thinking about a TLT-inspired d20 campaign. it's all i think about. it's ruining my life

The UI: *starts showing that I have symptoms of being infected by a scratch from a zombie, which has a 7% chance of infecting you vs bites having a 100% chance*

Me, gathering all of my useful stuff into my bag and leaving it in the hall so my next character can easily pick it up, locking myself into a small room, and pulling out the bleach: ahaha, okay, better luck next time, I guess,, :^)

so, there's this scene in which harrow rips yandere twin's arm off and puts a new bone-y one in there, remade with her own parts

some people have told me in the replies that it's a sessual sort of scene, and I get that, I suppose it was the vibe it was going for

total respect to that

but I'm gonna be honest here

it felt like I was witnessing a birth and harrow was the midwife

so harrow lets yandere twin know that she's been improving her necro powers via studying and practicing to try to make up for her being "lyctor lite"

harrow and alleged gideon aka ortus are the only people here that seem to be getting any work done tbh

so now, with the new arm, inner chad can use the sword again

and yandere twin is happy because she's now a proper lyctor and has senior chad aka augustine's approval

harrow is proud of herself for doing nice necro things like chopping and reconstructing arms

as a thanks, yandere twin agrees to help harrow to kill alleged gideon the first aka ortus

nobody asked you, but ok

I actually have no qualms with alleged gideon aka ortus

because he's at least direct and honest about it

everyone here has an agenda, at least this guy's like directly trying to physically kill harrow

at this point, I respect the direct approach

CHAPTER 28

we're back at gideon-less canaan house

canaan house isn't safe in any universe, all the trails lead to death

everyone who's alive or accounted for is having a sleepover

there's a bunch of people unaccounted for, actually

the kiddos from the fourth are allegedly hidden elsewhere

who knows, at this point

I don't trust anyone

there's a fog and rain and water rising still

which reminds me of the movie identity, in which they all were trapped in that motel because it wasn't actually a motel and they weren't actually alive per-se

magnus and abby say that protozoa should have decked mayonnaise uncle

which is one of the reasons why the gideon universe is superior

aside from the presence of gideon and camilla

his soul, which got detached from his body in the gideon universe, is still flying like a balloon across universes and dimensions, I guess

me and my "alleged gideon" theory are very happy about this

everyone gets drunk except for alleged gideon aka ortus and harrow, because they're the only people in this group project who are doing the work

augustine and mercygirl start fighting about something their cavaliers did back in the day

they start toasting for cavaliers and talking about how "hot pyrrha was"

there is no respect for the dead in the emperor's bolthole

there's about to be something else in the emperor's bolthole in a minute though

I was excited about them drinking, though, because that's when people start spilling some truths

the lost commander of BOE is a "she", her name is/was Commander Wake, she almost killed alleged gideon aka ortus

I'm still spinning with the gideon's mom theory

and the background telenovela I've got going on

BOE found a Herald, killed it and turned it into weapons against these clowns

good for them, tbh, kill these drunk irresponsible bastards

yandere twin wants to kiss harrowbean before she leaves to kill alleged gideon aka ortus, but harrow doesn't let her

harrow says "my affections lie buried in the Locked Tomb" to which yandere twin responds "Somebody might even exhume them for you"

when harrow mentioned not wanting to be touched while sleeping beside yandere twin, I remembered the pool hug and all that, that was a nice time

people were being killed left and right but it was a nice time

ANYWAY

harrow has a whole plan and has it all figured out, it's a really good plan, it works very nicely, but alleged gideon aka ortus isn't where they told her he was

sometimes, life works that way

the man you plan to kill isn't in the training room and all

she goes to look for him in not!dulcinea's crypt or whatever

and she sees this

and the spear

she follows the children's hospital trail of blood to the incinerator

alleged gideon aka ortus is inside the fire thingy and not!dulcinea is operating the controls

I wonder who could have predicted that this woman could still be an issue even after death

anyway, no time for I-told-you-so's because harrowbean decides to help him out of there

I'm very happy because I need him alive

he knows things and he's less bad than everyone else around here

he tells her some things while he's kind of out of it

Okay now that all the baseline stuff has been documented, it's time for the fetish unveil, and this shit is downright vile so it is your choice to read this. Ready your eyebleach.

