing on Pathologic 2 and had a pivotal role in maintaining the timeline of events of the game, charater motivations, etc together. Ivan Slovtsov carried the detailed game design and balancing with his team — which gave him a good position in tinyBuild after, etc. IPL is to some extent an autere game company, with the source and numerous modifications coming from Nikolay, but in my time his input was irregural, disrupting, and in my personal opinion wasn't often for the good of the game. At the same time, the fresh blood in the studio grew on the principles on which the studio was founded and successfully carries its legacy already. This is an opinion, though, still. Personally, I'll still play Pathologic 3, it's great, from what I know / have seen. And all my posts here are done with a heavy heart — it's not easy to be dissapointed in a talanted figure such as Dybowsky myself.
So, based on this (keep in mind Luchin himself has stated to have no contact with Dybowski himself since 2018, although it feels fair to assume he'd still be in contact with other former coworkers) the exact role of Dybowski in the creation of these games seems a little unclear. But I also don't think anyone's been debating whether he's been involved up until p3, as much as how deeply involved he is in p3.
Ultimately, it's up to everyone to decide for themselves where they stand in terms of opinion on p3, buying the game, sticking around in the fandom, supporting the studio, et cetera., but that's the new info.
To just give my own personal two cents: I am still in the position I was yesterday, which is that I believe IPL has to make a statement on all of this, and cut ties with Dybowski, before I'll be completely comfortable giving them money. However, I do also want to acknowledge the fact that this is not a black and white situation, and that the discourse surrounding this does warrant some level of nuance. I'm, of course, speaking in relation to the other people working at IPL.
It's incredibly easy to say both, "Dybowski is not his team; they should never be punished for his actions," and "they may have helped cover for him for twenty years; they should be held responsible." Silence is, to a degree, complicity, and if Luchin is to be believed not just in his "open secret" statement but also here, in reference to the student grooming allegations:
That's the Nema-Soda episode around the same time previous accusations surfaced. Well known in the Russian segment of the internet.
That's bad. If this truly has been this out in the open and known, that's really fucking bad, and I want this company - at least its management - to be held responsible for their potential silence and complicity in this.
But, at risk of sounding like I'm excusing any of this, I do also want to remind you that according to Luchin, as well as earlier testimonies including Renata's, this is also a person who is apparently incredibly vindictive. He is also pretty rich by Russian standards, and has held some level of influence in academia and the Russian game dev community for many years. I don't know exactly how his vindictiveness would take its form, especially not against employees, but I've been in toxic workplaces before - it can be scary, downright terrifying, to go after or even up against someone like this. No matter how shitty they are, especially if you're not in a country with good whistleblower laws (and just, in general, a system which will take the original allegations seriously, which... I'm not Russian, but I'm allowing myself some possibly problematic doubt that you'd be able to comfortably know that. I come from a significantly more progressive country, and I would absolutely not take it for certain) it can be incredibly difficult to stand up for what's right and take that risk to your livelihood, safety, and future job prospects. Especially in a job market so (relatively) niche as Russian game development. I'm also pretty damn sure there's not a union, or anything like it, to back you up if you get inofficially retaliated against.
Human being end up in abusive situations and find themselves, for one reason or another, not doing anything about it all the time. SA victims don't always report their perpetrator. Fraud victims don't always come forward. People subjected to wage theft don't always call their union reps. And others, those who witness it, don't always do it either. Sometimes because it's not their place, sometimes because they don't care, and sometimes because they're afraid. I don't think it's fair to assume everyone is in the second category, just as how I wouldn't think it's fair to assume everyone is in any of the others - it'd be absurd to assume every IPL worker doesn't want to out someone else's victimhood, which is why they haven't said anything publicly, for example. However, not reporting is an incredibly common blame to put on a victim or witness, because it's assumed that by not reporting it, they're essentially enabling the perpetrator to do it again. And I personally just don't think that's just - not without knowing what else weighed into a person's decision not to speak up.
