NEW TSAMS AU IDEA: Nexus point!

In this au, when Sun was forced to kill Nexus, Nexus didn't die. He was banished to another dimension that's all dark and apocalyptic. Think Fallout mixed with Half-life with a dash of Last of us. Nexus is stuck in this forsakened universe and discovers not only is he trapped here, but his powers no longer work here for some reason. Nexus wanders for a while trying to survive this world's horrifying creatures only to discover another version of Solar who doesn't recognize him. This Solar takes Nexus in and introduces him to the others, turns out this dimension is sort of a place for the lost of the multiverse.

Dimensional nomads of sorts.

They all either lost their worlds and weren't dusted like Solar for some reason, got lost in the multiverse, or got banished from their dimension.

So, now, Nexus, with really no other choice, decides to stick it out here till he can find a way to get out of here or get his powers back and maybe he'll redeem himself along the way.... or become worse... who knows? 🤷‍♂️

It could have all sorts of crazy variants of the shows characters, A BloodEarth (An Earth who has a whole jekyll/Hyde thing going on), A good guy BloodMoon, A Monty who became the new Astral of destruction, A Freddy who was raised by his mom instead of Golden Freddy and who knows who else? The choice is yours!

I just was so scared for Jigsaw, that I didn't even manage to get angry at Nexus.

And Nexus... Oh NEXUS! You REALLY don't wanna get on my good side do you? Dude, go cry in the corner or something your depressed cringe wannabe emo. It would be more useful than torturing Jigsaw, who is already scared of you and is getting trauma flashbacks because of YOU!

Jigsaw in the flashback looked so... dead inside, like man. Now that made me question, is Jigsaw's Creator still trying to get revenge on Jigsaw for ruining his plans? Or is he already dead?

Also, i noticed the fact that basically the Son of a piece of trash and that depressed cringe wannabe emo are so alike. Both called Jigsaw "Ruin" and "Good boy", used him as their slave, both are egotistical people who think they are Gods, and wish to conquer a star like power.

But i gotta admit i loved to know more about Jigsaw's lore, honestly this made me want to punch the Nou and look at Nexus face, it looks so silly.

Alright, so let’s get down to this, I do NOT like the way the show has been headed, I don’t like Nexus’ villain arc, like I like that old moon is back but isn’t there a way we could’ve done that without making Nexus a villain, they did my boy dirty. I haven’t watched a lot of the recent episodes, I’m not gonna leave the fandom bc these mfs have me in a chokehold but I don’t like the way its going, I really like the father and child Sun and Dazzle relationship, it’s very wholesome. I also rly miss Solar, i just don’t think he’s gonna react well to the whole Nexus situation, I genuinely think that the grief of loosing Solar made Nexus lose it. Yes this is coming from a Nexus and Solar shipper but you can’t deny they were close friends. Don’t come at me for being a shipper this isn’t what this ramble is about. I miss the Lunar and Gemini dynamic, I will die with that ship also but that’s not the point, and I’m just trying to keep track of all that’s going on, at this point I’m buried in my own au

Random Idea but with what I know about current spoilers I have two ideas. One is that Sun will somehow becomes the Witherstorm (I AM BANKING ON THIS) or he's going to be relevant to the Witherstorm of their dimension and be scattered through dimensions.

One of my most favorite series of all time is "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles" and the crux of that series is they need to put someone back together and to do so, they have to travel to various dimensions to find the missing pieces of the person's soul. I totally see that happening to our Sun? I don't know why.

Even to this day, Sun still hasn't quite opened up about himself. Not to Old Moon, New Moon, Solar, Earth, Lunar, etc etc. I think the most he's been open towards thus far is probably Dazzle ironically?

I'm still getting caught up but I can tell Dazzle actually wants to get to know him so she's asking about him and he's honestly telling her. (also loving how Sun is spending more and more time with the kids in the show, He spends so much time with FC, Dazzle, Jack, etc. It's so wholesome) I'd say Earth and Lunar are in second place of knowing him best but they also still sometimes are kept an arm's length away.