I think when he's obsessed with someone he likes to carve their visage over and over, but the thing about his nasty little temper is that he inevitably ends up destroying them, he gouges their eyes out and rips the jaw off in chunks, so energetically so that he leaves gouge marks in the table and has injured himself on more than one occasion, he can't help destroying what he loves, it's just what he does, and by proxy it tempts him sickeningly hard to also destroy you too, how much trouble would it be to kill you? Weighing the consequences and regrets in each hand, it certainly eats away at him. When his rage has expunged itself he finds himself pressing kisses to the wax carving of your face, feverishly as though it is the real you, sometimes he sinks his teeth in, he just can't help it he wants you so badly he's even brought to his limit by a carving of you. He tosses it back into the vat when he's done, he can't be faced with what he's done.

–Has gotten desperate and fucked a wax sculpture of you, warms the wax just enough that it's pliable and fucks it on the floor of his workshop like a desperate animal. He can't stand staring at your face though so he often sets it to the side, leaves your carved form headless and impersonal so he can fuck you without the shame of it being you. He often finds himself cutting and gouging the sculpture while this happens too, anger pouring out of him like poison. If he is letting you into his pervert inner sanctum he will tie you back and fuck your wax sculpture in front of you, make you watch how he destroys and defiles this copy of you piece by piece. Conversely he will also make you fuck your wax self or even a wax sculpture of him while he watches.

–He's a bit of an anatomy freak, so while he is fucking you and digging his hands into you, he is imagining the exact curves of your bones and dimensions of your body, he wants to explore you, remake you, reshape you, take you apart piece by piece and make you however he desires. In the instance where he goes forwards with killing you, he will preserve your body as a sculpture and spend meticulous time studying each of your bones and limbs, he has no qualms with taking you apart, he'll just graft you back together when he's done. He’ll fuck your wax covered corpse and feel vile pleasure at how the hot wax feels sloshing around your organs and the feeling of your soft wet body around his dick being artificially warmed by the wax as though you are still alive. This privilege of getting to keep your forever preserved in wax just makes his sick heart rile up with joy, you are his, forever and forever, it's a shame though, he does miss how you would fight back. 

–Just as he wants you to belong to him, he is not above giving parts of himself to you as a means of claiming you. If you bite down hard enough to draw blood he's making you drink it or lick it off him. He might take a section of flesh from his side and have you eat it, a part of him from such a tender place on his body and he will force you to have this piece of him. Have it, keep this bit of him and remember the taste of him forever. He wants to be in your blood and in your mind, he may truly despise himself but more than anything he wants to be part of you in a way you cannot get rid of. If need be he'll even graft a part of his flesh to your body and a part of yours to himself, forever linked as the flesh joins and heals together. 

–This is more of a niche thing, but one tumblr ask made me spiral into the whore abyss and so here we are, talking about breeding with a man who def doesn't want children. Can you see where this is going. I think the minute he fucks raw he knows he is doomed, he doesn't want to father a child but it's too late, he's too deep in and your body is too tenderly warm. He will look you in the eyes and tell you that you won't survive this and neither will he, that you and him are both cursed from this moment on. He cums inside too late for anything to be done and as his hands dig into the softness of your skin he knows the clock is ticking, a timer is running for how long this goes on before it kills him. His eyes tilt down at your stomach and he knows with sick satisfaction that a part of him is embedded in you, in the tenderest part of your body. 

