Okay Motorcity head cannons, here goes:

Mike is mixed. Partially Hispanic and Arab.

As stated previously, swearing is frowned upon in Deluxe. Texas is slowly desensitizing and deconditioning the others and Julie slipped up one or two times in front of her dad. Nothing big just stuff like damn but hard to explain none the less.

Chuck was experimented on by Kane Co. and they messed up his fear response. After that experience he high tailed it out of there. Other experiments where successful, though.

Jacob left Deluxe before Mike was born. To this day he feels bad for leaving his daughter, Mike's mom, to fend for herself. At first neither of them knew they where related but they eventually figured it out. Mike's last name comes from his mother.

Mike and Julie briefly knew each other before he defected. By then she wasn't an official intern but Mike thought she was, because why else would you hang around Kane all the time.

The Burners are all in their early twenties. I read somewhere that Mike is seventeen and that just strikes me as impossible.