Solution to this? Scatter parts of his 'soul' into the multiverse and make it the family's responsibility to find him! Heck he could even be in a coma the entire time they do this! When they find a Sun fragment they get to see his memories or feel and hear his thoughts.

In Tsubasa the fragments are called 'feathers' and they can warp reality, break time and space, or even gain sentience. I think it'd be so neat if one of the fragments of Sun became Dark Sun but I know it's not likely.

Just an Idea but it'd be so cool if it happens!

My second Idea, has to do with a sketch I did a bit ago (still working on more sketches for it) but basically I know Sun's currently gathering power. He's a fighter and wants to help! His family is still keeping him away from the action though. It's not malicious and comes from them wanting to protect him but it's going to ultimately leave him more vulnerable and a target.

Dark Sun I know is tampering with dark energies, he's raising a dragon? He's associating more and more with Witherstorm energy and he still hasn't quite confessed what his motive/plan is besides the fact this is "all for Sun"

So wouldn't this mean Sun is going to ultimately becomes a Witherstorm? It's what the creator studies and the one of the main dimension is different from others so who's to say our Sun and Moon aren't also built different with different fates?

Creator created something specifically just to torture and wear Sun down but when you think of it, that's also what Old Moon was until they split. I don't think that was the intention but the fact Old Moon just decided to point blank torture Sun? Sus, like it was meant to happen.

Dark Sun I think needs Sun to be his pet Witherstorm, and he's maybe planning to use Nexus to make that happen? I just got to the point in the series where he just picked up New Moon from space and took a chip out of his brain. Bruh...he needs him but won't say for what.

I really like when Sun spends time with Earth and Lunar too it'd be so cool if they have an adventure to save him.

BTW I've been listening to Aurora's song "The Seed" and it literally gave me a big brain AU idea for tsams but idk if I should try to write it.

I really hope Sun ascends to some kind of God-hood like being especially involving destructive energy like Witherstorm stuff. It'd be so neat and sad if one of the nicest people ever became the ultimate judge, jury, and executioner-like being. It's especially ironic since Nexus/New Moon can't decide what's real anymore and just decided to frick off and become God so it'd be realllyyyy funny if Sun was the one to become a reality altering being.

do you have plans for references for the rest of the reset cast once the fic comes out?

We already have designs for Lulu and Chips (OCs). Ellery has drawn up a concept design for Lunar (Original). I'm considering making the petition to have Moon's design once he switches bodies to be more like the design we have drawn up for our Ruin/(Old) Moon/Solar AU. But it's gonna take him a long time to get to the point where he's comfortable with that. I'll put these ones under the cut.

Vanth (Lunar after name/body change, basically OC atp tbh) needs a design. Bloom (Vanth and Moon merged, also OC) needs a design. Designs are in the works for the three different computer AIs (Ilo, Milo, and Spaniard). We're using my designs for the secondary dimension + Angel and Crescent. I think Ellery is gonna draw up a design for Sunny (Angel pre-reset), however, don't quote me on that my memory isn't always the best. Since the Jack in this fic isn't TSAMS Jack, he's FNAF Jack, we're using my design. Need to make designs for the BM shades and Eclipse's ghost. I think Earth needs her own design for this? I can't remember, but I'm like 90% sure that she modifies her body to be masc leaning. I'll have to reread our notes.

We haven't discussed who's designs are gonna be used for who for the main cast. Either way we both have designs on hand for it. Puppet's design is gonna be my version, I'll probably end up doing Monty too (because Ellery and Polaris fucking hate Monty). Foxy has a loose design. I haven't touched FC's design yet, but he's like 8? Mentally in this fic. Neither of us has a Nexus design yet iirc, so I'll probably make my own soon. Don't worry, any designs that we have figured out for the fic by the time we're ready to start uploading will be shared on the fic/here/with the fic/whatever.

So last night I had a TSAMS related dream.

