The Necromundan 90th Light Infantry is home on leave and ready to party.

An Orlock gang kitbashed with old cadian minis after I attended a learn to play Necromunda event at my FLGS. A couple of these dudes I've had sitting in a box for years now and finally decided to finish off the gang.

The scheme was inspired by my original Imperial Guard I painted back in 2018 when I first got into the hobby, looked grungy enough for the underhive.

At long last, I’ve finished the Gang Lookout and Rogue Doc!

They took longer than expected to paint but I really enjoyed working on all the little details. And as always, I had great fun painting the bases. This time I tried a pale turquoise colour for the decking to get that industrial look once it had been weathered up.

Very pleased with the end results, and these two will be right at home in both my Necromunda collection and Genestealer Cult army.

So, we had a great necromunda game t'other day. It was the last game in our little campaign, the four of us vs a load of ghouls!

We have Kyle's blood boys, Rob's van saar, Lucky's squats, and my nomads. And I provided the ghouls.

Supposedly working together to cull the hoard, but Rob tried to kill one of my dudes and failed. I got sweet sweet revenge. The rest of the game went on, my leader was cornered for most of it. And near the end when it was only really Kyle and Lucky, Kyle went for squat blood.

Sadly had to cut it short by one round 'cause time. But was still v fun! I always love the mulitplayer skirmish games. Making deals with other players n betrayal and all.

Oh yeah, and we can't forget the coup de grace conga line!

Thrilled to see new modules for the Thatos-pattern habs suitable for a more professional-looking wasteland waystation than the tarps shutters ad hoc look of the standard kit. The fresh and clean paint scheme really helps to sell the new additions, too; Necromunda may be a dying world, but that's no excuse to neglect basic maintenance!

And a big box of Zone Mortalis ruins is welcome but overdue. Give me that crumbling underhive.

Das Conk Crete, Baybee

No recent model pics lately because I've been working on 9 more modular terrain tiles. Expanding on the 4 underhive tiles with 3 more metal plates, and 6 concrete tiles. The concrete is plaster, sand, spray paint, and a ton of weathering. The pictures don't do justice to how realistic the texture looks in person.

...probably could have made them _less_ grody, but hey, they'll fit well with the rest of my underhive terrain. XD

oh shit if i'm making more dreadbacks i need more redbacks, which means i need more wargames atlantic spiders

which means i might as well make a couple drider dreadbacks, grafted onto their trusty beasts by foul alchemies, as deadly as they are beautiful

and, of course, i should make more nyfarran storm legion special cavalry (which means getting my hands on a few more sprues of napoleonic cavalry)

Some work in progress shots of my Gang Lookout and Rogue Doc for Necromunda.

These will also make great alternative character units for my Genestealer Cults army, the Coronid Watchmen. The Lookout will make an excellent Cult Nexos and the Rogue Doc will be ideal as a Biophagus.

Still some work to do with the details but they are almost done.

I'm calling Ensign Tully done. I could spend another dozen hours pushing paint around on her, chasing all the little flaws that keep cropping up, but I'm happy with her. Another ganger in "Deacon" Kellat Nul's Cold Trader Retinue, Ensign Tully was an Imperial naval officer. She was taken hostage by the Rogue's Gallery in a boarding action gone sideways.