I'm not saying this absolves all of IPL. I especially don't think it absolves the people at the top with Dybowski, who would have been more protected than the bottom-line workers. I simply am asking for some honest-to-god nuance. Personally, I'm still not happy to give IPL any money - not until I know Dybowski is not getting any of it, and measures have been taken to protect their other employees. But I'm also not interested in broad brushing an entire company of twenty years as evil, because the employees haven't made (english) publically available attempts at getting this guy out. We know, by his own accord, Luchin didn't - we know nothing of the others. A conversation with a manager that went badly is not likely to become public knowledge. People lamenting their powerlessness to stop someone to their colleagues or friends won't reach us. Someone quietly resigning because they can't do this anymore, but not being willing to put themselves on the line, is not a detail we're going to have.
I'm happy the silence has, hopefully irrevocably and undeniably, been broken. I'm hoping some people, Dybowski in particular, will face justice, or at least consequences. I hope Renata and her son, as well as Dybowski's other children, are safe and happy. I hope that IPL will do something, and move forward as a better company.
I want them to make a statement about this. That's non-negiotiable, for me, personally. I also want to see a change, and a better company with a better work culture going forward, making games and nurturing a community safely away from all this shit.
However, I accept the grim possibility that this will never happen, and am trying to decide on what that means for me personally moving forward with the fandom. I don't have any moral qualms about piracy, that's not what this is about. And that's the wider conversation I think I personally will need more, moving forward, in regards to my relationship with Pathologic.
That's my two cents.

So , now that the event has officially come to an end I think I would like to say my 2 cents on the troll account that popped in the middle of an event . Irrespective of which fandom or side this person belongs to one thing that is accurate is that it's an abomination that shouldn't have been born at all. I am a 100% sure its someone everyone hates in their real life too.
TW : INSENSITIVE SA DISCOURSE POINTED OUT
Now, is it fair to blame the entire group of Elriels for that troll? No , but what is shitty is Elriels pretending an Elriel has "never" done anything like that.... That's inaccurate...
Below is an example from a verified Elriel account saying exactly the same sort of shit .... since some of you want to pretend it's not an elriel thing
There you go a verified Elriel who has been around for a while ... and consistent discourse in SA insensitivity. .. So its reasonable for people to assume the troll account is an Elriel... stop pretending to be Victims. I have a few more examples from other accounts that are verified Elriel too
One of Elriels lead Commissioners on Gwyn ... So this BS that Elriels have never made hate posts or insensitive posts about Gwyn is farthest from the truth. No one is buying it .
2. This troll account popped up in the middle of an event, an event that was going exceptionally well and was getting the recognition and reach it deserved , why would one of our own cause Drama to disrupt that ?
3. The trolls brain , the quality of that brain is unbelievable.... its unfortunately questionable ... How ?
Elriels: They are trying to pretend to be Elriel so they can make us look bad....
Troll : while completely engaging in anti gwyn and Gwynriel discourse ... Littering all over an event page by leaving disgusting comments on the content.... tagging all their posts Elriel
I mean the quality of that brain, if this was someone who created that account to make Elriels look bad why on earth would they say they "aren't" Elriel 😅😅😅😅😅
This is the sort of brain that comes up with bread and roses so please don't blame us for assuming this asshole is an Elriel.
Now , do I care which side that asshole belongs to ? Not really , anyone who has been here a while knows shitty people in this fandom are rampant irrespective of the side .
Sexual Abuse is not limited to females so when someone writes terrible things about SA survivors it's not gender based hate speech , Male assault is just as real and relevant too.. its an insult to SA Survivors as a whole ... I don't give a fuck about people's personal opinions about fictional characters but when you specifically write posts that are insensitive towards what is a very real issue in today's world you should stand up against it irrespective of the group .
I am specifically not tagging Elriel in this post because I have no interest in interacting with any of them . This is for my side , my people for Gwyn stans ... for Gwynriel stans .... so I am specifically asking Elriels to stay away from my blog and posts.
I am going to be inactive on this account for a few weeks , I am truly burnt out with the fandom and some of the things I have read about survivors in the recent few days has unfortunately triggered me a lot. Based on my discussion with my friends and my husband I do feel the best course of action for me would be to take a brief break ... I will be back for Elucien Week 🤗

I clicked on my christmas discourse tag and found the following post, which I'd responded to at the time. I no longer like my old response, but cannot reblog it again as I was blocked like OP promised, so instead I'll respond here. I did not waterboard the post as my intention isn't ridicule, so I've dunked it in some green elixir instead.
