“SAHAHAHAP! NOHOHOHOT THEHEHERE!” Quackity squealed as he buried his face into the cushions of the couch. Sapnap’s fingers had found purchase on Quackity’s gorgeous, golden wings. Of course Quackity hadn’t said the safeword yet, which was ‘gold’, easy to remember and easy to say if needed. Sapnap smiled and scribbled his fingers into the base of Quackity’s wings. The beanie clad man screeched as the fingers clawed softly at the skin beneath the feathers. Quackity’s laughter soon turned into soft giggles as he’d asked for Sapnap to slow down. Now the fingers only lightly traced at the wings, just enough pressure to keep him giggling and melted. Sapnap smiled, “You enjoying yourself, Ducky?~” And his heart melted as Quackity nodded.

On AO3? Right now 63, soon to be 64(tomorrow probably) and a couple on FF.net

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

1,020,860 on AO3 plus another ~86K fic I never ported over to AO3, as my 'recent' stuff, starting back in 2021

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Mostly Miraculous Ladybug, I did others a long time ago before joining AO3, but that was a long time ago. I've considered a couple others recently too, but nothing yet.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

At The Gala- A Chlonette fic inspired by fanart, and actually the sequel to my #2 by Kudos. This is just a cute series of strange interactions with Chloe from Marinette's PoV, culminating in understanding and discovery on a fated evening.

Slippery slope- Little Chlonette ficlet inspired by a fanart. Very short, it's about how a single unexpected moment can change someone's entire world.

Ever After- A long chapter fic set more than a decade post-canon that looks into the idea that 'Ever After' can be a long time, and that expecting life to be solved at 14 is a recipe for eventual disaster. Yet at the same time life continues to offer new experiences, new possibilities, and new ways to grow. Ships include Adrienette, Chloadrien, and Felinette.

Showing Love- An alternate ending to Queen Wasp, where instead of reuniting Chloé with her horrible mother by highlighting everything horrible about her (seriously, what?) Marinette comes face to face with the reality that a mother really *can* not love a child. Being Marinette she can't let such a thing stand, even if it is Chloé. Marinette&Dupain-Cheng family goodness.

What Do you See?- Adrigami fic that kicks off right in the middle of Kuro Neko. While Adrien is struggling with the pain of giving up Cat Noir, one thing crosses his mind. He can finally give one important person the truth she deserves. After all, he *Was* Cat Noir, not *is*. The two both struggle to navigate the ramifications of this revelation, especially when Plagg shows up once more with the ring. (there's a little bit of eventual Lukanette)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to respond to most, especially any questions or curiosities. I love engagement.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh heck this is so not fair. I am in love with bittersweet ending, and have a couple of doozies.

I can't decide between three.

What Happened- The 'real reason' Chloé Bourgeois's redemption arc failed. What do you di when you do everything right, only to find out your happiness causes the end of the world, in every timeline?

A Modest Proposal- Marinette is happily impatient for Adrien to finally propose to her. Little does she know, a secret long kept is going to come back to haunt her. It's worse than you think.

The Risk Outweighs- A look into someone else's life during the episode 'Risk'. The courage to do anything finally gives Chloé the strength to break from the cycle. But the Ladybugs must set things right, and a few moments of clarity weigh nothing against a lifetime.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Again, lots with happy endings, though I prefer 'open' endings, so...hmmm

Cafe Noir- has an unambiguously happy ending, but I specifically set out to write a romcom so that feels like cheating.

Dog Daze- probably has the most comprehensively happy ending, Adrien's dad even managed to try to parent. They do go through a lot on the way to the happy ending though.

In Direct Opposition- My latest work, seems to end on a solidly happy note for all involved.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Ever After drew some upset people that expected their OTP to be the main ship. I never tried to deceive anyone, but a few people were just really upset.

