🗣️ This is for all new internet connected cars
A new study has found that your car likely knows more about you than your mom. That is disconcerting, but what’s even more so is what is being done with your information. It’s all about the Benjamins. Our private information is being collected and sold.
The Mozilla Foundation, a non-profit that studies internet and privacy issues, studied 25 car manufacturers. And it found every manufacturer sold in America poses a greater risk to your privacy than any device, app or social media platform.
Our cars are rolling computers, many of which are connected to the internet collecting information about how you drive and where. New cars also have microphones and sensors that give you safety features like automatic braking and drowsy driver detection. Those systems are also providing information. Got GPS or satellite radio? Then your car likely knows your habits, musical and political preferences.
Did you download your car’s app which gives you access to even more features? Well that also gives your car access to your phone and all the information on it.
The study found that of the 25 car brands, 84% say they sell your personal data.
And what they collect is astounding.
One example the study sites is KIA’s privacy policy. It indicates the company collects information about your sexual activity. I initially didn’t believe it until I pulled KIA’s privacy policy and read it. And it’s right there in black and white. It says it collects information about your “ethnicity, religious, philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, sex life, or political opinions.
And it says it can keep your info for “as long as is necessary for the legitimate business purpose set out in this privacy notice.”
Translation: Nissan can keep your information as long as they want to. And more than half of the manufacturers (56%) say they will share your information with law enforcement if asked.

but who am i to have opinions on the 'modernization' of cars, I drive a 2011 nissan juke sv and i LOVE it.
anyone else feel like the rise in large touchscreens replacing the dashboard controls in modern cars and making what once were physical buttons and knobs you could find and control without directly looking at into buttons on a screen INCREDIBLY dangerous?
#it actually does have a screen but i don't use it for anything other than the shitty backup camera#it's basically a built in gps it doesn't really do anything#i have to use an aux cord and i wouldn't have it any other way#and you know what this bad boy cost me? 7k#(not counting the various repairs done to it. but my dad did those so they were free)#oh wait i did have to get a new hood for it bc the original one had rust and that cost like... 1k? 1.4k?#before this car i drove a 2013 nissan leaf (i like early 2010s nissans sorry)#and you might not know this but that was one of the first fully electric cars on the market. that bad boy could go 70 miles (barely)#on a full charge. and god did i LOVE that car#it was good for driving to and from school and in some ways was nicer than the car i have now.#however. not practical for driving several hours to my university#also my current car has a really cool black and red color scheme inside.#which means it gets VERY hot when the sun hits those black leather seats. but it looks awesome

What has been happening in the world of motorsports lately?
this is very long overdue (at least 2 months worth of news), because i simply didn't have time to put it together. i tried to split it into categories that make sense, so you can only focus on what you are interested in. all mistakes are my own and there has been so much happening i probably forgot something as well :))
Women in Motorsport and F1 Academy
Alisha Palmowski was the F1 Academy wildcard entry for Qatar GP (and did amazing)
for the last race weekend in Abu Dhabi, it is Logan Hannah in a special F1 Academy livery
A bizarre situation happened in F1 Academy: the second race was cancelled in Qatar because of track reparations after a Porsche Cup crash into the barriers, then in Abu Dhabi, they added a third race but instead of taking the positions for it from the last quali in Qatar, they took a third time in Adu Dhabi’s quali and awarded two more points for it – therefore they stripped Abbi off her title that weekend and she had to earn it again which she did of course, so technically she became a champion of the same series twice within the same season
Michele Mouton got Lifetime Achievement Award at FIA gala
as a champion, Abbi gets full funded 2025 GB3 championship seat
Luna Fluxa became karting champion in Senior category of the Champions of the Future Academy Programme
there is also 400% increase of female karters in BIKC finals this years with the help of Discover Your Drive F1A programme
again, this is very late but here is a list of all drivers that took part in the Women's test in FE in Madrid: Marti and Chambers for Andretti, Buhler for Mahindra, Chadwick and Wadoux for Jaguar, Edgar and Visser for DS Penske, de Silvestro for Kiro Race, Koyama for Lola Yamaha, Gabča Jílková <3 and Garcia for Porsche, Pulling and Flörsch for Nissan, Bustamante and Lloyd for McLaren, Calderon and Schreiner for Maserati and Palmowski and Powell for Envision