–The whole concept makes his brain spiral with stress and paranoia, all he knows is that this curse he has fostered currently growing in your stomach cannot be born under any circumstances, he just can't let that happen. But also your body has another mark that it belongs to him, a piece of him nestled beneath your skin in the cradle of your pelvis. The anatomy freak within him is chewing its own leg off at the prospect of you being tethered so solidly to him, even if he takes it out of you the genetic residue will never leave your body, you are stuck with his blight forever. And if he doesn't? If he lets the timer run long and hard? He gets to watch how his curse deforms and warps your body. He knows the bones thin, that the chest gets tender and swollen, that the sex drive heightens and burns and the body grows feverish with want. Plagued with every manner of cravings. And this has been caused by him. Oh how it sickens him and yet that disgust turns on itself and he can't help but find himself aroused over what he's done to you. This body horror aspect he's bent upon you eats away at him and leaves him painfully horny and utterly disgusted.

–The subtlety eats away at him first, the fattening of the body, the widening of the hips, the way your shirt begins to cling around your midsection. He knows he's letting the timer run and the longer it goes for the more drastic of an action he will have to take as a result. But when he presses his hand to your stomach and feels that part that just won't give he's weakened by the thought of leaving the parasite that is him to fester inside you. It horrifies him and yet he can't stop. He'll ask you to strip just so he can stare at your body, a flush overtaking his face as he gets a bit queasy. He’ll let his hands wander over you and allow his thumbs to dig into the spot in your stomach where your womb sits, know what lies in there, and grow clammy with how hard he is. 

–The later trimesters are even worse, you can't hide your condition any longer it's far too evident. The crazed thing in him can't decide if he wants to let the world see you or not, on one hand, everyone will know of his parasite that is consuming you and how you belong to him. On the other hand he wants to keep you cooped up in his house with no one but him to see his taboos. Your swollen stomach rests heavy on your body and when he sees how you strain just trying to move around and how you massage your back to relieve the aches he can't help but feel a deranged satisfaction at burdening you. This curse made by you and him is slowly killing you both and you look painfully good while it happens. You ask him to massage you to relieve the pressure and pain and your whines sound just the same as when he digs a knife into you, that sadistic streak coming out to relish in the sounds you make.

–The movement especially gets to him, seeing your skin deform as the parasite in your squirms and pushes around almost makes him sick. You press his hand to your stomach and have him feel how it moves and his face goes ashen and breaks out in a sweat. The thoughts were easier to manage when he could just pretend it was something of his resting inert within you but feeling the confirmation that it lives and grows beneath his hand makes him nauseated, the consequences are biting at him and yet he's so horny for a concept he shouldn't be horny for, he's disgusted at you, he's disgusted at himself for getting off on this, and yet his own revulsion only makes him hornier. Hearing you groan with how it squirms in you and seeing the expressions you make is an experience for the ages, there's nothing else quite like it. Having your body deform under the weight of his sins and seeing you moan in both pain and near pleasure at the way it hurts you has him locking himself in his room down with a fever and a boner. The fact that to some degree you might also get off on what's happening is absolutely killing him. 

–You won't ever birth that thing though, if you have his child he's killing himself. He doesn't trust anyone else to remove it, he'll do it himself, he's dealt with enough bodies and studied enough anatomy he's sure he can do it himself. If he aborts it early, the experience will always haunt him a little with this strange desire to do it again. To knock you up over and over again and remove it from your body at various growth stages. Preserve them. Study them. An excuse to do it as many times as he can and see what horrid things he can make, see your body swollen over and over again and relish in getting to cut you open each time. Can an abortion be sexual? He's going to make it sexual while his hands are digging around in your stomach. For sanitary reasons he knows he should wear gloves but he yearns to feel your insides bare handed. Regardless of when he aborts it though he is preserving it in a jar and keeping it a secret in his house, something to haunt him, something for him to study. If he's feeling extreme he will kill you and preserve you as you are, with his parasite forever lodged within you. Even if this scenario never comes to pass, the thought will keep him awake at night.