I also had this weird thing where someone thought I was someone else, and stalked my comments for a while. That's why I use moderation now.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I've done M rated fics. I'm not sure 'smut' works for them, even if there's lots of sex narratively, it's usually mentioned rather than being detailed. I did one single 'this will be a smut fic' fic. And even that ended up with like, 5K words mostly plot, and about 2 paragraphs of (I think emotional and important) sex.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Nah, I've never had the crossover itch. I generally find each world intriguing enough on their own.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of...

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yep! I had someone ask if they could translate one of my fics to Russian.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope. Talked about it before, but never went through with it. Not against the idea. I do a lot of rubber ducking for my friends though, so some of my ideas can end up in their finished fics.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

I'm going ot have to go with adribrina, my goobers. I like exploring all kinds of ships, and these two I threw together on a whim but Oh, they're so comfy! I wrote Puppy Love to see how they would work, and then that evolved into Dog Daze, my Largest work to date. I had *intended* for them to amicably break up and Sabrina to be a wing-woman to Adrien in the canon ship of Adrienette.... but they just did not want to break up. Even if they wouldn't admit they were dating, they were just too *comfy* together. These two make me happy. (Marinette ended up okay though, she's happy!)

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

A third fic in my Senti-Sentai AU. 'Worlds Collide'. It was set in 'vague eastern Europe country in the middle of violent conflict' and then that suddenly got too real, too quickly.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Character voice. I write third person limited, and I've been told many times that I do a very good job of writing characters as their canonical selves, just in different situations that bring about different outcomes or changes in them. I consider that a high compliment, because the characters are what I am here for.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Brevity. Even simplistic plots 'enemies to friends road trip' become detailed 'Marinette manipulates Chloé into chasing Adien and Lila across the globe to prevent Lila from wheedling an arranged Marriage out of Gabriel' and then that blossoms into a 98K fic.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I feel like my last of understanding grammar and colloquialisms for another language would have me sounding like bad google translate. Singular words used? Viable.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

SWATKats. My first ever fanfic was a 30K fic about that show.

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

They are all my babies! This is so not fair. I've spoken about some of my favorites earlier though, so I'll use this spot to mention some other ones :)

He's Perfect- Gothic Horror Adrienette! It even has a sequel and an entire AU in my head if I can circle back.

The Orphan and the Marionette- Written to feel like one of Grimm's fairy tales. Chlonette(kind of) with a heavy dose of magic and a surprise appearance from Marianne.

There are so many more but I'll plug Dog Daze again, because I to like how it flows and the alternate S5 we get from it. It also inspired a raft of 'post story' one shots, and I have another chapter fic waiting in the wings to continue the AU. There's plenty of stories to tell here.

Post-reveal, established ship, in his University years Adrien decided to grow out his hair after Marinette asked him to help model her growing portfolio.

He's doing it in part just to get her to call him Cat Walker again. Not quite looking as Gabriel-polished is just an added bonus.

Stubbornly, Marinette refused to mention the punny name, even after months and months of growing out his hair.

Finally, Adrien had enough. Wearing the best all black suit that still fit, he set up dinner for them both out on the balcony of his apartment under the moonlight.

Marinette’s pretty pout only confirmed she totally knew what he was up to, though she still wouldn't give in.

It was only after the meal has ended, when she rose up onto her tiptoes and entangled her fingers in his short ponytail. Her fingertips ghosting over the back of his neck and gently nudging his lips down to meet hers...

Well, that was just reassurance — between the puns and the somewhat messy memories — neither of them minded so much anymore.

Not as long as they were still there together.

for a human au where the bois have cats, i headcanon alfred's cat is super loving and playful, loves to be carried but is too damn fat (not overwight just a big ass mainecoon). gets sad when put down. arthur's cat is super picky about people and swipes at every1. if he likes u enough MAYBE u will be blessed by having your organs crushed under little paws while trying to sit or sleep. loafs on u but try to pet and u WILL get bit. arthur is the only 1 who can actually pick up and hold him

I took some liberties, anon, I hope you don’t mind.

