“UNLOVE” was a new standalone single from @scaryblack_ & it found the Louisville-based multi-instrumentalist majestically swooning & beautifully crooning across 6+ mins of achingly tender, Gothically hued & Psychedelic Furs-esque NightmarePop.

@sculptureclub returned w/ “CURSED OR HEXED,” the A/side from their latest 7” titled ‘Cursed’ & it found the Dallas/SLC-based quartet unleashing the jumped_up_country_boy goods across a properly popped 2:30 clip of endorphin rushed, broodingly bruised & casually charming NuWave that leaves us feeling punk, scene/seen & dancing.

Them @slide.philly boys returned w/ a dreamy new standalone single titled “SOMA” & it found the wholly Philly-based quartet sliding (ayyyeeoo) into the vaporous ether across 5 1/2 mins of heavenly gazed, heavily hazed & softly swoll AltRawk.

@truefaithx returned w/ a new standalone single titled “IN VAIN” & it found the Boston-based quintet seamlessly finding that sweet spot between emboldened rage & melancholic beauty, the former courtesy of booming vox & the latter thru twinkling ivories & some sweetly deployed sax!

@yeahrs_ kept up their momentous 2023 w/ a brand new standalone single titled “SMOKESCREEN” & it found the Berlin-based quartet bringing the grunge_gothing goods across 3 mins of moodily charged, pedal_gazed & melancholically malaise’d AltRawk… that final third push tho!