Hitech is also joining F1 Academy as 6th team from 2025 onwards
Michelle Gatting officially became Porsche factory driver as a part of Iron Dames/Porsche collab
oh and Iron Dames have a new face joining: Celia Martin
Karen Gaillard won the national junior shootout as the first woman ever and became a part of Porsche Junior Programme
Doriane Pin appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel (idk how to explain in F1 terms how huge this is)
All confirmed 2025 F1 Academy drivers so far:
Lia Block for Williams
Doriane Pin with Prema and Mercedes (and she will also reace in Freca as part of Iron Dames)
Chloe Chambers for Red Bull Ford
Alisha Palmowski for Red Bull Racing
Nina Gademan for Alpine
Rafaela Ferreira for Racing Bulls
Ella Lloyd for McLaren
Alba Hurup Larsen for Tommy Hilfiger
Courtney Cobe for Haas
Emma Felbermayr for Sauber
Rules, FIA and its president
After Red Bull’s protest, FIA banned protective skid blocks on the plank of the car which affected 7 out of 10 teams
The controversial McLaren rear wing with “mini DRS” is now officially illegal and new tests will be added from next season onwards to prevent other teams using it (because it wasn’t open when the car was still, only when moving and particularly at straights)
Mohammed Ben Sulayem wants to change up the rules/governing in FIA which comes down to him having more direct power and preventing him from getting backlash from it (update since the last time I wrote this down: he passed it through the voting and FIA moves even more towards autocracy)
Liberty Media might be in trouble for the MotoGP take over (let's wait for European Union to give more details)
FIA showed the new 2026 car concept after some clarifications
Sulayem said if drivers want paid full time professional stewards, they should pay for them (as their predicted operating result is 2,2m which is a big jump after -24m in 2021... it is a non-profit organization btw)
Pirelli is (as per usual) from the post season tyre testing when they found out the C6 tyres are essentially useless because they do not even hold on for a full lap
F1 st up a diversity and inclusion charter to help marginalized group into F1
Juniors
F2 and F3 will race in Madrid from 2026 onwards
Kimi and Ollie were meant to take part in Super Formula Suzuka test but Kimi had to pull out last minute due to illness (which forced him to skip the last race as well), from other names you might know Correa or Frederick too
Carrie Schreiner, Zane Maloney and Theo Pourchaire leave Sauber junior academy (Carrie will be their ambassador for 2025, Theo is development driver for Peugeot in WEC and Zane is in FE)
Williams signed karter Will Green for their junior academy
F2 confirmed line up so far:
HITECH: Luke Browning, Dino Beganovic
INVICTA: Roman Staněk (round of applause for my boy please) and Leo Fornaroli
AIX: Joshua Durksen, Cian Shields
CAMPOS: Arvid Lindblad, Pepe Martí
PREMA: Seb Montoya, Gabriele Mini
TRIDENT: Sam Meguetounif, Max Esterson
RODIN: Christian Mansell
MP MOTORSPORT: Richard Verschoor, Oli Goethe
ART GP: Ritomo Miyata
DAMS: Jak Crawford, Kish Maini
F3 confirmed line up so far:
MP MOTOSPORT: Alessandro Giusti, Tim Tramnitz, Bruno del Pino
HITECH: Joshua Dufek, Martinus Stenshorne, Gerrard Xie
PREMA: Ugo Ugochukwu, Brando Badoer, Noel Leon
RODIN: Callum Voisin, Roman Bilinski, Louis Sharp
DAMS: Matias Zagazetta, Nicola Lacorte
TRIDENT: Rafa Camara, Noah Stromsted, Charlie Wurz
CAMPOS: Nikola Tsolov (rip), Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, Mari Boya
ART: James Wharton, Laurens Van Hoepen, Tukka Taponen
VAR: Theophile Nael
Other racing series
Mick leaves the role of Merc reserve driver at the end of this year, but he got confirmed for Alpine’s WEC line up for 2025
Mitch Evans had technical issues in qualifying of the first race of the new season, so he was dead last on the starting grid and then he used up a bit of good luck and climbed up to P1 to win the race from the last place
Jamie Chadwick and Logan Sargeant will be driving LMP2 car number 18 in the 2025 European Le Mans Series with IDEC Sport
There is a rumour Toyota wants Ricciardo in Supercars or Nascar for next year
super old news i forgot to share: Ugo Ugochukwu won Macau GP (even with the 1000 red flags)
Jorge Martin won the Moto GP championship for the first time ever
Alpine will sponsor Pramac Yamaha in MotoGP from 2025 onwards
Andre Lotterer will continue with hypercar for Genesis
and Robert Kubica will continue with AF Corse
Iron Lynx switched from Lamborgini to Merc in LMGT3 WEC for 2025 onwards
Future of F1
Monza and Monaco both got extended till 2031 with Monaco moving places to let Canada come after Miami, also with some rumours about the hosting fee being significantly higher for Monaco after years of paying the least of all venues, Chinese GP got extended until 2030 and Zandvoort got one year extension till 2026 which will be the last edition of the GP for some time and as a “celebration” it will be a sprint weekend
General Motors’ application to join F1 from 2026 onwards came through and Cadillac/GM confirmed Mario Andretti as CEO? Whatever. And they also appointed Guanyu’s manager Graeme Lowdon as team principal
Cadillac will be using Ferrari engine for multiple years after they enter in 2026, they want to use their own engines by 2030 though
