Arthur couldn’t bear the thought of leaving Merlin knowing that he would be sad.

Arthur cradled Merlin’s head in his hand, with a small smile on his chapped lips, trying to reassure Merlin, knowing what was to come, and aware that Merlin would have been destroyed by Arthur’s death.

So not only Arthur let himself be held, because he wanted to, because, finally, he could ask that of Merlin, but he gently caressed Merlin’s hair too, and we can see how much Merlin had longed for Arthur’s tender touch.

Merlin rolled his head back to feel Arthur’s palm on his scalp, although the hand was covered by the glove.

Merlin knew, in that moment, when he finally had Arthur in his arms like he had always wanted him, but couldn’t have him and only stared at him from afar, when he let himself be touched like he had craved for all those years, that Arthur wouldn’t have been able to caress him anymore.

So Merlin leaned in the touch like his life depended on it, and we can see him wavering by the tiny, yet enormous gesture.

And Merlin knew he wouldn’t have had the hand in his hair ever again.

It wasn’t only Arthur’s wish.

All Merlin had ever wanted of Arthur was to be held by him too.

Job searching sends me between euphoria at all the new things I can explore! And then just the most miserable pathetic begging and pleading worthlessness of all time.

Can’t help but remember my senior year job fair in college which I helped ORGANIZE by the way and I had fabulous grades, I met with all the reps that came and gave them tours and answered their questions and brought them refreshments and my classmates ended the day being offered like accounting positions and marketing positions and international market positions and the rep from cracker barrel asked if I wanted to be a hostess there on weekends when I didn’t have class. So like something is wrong with me.

ROBBY MY POOKIE pls I could NOT handle his sad little face this final episode! Especially towards the end he was just gone😭 Mr sad brown eyes really took it to the next leve. Noah said in an interview that he didn’t know what would have happened if Abbot hadn’t gone up to the roof with Robby💀 There’s one particular expression he makes towards the end when Dana tells him to give himself some grace that just shattered my heart into a million pieces 😭😭😭😭

YESSSSSSS 🥹😭😭😭 the way he looked at Dana after she told him that rocked me. Noah is such a phenomenal actor to convey so much emotion in a look; a heavy sadness that just sits in his eyes and crushes the soul. That’s why I immediately thought, if he comes to work Monday and she isn’t there, he’ll be so lost and heartbroken. She’s the center in all this craziness and just helps hold him up.

The season finale just made me want to just wrap everyone in a tight hug (except Langdon because he officially just pissed me off. I get being scared and stuff, but even when he spoke with Dana he never ONCE asked how SHE was doing clearly seeing she was also not having a great fucking day and was like, vouch for me. Nah hoe it’s called the consciences of our actions and what Robby asked wasn’t unreasonable and was meant to HELP his dense ass, not hurt it, and it’s HIS fault he can’t be trusted atm) and just try and give them as much love as humanly possible.

I’ve been knuckle deep in thought since I watched this season finale and it’s the traumatized kind 🤣🤣

generally i don't like openly talking about positive things happening in my life because i have A Complex and a fear that everything good gets taken from me the second i vocalize it but Anyway i am happy to report that work has been allowing me to work in my preferred department this entire week so far and it has done wonders for my mental and physical health 🧘🏻‍♀️ so fingers crossed they continue to do so, since i'm really good at what they're having me do AND it's enjoyable work for me personally

Guess who got to see the rockafire guys the other day (10/19/2024)!! This was at the Volo Museum, of course, and they look really good!! These aren't the best photos cause I was so excited to see them IRL (and I don't wanna include any with the kids that were around lol), but I figured I should at least share them with y'all! Especially the ones of Dook and Beach Bear cause I thought they ended up looking pretty good.

objectively the final episode should have either been longer or it should have been two episodes. as much as i loved the funky slasher movie montage, i wish they had given the theatre and coven a proper (longer) goodbye. i also think the fight between louis and armand should have been harsher after two season's worth of buildup. i think, overall the problem with the pacing was that they were limited to this single episode (idk if it was a writers/producers' choice or a platform choice so im not gonna blame anyone specifically) but with that aside, i loved the episode and i think it was as satisfying an ending as we could have hoped for

Ao no Flag (SERIES FINALE SPOILERS!!)

Seriously, don’t read this if you are planning to read Ao no Flag. That being said, go read the manga now!!

Finally finished reading Ao no Flag and I have so many feelings. Non-coherent, rambly, messy feelings. I was looking at reactions online and what mainly boggles me about the reactions to the final 2 chapters is people being “how is Taichi suddenly gay??” My friend living on this big planet he never was (he’s bi). He most likely just realized it later in life. Did the events of his 3rd HS year help him figure it out? Heck yes. Is he suddenly bi? No.

Not all queer people pop out into this world and instantly know they are queer. Heck, it took me 23 years to figure that out. It’s not like Taichi instantly realized he likes Touma and started dating him. He knew Touma mattered to him somehow, but it took him multiple years to realize how, as evident by him maybe starting his relationship with Touma after 5 years when Touma contacted them all. He gained life experience and grew.

People go through a lot of learning, unlearning and growing. Especially if you are outside of societal expectations and norms. Taichi grew up learning to and wanting to blend in with society. “Be normal, don’t stand out too much”. Add to that low self-confidence and you feel stuck. Feel like there is only black and white. only one right answer to life. It can be very difficult to look out of this dark box, trust me, I had a tough time and sometimes still do. But it feels like Taichi thought and thought and pondered even back in high school and came to the decisions that he did.

And isn’t that what the series is about? growing as a person, making mistakes, learning, allowing yourself to be visible and vulnerable, and eventually, making choices, even if they don’t make sense to anyone else, and continuing to do so?

These two pages really hit me hard and I was wondering why. And then it hit me. This is possibly the happiest I’ve seen Taichi be since his childhood. Like genuinely happy. He’s reached max happiness points and is sharing those with Touma. He’s made his choices, and he’s happy. You can and are allowed to choose what or who makes you happy.

That’s all that matters.

i watched it yesteryay and may i just say WWWWAOW was that a fucking movie oh my gosh

the general messages of it all about gun violence and racial prejudice was so insanely interesting to me, and even the story of how one perceives a convicted felon

when collins asked val "when you look at me, do you see the fight first?" or along those lines i lost my SHIT man it was such a good bar and AGHHHHH i love loved it

that was ,, an incredible movie ,, and i thank you karl for reccomending it to me bc i did in fact skip over my movie lineup just to enjoy this absolute BANGER and it was so worth it man
