I'm gonna start the year off by sharing my first big Sam\Daniel project ever in the fandom, written in November 2021. I'll be scarce for a while thanks to an EDS subluxation of my wrist. Even this is causing a lot of pain. 🥺🫠 Anyway...

Set S8-ish AU. Jack forces Sam and Daniel to take a vacation, an extended one. These nerds get mad at him and decide to go on a road trip. Sam finds out just how far Daniel's kindness reaches and Daniel discovers that Sam is incredibly different once she relaxes. Jack says photos or it didn't happen, a demand he regrets.

And note - the last time we see him dressing like Ivo is when he's watching Jimmy's livestream of the Superman v. Ivo fight in the city. And Lex acts dismissive and annoyed at the pro-Superman talk, but the next time we see him he's literally dressing like Jimmy.

and then he shows up to a goddamn formal debate, where Jimmy is wearing a fancy lil suit, and Lex is still just in an outfit based on Jimmy

I wish they included this in the show cause it’s just so great. Look at the difference in how Gothel and Arianna treat Rapunzel’s hair. Look how Gothel almost worships it and focuses on it for herself while Arianna uses the hair as a comedy prop to make Rapunzel laugh

Stan and Ford being off the internet on their sailing trip works out for both of them. For Ford, it lets him avoid new technology and enjoy his old study methods of physical books & journals. For Stan, it means he and his brother can more easily put off resolving the whole fake ID thing.

I imagine they have to get very creative when authorities ask for proof of identity...

I also imagine that, upon discovering online databases (and the sheer amount of scholarly research they hold), Ford goes absolutely WILD