–Okay now let's unpack some real insane shit, yeah let's address the freak in the room, that's right we are gonna unpack the incest card. Interpreting him with or without the freak shit is optional but for the sake of cranking it full insanity, we are gonna say that incest is afoot. I think that he's probably kept it under wraps, he's never told her, granted you can kinda tell the vibe in the room is off but he tries to keep her pure and free of what's fucked up in him. He can't help it though, she's all he has left in his life, the only one who remains close with him against all odds. Bare minimum they are emotionally entangled beyond repair, he feels very territorial over her, he doesn't want her with anyone other than him, and this manifests in his paranoia over her dying. 

–He thinks she's utterly beautiful, she looks just like him, tender pale skin, soft rosy lips, big green eyes, it's always given him a strange sort of thrill to be close to her and feel how soft she is. Christina, born of the same flesh as he is and is yet a greater person than he’ll ever be, how he admires her goodness. He wonders if it's so wrong for him to want to be so close and tender with flesh that is one and the same as his own? Is it so taboo that he should want to be close to that light of hers? Upon finding her dead he had to preserve her as best as he could, he didn't want anyone else near the body besides him, he didn't want her taken away from him, she's all he has. No sane man would do what he did, graft the broken and burnt pieces of her to his body, never to be separated from again, joined in his flesh as one, no matter how much it hurts and marrs his skin. It's all worth it.

–He’s never acted on these desires but he's had many a stress dream about you and Christina together, of seeing you two make out in front of him. He's woken up in a cold sweat and painfully hard each time. He would never suggest it but dead or alive, he would not turn down a threesome with you and Christina. To be overwhelmed in hedonistic delight by his two obsessions, what a shameful pleasure it brings upon him.

TLT and actual science

Some time ago I posted some questions on the first resurrection and science here and had a wonderful discussion with @stranded-cryptid

We got stuck cause none of us knew enough physics :) so if anyone understands it better, I would so like an input or commentary.

But the ultimate question that came out of this discussion for me is:

Can TLT space necro magic be somewhat explained within the scope of our current scientific knowledge?

Or, can TLT be more or less hard sci-fi?

I know it can be so. Simmons explained religion and mysticism through science, and science through religion and mysticism in The Fall of Hyperion. The whole thing looked like err.. abrahamic space fantasy, right until the last part of the second book. And TLT can also be categorized as abrahamic space fantasy.

So, what do we know:

John DID have a scientific explanation for what was going on with thalergy/thanergy. He was going to write down his theory and to get it published. He turned it into a magic and a cult later because of circumstances and pressure. At least, that's what he says in Nona.

Thalergy, as far as it looks, is not directly connected to life. Jod murders completely lifeless planets in Solar system, and still gets his thanergy and Resurrection Beasts.

No thalergy/thanergy comes from moons, no Resurrection Beasts there.

Sun is not involved in thalergy/thanergy, there is no Sun Resurrection Beast. I suspect it applies to all stars and also to black holes.

Thanergy is somehow connected to wormholes (the River, might be also steles)

No necromancy in space. Yes necromancy on a planet.

Necros are able to produce additional mass out of nowhere (constructs made out of a single bone)

It does not add up for me, because I do not have enough knowledge, but what I think:

John and his team were working in cryogenics. I think they accidentally discovered not a solution for cryogenic, but some thing to keep thanergy (and possibly thalergy) within the body, when naturally it just dissipates. Prolonged exposure to thanergy is what gave John his powers. This also might explain why Augustine, Mercy and Gideon became necros - they were working with John originally and for a long time, and Alfred, Cristabel and Pyrrha did not - they joined much later.

I also think that thalergy is connected to gravity somehow. I mean, this explains lifeless planets but not moons - planets are gravitational centres of satellite systems. Stars are either too massive or maybe it is because of fusion in the core, or maybe it is cause stars a results of gravitational collapse, or idk. It also might explain why the Houses have artificial gravity. I mean, John is our contemporary or very close, and it looks like all resources were poured to FTL fleet. Why thalergy is connected to life? Anoher theory I have is that it is connected to complex and developing structures (like, babies have more thanergy than an adult, and cancer is also), and thanergy is connected to enthropy?