I think OP is missing several things.
Firstly, their premise is... bad. It completely elides the power dynamics in a Christianormative society between Christians/cultural Christians and members of minority religions.
Secondly, people being pressured or shamed for not celebrating Christmas (whether that's snide comments and disrespect, or expectations of performing Christmas at work, eg in retail), is a real thing, whereas "non-Christians being shamed for celebrating" is... not (unless OP is speaking in an intracommunal Jewish context, but I assume they are not). So we're starting out with a strawman out the gate.
Thirdly, I think it really misunderstands posts like this, whose thesis is not "people who celebrate Christmas in a secular manner are wrong and bad" but rather "please stop using 'Christmas is secular' as a means to erase its origins and pressure us about it."
And also "there is a core of this that is Christian that does not need to be an issue for secular celebrators, but is an issue for many Jews."
I understand that a lot of people are challenged by that second implication so I will attempt to frame it a little more. I am not saying that a person who celebrates only the cultural aspects of Christmas is engaging in theological activities without their own knowledge. What I am saying is that Christianity comes with a set of connotations and associations for many Jews, namely our history of persecution by Christians, as well as some deep theological incompatibilities, and from the perspective of many Jews, Christmas is not really separable from this relationship, and we don't have any particular motive to separate it.
It is not that I am attempting to assign a religious identity to every person who puts up a Christmas tree; rather, that the discussion among Jews about whether to celebrate Christmas occurs in relationship to our history not only with Christianity but with our value of keeping our culture going by not assimilating. For various reasons, Christmas specifically has become an avatar in this that other holidays like Halloween largely have not.
In light of the Christian history of violent attempts to convert us (and many other peoples across the globe), and centuries of violent and oppressive treatment as punishment for our refusal to become Christian, putting any kind of pressure on us to participate in Christian celebrations come off very badly.
Which means that the fourth thing that OP missed was that "it's bad when it gets forced on people" was not an afterthought or "bad-faith response" but rather the entire thesis of the posts they're upset about. The entire point.
So to recap: No one is trying to say that people who celebrate only the non-religious aspects of Christmas are wrong, or bad, or don't exist. If this is the takeaway it is a failure of communication. There are many secular Jews who celebrate Jewish holidays in ways that align with their secularism, so this isn't a foreign concept to us.
More under the cut:
As well, there are Jews who celebrate Christmas, but the majority of them do so because they were raised in, or are currently part of, multi-cultural homes where another family member has brought Christmas to the home -- rather than because Christmas is universal.
Now, OP did not explicitly say they are equating Christmas being secular with Christmas being universal, but they implied it in their last line. This, actually, is the main issue with their post. Because whether or not Christmas is secular actually seems to be a red herring, the question at hand is whether it's universal. They are implying that maybe it is, if 80% of the non-Christian world celebrates it. The idea here is to eschew the claim that Christmas is associated with any particular culture; no, it's not a Christian holiday, it's a humanity holiday! It's for everyone! Stop being a Grinch.
And this is why the project to separate it from Christianity becomes relevant again: It's no longer fashionable to say that everyone should be Christian, so let's instead put that idea in sheep's clothing and substitute Christmas instead. It's the same thing, but now it looks innocent.
And, wait a minute, is it even true that 80% of the non-Christian world celebrates Christmas?
I clicked through the link OP provided, and found that, first of all, it only applies to the US.
And, second of all, the number for Jews is only 32%.
I clicked through to the source on that, and it's the classic: Pew's 2013 "Portrait of Jewish Americans." I found the relevant data:
And noticed a pretty big discrepancy between those in intermarriages and those not. It turns out, only 7% of Jews who are married to other Jews have a Christmas tree in their home. Let's be clear: This post is not a judgment in any direction on the choices of who to marry or whether to put a tree in your house. Rather: I am attempting to complicate "80% of non-Christians celebrate Christmas" with the data that only 7% of households with two Jewish spouses are doing so. Which... implies that American Jews, on the whole, do not see Christmas as universal.