Alfred F. Jones is in the kitchen, prepping his lunch, when he hears the distinctive sound of his cat, Crumpet, meowing in the isolation room. He had only put the little ball of fluff with folded ears in there less than half an hour ago and the white and orange Scottish fold would never cry like that while getting to know a new foster animal.

Alfred wipes his hands on a dish towel and treads carefully toward the room. Crumpet’s meowing is decidedly frantic and now Alfred can also hear the scared whimpering of the older pitbull in there with him.

“Okay buddy, I’m comin’,” Alfred says, carefully nudging open the door. He doesn’t want to upset the dog any further since his task is to see if he can rehabilitate the animal after a life of abuse. Alfred is indispensible to the local shelter in this role and Crumpet is an integral part of getting frightened or anxious animals to trust him.

Crumpet himself was one of Alfred’s fosters and Alfred had fallen in love with the skiddish, little cat with such severe, grumpy-looking face markings. Crumpet’s history of abuse and neglect had broken Alfred’s heart and he had tried his best, but he knew Crumpet would probably not do as well a typical home. So Alfred kept him. He is still incredibly shy around humans, but he works wonders with other animals and he is completely bonded with Alfred.

Alfred enters the room to find the dog hiding behind the large armchair he has placed in there and Crumpet looking back at him and then meowing loudly at the window. Alfred had left the blinds drawn to let in the afternoon sun, but he can see now why that was a mistake.

“Oh jeez,” he says, shaking his head at the absolutely massive white and brown Maine Coon cat perched on a tree branch, staring intently at Crumpet. “Crumpet, buddy, it’s just a cat.” He closes the blinds and pets Crumpet soothingly until the little orange fluff trots over to the nervous pup. He slips out of the room on tip toe and heads out the front door to try and find the other cat.

What captures his immediate attention is the moving truck across the street. Ah. That explains the new face.

A loud, vibrato “mrrrow” resonates from somewhere near his knees. 

Alfred laughs and shakes his head. “Aren’t you a charmer?” he says, extending his hand, which is head-bumped, and scratching the cat’s chin. “Not even been here a whole day and you already own the place.”

“Mrrrrow!”

Alfred picks the cat up and inspects him; he appears to be in good health, very well taken care of--pampered even, but he has no collar. “Not an outdoor kitty, I see. That’s good, you’d be a total menace to the birds around here. You’ve already set your sights on Crumpet though, right?”

“Hero!” A man, about Alfred’s age, comes running toward them, looking anxious and terrified with tears in his eyes. “Dear god, thank you! Where did you find him?” He has gorgeous green eyes and a thick British accent.

“He was in my tree,” Alfred says, passing the massive cat into the Brit’s arms and he looks almost comically huge against the man’s slight frame. “He found a good spot to spy on my cat, it would seem.”

“I’m so sorry. He normally isn’t even allowed outside without a lead, but with all the chaos of moving, well,” the man laughs a little, “I suppose he saw his chance and took it. Hero, you can’t do that. I’m Arthur, by the way,” he says, awkwardly shifting the cat, Hero, to reach out his hand.

“I’m Alfred,” he says, shaking Arthur’s hand and trying not to swoon at how cute he is. “It’s not a big deal, it’s just I do foster parenting for the local shelter and he spooked my cat and the dog I’m currently working with.”

“I really am sorry,” Arthur says, flustered, “I promise it won’t happen again. He’s only allowed outside for walks on his leash.”

Alfred grins at him. “Hey, that’s okay. No harm done. He’s just mojito cat, he’s gotta be friends with everyone.”

Arthur laughs. “You’re right about that. I got him as a kitten and we’ve always been inseparable. When I take him on walks, he helps me to--ah, let’s just say he’s quite a good conversation starter. Clearly.”

Alfred reaches out and scratches Hero between his ears. “I have no doubt. Listen, I was in the middle of making lunch. How about you and your family or partner or whoever take a break from moving and have some?” He hopes it doesn’t sound too much like he’s fishing for information even though he is.

“Ah, no family or partner,” Arthur says. “It’s just Hero and I. But won’t we disturb your cat?”