also Andretti Racing Limited changed its name to Cadillac Formula Racing Limited (objectively hilarious)
oh and Rob White will joing Andretti Global as chief of operations
With the FIA gala 2024 taking place there, Rwanda officially announced their bid to host an F1 race
Este will have the first female race engineer (or so everyone claims and i was too tired to check at this point but wasn't Ruth a race engineer at some point) in Haas next year with Laura Muller
Qiddiya circuit should host Saudi Arabian GP from 2027 onwards
James Vowles admitted that the crashes this year will probably negatively influence them in 2025 as well
Argentina wants to get a GP in their country but so far there is a lot of work and a lot of talks so it wouldn't be anytime near
Czech Republic would also like to host F1 gp after motogp is returning here, Masarykův circuit in Brno is in talks (but we are talking 5 years plan at least), there would be a lot of work done again BUT the owner (rights holder? idk the position) is good friends with Mohammed Ben Sulayem so there is that
this is also old but idk if i mentioned it in previous round ups: from 2025 the minimum driver weight is increased to 82 kgs to try to avoid drivers going throught extreme dieting as there is more talks about how big of a toll it takes on them
Andretti said that F1 is now open to 12th team as well
Teams and drivers
Jack lost the fight for race number 12 with Kimi for next year and will be racing under number 7 (but he raced under 61 during the last weekend)
Kimi also isn’t doing too well tho, he had to miss out both on the sprint race and the feature race this weekend as he has been diagnosed with food poisoning and the doctor advised him against racing)
Gabriel Bortoleto will be running under number 5 starting next year
Charles won the overtake of the month of November (and you can vote for his overtake in Abu Dhabi in the overtake of the month poll, which gives you opportunity to win 2025 Miami GP tickets)
Haas signed a new sponsorship deal with Chicago uni (wow)
Santander is leaving with Carlos meaning they signed a multiyear sponsorship deal with Williams from 2025 onwards
Yuki admitted he spent about 3 hours in interrogation room when he arrived to the usa (just days after fans got mad at Charles saying, “maybe try in Spanish” and calling it racist – you have to see the difference at this point and realize there are poc on the grid and Carlos is not one of them but alas)
George and Charles both confirmed none of the drivers were informed about the race director’s change before they saw it in the media
Checo apologized (or like. Tried to) for his father’s homophobic language towards Ralph Schumacher
Lewis will test F1-75 for the first time on 22nd January in Fiorano
Ferrari made a send off for Carlos by letting him and his father drive F1-75 together today (Charles came to watch over the cars)
Guanyu randomly participated in a gaming event (CS GO?)
Aston Martin signed Dani Juncadella as a simulator driver
this is pure gossip at this part of the season but Guanyu is in talks to be Ferrari reserve driver (which to be fair. there are many signs poiting to this and f1 is always about the subtle signs so)
McLaren is apparently "taking brave risks" with the 2025 car
Ferrari will unveil their car on 19th February (the day after the London show) in Maranello :))
Silly season
There are some rumours Briatore is interested in Franco, and this is Jack’s one chance to prove himself but you know it is Alpine so…
Este wasn’t allowed to finish the season with Alpine or visit the factory to say goodbye to the workers he worked alongside for 5 years – all in exchange for the post season test with Haas (he posted the special helmet he had ready for the last GP though and he came to the usual drivers’ dinner in Abu Dhabi)
Helmut Marko said that Checo doesn’t have his seat guaranteed and they will meet with the board after the season to discuss the second seat
today multiple even more credible sources are reporting he is officially out of the seat and being replaced by Liam Lawson (which would probably include Hadjar in the second Racing Bulls seat)
also Hadjar was kinda speaking about this back in Qatar saying that he knows he doesn't need to stress about F2 anymore and hinting at an F1 seat
OK UPDATE: i will not be rewriting everything but Checo is officially out of red bull racing seat for 2025, expect the second seat to go to Liam probably and the announcement coming this week, probably tomorrow
Valtteri lowkey spilled the tea about Sauber, he was promised that the team would be built around him in Audi, but then it quickly became apparent they have no real plans, and any aims and targets Fred had went into the bin as he left
he should probably head to Mercedes as a reserve driver as per multiple rumours
he also said he turned down an Indycar offer
Frederic let Carlos go one day earlier than planned so he could do Williams filming day on Monday instead of just testing for Williams on Tuesday
a lot of noise about what "could have been" with Toto claiming he would get Charles if he knew sooner that Lewis is leaving, Max claiming he got an offer from Ferrari, Briatore claiming Fernando got an offer from Williams before signing to Aston and Carlos claiming he was 90% (or was it 99%?) sure he would re-sign with Ferrari again