In 2024, I've been looking for gym jams. Y'know, utterly chaotic music you can listen to at the gym that makes you work out harder and longer than usual!? I happen to work with a group of young guys, and they always have the weirdest music playing in the workstation area. Being an old man compared to the pups, I often laugh or cringe at their screamo, emo violence and metalcore garbage. In just the last fortnight or so, I was passing through the workstation area and heard a very peculiar and strangely attractive sound. It reminded me of a hybrid between Aphex Twin and KMFDM. So, I memorized the band name, showed up at the gym to sample their tracks, and ended up staying on the treadmill for an extra hour as my ear canals climaxed at this fast-paced new sound. Their tunes made my body move, and how! I basically just started listening to this duo from Long Island, NY, so I'm hardly a subject matter expert, but despite my best efforts, I just can’t stop sampling this eery and tasty batshit! I can plainly state I have not heard a single other musical act that sounds exactly like this, and as of this posting I will declare it to be the most chaotic music I’ve ever installed on my blog. But there is an order to this chaos, as it is fundamentally rooted in the structures and schools of punk, digital hardcore, rave and industrial. Talk about a messy emotional ride; in some instances, their individual tunes are like listening to 10-20 soundscapes mashed into one 3-minute track. Apparently, if you listen to their tunes deep enough, you’ll find themes of gender identity, sexuality and a criticism of capitalism. So, if you’re into those themes, have at it! Me!? I'm just here for the extremely crazy breakbeats and the total experimental experience they have to offer. Just below, you’ll find Necro Culture Vulture from their 2020 album The Ugly Art. Especially if you’re a fitness-inspired gym rat like me these days, try this batshit on for size when you’re on the tread, it’ll all suddenly make sense if it hasn’t already!

This year, this is the most creative and inspiring new-to-my ears music I’ve had the good fortune to stumble across. I commend them for their explosive tracks that rapidly ascend into something akin to an epic score right out of a modern AAA video game. dve- that one gave me pause. until my friend looked it up and was like. it’s slavic. and i facepalmed. dva is two in russian but dve is a conjugated form used to refer to things, so i didn’t even recognize it

shodash- from sanskrit for sixteen. also we already knew from nona that cassiopeia was sixth

trinit- three (like yeah what i remember about the vibes of cyrus and valancy, they would have painted nudes of themselves. very third)

tetra- this one stumped me for a bit. cause that’s also a root for three. until my friend pointed out that it’s in three dimensions. a pyramid. which has four sides. i stand corrected it does mean four. no idea why i associated it with three so definitively

also this seems to be the only name that’s rooted more in math/geometry instead of language/culture, fitting since ulysses and titania were created by john even more so than the others (something something they didn’t have as much dimension as the others cause at least the others were based on real people john knew before he fucked everything up)

novenary- we’ve heard so many ninth names at this point that even without the root we’d be able to recognize that as ninth

and since we know that god renamed them all after resurrecting them and wiping their memories, i assume he did this all on purpose. did they guess? what did they think about being named arbitrary numbers that didn’t even have to do with their order of ascension? or were they even able to think about it? did they just think it was normal? or some big coincidence?

“i understand the houses have crystallized into… types” do you think that happened as a result of what john remade the lyctors into? did their personalities automatically carry over when he resurrected them or did when he reworked their memories he had to remember enough about them and just didn’t, thus starting the archetypes?

What is your theory on Necro and Undine's halos in Strive ? Why do you think they gain a halo like Jack-O Valentine and Happy Chaos ?

Most likely it has a lot to do with the heritage of Gears, particularly the Prime Field Gear Cells that housed the Scales of Juno and Flame of Corruption Seeds.