Alfred beams. “Nah, I think Crumpet and Hero are gonna get along great.”

Titus/Nyx -cat/Neko au

Titus all but slammed the apartment door behind him, his mood foul from the last minute meeting he had been forced to endure with Cor, Clarus and Regis. More political bullshit regarding Titus and the Kingsglaive. Apparently some of the nobles of Insomnia were beginning to express their doubts that Titus was an effective commander and, by extension, the Kingsglaive were no longer an effective army.Yanking off his coat, Titus all but tossed it on the hook by the door as he kicked his boots off, not caring in that moment about keeping things neat and tidy.All he wanted was a good, strong drink and to wrap himself around the warm, soft body waiting for him.He was heading for the kitchen to grab the bottle of whiskey but, as he passed the living room doorway, he fell still, staring at the sight before him.

Nyx was sprawled out on the couch, sleeping, no doubt having dozed off while waiting for Titus to get home from that Astrals be damned meeting, and Titus felt his heart lurch at the beautiful sight of his young Galahdian lover.Nyx lay on his belly, head resting on a pillow, wearing an old, faded pair of sweat pants and one of Titus’ t-shirts, which was far too big on his lean frame. He looked relaxed and peaceful but what brought a smile to Titus’ face was that the younger man had been comfortable enough to not keep his ears and tail hidden as he typically did even in their shared apartment.As a refugee turned soldier, Nyx was already looked down on by the citizens of Insomnia, no matter that he risked his life everyday for theirs, but if those same snobs learned that Nyx was also a Neko he would never know a moments peace. Many viewed Nekos as ill omens or demons or something equally ridiculous.With a smile, Titus crossed the room, watching how Nyx’ ear, velvety soft and the same dark color as the young Galahdian’s hair, twitched, and knelt next to the couch, reaching out and run his fingers lightly through Nyx’ hair. He rubbed his thumb over one of Nyx’ ears, feeling it twitch, seeing how that dark tail, sleek as the black blade of Nyx’ kukri, flicked up over Nyx’ hip and his smile widened.Titus still counted himself the luckiest man in the world that Nyx, sweet and compassionate and fearless man that he was, had chosen him. Had chosen to love him. To want to build a life with him.A soft murmur, Nyx stirring to wakefulness, caused Titus to chuckle softly as those beautiful blue eyes blinked open sleepily.“Hey, beautiful,” he murmured, fingers still running through Nyx’ hair, over those adorable ears, making Nyx shift slightly, pressing up into the touch with a quiet purr.“Hey yourself,” Nyx grumbled around a yawn. “What time is it?”“Late,” Titus admitted, hating that his duties often kept him from the man he loved for such long periods of time. “Meeting took too long.”Nyx hummed and stretched, back popping softly, and, with all the grace of a cat, he slipped from the couch, pushing Titus back so the large man was sitting on the floor, crawling into his lap and tucking himself against his chest.“It’s fine,” Nyx murmured, nuzzling at Titus’ neck, wrapping his arms around the bigger man. “Just…” He yawned as Titus’ arms wrapped tightly, protectively, around him. “Take me to bed, yeah?”Titus chuckled and stood, easily lifting Nyx’ weight as though the younger man weighed nothing at all, his smile widening as the Galahdian’s tail, softer than silk, curled around his wrist like a fuzzy bracelet. Carrying Nyx to the bedroom, Titus pressed a kiss to the younger man’s dark hair, some of his earlier tensions finally melting away.

“Why do I not believe you?” came the subsequent reply, Haru poking her head out from the kitchen. Baron paused in putting up his coat, taking the moment to smile at her.

“Are you calling me a liar, Miss Haru?”

“I’m calling you something, that’s for sure.”

Laughter rang out, echoing through the cozy living room and into the kitchen where Haru fiddled. She cut out a larger piece of cake and reached for the cups hanging above. Baron came in, resting a hand on her shoulder as he passed her the cups. Haru pouted for a moment, reaching for the tea kettle instead.