Kevin Magnussen got confirmed as WRT's driver in WEC hypercar for 2025
lots of people have been speaking about Max potentially retiring after winning another championship, announcing the pregnancy and organizing a part for all Red Bull staff in Abu Dhabi where he appeared as a speaker (but it is unfounded for now)
Ted Kravitz thinks that Alex Albon has a Red Bull exit clause in his Williams contract
Michael Manning (Max's trackside control engineer since 2016) is leaving F1
End of the season
Based on reports, Lewis organized the dinner again and Valtteri paid for everyone (and someone poisoned Charles there rip)
To add to Charles’ misfortunes, his battery cannot be saved anymore so he missed a part of the FP1 with his brother Arthur, then they announced they are taking a new battery so he will get 10 places grid penalty, then he had a slight PU issue at the start of fp2 (and then Jean Alesi broke out he has food poisoning and almost didn’t sleep) and then they had to change his plank because of extreme wear and give him a new one, then his time in Q2 (which put him to provisional p1) got deleted for track limits (while two other drivers with the same track limits violation in the same turn got their laps reinstalled)… fastforward a few hours and he made it to the podium from p19
It wasn’t enough to get McLaren tho, so McLaren grabbed their first World Constructor’s Championship win in 26 years
Abu Dhabi was an outing for many juniors (Arthur in Carlos’ car to make history as first time brothers drove for the same team in F1, Luke Browning in Williams, Isack Hadjar in Red Bull, Felipe Drugovich in Aston Martin, Ayumu Iwasa in VCARB, Ryo Hirakawa in McLaren and technically also Jack Doohan in Alpine)
also arthur was displayed as LEL to avoid confusion with LEC
Many drivers did after season young driver testing in Abu Dhabi although there was a change: Kimi Antonelli still wasn’t feeling well after he got food poisoning so after withdrawing from the last sprint race and feature race, he had to follow doctor’s orders and also withdraw from the testing (so Fred Vesti jumped in)
Max served his community service at the FIA Gala in Rwanda with young drivers
oh Max also randomly tested GTP and Yuki indycar while in the US
fun fact, remember the punctures in qatar? pirelli believes they had nothing to do with the debris on track which just raises more question marks imo
Alex and Guanyu swapped their helmets in Abu Dhabi (also idk if i mentioned but Goerge made a special helmet for lewis and Charles made one for Carlos)
Other news
Formula E donated 250k to More than Equal and Wings for Life charities as part of the bet that Max will win the championship
Alex Jacques is ending as F2 commentator
Ollie will now has his own merch line with his bear logo
[this is actually very sad, illness TW] Eddie Jorden admitted he was diagnosed with cancer and urged everyone to get their checkups
Oscar's trainer Kim Keedle is leaving F1
Tyler the Creator's Gold and Lewis' 44+ partnered for a capsule ahead of Las Vegas GP
Ollie was fangirling over Jannik Sinner at ATP finals
Franco and Guanyu both had their respective magazine photoshoots (GQ Spain Men of the Year and Man About Town) slayed them
Sophia Flörsch tried to cancel Lewis for not investing into diversity or whatever (completely missed the mark there tbh)
Christian Horner received a CBE for his services in motorsport????
there is a bit of mess behind the scenes about the F1 75 event in London because the tickets famously sold out it minutes and the official F1 rules state that the only valid tickets are from them and people who buy them from resellers won't be let in, that didn't go unnoticed by viagogo that posted about ticket resale being legal in the UK and banning their tickets would go against the anti-monopol rules :)
Older gossips I forgot to share months ago:
Oakes has primary buying rights if Alpine were to sell, it has been a part of the deal to make him the team principal of Alpine – he is Hitech CEO (or team principal? I always get all these positions twisted) and played a crucial role into signing Paul Aron as an Alpine reserve since he was Hitech driver as well
Binotto has been desperately trying to gain staff from Ferrari, but not many workers are interested in the project that doesn’t seem to have a strong position among the upcoming new regs so far
Pierre was looking for a place elsewhere before he found out that he doesn’t have a chance anywhere else – due to history like with VCARB or other candidates already being on the list in front of him like with HAAS – so he did the only possible thing and signed contract extension with Alpine
If Max were to follow Newey to Aston Martin in the future if they somehow manage to nail the new regulations for 2026 for example, Lance is said to be looking at WEC options
Domenicali wanted Zandvoort to include other “entertainment measures” besides racing (whatever that may be to him) and the investors weren’t willing to do that so there was a mutual agreement to end the partnership
Checo does have a contract with red bull but not neccesarily to race with the f1 red bull racing team so expect something like "ambassador" role or 3rd driver etc.