And what about that 29% of unmarried Jews?
Well...
25% of Jewish American adults have a non-Jewish parent. We don't know what percentage of them grew up with a Christmas tree in the house but our closest approximation is the data about Jews with non-Jewish spouses (even though both sets of data are from 2013 so we're talking about different generations), so let's assume it was 71%. That would mean 18% of Jewish adults grew up with a non-Jewish parent and a Christmas tree in the house. Which accounts for the majority of that 29%. Of the remaining 11%, we can imagine that some proportion of them are living with non-Jews in a context other than marriage (eg in a relationship and living together, roommates, etc).
What we can conclude is this: Most Jews who celebrate Christmas do so with a non-Jewish family member. Thus, I believe that the opinion that Christmas is universal is one that is not held by the vast majority of Jews. Which means the OP's 80% statistic does not serve to prove its universality.
It is of course possible that I am reading in a connection between secular and universal that OP genuinely didn't intend, and their 80% statistic is truly only about showing that the cultural aspects are adoptable by non-Christians. If so, that is better, but I still don't think the statistic is doing what they think it is. Different religious groups have different considerations as well as different relationships with Christianity, and may not see engagement with Christianity as theologically and historically problematic the way many Jews do. That is to say: it doesn't mean Christmas isn't Christian.

Can I submit something to defend your blurbo because I have some questions for the Trigun Fandom?
Why do you guys go crazy over Wolfwood? To me, he seems like a generic anime guy, but the amount of comments, tags, and memes I have seen about his “Catholic titties” is astounding, and I am confused and a little worried about you guys. Why is the Catholic part so vital that it has to be emphasized every time? No one can ever just comment about his titties. It has to be his Catholic titties every time. Again, I'm just curious. Trigun is a smaller fandom than others, but Wolfwood is sweeping in polls against much larger fandoms. So I would just like answers on why you guys go absolutely delulu over a character that I perceive as average in Hot Factor.
So, Trigun Fandom, defend your blurbo because I want answers
Defend Your Blurbo #2
Please remember this post is about curiosity and genuine fandom discourse. Be kind with your answers because this is not a debate essay, this is a discussion between fans.
Trigun has had two anime adaptations and the manga. So, I added photos of all three versions of Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun. Check the alt text if you don't know which version is which.
So, Trigun Fandom Defend Your Blurbo

i am pretty big in profic spaces but i cant go into the tags now without heavy filtering because of all this pro para things.
i understand that simply being a pedophile isnt harmful in itself, its being a predator that is harmful,
yet i come to proship for fiction and propara is not that.
Its talking about real life attraction, often to beings that cannot consent. I hope you understand that arguements like that.
Ive also seen far too many pro-c, and blogs where its apparently real minors solicting real adults (Reporting them gets them taken down thankfully), that it needs to be talked about besides "not everyone is like that."
Even with anti-c, you shouldn't even need to SAY that you are anti c because it should be ASSUMED yet I guess because the amount of pro c, it cant be.
I hope you can see how antic can be used as a lie for predators to gain trust also. Its like 101 not to trust people on the internet yknow
I hope this is understandable and reasonable, not looking for a fight just a chat
This is probably gonna be a bit jumbled but I'm gonna try and respond as coherently as I can. Also I say this at the end but anyone who has been in the proship space on Tumblr for a while please do give your own answers if possible too. I've only had this account for a few months so I haven't seen too much drama go down. There is a kind of tldr at the end of this
So 1. Your first point about not being able to go to these tags without filtering. You do have to curate your own experience at the end of the day. It's how the internet works. People will post things in places and you just have to learn to block and move on. I've been triggered a few times scrolling and have had to quickly block. But that's just how it is. It sucks sometimes but people will post what they want where they want
2. Profiction + proship are inherently discourse tags. You will find discourse everywhere as that is their main purpose anymore. And since a lot of paras use fiction to cope with their disorders, it's bound to come up in a discourse-centric tag. And thoughtcrimes aren't real. What someone says they think about doesn't matter as long as they don't act on it. As long as posts are tagged properly for discussion, at that point you just need to block the appropriate tags. Shame on anyone you find not tagging things right, but most tend to as far as I've seen at least
3. I've personally not seen many pro-c in the proship tag. Maybe one or two I've seen. Either way, I have seen many callouts about people who call themselves proship who then have become predators more than I've ever seen anyone say they're pro-c in the tags. So if those callouts aren't enough, then please say what more there is to do to expose these people. And of course we say we're not all like that because antis love to use one bad person as a gotcha moment, it's not about just putting it there performatively.
