Second place is absolutely winning; we’re not like the Soviet Union where if you place second you get disappeared or whatever.

Biograft on the Splatoon drawbox!

WOOHOO I cooked this up in about 6 and a half hours! Really happy with the result honestly + I learned a bunch about stuff like midtones and such! Hyperlaser is gonna be next once I figure out how to bypass his phinisher dialogue/when I get some other projects done!

sooo we have another turtle/character to add to the collection~

I have a lot to say on him. . . so slash is interesting to say the least in cannon he’s either a Tortoise, Box turtle, or Diamond back terrapin, which will be brought up in a moment,

so with spike. . . . Slash I made him resemble Raph because he was mutated with Raphs DNA, I like to think because he was mutated with Raphs DNA he’s technically related to them, making him their older brother,

I like to think because it was a mutant turtles DNA he was mutated with and not a humans he’s a lot more ‘feral’ for that reason he doesn’t have as much human DNA to dilute his instincts as much, which is why he growls so much and also why he makes so many other sounds, why he may have a better since of smell? Part of why he was so aggressive and also why he’s so big Compared to the others (Note: he’s that big because of the Snapper DNA he has)

This actually works a lot for my re-design things, and helps him being related to the turtles because after he's muted he looks a lot like a Snapping turtle (in cannon which is odd) so it works really well here because Raph (& Leo) is part Snapper! Seriously he took literally Every snapper gene Raph had to give. . . . weather he had been a Tortoise, Box-turtle, or even Diamond back terrapin, it was overridden by the aligator Snapper-

he’s got the teeth/three sets of fangs, sharp beak as well, long tail, spikes all over including his fists, shoulders and elbows all like Raph,(more on that in a moment) Slash’s shell also had spikes tho some of them where supposed to be pyramiding, which he got in between S2 E7: Slash and destroy, and S2 E17: Newtralized, due to his mutation, change in environment and what he was eating afterwards, he ended up getting this (tho this detail isn’t noticeable at all, but it Was Ment to be there)

tracking back to the spikes, their from Aligator Snapper DNA and also the mutation in a way, the spikes on his tail, head, shoulder, knees, elbow, and hands, (is that all?) are all different compared to Raph (& Leo) their much sharper and almost like straight bone, instead of bone and thick skin (Which is why their colored that way with the fade, the mutation)

Additional details are his accessories with his ¿shorts? Matching Raph’s but with teal instead, and his Red arm band matching Raph as well, (it was a gift from Raph after S2 E17) theres also his mask which has a teal fade and specks, his pink arm band is actually a nod to his old play-mates toy/his older designs. (also his belt symbol it the Hamato crest)

his specks aren’t as full as Raphs and more like Leo’s where their fewer but their in specific areas, specifically around his spikes, which speaking of! I love how I colored them! They look so pretty! And the colors are beautiful together!~ I can’t get over how nice it is!

he’s 6’1” and I like to think he’s about 19-20 as a mutated turtle, this is because he was an adult turtle by the time he was mutated, and not a baby turtle like the others.

I didn’t have to much trouble drawing him, the only real problem was figuring out how to place his leg, but I think it was mainly just coloring him, example you can actually see his pink arm band change shades because it didn’t go well with the rest of his color pallet, I generally had a lot of trouble with the color pallet, you can actually see this on the pictures because there’s So many shades of green sitting there.

also as you can see with the first picture some things where missing, like his tail and his shell coloring, those things a drew on the fly (hehe) wall writing this so their not the best examples, also I have no idea if I missed something or didn’t elaborate properly Apologies

I can’t think of any more characters I have to do so any ideas? (Originally drawn June 8th, added on to June 23rd)

If we count when I started focusing on her as a teen, 5 months 😭. I really though I’d be on gen 3 by now LMAO.

I never really planned for this legacy to evolve into a story kinda thing. But I have always played with sims with storylines, even when I wasn’t sharing with anyone.