most of the george/max beef is made up, esp the quotes because a photograph was present when they had a conversation in front of the stewards room (max told george that he will get him back the next day into t1) and as for stewards everyone goes there individually (only with team representative/representatives)
Ferrari was the last constructor (so along with their customer teams, although Sauber already changed it) to use push rod front suspension and they will be changing to pull rod for 2025 onwards
allegedly FBI was at Las Vegas GP as part of investigation into Andretti (i call bullshit)
you know how F1 told no to Andretti? apparently there is personal beef between the CEO of Liberty Media Greg Maffei (yes the one who is leaving the moment GM are confirmed) and Andretti
Yuki moved to Milan, he lives SUPER close to Pierre and they had a party when he officially moved in as a part of "housewarming"???
Random “fun” facts I learned recently:
Fangio was once KIDNAPPED so he couldn’t drive in a GP in Cuba (it was someone from Fidel Castro’s party that kidnapped him)
In the upgrades, you only need to announce changes that are visible (aka once you change something “inside” it is not on the list of upgrades for each weekend)
Charles can never tank a random number of liters into his car, it always has to be some nice round up number and he has “a huge car that drinks a lot, so he can fit 150 liters into it)
Gio got married!!! (they grow up so fast)
Ollie will race with number 87 next year and his father David Bearman raced in GT racing under the same number
this one's really not fun and pretty old news, someone stole a steel statue of Gilles Villeneuve from Canada
Las Vegas had a huge problem last year with many areas of the track being easily accessible by random bystanders for viewing the race for free and for this year they stepped up with different barrieres and coverage at places that were "vulnerable" last year - YET there was a part with escalators that had view of the track so some people spent hours going up and down those to see the race
#gossip night#f1#long post#e#2024#winter break#uhh yeah sorry if i misspelled anything or forgot it is 2am

chapter 1: femininomenon
the rise and fall of a... an asshole germaphobe?? [sakusa x f!reader]
"and i don't understand, why can't any man..." wc: 986 || prev (prologue) || next (chapter 2) CW: relatively severe mysophobia, omi is a bit of jackass but your honor he didn't mean it i swear
“i'm not even doing this for you.” kiyoomi grumbles, adjusting the collar of the ridiculous black button-up. the stupid v-neck is too loose, and the sleeves atsumu insists he keeps rolled up are starting to make the insides of his elbows itch. not nearly enough coverage.
he doesn’t go out to clubs often - in fact, he doesn’t go to clubs at all. but shoyo wants him there, and so he decides he can tough it out for one night.
“doesn't mean i can't be happy about it!” atsumu practically bounces around the sitting room, somehow managing to check his outfit in every reflective surface it has to offer. “omi, ya need to get out more often! ‘s not good to always be cooped up at home.”
“well, in any case, i’m keeping the mask on tonight.”
impatiently he waits for atsumu just outside the door, tapping his loafer against the tiled floor of the hallway. when the msby setter finally emerges, hair artfully mussed, they head downstairs to bokuto’s nissan where they pile into the back seat.
akaashi greets them politely as he inputs the club’s address into his phone’s gps. “it’ll be a short fifteen-minute drive, so there’s nothing to worry about-”
“hey!” bokuto protests. “i can drive!”
“i know, love,” akaashi soothes the older man. “but your driving worries them, and for good reason. take it slow, okay?”
thankfully, bokuto turns onto the main road without incident. atsumu’s phone pings loudly, to which kiyoomi flinches. “shoyo and his friends are already there,” he comments. “wouldja step on the gas, bo?”
“no,” akaashi says firmly. kiyoomi thinks this is the reason why they survive the ride.
it’s nine-thirty when shoyo meets them near the entrance, tequila shots in hand and clearly tipsy already. he pushes a shot glass into bokuto’s hand, mumbling something unintelligible, then promptly slumps onto his broad shoulder.