And also I do want to know what tag you are finding these on mostly since I've never seen much. I mean, I only browse the proship tag so I may be missing some in other tags. To anyone seeing this do comment/reblog the places you've seen pro-c accounts in tags because I am curious where they're at. I know those accs exist but where? Am I just really blind? I do miss tags sometimes
4. I think most uses of anti-contact boil down to most people assuming para = predator more than pro-c accounts being everywhere. That's just how I've mostly seen it. That's why I put it there anyway.
If i missed any point I apologize. I think I gor most of them?
[TLDR-esc section]
So a summary, it's normal if these discussions are uncomfortable, but you can't censor people from talking about it in spaces where they are put into a tough place most times. Afterall, proship = anti-censorship. Blocking tags for your own mental wellbeing is very good and I highly recommend it.
If you think the callouts people make when they do find predators in these places aren't enough or don't happen as much as they should, then what can be changed?
I hope this is coherent and as unargumentive as I could get it (just got off a 10 hr shift). Anyone else feel free to respond as well. I'm not that old in this community so I don't have as much experience as some of yall do for some of these things so insight is appreciated

‧ ˚. BEFORE YOU FOLLOW
minors do not follow — this is an 18+ blog with explicit content. I don’t have time to check every blog that follows me nor police anyone.
this is a not spoiler free blog — I tag under jjk spoilers and jjk leaks — so block at your discretion
this blog is dark content friendly and aged up characters friendly -- if you don't like that, don't follow / block me -- both are put in warnings so if you don't like it - don't read or block me (send hate in any form and you will be blocked).
i post a lot of things, including asks (under sab [asks]) — not just about jjk, but sometimes about outside interests and my life — mostly under sab speaks — but I sometimes discuss fic stuff under there as well.
any hate towards me, any person, group, religion, race, sexuality, etc will not be tolerated and you will be blocked.
if you’re a mutual and you wanna break our mutual, no offense taken, but please block me so I don’t keep following you unknowingly.
‧ ˚. BEFORE YOU TALK TO ME:
please be nice - to me, but also every respectful person on this blog. this is a positive space - i try to give people the benefit of the doubt (except obv blatant hate / harassment)
don't come into my askbox starting discourse / hating (like a ship) - it's okay to express an opinion (ex. "i don't like [insert ship / thing] for x, y, z] , but with respect, not disgust / hate.
don't ask me to be mutuals - i rather develop an organic relationship, so feel free to chat through asks / reblogs / comments / messages and we can become friends that way!
please come chat in my askbox! - open to talking about ideas, fics, your day, really anything honestly (but also i'm not a therapist so pls don't treat me as such - i'm willing to listen but only to a point!)
i reply infrequently sometimes T_T - i'm busy and going through a lot personally (i honestly reply infrequently to my irl friends so don't take it personally!! i want to reply, just the goblins in my head make it hard :(

i don't specify any traits for reader when it comes to appearance - no exceptions (unless its for a specific fic i want to write)
don't use my concepts, don't plagiarize, don't repost / translate my fics here or on any other platform or use my headers i made
‧ ˚. thank you for reading - i appreciate you taking the time :). feel free to chat with me! i welcome all to my askbox and i want to thank you all for being here and regardless of if you follow or not, i hope you have the best day!

Here's the link to send in a confession!
Before you do though, I want to establish some rules for the blog.
1. PLEASE do not send in NSFW confessions. This may be a disappointing rule but I want anyone to be able to view this account, and there are minors in the fandom. Any NSFW confessions sent in won't be posted.
