Do you also think "two left feet" is offensive? Ever since being more aware of how people look down on it, I can't help but notice patterns in language that consider the left generally to be negative.

Or even things like disney changing the left slipper from the original stories to right slipper in their version

I’m not sure of the exact origin on that one. Seeing as “gauche” is French for left, there’s definitely that idea of associating the left side with less-than-refined. It could just be referring to the fact that having two of the same feet would make dancing difficult, but they noticeably did not choose for that to be two right feet, which would be just as inconvenient

I didn’t find this out until recently, but the lofi girl from those “lofi beats to study/relax to” playlists livestreams is also left-handed! She can be seen writing with her left hand during the video as the music plays!