“he says there are seats at the bar for us, near the dj’s setup,” the msby spiker reports to them seriously.
kiyoomi decides not to question how bokuto knows this, and they start making their way through the crowd to the bar. he cringes as he’s bumped and shoved by sweaty young adults into other sweaty young adults. pulling his mask up and his sleeves down does little to stop the feeling of bugs crawling over every inch of his skin.
it feels like a breath of fresh air when they finally find their reserved seats, but it quickly devolves into a situation that’s not much better. akaashi’s warning to go easy on the drinks goes unheard by atsumu and bokuto. they’re yelling in his ears and akaashi’s yelling at them, and girls and guys start coming up to them and hitting on them and touching and feeling and it’s all too much for him and he thinks he’s going to throw up-
“hey, man, you good? you’re shoyo’s friend, right?”
he looks up, trying to stabilize his breathing, and realizes he’s had his face buried in his hands for a while now. his vision swims before his eyes, but he can make out a vaguely familiar face. it’s nishinoya, shoyo’s friend, the dj. his eyes are wide in concern as he reaches for his shoulder, but pulls away quickly when he sees kiyoomi flinch away.
“yeah,” he croaks hoarsely. “just… just a little dizzy.”
“okay,” nishinoya mutters, not sounding very convinced. “you don’t want to go to the regular toilet, it’s filthy in there. here, take my access pass-” he presses a plastic card on a lanyard into kiyoomi’s palm- “and they’ll let you into the back area. make a right, and you’ll find the toilet. feel free to stay in the staff room until your friends are done doing… whatever they’re doing.” they look back over to where the boys have wandered off to, and they seem to be enjoying themselves.
“thank you,” kiyoomi says, heading in the direction nishinoya points him in, footsteps quickening with every second that passes. the crowd seems to have grown, which makes it even more difficult to navigate the floor.
he’s just a few steps away from the door labeled “staff only”, when it happens.
there’s the initial impact. a gasp - is it from her or himself? he can’t tell - liquid sloshing onto his shirt and onto the floor, the cold, wet, slightly sticky feeling of her drink seeping to the fabric, the fabric sticking to his skin, the soft touch of her hands on his forearm.
it disgusts him, all of it.
“i am so, so sorry-”
he jerks his hands away, watching her eyes widen slowly.
“don’t touch me,” he rasps.
she wrings her hands, looking guilty. “look, i’m sorry, i’ll help you get cleaned up. i’ll even pay for a new shirt if that one’s ruined, so-”
“i think you’ve done quite enough!”
it comes out louder than he intended. the people surrounding them turn their heads to see what happened, and he’s starting to feel annoyed again. he looks at her, down at his soaked shirt, and back to her, and it seems that there are tears prickling her eyes. she wipes her tears with the back of her arm. an ugly feeling swells in kiyoomi’s chest. he isn’t exactly ready to forgive her, but he’d never intended to drive someone to tears tonight.
“i’m sorry, i overreacted,” he starts to say, but falls silent at a loud sob from her. her eyes are red now, her makeup smudged, and the anger in her voice is obvious as she speaks.
“why did i even bother trying tonight when all men are pigs?”
kiyoomi sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “wait,” he calls out, but she’s already gone, lost in the blur of bodies and music. guilt gnaws at him as he wipes at his soaked shirt, feeling the weight of his own reaction settle heavily. this night can't end soon enough.
author's notes:
yeah
it's 2am and i couldn't sleep so i churned this out
sorry omi you bisexual king that you had to go through this

I'm sorry but this needs to be said from me.
Lando Norris disgusts the holy fucking fuckery of Hell out of me after his true colors got out during the Hungarian GP.
Like bro, I might just need some fucking therapy for this. Like, if I can think of all the swear words in the English language, I will hurl all of them at you. My hatred for this disgruntled pelican is almost similar to my hatred of the Toyota Prius, the PT Cruiser, the Chevy HHR, the Nissan Juke, Guenther Steiner, James Vowles and the Tate brothers.
Like holy fuck I have never had such genuine hatred for a person and I am honestly a genuinely outgoing and sociable kind of person.

my irl friend (who knows next to nothing about Warrior Cats other than what I’ve told him) wrote this and I felt the need to share it with the world (and he gave me permission to do so)
“Is it gone?” cried the one in the tuxedo patterns. The grass was smashed under its paws and the tall vines were used as a camouflage against the monster that lurks on the warm, grey ground. Before continuing on, Leaf-feather looks over to its ginger brother, Fallstar.
“Is the monster gone?” asked Leaf-feather once again.