2. Please respect the opinions of others even if you disagree with someone. I don't want discourse if someone likes a character or ship that others don't, or if someone dislikes a popular character or ship. Be kind and respectful to others, I will try to edit this post and add a list of tags in case anyone wants to filter out some ^^
3. Please don't send in confessions regarding specific people and their opinions. This is a blog for your thoughts on the game itself, whether that be the story, characters, ships, etc. If you have disagreements with someone, either put that in the comments/reblogs, or ignore/block the person. I welcome all discussion and opinions on this blog so I don't mind if there's disagreements! Just remember to keep it respectful and not be rude to the person you are disagreeing with ^^
That's it for the rules!
#tokyo debunker confessions - All of my confession posts
#not tkdb confessions - Any posts that are not confessions
Tag list to block if you want:
- #tokyo debunker spoilers / #tkdb spoilers
- Any specific character tag if you're uncomfortable with them
TW tags to block ahead of time if you are uncomfortable with these topics:
- #tw incest
- #tw age gap
If you want a tag added to a specific post so you can easily block it if you're uncomfortable with said post, please message me and let me know!
#tokyo debunker#tkdb#tokyo debunker confessions#Feel free to send in anything! As long as it doesn't break either rule ofc ^^

I read the comments in this post and want to ask a question. Please feel free to ignore if you feel it's offensive. I can understand when queer couple with a certain mindset hate all these questions about top/bottom and all but I've met many queer couple (only asia side and only men) who themselves engage in this top/bottom thing. One of my colleague was very adamant about searching a bottom for him when we went to gay bar (I'm straight btw that's why want to understand). Not only this, a few Korean gay couple were very clear which side they prefer. My curiosity to understand is why would some of the comments implying it's nasty to talk about top/bottom approach when other queer people wants to accept and engage in it. Isn't that what is again queer community? To judge other people's mindset is wrong, no?
Personally I also read a/b/o trope but only of fictional characters. I've never asked any queer person if they are top or bottom or any other tags because I feel that's none of my business.
I don't think this is offensive to ask. It's the only way we learn, right?
So... You kind of answered your own question a bit, I think! Queer couples who want to disclose and people seeking the appropriate sexual partner for their proclivity is their decision. It's not dirty or wrong to have those preferences or to talk about them.
It's not just men either. I have very few straight friends. All my lesbian or AFAB friends who only sleep with women talk about it freely too.
There is zero judgement from me on people who are open to talking about it and I defend our right to discuss sex in the same manner hetero people do.
On the other side...
I think prescribing top/bottom to a couple who have in no way invited you into their bedroom is a huge no. Because the only thing you can possibly be basing it on is physicality, non-sexual behaviour, how they dress, etc.
Jungkook particularly is a victim of a LOT of gross misrepresentation because he has muscles and boxes. Remember we're about a month shy of an article that dehumanised him into "rough male pheromones". The top/bottom discourse is usually used in a reductive way in this case. Often used as a weapon against people who ship a certain way, definitely used to bodyshame Tae.
It's used to keep people in a convenient set of boxes, insult people who think otherwise, body shame and fetishize. It wilfully disregards the ethos Jungkook puts into the world in favour of making him into a fanfic top fantasy.
So my objection is not about the use of top/bottom, Dom/sub, alpha/omega in general.
It's about how it's never used thoughtfully or carefully by a certain subset. Their fetish and their fantasy comes first before any thoughtful consideration to the stereotypes rampant in queer media, queer community and queer representation.
And those reductive stereotypes hold us down.
Does that make sense? Top and bottom talk is fine if the people have opted to talk about it. Prescribing sexual positioning based on looks and personality is absolutely not fine.