While it is true that Dizzy had little to do with the Seeds, she still inherited the genetic framework of Justice, which you could argue borders on a Divine Bloodline.

The Universal Will was responsible for turning the Sage in to Chaos, so probably she used the Prime Field genes as a template just like when she made the Valentines, which is technically stolen genetic information. This combined with I-No’s Backyard structure made Chaos in to something close to a Demigod, even if the Will managed to just barely seal him in her body.

The original description for the template (blueprint) that created Justice was called the Gear Archetype, though the exact information on this template was never fully revealed.

Most likely Asuka R. Kreutz used complex Backyard data to come up with the “ideal body” that could safely house the Seeds, and so that data had to be beyond mere normal biological genes.

As a result of this, certain Gears were made to far surpass the mass production series that most Military organizations would be familiar with, some of whom we may not entirely know about yet, assuming they still exist.

The Backyard houses information that might even be beyond our Universe and Dimension, so keep that in mind. Dizzy and Justice both had traits that border on Angelic in nature.

Angelic or Demonic? It’s hard to trace the exact source for certain, only that we know that much of the Backyard was formed from Humanity’s Legends and Folklore: Ghosts and Monsters.

Japanese Folktales seem to suggest that Humans who cross the threshold of “Yomi” cease to be Human afterwards, if that is any hint to go on. Would certainly explain Chipp’s Demon Hunt for an Oni like Chaos who loves to play pranks. Chaos himself already stated that he is “Already Dead”.

Gears are very similar to Youkai, as Izuna once iterated, so that should tell us something, the in-universe term for “Demihumans”.

We can certainly confirm that anyone who can return from the Backyard alive isn’t exactly human anymore, to say the least.

Jack-O’ once described Heaven’s Edge as a “Tomb of Possibility”, and if you’re familiar with BlazBlue Lore, Possibility can span multiple dimensions and timelines.

Is the Backyard a gate to other realms? I don’t have the answer to that, but Chaos seems to think Demihumans do.

The Locked Tomb/Steven Universe Crossover

This crossover was inspired months ago by the random thought "Hey, Pearl would definitely want to be Rose's cavalier" and hasn't left me alone since. So here you go, niche audience of one! (It's me. I am the audience)

First of all, yes, Pearl has to be Rose's cavalier. Not only does it neatly align with Pearl's knightly devotion and the institutional power imbalance they're both trying to ignore, Pearl absolutely is the kind of person who would take "my not-wife refuses to kill me and eat my soul in order to attain immortality" as a terrible rejection.

She's so insane about Rose, she'd fit right in in this universe (pun not intended). Also, the cavalier-necromancer romance taboo works excellently for Pearlrose. For one, of course, the forbidden romance. Cav!Pearl confessing to necro!Rose that she's been dreaming about running away from the Houses together to live in domestic bliss on a nice moon somewhere has the exact same vibes as su!Pearl's confession in Now We're Only Falling Apart. But more importantly, cav!Pearl giving Rose's suitors a "You may have caught her eye, but I am her cavalier; she swore an oath to me; our fates are entwined till death do us part" speech only to go to her rooms and wallow in how the very position that ensures she'll be by Rose's side forever is what will forever keep her from pursuing her true feelings is too good.

Meanwhile Rose is in the next room going "Oh woe is me, for I am a cruel, selfish woman, to keep the love of my life from the glory she deserves! Alas, I can't bear to let her go, even though I know in my heart that her care for me is only the rightful, proper care of a cavalier for her necromancer! The least I owe her is not to take advantage of our pure, sacred bond, so I shall go and drown my sorrows in another fleeting affair!"

Writer's choice whether they miraculously manage to communicate before Rose gets herself killed in one way or another, but ironically the dystopian 50% character death rate tlt verse is much more likely to give them a second chance than pastel redemption arcs su, because Steven Universe is a story about healing from trauma with the power of a supportive network of loved ones while The Locked Tomb endorses attacking the cold unfeeling universe with teeth and fingernails until it returns your girlfriend, and both of them are so valid for this.

