I lost my job.

I had been off sick for almost the entirety of April, so the final pay amount I received today was £700. That is only just enough to cover rent and utilities for one month.

I am job searching actively; I have had one interview already, though the one scheduled for today was cancelled half an hour before it was due to start. Job hunting is soul destroying.

He's also thinking of inviting Niamh to go along with him, but Niamh seems to have other plans...

To put it simply though, not as much as you would think.

Between her and her older sister Saoirse, Niamh's always been the better voice of reason between them. As mentioned in chapter 22 of OtSttCA, Niamh was largely the reason why the Origins group was able to get so many alliances into place prior to the final battle in Denerim, which likely saved the city from being utterly destroyed.

Honestly, while Niamh has her playful moments with certain characters (she's still the biggest brat around Leliana 🤣), she's very diplomatic overall. That type of even temperament would probably mesh well with my canon Emrys Hawke, who is often chaos personified, and I'm sure Bethany would appreciate another person trying to help reign that type of energy in.