There were three new videos on the channel, one was Sun VS Nexus, and then the next two were both Nexus focused. One had him waking up in a forest all confused, and then the one after it was him returning to the Pizzaplex (The thumbnail was of Monty angrily pointing a gun at a very shocked and confused Nexus)

I'm assuming Sun died and somehow Nexus' memories were reset or something (Because I recalled him remembering working on reviving Solar, but only everything before he snapped)

Kinda an interesting AU idea there, thanks conscious!

But, Nexus and the dark star power is a reform of dark energon but adapted over the time. And he have been consuming dark energon. (I think it's part of Unicorn's core or something like that- hey- rusty TF knowledge) like how Bucket head was(Megatron) was with the purple drugs(Dark energon) and in Predacons rising movie of the last ep of Transformers prime. Megatron was thrown off his ship and died by bee by getting stab from a sword made from the 16 primes. And how he gets revived but can't control his body since Unicorn is controlling him physically and it would hurt Megatron if he refuse to do what Unicorn wants. What about that happens to Nexus in a way where he go 'offline' but gets revived only to be a puppet(Again) but to a god(Unicorn), and Dark Sun($un), knowing the consequences as he saw it happen before in some other dimensions(I headcanon he saw some dimensions too in his spare time,plus Ruin,but didn't know what it was even at first nor care much since he never really examine the thing or chance out of trauma reaction or guts he have about it I guess?) as he purposely let it happen, CAUSE one, he hates all Moons(including Nexus cause of his behavior) and using him for his side project in a half benefiting way(I am still working on the f##king lore for OP Au).

But I am still figuring on how will he survive, having Starscream as a bud in their body(Two twin sisters,two different father beings), dying and how $un plan it or have the idea to have it all pin point to the source. Plus $un's dragon is half Predacon too to make it more sense in a Logical connection between TSAMS and TF.(Aye,another shockwave and Predaking sad father and son moment-)The astrals are solely related to primus and other cyber myths(That's made up btw-),like the titans and quintess(The ugly squid peeps who are just controlling),Etc and more! The astrals are partly made a small great amount of the allspark's energy for their abilities to fly,speed,strike,Etc. Lunar, is more a different generation and why Taurus didn't like nor trust at first too, cause Unicorn was part of Earth,Earth himself for the planet.So other reason to connect the two fandoms hehe:3

Day six; Sunflower, I absolutely love this one, I was stuck for a little bit on what to do and someone I know suggested I draw Sun (fnaf) as a flower/flower themed! One of my very first ps au designs actually had Sun flower themed so I did something similar to that (from memory because I didn’t have refrence for it at the time) and it turned out so well with the watercolors!!!

That was my third time using them ever and I finally looked up a fucking tutorial and figured out “oh. Make the colors lighter by using more water. That makes sense.” So yeah I love this piece.

Day seven; forest, this one was very lazy honestly, I was testing some human designs out on another page and so I just drew them far to small in a forest. The only reason I didn’t do it over was because I told myself please, it’s not a challenge it’s for inspiration. Do not worry over it. So yeah.

Day eight; ghost, I also completely love this one. Killcode is probably my favorite tsams character and I’m only a little pissed that he died. Anyways, my boi turned out so well, I didn’t have any real grays or light purples, which is most of his colors so it was a little struggle to make it work but I managed.

Also I did fire decently better than the Ignited drawing. I didn’t want to stick him in a specific afterlife so I gave him a halo and an aura to show he’s a ghost and stuck him in fire. He could be in hell, or in someone’s fireplace idk.

Day nine; apple, lazy but not bad, I just gave my boi ps au Lunar a caramel apple.

Day ten; rainfall, okay this one took me a day but I also love it. I was rereading a super cool fic from before Frank’s reveal as a negative emotion something something (idk I didn’t watch the episode or whatever but I’ve seen context in other ones) where it delves in on the idea of Frank or Forkface at the time, being a lazily made replacement for Sun and Moon. It tells the story from Forkface’s point of view and when it diverges from cannon, gives Forky a fun friendship with Earth!