In this case however it means, that instead of slowly healing, Pearl absolutely refuses to accept Rose's death to a Harrow and Camilla extent. Does she threaten to stab whoever takes Jod's role in this AU? Does she try to break into the Locked Tomb because to hell with the Houses, she's getting her wife back? Both? In any case, tlt rules demand that she succeeds.

Anyway, I put them in the Seventh House because roses.

As for the supporting cast:

Ruby and Sapphire are the Fifth House wholesome married couple who make Pearl and Rose stare in longing for what they cannot have.

Garnet is Paul. Obviously. Cue another, different kind of yearning for what could have been from Pearl. Poor Garnet has just come into existence. She doesn't deserve having to be everyone's emotional support already.

I struggled with figuring out a role for Amethyst for a while until it hit me: Wasn't it fun when Amethyst experienced self hatred over how the life was drained out of her planet to make her? Try being the result of two hundred child murders! Don't the inadequacy issues gain a delightful new dimension when your entire generation has been killed off in anticipation of your abilities? Guys, I think Amethyst is Harrow Nova.

I have no idea what plot has to happen for Rose to end up with Jod's baby, but that is the only role for Steven I will tolerate. And Connie is his cavalier. Obviously.

Peridot is sciency, Lapis is the quiet OP lady, and they're in a QPR. There was no way I wasn't going to make them the Sixth. HOWEVER. Due to how extremely OP Lapis is with an element manipulating power specifically. I decided that she's the necromancer and Peridot is her incredibly academically talented BFF who they're pretending is the necromancer so she can be along for the ride. This would be plot relevant if this crossover had an actual plot instead of self indulgent vibes only.

Jasper gets Judith's role. Completely loyal to the ethically dubious regime, absolutely convinced that she's the only one who is doing the right thing and everyone else is just not strong enough, ends up corrupted possessed by a Resurrection Beast.

Bismuth is a Blood of Eden commander. She would like to fist fight every single Uppercrust zombie, however, just like su!Bismuth, she is easily won over when a former Homeworld gem House zombie shows up on her planet and announces her intent to fight the Diamonds Jod and his Lyctors and/or bust into the Locked Tomb.

So my world is pretty much a random variety of multiple things I like crammed into one. For example, one area is a technologically advanced super city that I hope to talk about later while the other is an abandoned hospital in the middle of a frozen mountain. Another is the depths of Hell turned into a 9-5 punishment in contrast to a fungal rave happening in the middle of a forest that has giant crystals that show different possible timelines. Essentially no rhyme or reason as to what can and can’t exist.

The entire story takes place on a planet called Terra and a land known as Pangea. In this world gods control certain areas of the world to watch over humanity. These areas are called Domains. Each domain contains 2 gods, each being one contrast to the other (as an example, Nightmare has his brother Dream, a god called Panacea has Miasma, and a god called Fate has Chance). The whole story takes place on the domain known as Enigma, this being Nightmare and Dream’s domain.

As a quick note, the world does change over time, I have 3 acts planned out and each introduces new areas, for now though I’m just gonna name random important locations for act 1:

Traveler’s Beginnings - small intro town that has a variety of shops and random buildings

Traveler’s Trials - behind the TB is a forest that is essentially a maze. Holds a variety of locations that are important to random other things

Adventurers’ Guild Base - place for adventurers to get licenses and quests from random people (similar to the HxH, I actually wrote this concept in 2020 before I even knew about HxH funnily enough)

Back alley pawn shop - hidden near the outskirts of both the TB and TT is a pawn shop, it’ll be important for a lot of reasons. Stay tuned lol

Kopperlin - a kingdom made of copper, steel, and random other metals. This place is technically the first real outside location I ever actually wrote about besides TB and it’s neighboring locations

Technopolis - an interestingly high tech area that apparently only mortals can see. Nightmare can’t see it… probably for the best