Im just having a-lot of fun developing her as a character and her life. It’s probably because I am a vivid daydreamer, and being able to recreate the ideas I have for her has just kept me so entertained.

day 8: night

tw: nightmares, references to conversion therapy, reference to Luther's actions towards Andrew

Nicky woke with a gasp and a choked off breath. He could still feel the Bible beneath his hands, still hear the names they called him, still feel the guilt in his chest.

But it was dark, in the dorm. Not back there— never back there again. He was crying, he knew, and a sob tried to escape him. Nicky pressed his comforter to his mouth, trying not to wake anyone.

He just needed to ride it out. Calm down and get his breathing back under control. Nicky wouldn't go to sleep again tonight, but he could wait until the morning.

Staring at the fire alarm above the door, he counted the flashes of red light. It was a useless thing, he would've suspected Andrew had taken the batteries out if he hadn't seen a bunch of other people around Fox Tower smoking in their rooms without detection.

Nicky had never thought his parents would send him to conversion therapy when he came out. He'd known, deep down, that they wouldn't react well. But he'd thought maybe they'd get over it, calm down over time and eventually he could introduce them to his boyfriend.

Instead, they'd freaked out. Maria had locked herself away and cried for days. Nicky had heard it through the walls, her absence a gaping hole around the house. Luther hadn't spoken to him until a few nights later, shipping him off to the camp without blinking.

There'd been a few kids at church who had disappeared. Usually the naughty ones, the ones that spoke back too often, the firestarters. They'd come back quiet, haunted. Nicky never paid it much mind, and he certainly hadn't thought his father had anything to do with it.

Nicky should have known better than to underestimate Luther. He definitely did now. He didn't often think of the twins as kids, let alone his. But when he'd found out what Luther had done to Andrew…

It made him sick. He could still remember how small Andrew and Aaron looked when they'd first met. It was worse when he thought about how young Nicky himself was when he got sent off.

Another sob wracked through Nicky, and he knew this wasn't working. Bringing the comforter and his phone with him, he stood on unsteady legs and went into the other room. Just those few steps left him ready to collapse, head cloudy and hands shaking.

The phone was to his ear before he'd even registered that he'd sat down.

"Nicky?" A deep voice asked.

He breathed a sigh of relief, the first one to get through his laboured pants, "Erik."

"Liebling, what's wrong?"

"Alptraum."

"Do you want a distraction?" Erik asked, well familiar with how to calm his partner down. Nicky made a small noise of confirmation, and Erik's voice filtered through the line.

The couple didn't often speak in English, but Erik likely knew Nicky was too out of it to follow German. Just the thought of his care sent Nicky's heart singing. He listened to Erik's story, something about his mother and a trip to Antwerp, and lost himself in the words. Slowly, his breathing started to even out, leaving him only tired.

"Danke." Nicky whispered, when they reached a lull in the conversation.

"You know I would do this for you any time." Erik replied. And Nicky did. He knew Erik would stand beside him through anything.

A creaking sound drew Nicky's attention to the front door opening. Andrew and Neil walked in, the smell of smoke permeating the air even from this far away.

With the flick of a switch, Nicky lost his sombre attitude and let a playful smile slip over his face. "Up to no good, are we?"

Andrew stopped, Neil hovering behind him, and studied Nicky. He knew what he looked like; blotchy cheeks, huddled in his comforter with his phone clutched to his ear. Andrew watched just long enough for Nicky to know he saw right through him, then replied, "Always."

Nicky let his smile stretch a little wider, "Well, don't let me stop you."

"We could always use a look out, if you're free." Andrew said and, this time, Nicky let a real smile take over. He'd gotten more fluent in Andrew-speak in the last year. He was offering company, something for Nicky to do to take his mind off things.

"Maybe next time. Erik's keeping me up tonight." Nicky tried for suggestive, but he was sure both Neil and Andrew could see through it. As long as they didn't call him out on it, he didn't care.

The pair returned to the bedroom, Andrew knocking twice on the door as they crossed through. Nicky's attention fell back to Erik, "Where were we?"