It’s unfinished I think but it ends in a decent place without major cliffhangers that I could consider it finished there if the author wanted that. I assume they might’ve stopped writing it because of Frank’s reveal for what it actually was but I don’t actually know. The fic/series of oneshots/couple chapter long fics is called “I was supposed to be better” by The_PastelVoid. The first oneshot is called “To Be Made Better”.

Highly recommend it’s very good and even gives the boi lovely trauma! ANYWAYS, this drawing isn’t of the fic- the fic just made me think of Frank and I think their interpretation of him would just sit in the middle of the rain and stare up into it.

I don’t know exactly what Frank’s deal is in cannon but I think he’s some kind of entity draw to negative emotions based on what I’ve seen of his brother Francis. I decided to give him an outfit more representative of a Greek god of some kind because 1) I fucking hate drawing ruffles and 2) I like designing characters/outfits for characters. (This is so long I’m sorry-)

I offer a slight AU offshoot to the already semi-existing TSAMS Housing drama/Eviction AU, based on my attempts to reconcile some of the retcons going on with how they even brought Old Moon back in the first place after previously stating that was impossible:

That isn't even Old Moon. He is actually just a "clone" in the same way that Eclipse and Bloodmoon are (were), in that he has all of Old Moon's memories, and just didn't get the Nexus stuff thrown in.

He just seems more like his original than Eclipse and Bloodmoon did because he was built by Monty, who knew Moon really, really well, down to his coding, and has built him a body before and actually intended this version of Moon to be as functionally identical to the original as possible because they wanted "their" Moon back and to actually be alive and their own person, rather than what Eclipse and Bloodmoon had going on where they were part of a distraction scheme.

But considering that Monty couldn't put the parts of the code that eventually grew KC back in, considering how disastrous that would be on its own, let alone if it ended up spawning another version of KC, they just decided to play it safe and do a memory upload--performing minor tweaks and such to account for variances and make the memories seem more "realistic." Probably also by doing some sort of scrape of the code leftovers in Nexus' head after the torture via electrocution, and maybe even using some of Nexus' own, heavily edited memories. If only to get at more "realistic" emotional reactions and feelings towards the current situation.

Meaning that the Moon we are seeing now is more of a "Gibbous Moon." Closer to the full, Original Moon that died than Nexus--the New Moon who was a blank slate--but still not quite there because he is missing some key components in his code that would make him a "true Moon" the way the Creator designed.

Anyways. Back to the point which makes this an au of an au...

In this version, Gibbous Moon--as I am going to call him--would be the one to start the eviction lawsuit, among others, on Nexus' behalf after realizing the truth of the situation because Nexus is just too tired, drained, betrayed, and busy taking care of his new pet dragon and healing both mentally and physically to even think about doing so.

It would be... slightly more cordial? Less messy and full of vindictiveness? Because Gibbous Moon would still care about the others due to the programming and memories, but would also care about and understand Nexus in the same way and would understand that the living situation isn't really healthy for anyone right now.

So... more of a "settle out of court" situation. Perhaps an agreement that the dragon can live on the island and Nexus can get free access to visitation whenever he wants, but Sun--and probably Monty--would have to pay for a new home for Nexus and Gibbous. Or at least give them the titles to some of the old properties they still have, like Sun and Moon's original house.

So Nexus

I have been thinking a bit about my aus and decided to try and see how Nexus and their arc could potentially fit in them, as an experiment. And these results were actually pretty interesting! I like a few of these ideas and think I’m going to actively incorporate them into the aus, tho I’ll let y’all guess which ones those are :)

Man, Aus are fun

Your eyes are not deceiving you, those are indeed the Bloodmoons in Nexus and Moon’s place, not the weirdest swap in that au surprisingly.