Seaside Port - generic port that has no use until act 2, for now just know that the sea is a scary place and this port is soon to be very scared of the creatures resting at the bottom

Hands of Time Desert - a biome that’s filled with giant mechanical hands that occasionally jerk and creak about. The sands hold many secrets, only time will uncover what those secrets may be

Snake Eye’s Casino - an enigma of a casino owned by a man who know one knows the face of. Maybe a little time to relax wouldn’t hurt a bit

The Grim Corporation - a conglomerate company and plane of existence that acts as an afterlife in which people have to pay life debts to get to be reincarnated. Multiple types of afterlives exist, but that’s a different topic for now

The Astral Plains - a different dimension ruled by magic and the unknown possibilities of it. Anything can happen here, best to not stick for too long though lest you want to be met by some not so friendly entities

The Junkyard - a different dimension ruled by the Titan of humanity’s stories and evolution: Progress. Anything that gets lost or forgotten ends up here, Progress just likes to collect stuff honestly

Finally is the Necro-Bard’s stage - a town and it’s neighboring forest that holds nothing but dead corpses of those who got caught and turned by the Necro-Bard’s army. Filled with dark purple crystals, the sound of screams, and corrupted looking trees, this area is nothing more than a dead wasteland.

1. Omni-blasts: can unleash powerful blasts of orange fiery energy like such as fiery-orbs, searing beams, Annihilation-Rays, infernal aura, infernal-Nova, Pyroclastic-Flow, Hellfire-storm and draconic Energy breath.

2. Illusion-warp - Azmaroth's ability to manipulate reality around him adds an unsettling layer of unpredictability and trickery to his arsenal, making him an even more formidable and deceptive opponent can make pocket dimensions and shapeshift into almost anything.

3. Necro-force - His power to manipulate and mutate the dead is a horrifying ability that could create armies of undead monstrosities to overwhelm the heroes, further cementing his status as a truly terrifying, godlike villain.

4. arc-lightning - can manipulate orange-red lightning from his hands and the storms like Zeus but on a much larger scale.

5. argent-Psychokinesis - can lift objects and people and manipulate minds and push them away with his mind and fly and be mobile akin to the force.

6. Armageddon Spears - These towering, spectral spears of fiery energy are nothing short of apocalyptic in their scale and destructive force. The ability to summon multiple, city-leveling lances from all directions is the kind of attack that could easily overwhelm and annihilate entire teams of heroes.

7. Spear of Oblivion - A single, concentrated beam of energy capable of destroying planets with one hand is the epitome of a devastating trump card. This is the kind of attack that could potentially vaporize entire cities or even wipe out the heroes in a single, cataclysmic strike.

8. Sphere of Annihilation - Generating a sun-like ball of pure destructive energy is a feat of such immense power that it boggles the mind. This is the kind of attack that could level entire landmasses or even threaten the heroes on a global scale.

9. Decimator mastery - can use his black scythe with amazing grace and power can swing and dash the weapon with one hand despite it looking like a axe and using it to unleash powerful range energy swing attacks from his black scythe as he can charge his black scythe with his crimson fiery energy.

10. super strength/speed - is extremely strong and incredibly fast able to crush almost anything with his raw strength alone akin to a kryptonian.

11. immortality/regeneration - can heal from devastating wounds and cannot age or decay but can still be killed.

Personality and mannerisms: he’s a cold and manipulative and psychopathic serpentine warrior as he is extremely tactical and intelligent a monster devoid of empathy a villain who’s without mercy not even to his own forces he has no good in him I mean at all he’s irredeemable and rotten to the core he seeks subjugate the entire multiverse under his rule with his entire hive mind creatures called the locust horde from gears of war as his soldiers.

Backstory: he was once a young prince with a loving family and everything he can ever asked for but none of it was ever enough in a act of pure evil he killed his entire royal family in cold blood with no hesitation or guilt or remorse and took the throne for himself.
