I just started replaying DAO after fighting Origin for over an hour, giving up, and buying a cd drive for my laptop so I can use my original copy. And then cursed up a storm as I had to track down the files for the DLCs that I own but apparently EA doesn't think I should have access to anymore. They were hidden on EA's own site. Some of them didn't work. I am filled with nothing but rage over this bs.

But probably not as much rage as your average Mahariel feels going through the bs that is their origin story. I'd even forgotten the state of the female leather armor after all these years of refusing to draw it.

Over at Patreon and society6 our armor covers our entire chest, because safety comes first.

I hate copyright laws in relation to big companies soo much. It's a pathetic predatory market made to keep the means of poduction in the hands of few.

That's to say that the company responsable for Peppa Pig is processing an old lady (who didn't even had high education nor new about copyright law to begin with) because she sold in her handmade Peppa things in her small inline store (that she made to sustain herself after losing her job). They are suing her for 20 thousand reais wich means nothing monetarialy for them but will financially break this woman forever, she'll likely never be abble to pay this up. And like you can't seriusly convince me, that a brazilian old lady with her small store that only got kinda famous besides very very locally because of the lawsuit represented ANY actual loss to the company. They do this stuff because they can, because it helps to scare other small irrelevant local shops and so upheld the system, because fucks over the artisan class.

She already had to pay 5 thousand reais because of "hedonic damage" and while hopefully not the 20 thousand she was ruled guilty and a "threat to the company" (the justicy system is a joke).

ive never gone to see an opera live in europe let alone one outside of a major theater that regularly records and broadcasts their productions so grain of salt etc but i think there's some kind of distinct cultural difference between how european companies do "reimagined" productions of operas vs how american companies do it

the erichius ghosts are creations of the moon's resident horror as a defensive measure! they're scary projections generated by the horror that lock onto anyone with erichius on them to scare them away from the moon or kill them via draining their energy and intense radiation exposure. erichikin at base are pretty radioactive and the horrors are no different, and they compensate for their immobility by using projections (and if that doesn't work, the many erichikin that live around them to defend them).

since it's a projection they can't truly be destroyed, which is why if you manage to "kill" one it doesn't drop anything and another one is quick to show up. they're created from vibrational frequencies from the crystal, so the average chump mining on a moon couldn't do anything about them. large-scale mining companies however have this figured out and probably have a counter frequency in place to effectively neutralize them
