This is me. Or well at least it’s the lower part of my body. I’m a 24-year-old Theology Student from Germany. I always dreamt of having my own blog, but my lack of self-confidence kept me from realizing it... as did the missing concept. 

But now I think I know what path I want to follow (for now, because nothing is permanent nowadays...): This will be my space for being an aspiring academic who is dedicated to an aesthetic that’s long gone... somewhere between dark and light academia and cozy vintage aesthetic.

Hello, im elif. This is my first tumblr experince and im super exciting! Im a 22 years old college student. My main major is history, double major is sociology and double minor is philosophy. In brief, im a social sciences nerd! 🤡 without any reason, taking photos of my desk gives me pleasure and i always wanted to share my desk with people. Now it is time... im beggining ✨

I am the grumpiest human

So I’m having a bad day. I also had a bad day yesterday. I’m so grumpy and on edge and just miserable. So, to change my mind set, I’m trying to focus on the postive, soni’m gonna share my latest accomplishment at the gym:

I worked a “pull day” at the gym the other day, and did my first real deadlifts ever. I have no idea what a normal deadlift weight is, but I’m 4’9”, 121lbs, and surprised my trainer with my ability to do 3 sets of 5 reps of 95lb dead lifts. And HOLY MOLY do dead lifts work your butt and back because this was on Monday morning and now it’s Wednesday night and I’m still SO sore. Like insanely sore. It’s unreal, but not in like an injury way, but in a progress way. A good sore! Anyway, I’m proud of my work, and hopefully sharing it and getting positive feed back will help me shake my grumpy funk. Happy lifting!

Today, our school is following an old Jesuit tradition called Schola Brevis, a Latin term for brief school. I was able to meet my new classmates and class moderator and review our school’s rules and regulations which is helpful in helping us survive the school year and be able to graduate.

By the way, I AM ADS! It’s good to be back here in tumblr. Adios!

tumblr -> simblr. Has to mean that the simblr is the person behind the page! Or is it then the tumblr that's the page... so it's the page that is the simblr? 😯 *10-20 mins goes by* OMG NEWBLR!! That has to be a thing!!! And it is! But then in no time I am back to the "is it the page or the person"-brainbreaking mystery 😅

Hey so you know the censorship nightmare going on right now with Tumblr banning pretty much every single tag?

What would happen if we just. All packed up our stuff and migrated to a new site.

Treat it exactly the same as Tumblr.

Idk if this would work.

An Introduction

Hello Tumblr. 

I’m Calarel and I created this space to note down more academic-based opinion pieces. It is just a space for me to increase my writing ability and hopefully talk about matters that are important to me.
