I'm Emma, I plan to steal your heart, I hope so. It will be a whole new experience to try online dating. Meeting nice people and sharing similar interests (Who would have?!) My week is spent between the office and my biker group. I travel for work several times a year and discovering new frontiers is one of my passions. I would love to live in Asia. This culture attracts me. And it would certainly be a fantastic life experience. Single and searching ❤💯💋💕

NBA Jam is one of those games that defined an era. Originally released in arcades in 1993 before making its way to home consoles, it brought basketball to a whole new level—not through realism, but through high-speed, over-the-top action. The Sega Genesis version delivers the core experience of 2-on-2 basketball with high-flying dunks, shoves, and no fouls, making every game a chaotic, fast-paced battle.
At its best, NBA Jam is pure arcade fun. The turbo meter adds a layer of strategy, rewarding smart energy management, while the "He's on fire!" mechanic can completely shift the momentum of a game. The exaggerated, gravity-defying slams are still satisfying to pull off, and the game's fast rhythm ensures there’s never a dull moment. It also nails the competitive aspect—whether you're playing against the AI or a friend, comebacks are always possible, keeping matches unpredictable.
That said, the game isn’t without its flaws. While the arcade version was more fluid, the Genesis port has stiffer controls, and at times, player movement feels slightly awkward. Shot accuracy isn’t always consistent, and rubberbanding can be frustrating when the AI suddenly decides to go on an unstoppable run. The roster, while strong for its time, lacks certain big names due to licensing issues—something that fans noticed even back then.
Still, despite its quirks, NBA Jam on Genesis holds up as one of the most entertaining basketball games of its generation. It might not be the definitive version, but it still delivers the fast, aggressive, and unapologetically arcade-style experience that made NBA Jam a legend. Whether you're looking for nostalgia or just a quick, intense basketball fix, it remains a solid pick—even with its imperfections.