Anyways, the first twins would be absolutely merciless in their taunts to the newer ones, just ruthless, utterly unforgiving. New BM would kinda get a bit self conscious and offended, tho I can see them taking up that suggestion and fully leaning into the plague thematic (this only came to be because I ironically called them The Plague after I drew this… it isn’t ironic anymore), might also be because of that obedience code they have though , honestly I’m not sure yet to be honest :P

(I have to talk about this au at some point lol)

This one was extra fun cuz I already had a concept for the Evil!Sun of the au and it actually kinda fits really well for a ‘Morningstar villain arc’!

In short, Dawn is a Moon that kidnaps adopts other Suns cuz he killed his and has lived with the guilt ever since, he wants to keep them safe and away from any sort of danger, Solar fucking hates him for trying to kidnap their Sun (yes Solar as in Nice!Eclipse is in the au, I’ll explain later) Morningstar would leave to team up with him to find a way to fix their little sibling who was affected by the multidimensional thing but didn’t die

Ok, now we have the not so silly stuff

I was struck with quite an idea for Get in Losers, since Old Moon didn’t die there’d be no need for a New Moon… unless someone else was counting on New Moon’s existence and decided to take things into his own hands.

So there’s an extra moon in the daycare, one “raised” by the Creator, and he’s treated well and all but is he really wanted there? It certainly doesn’t feel like it. At a point after the multidimensional event happens they’d have a breakdown over their identity, they aren’t needed, they aren’t Moon, then who are they?

One thing I feel the need to share with y’all about this is that Dusk would be watching all the drama in the dimension go down like the soap opera it is, and at the point of Nexus’s breakdown he’d just be staring at the lunar model while eating fries. It’s all entertainment for him

[Nexus’s blurry dialogue reads: You know nothing of what I’m trying to do, of what I’m going through. So stop acting as if you cared about him, we both know you didn’t. Now you’re going to stay put in your cell until I’ve got this all ready. And then you’ll finally do some good with that pathetic life of yours]

And, of course, the longest one is for Bloody and Harvest, why wouldn’t it?

Solar’s death was not only extremely unexpected, but it was also extremely hard hitting for everyone. Bloodmoon kinda just “accepted” it after a while. Solar is gone, they will never see him again, there’s nothing to do about it. They avoid the subject as much as they can besides that. Until Nexus kidnaps them. He has a plan to bring Solar back using them as a sacrifice. And this greatly upsets them. They see no point to it, moreover they reason that Nexus is just blinded by grief, so they attempt to talk to the bot.

It does not go well.

They still managed to escape the situation however, carrying weapons around turning out to be useful for once. Bloody is lowkey kinda mad they actually had to use the taser gun though. They leave Nexus locked up in that place and go tell the Daycare idiots what just happened, and then they take a really long vacation far away from that place, maybe go to some mountains or something. Would Nexus track them again? I’d like to think not.

Tho the saddest thing about this that I thought of was the fact that had Nexus not kidnapped them and actually explained the plan, Bloodmoon might have considered it.

I had a lot of fun with this ngl, feel free to leave your thoughts, I’d love to hear y’all screaming at me over the emotional heartache I’m causing :D

What if Bloodmoon didn’t know about Moon dying and New Moon being a thing?

They were just given a few of First Bloodmoon’s memories, and I doubt The Bastard would’ve cared enough to give them any more context than that Eclipse died

So then when they go through the channel to see what their life used to be like before death they’d stumble upon Old Moon and Sun’s relationship, which would give them a pretty bad view of Nem cuz family is sacred for them and all that, which would make them be hostile and highly critical of Nem whenever they stumble upon one another

WHICH THEN could set up a future interaction where the twins learn that Nem isn’t Moon and thus their mentality shifts and now they’re slightly friendlier to Nem and can relate to them in the ‘trying to live up to someone else’s expectations’ thing, and because they ‘are a disappointment to the Bloodmoon name’ they would straight up be like:

“yeah trying to be like someone else sucks, you can’t and every unsuccessful attempt just makes you feel like shit, so like, don’t”