genuinely very sorry if this is unwelcome discourse but i was just thinking about the discussions about secret life and wild life feeling so vastly different from the other series (due to the gimmicks and all) and how much of the fanbase has expressed discontent with it and it all makes me wonder what kind of decisionmaking happened in the planning and the background — i say this specifically bc it’s all been making me wonder if the shift to more ~gimmicks instead of player interacrions as a means to move the “plot” forward was something that was a strategy consciously and actively decided on? like it makes me wonder if grian/the other ccs/whoever were feeling like it was getting harder to maintain viewer momentum in a medium like the life series because of knowing just how much of an emphasis the audience places on mundane words and conversation if that makes sense. even if /we/ know the fandom would never get tired of overanalyzing that stuff. like i wonder if the shift to gimmicks was intended to provide a crutch of sorts to give the ccs more of something to work with to make content, instead of consistently feeling like they’re trying to squeeze interesting and dramatic content out of being on a minecraft server with their friends, which i feel like could be an understandable worry after so many seasons of the same? does any of this make sense im mostly just pondering aloud, do you have any thoughts? obviously everything in the world can be infinitely nuanced and i don’t necessarily agree w the logic if that is the case but idkkkkk i hope the ccs are truly just having fun with their friends if nothing else
not unwelcome at all, and i agree with a lot of what you've said but i do think you're falling into the same trap a lot of people discussing this series do, which is that you have put the focus entirely on the fandom space you (and i) engage with, when in actual fact, that's only a small section of the people the ccs are trying to please. the gimmickification of recent seasons could be in part a response to fandom's interpretation of events (because we know some CCs feels the need to deal with this- see sos amp's "lore ban" and the resulting backlash) but i think it's far more likely an attempt at dealing with youtube's push for content-heavy videos.
this also sort of ties into the idea of "so much of the fanbase" disliking yesterday's session, which i'm guilty of falling into the trap of too, as i said my dash was very divided. but any one of our dashes isn't a great indicator of what the majority are feeling, just like hate posts on reddit or children misunderstanding roleplay in youtube comments aren't. i follow around 700 accounts on here- say even half of those are life series fans, and a further half of that expressed discontent with wild life. that's around 200 people. if you look at the most popular posts in the tag and the amount of followers some tags have, there's about 10k people on tumblr who are fans of the series (likely more, but that's the best i can estimate). the subreddit has 30k+ members. grian's first episode this season got two million views. the criticism coming from some parts of the fandom here is definitely worthwhile and much of it is well founded but that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be reflective of the vast majority of watchers- and again, many of these watchers don't actually care that much about story, roleplay, or game "fairness", and will just be watching casually as entertainment.

◜Endo Syscourse Pt.1◝
When you hear/read the word "syscourse" what's your first thought? Probably is gonna be endo or the endo fight, isn't it? The endo stances (Pro/Neu/Anti)... Probably is also gonna be the only thing you think of when hearing/reading the word
A big problem the syscourse community has is the modification of the term "syscourse" for their own thing, and that's stupid, isn't more easy to just add one word more? Like I did in the title?
For those who are unaware syscourse is the mix between system and discourse meaning syscourse is a term for all the discussions related to systems and the system/CDD community... But we have a problem here
ALL THE SYSCOURSE TAG AND POSTS ARE FILLED WITH ENDO SYSCOURSE
I get it, the endo discussion is part of the syscourse topic, is one of the many discussion topics that can be brought in syscourse, I'm not against it, I think is ok for someone to do endo syscourse if they want to... But they had to modify and change everything about it?... Really?
Syscourse isn't just endo discussion, it's a lot of things to discuss, did you know that? Did you know that a term that mixes discussion and system is for all the system discussions that can appear?
When I search in the #syscourse tag the only posts that I found are related to endo syscourse, I passed minutes trying to scroll down the tag hopping to find some posts non endo syscourse related but from another syscourse topic
I'm not against endo syscourse, but can we please stop saying the endo syscourse is the only syscourse in existence? I want to discuss system topics but I have no way of finding it out because of the tag... And when I found syscourse topics they're not tagged as syscourse, when I try to tell the OP that the topic they brought out a syscourse topic they usually get mad or deny the fact because the post "Is not about endos"...