“The monster?” replied Fallstar with such confusion. “By the monster do you mean the 2015 Nissan Altima with a dent in it’s bumper on the right side, with 35% tinted car windows to perfectly protect the family of a father, another father, a child, and a disappointment, with a sedan body style, with 33 PSI in each tire, with the old, crusted fries that the children had dropped in between the semi-aniline leather seats, with the crack of the windshield, with the busted taillight, with the latest touch screen that has Pandora and Google Maps installed, with Zombies by The Cranberries playing at a volume of 12 on the 10” screen car radio with GPS ordered from Amazon, ew, with the oil leak that they won’t know to happen on the 3rd of January, 2021, at exactly 4:21 AM, with the timing chain a tad loose, with the messy cup holders after a one too many fast food cups leaked through the cups and made the bottom of the cup holder sticky and a beloved breeding ground of the flies, with the super stuffed glove department with the most random things like scissors, pill bottles full of quarters, and various straws and condiments from restaurants? That monster?”, asked Fallstar.
“Dude, what the meow?” thus replied Leaf-feather.

The family of a North Carolina man is suing Google for negligence after he died from crashing into a creek below a collapsed bridge at the alleged direction of Google Maps, the Associated Press reported.
On September 30th, 2022, state troopers found Philip Paxson drowned in his overturned pickup truck beneath a bridge that had collapsed nearly a decade earlier.
Mr Paxson (47), from Hickory, North Carolina, was returning home from his daughter’s ninth birthday before the incident, his mother-in-law wrote in a post on Facebook. She added that neither the destroyed bridge nor the road leading to it had any barriers or warning signs to alert drivers of the hazard.
“It was a dark and rainy night and he was following his GPS which led him down a concrete road to a bridge that dropped off into a river,” the post reads. “He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. It was a totally preventable accident. We are grieving his death.”
In addition to Google, the Paxson family’s lawsuit names a number of private property management companies who were responsible for the land where the crash happened and for surrounding plots, according to the Associated Press.
In a statement to the Guardian, a Google spokesperson said: “We have the deepest sympathies for the Paxson family. Our goal is to provide accurate routing information in Maps and we are reviewing this lawsuit.”
Lawyers for the Paxsons allege that several people have tried to flag the washed-out bridge to Google and have included email correspondence between a Hickory resident who tried to use the “suggest an edit” feature in 2020 to get the company to address the issue. Google never responded to the suggestion, allege attorneys.
“Our girls ask how and why their daddy died, and I’m at a loss for words they can understand because, as an adult, I still can’t understand how those responsible for the GPS directions and the bridge could have acted with so little regard for human life,” Alicia Paxson, Mr Paxson’s wife, told the Associated Press.
Mr Paxson is not the first person whose death has been tied to GPS.
In 2020, a Russian motorist (18) froze to death after he and a friend were stranded in a vehicle for a week after following a Google Maps route through Serbia’s “road of bones”.
In 2019, a truck driver in Jakarta, Indonesia, drove off a cliff after following a Google Maps route that was only meant for motorcycles, the Straits Times reported.
In 2015, Zohra Hussain (51) died in a car crash in Indiana after her husband, who was following his Nissan Sentra’s built-in GPS, drove off an unmarked toll road that led to a demolished bridge. Her husband, sued the state of Indiana over the lack of barricades, according to the Chicago Tribune. – Guardia

How to Choose a Car for Monthly Rental in Dubai?
Opting for a monthly car rental in Dubai is a convenient and cost-effective choice, whether you're staying for business, leisure, or long-term purposes. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you choose the perfect car for your monthly rental:
1. Define Your Needs
Start by assessing your requirements:
Daily Commute: For regular city travel, choose a fuel-efficient and compact car like a Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, or Nissan Sunny.
Luxury Lifestyle: Dubai is synonymous with luxury, so if you want to blend into the city’s glamour, opt for a premium car like a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, or even a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Family or Group Travel: If you’re traveling with family or colleagues, consider spacious SUVs like the Toyota Prado, Kia Sportage, or Nissan Patrol.
Adventure Seekers: For off-road desert adventures, 4x4 vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler or Toyota Land Cruiser are ideal.
2. Consider Your Budget
Determine how much you're willing to spend on the rental. Monthly rentals often come with discounts compared to daily rates, but prices vary depending on the type of car:
Economy Cars: Affordable and cost-effective for those on a budget.
Mid-Range Cars: Ideal for a balance of comfort and cost.
Luxury and Sports Cars: Higher costs but perfect for an indulgent experience.
3. Evaluate Fuel Efficiency
Gas prices in Dubai are affordable, but choosing a fuel-efficient car can save you money if you plan on extensive driving. Compact sedans or hybrid cars like the Toyota Prius are great options for daily commutes.