“I could have gotten those. And you still haven’t told me why you’re here.”

“I’m happy to get these for you, Haru. I know it’s a strain for you.” He fiddled with the upper cupboards, pulling down biscuit tins and herbs. “Also, I told you exactly why I’m here. No. Reason.”

Silence falls between them, Haru continuing with her task. Tea, biscuits, cups, plates. She refused to look at Baron, tracing a finger around the rim of a tea cup. She couldn’t the seconds it took for Baron to come up with an answer, ready to turn and call his… Balderdash out.

His hands touched her shoulders, leaning down by her ear, voice warm as he quietly asked, “Do you really want to know why I came to visit, Haru?”

She… Froze, for lack of a better word, heat flushing through her cheeks. She turned to face him, but he was already pulling away. His cheeks were the same shade as hers, though he tried to cover it with a fake cough into his hand. She stared at him for moments, waiting near expectantly.

“I… I came to visit because I wanted to see you.”

“That’s the truth?”

“God honest.”

Haru was quiet for another moment, a grin creeping across her face.

“That wasn’t so hard, was it?”

“GO AWAHAY SAPNAP!” Dream screamed, sprinting at full speed away from Sapnap. “YOU LOST, IT’S ONLY FAIR!” Sapnap yelled back, finally tackling Dream to the ground. He didn’t waste any time as he immediately dug his fingers into Dream’s sides. The green hoodie clad man shrieked and immediately burst into loud giggles, “SAHAHAHAP! WAHAHAHAIT NOHOHOHOHO!” He tried to turn on his side, but then Sapnap just took advantage of that and dug his fingers into the newly exposed hyper sensitive tummy. Dream squealed immediately dropping completely to the floor, “NAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHEHERE! NONONOHOHOHO MEHEHEHEAN!”

Dream then let out another loud squeal as Sapnap had hiked up his hoodie and shirt and blew a large raspberry right over his belly button. “NONONOHOHOHOHO RAHAHAHASPBEHEHERRIES AHAHAHARE CHEHEHEATING- NOHOHOHO NOHOHOHOT AHAHANOHOHOTHER OHOHOHONE!” Sapnap didn’t stop until Dream was breathless and called out the safeword. He earned a lot of sweet after care after that. Both the men couldn’t lie, they loved these moments.

Like, really, really didn’t have time.

She leant over the armrest of her newly acquired throne and scowled at the prince who had put her there. “You know, it would save us all a lot of time and trouble if you just returned me back to my world now.”

“But why would I do that,” the prince asked, “after all the effort I went to to attain such a lovely bride?”

“You should do that because this lovely bride has friends who aren’t afraid to kick even royal asses who kidnap people.”

“Kidnap is such a strong word…”

“Steal. Capture. Imprison. Trap. Which of these words do you prefer, Your Highness?” Really, Haru thought, Baron was beginning to rub off on her. Although the people he swept off his feet didn’t usually resort to kidnapping him to get his attention. 

She supposed she was just that lucky.

Sailing around the world,

Yuuji swallows the chunk of cake with an exaggerated gulp and scoops up some frosting with his finger.

“Please know that I’m yours to keep, my beautiful girl.” He sings slightly out-of-tune, but it sounded wonderful to her. With his signature smile, he plops the dollop of frosting onto her nose. He was so cute; it was impossible for her not to blush.

“Yuu—” she starts but is hushed by his lips pressing against her own. The kiss was brief—just a sweet little peck.

“C’mere, I’ll clean you up.” he says, sticking out his tongue and moving towards her nose. She sticks a leg out and puts her foot to his chest to keep him away.

“What are you, a cat?” she giggles as he struggles against her foot. He wiggles his tongue playfully at her. “Keep your distance, Neko-dori!”

Before she can process it, her chair is teetering backwards. Yuuji’s reaction time is impeccable though, reaching towards her and pulling her close before she falls. He grins down at her smugly before lapping at her nose.
