Now that I've thought about it more I think the other two turtles deserve the chance to be yeeted right through a window and into a coma. To spice things up.

Like, trying to get everything in the old farm house up and running with Donatello around and realizing how much needs fixing and how hard it is without him.

Or how quiet it is with Mikey around and how every joke seems to fall flat without him. Finding old comics and the brothers taking turns reading them to him while he's in a coma.

There's a surprising little amount of jokes about how Raph was the first one that got got by a window in the old live action movies. Like, so many jokes about Leo going through it (the window) and I love that. But also Raph would totally make fun of him for 'copying' him and how he was being thrown windows before it was even cool (a meme)

So apparently most people don’t get only four hours of sleep average. Who knew?

Based on real conversation I had with myself lol. Literally my roommates suggested and medical professionals told me I had insomnia, and I was like “naw, I can sleep sometimes, surely that’s normal!” until I was drawing at 2:00am and it finally sunk in while I was listening to a podcast about it.

Must be nice to be a turtle living rent free in the sewers, able to take 2pm naps whenever and stay up till dawn. I love walking around when it’s dark, but it’s harder to do that in a city rather than on a farm! In the night you can see everything awash in silver from the moon, and the shadows are rich in color, the stars a direct parallel to the fireflies sparkling in the trees. The mist over the early morning fields is also so pretty, especially when the spiderwebs in the grass catch the dew :)

The city holds its own beauty at night. The hushed wind of a lone car as it passes by to places unknown, the shimmer of streetlights on cool pavement, the warm lights of distant windows reminding me that every inch of this place is full of life and people living their own stories.

Alas, sleep is also nice lol

SAINW fic! CW for angst and smoking, but the character is well overage for it

There was a point in Raphael's life where it felt like every other thought started like that. 

If Donnie was here he’d know what to do. If Donnie was here, he’d know how to find Donnie. If Donnie was here they would have known the Shredder had found the lair before he attacked. 

Raphael took a deep inhale of smoke from his cigarette, his one good eye casted over the city. It was dangerous to be out in the open like this, but he couldn’t bring himself to care at the moment. It was harder to care about stuff like that, when you only had your own shell to worry about. 

If Donnie was here , he’d slap him up the head for being reckless. Or maybe he’d be lounging on the roof’s edge next to him. Donnie was always a rebel at heart.