4. Check Insurance and Extras
Ensure the monthly rental includes:
Comprehensive Insurance: Covers accidents and damages.
Maintenance Services: Some companies offer free maintenance for long-term rentals.
Salik (Toll) Charges: Understand how toll charges will be billed.
5. Look for Features
Depending on your preferences, check for:
Comfort Features: Air conditioning, cruise control, and spacious interiors for longer trips.
Technology: GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and reverse cameras for ease of use.
Safety: Advanced safety features, especially if you're new to Dubai's traffic.
6. Verify Documentation
Before signing the rental agreement:
Ensure your driver's license is valid in the UAE (International Driving Permit may be required).
Check for any mileage restrictions.
7. Plan for Return and Extensions
If there's a chance you might extend the rental, inquire about extension policies beforehand. Many companies allow seamless renewals for monthly rentals.
The right car for a monthly rental in Dubai will depend on your lifestyle, travel requirements, and budget. From economy sedans to luxury vehicles and robust SUVs, Dubai offers a wide range of options to ensure you enjoy your stay in comfort and style. Always book in advance and read customer reviews to secure the best deal.

20th century
NISSAN MOTORSPORTS
1958-2000
70~
Taking on the challenge of overseas rallies.
On a safari
Active in Monte Carlo
The domestic racing world of the 170s was compared to the excitement of the 1960s.
The market has become somewhat sluggish. This was further exacerbated by the oil crisis caused by exhaust gas pollution, and the world fell into a mood of refraining from racing activities.
The 1970s began with a strategic plan, but it started in the Middle East at the end of 1973.
Participation in overseas rallies was emphasized as a works activity. 510 Bluebird SSS won the overall victory in the 8th year of the safari challenge. The Fairlady 240Z won the safari in the first year of the World Championship, and has consistently maintained top results ever since, moving on to the Bluebird 160J and 710/PA10 Violet.
In Japan, the Fuji GC system, which is dominated by private teams,
Races such as Leeds and Suzuka F2 Championship started.
After many twists and turns, they gradually become established.
Works drivers belonging to the manufacturer also
He was transferred to an event team and competed in big races.
Furthermore, GC and F2 races using pure racing cars are also available.
Although it was an undercard race for the race, the race for modified touring cars also gained popularity. Skyline GT-R (later Fairlady Z) competes with Mazda rotary cars
The "Super Touring" that I made, and the Sunny (in the early days Cherry too)/Toyota Starlet (initial Corolla)
Every race is amazing with Honda, Civic, etc.
``Minor Touring'' was a fierce battle. The Sunny 1200 Coupe (KB110), which became the main character of the latter, was originally a popular car, but with the birth of normal car (unmodified touring car) racing in Japan, it became popular with everyone at circuits throughout Japan. Loved. It is no exaggeration to say that without the KB110, the foundation for domestic racing could not have been built.
World racer at Fuji Speedway from 1970 to 1977
The F1GP match was held, and there was also a sense of excitement among the children.
``Car boom'' began, and cars gradually became popular.
Brightness has returned to the environment surrounding the world.
PIC CAPTIONS
A Datsun 240Z races through the snowy Monte Carlo Rally. Announced in the fall of 1969
The Fairlady Z appeared in various competitions as soon as the 1970s began. It is active not only in circuit races but also in international rallies. At the 1971 Monte Carlo Rally, it placed 5th overall despite being the first to race, and the following year, in 1972, this car of Aaltonen/Todt took 3rd place overall.
_____________________________________________
The 510 Bluebird SSS (Hermann/Schuller) achieved an impressive victory in the 17th year of the Safari Rally, which is run over the rough roads of vast East Africa. Despite the poor conditions of rain on the first day of the competition, which turned into a quagmire, Bluebird finished in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th place overall, achieving complete domination with overall victory, class victory, and team victory.
_____________________________________________
The Skyline GT-R, which debuted at the JAF-GP in the spring of 1969, went on to win consecutive races, and in 1971, when the hardtop version (KPGC10) was introduced, its strength increased, giving no chance to the new Mazda Rotary team. Then, in March 1972, at Fuji in heavy rain, this No. 15, driven by Kunimitsu Takahashi, lapped the 2nd place and below and won an easy victory, giving the GT-R its 50th victory in total. This was an amazing record at the time.
_____________________________________________
In the late 1970s, the hottest race in Japan was the "Minor Touring" race held as the undercard of the Fuji GC Series. 1.3'' engine cars tuned to the limit, Sunny, Starlet, and Civic all competed together. KB110 Sunny is a masterpiece car that will remain in Japanese racing history.