WHICH THEN COULD UNINTENTIONALLY LEAD TO A POSITIVE NEXUS ARC

Split Ruin

Okay so this is my first time ever making an actual au that isn’t just my own version of stuff, I’d like to think in this au number 1, ruin isn’t evil, number 2, it started some point between Solar coming to the original dimension and Nexus becoming Evil, also Nexus isn’t evil in this au bc I really don’t like that whole arc. But basically the stitchwraith kidnapped Ruin, And split the sun and moon in them apart (you can tell I had difficulties figuring out a way for him to split) and basically like, Ruin!Sun and Ruin!Moon are freaking out, because it isn’t right they aren’t supposed to be apart why is it that now when one looks back in their mindscape the other isn’t there, it’s lonely and scary. So everyone is trying to figure out how to combine them back together and it’s just angsty and sad. I am honestly open to nearly all ships due to the fact my aro-ace ass simply doesn't require them to live BUT I do have few that either sparks my interest or i think they work pretty well :3 I also go by the logic they are robots and relationships cannot be really compared to humans. Earth x Eclipse - I don't what it is with Earth cracking the harshest personalities but my god, Eclipse v4 warming up to her to the point of tolerating was a feat and sparks immense joy. Allowing Earth to hug him and hang out? Chat? Feel loved? Absolutely precious. Earth respects his boundaries and at the same time Eclipse appreciates her embracing his persona. It's just such a good premise for a slightly odd but good couple. I love it. Sun x Eclipse (many versions) - Canon divergence with Sun and Eclipse working it out? YES. Solar and his original Sun? My god please yes. Oh, what's his? Lord Eclipse and his Servant Sun? Mhm mhm yes. Excellent. So many potentials. So many ways to roll with the ship. Can be loving or spicy or unhealthy. So many choices. Nexus x Solar - do I even have to explain. I think many feels similar about this one. Nexus as new moon found his Sun, even if that Sun is eclipsed. Solar desperately needed someone to love and appreciate him. I am both friend shipping them and shipping, both works for me beautifully.

Sun x Moon - ho boi a controversial one but hey, what is the multiverse for if not ship anything you want (especially since it was even confirmed in canon that romantic DCAs are as normal and common as brotherly bonds or coworkers or absolutely hating each other). They are AIs inhibiting robotic bodies. They are synthetic beings and their understanding of bonds are different than the ones of a biological critters. They are a bundle of codes that try to understand the convoluted partnerships and roles among each other. Protective Moon and caring Sun may decide their bond is on the romantic spectrum. Cos who knows Sun better than their Moon? What is Moon without their Sun? :) Those would be the ones that stick to my brain. Thank you for making the small sharing time! I think that Eclipse deserves something nice. And maybe Earth could be that something nice, in the right circumstances.

They're literally my first ship (just normal SunChips) in this fandom and ough. Ough. I literally never even considered the idea of shipping the sillies until I found out that this fandom has a fucking ao3 tag. I was still mostly in the UTMV fandom when I started watching TSAMS, and my poor fandom then was burning while I was slowly jumping ship.

I think they're sweet. I don't see them as romantic myself, but I support those who do. They remind me of the relationship my brother had with his best friend.

I think the fandom is slowly getting over their whole general "every sun and moon HAS to be related and platonic" since we have people hardcore shipping Helios (dark sun) and Nexus. Not to mention the AU Sun and Moon in DoctorF's fic, Sunlo and Moonlit. They're cute. I don't see why we can't have TSAMS AUs where the dynamics are different when it's generally acceptable to ship SolarMoon as an AU. Idk maybe I'm biased, I've been shipping Sun and Moon (in general) since like immediately when Security Breach came out. I took one look at them and went "oh yes they are so fucking gay". And jadkl;fsjads it was such a lonely time when I didn't know anyone else who shipped them.

As I've already said before, I see TSAMS as just one DCA au amongst many DCA aus. Do whatever the fuck you want bro.