That's how much damage this whole endo fight has become, it's not only eating the community (The topic of my next post so stay tune) but is also keeping people away from the real meaning of terms they normally use just for a fight
I need people to understand, I need the three communities (System, CDD and syscourse) that syscourse isn't just endo fight, is a very complex category for a lot of discussions that can be happening within the CDD community
You don't have to stop doing endo syscourse, but please do not claim endo syscourse is the only type of syscourse that it exists. It might help people to expand their tags to "endo syscourse" to not fill out the general syscourse tag with endo syscourse because it's really hard to almost impossible to find another syscourse topic that isn't endo
What do you think about this? Anything you'd like to my post? Please go ahead and share your opinions and thoughts about this! /nf
If you don't have an idea of what syscourse might be outside the endo syscourse here's a list of some syscourse topics that I can remember and name:
Cultural appropriation and closed names
Integration: Is the final fusion the only healthy goal? Is functional multiplicity bad/anti-recovery? (There's more but, you get my idea)
Introjects attachment to their sources (The amount of sub-topics and discussion can begin from this is... A lot)
Relationships in-sys (Any kind of relationship)
Trans alters
I'm sure there are more syscourse topics, but I can't name them all, you can add more in reblogs/comments if you like

Taking a break from retirement. I don't follow this blog (because the posts here can get a bit too intense sometimes), but when I get bored and miss StarKid (or check if my anon posts got published or reacted to), I do read the posts here. Here’s what I think about the current posts I’ve read.
Why do people who apparently dislike or hate Robert Manion still talk about him, even though the events happened a few years ago? Please ask yourselves this. Sure, he committed his wrongdoings back in 2020 and/or 2021, but is three years not enough to stop talking about it? People generally know his actions were bad. Even those who don't know him or know nothing about SK understand that harassing someone romantically and sexually online and saying insensitive or uninformed things is wrong. (If I miss something or I'm being vague about it, it’s because I avoid that Robert topic and vaguely remember what he actually said online. I don't care to read about them again because I know what's right and what's wrong.)
I don't even hate Robert, probably because I left the fandom when he joined. When I came back, he was no longer a part of SK.
To those who are new, please read Robert's fandom wiki page and look up information online about why he left and the controversies surrounding him in SK’s past. There’s no need to add to the discourse about someone whom StarKid carefully mentions online because of what happened—trust me, there’s already more than enough awareness about it online.
I remember they did not even tag Robert in their IG post about the Twisted anniversary, but they did post his character's photo. Joey briefly mentioned him while talking about TGWDLM or BF during the CC Kickstarter livestreams.
Note, expressing that you miss or wish Robert had stayed because you enjoyed his performances will likely attract replies about what he did, and they often repeat the same things. It’s probably best to avoid this.
He was a good and funny performer, then he made some mistakes, and he left SK.
And yes, Robert still talks and works with Jon Matteson and maybe a few other SK members. They probably made amends. Deal with it. It's their lives and friendships.
P.S. I block Robert Manion tags here on Tumblr, but I’m still curious why he is still discussed by fans as a person and what he did, rather than just as a performer. I can understand fans talking about his past creative work with SK, like how good of a performer he was and about his characters.
P.S.S. This is not an invitation to add more discourse or anon posts about him. If you want to react to this, there’s a comment section under this post and I might reply.
Will there still be a lot of discourse/posts about Rob’s actions in the next 5 or 10 years? Hopefully not, as we all get older and the active and older SK members will be in their 40s or 50s. Heck, they might even talk about him again and maybe open up about what he did (again) as a reflection, kind of like a deep-dive history documentary, when SK reaches their 20th or 30th anniversary or something.
I could say more about this but I'm just gonna say the biggest on my mind after reading this
I think a big reason people still talk is actually to inform fans who don't know, also it can be hard to seperate his performance from him, art vs artists
For you maybe not since you weren't part of the fandom while he was here but for many people he was MASSIVE part starkid and loved by many
Just because it's been 3 years doesn't mean people have to stop talking about it and should only think of the good parts of him, again it's pretty hard to do that
Also "note, expressing that you miss or wish Robert had stayed because you enjoyed his performances will likely attract replies about what he did, and they often repeat the same things. It's probably best to avoid this" what are you getting at here? First off although I can understand being nostalgic for before this all happened sure I'd honestly hope no one who knows what happened actually truly wishes he stayed, he sexually harassed someone in starkid, I don't think he should stay in the same company as the person he harassed. Second yeah people commenting about what he did are going to repeat the same things? Bc they are explaing what the bad things he did were? You can't add on or makr stuff very different when explaing what the bad things someone did were.
