MY WAY ON THE FIELD ⚽️🥇🧩

Hayato Suo

You have once invited him to a match as a surprise and that's how he learned you play football. After that he comes to your every match and shows his support with a silent but loud presence...

Doesn't really understand the tactical plays that's going on but when you score a goal , esp if you point at him after like "this one's for you , he supports you with claps , can even blow a small flying kiss if he feels like it. Doesn't really yell chants or scream on top of his lungs but smiles everytime you score or make a grand tactical play in a way that even a non-soccer person can understand.

When you curse in adrenaline rush or scold your teammates , doesn't show that much of an outward reaction but his eyes widen and he cold sweats just like that panel when the topic was natto in the manga. (You get what i am saying right ? 😭)

Will abuse the arrogance and dignity out of your male fans , if they cross their boundaries and make you uncomfy.

After the match , he will complement you openly and show his pride in you. "I don't really know what went in the field but if you scored 3 goals on your own , it's sth to celebrate right ?"

Akihiko Nirei

This man shows up with jersey your name is written on , wearing the same number as you and with a cringy but hilariously cute banner that he himself made. Sth like "GO Y/N MY TALENTED QUEEN ! TURN THEM INTO A PASTA DRAINER WITH YOUR GOALS" is written on it.

Shows up with a notebook in his hand. He has previously studied your old matches and general football rules etc to understand the game better. When you do sth he goes , "OMG A DOUBLE NUTMEG ? HELL YES , GO QUEEN."

Then you see a new play you haven't before and the "puzzles" in your head switch to adjust to it. It was not only cool but a guaranteed goal chance if pulled off properly. You adjust your place and pass properly according to the image in your head. Perfectly copying and owning the opponet's attack technique. His eyes go O.O and he writes everything down in his soccer notebook for you in details about how you did that.

When you insult one of your teammates in a moment of frustration and say "you play the game like an ai generated video" , he gasps and rests his palm against his chest like you offended him not your teammate. He thinks like "OMG. Y/n ? My baby ? My sweetie cutie pie..." then proceeds to support you again for your creative insults this time.

Kaji Ren

He has a monster himself so when you zone in during a match , he understands. "It comes from intense emotions and takes control over you like a 2nd persona." is probably what he thinks.

He comes over to your matches and tries his best to not put on his headset back even during intense loud moments. He wants to hear the experience just for you to be happy.

Also zooms in on you when you dominate the field during the match, too intrigued and locked in to even open his mouth for a small cheer. You are drooling , tongue out like Rin and destroying people on your way to the goal. He is over there sitting and watching like a man hypnotised.

After the match , he offers you one of his lollipops. It means "you did well i am proud of you" and also helps you with your low blood sugar/energy after running around on a football field like a madman.

Umemiya Hajime

He shows up , prepared. He is also wearing your jersey like Nirei as emotional support, but comes with a 360° record camera to record your best moments and watch them later for whenever he wants. Also helps you to analyze your match if you are playing an unofficial/unrecorded one .

Asks your managers to let him in the waiting rooms before the match. Gives you a bear huggie and calls it "your emotional support food for the match". It definitely is.

Everytime the ball is at you , you do some black magic on his eyes. He is watching you pass a curved trajectory from the corner next to your side of the field , to your forward teammate who is in the penalty area face to face with the opponent team's goalkeeper , across the WHOLE FIELD. Then he is like "how in the physics ? The momentum , the gravity , the Newton laws. ALL LIEEE."

After the match , he probably doesn't let you shower in the bathroom of the waiting room where spesifically designed showers exists for players to shower because he is apparently paranoiac. What if they had a cam installed in the booth ? What if sbd tries to harm you and he can't be there because he isn't allowed to go inside the girl's side etc. Instead , takes you home. Helps you with your shower. Then massages you as best as he can.

He has his small garden and he tries EVEN HARDER to grow food for you because in his opinion sports players should eat healthily.

Chika Takiishi

Wasn't interested when you told him you have a match. Because he is canonically apathetic to almost everything. So you had to guilttrap him into coming with some pleading doe eyes and "you don't love me anymore"s.

Endo ended up coming along with you because he is the one who would carry Takiishi to wherever you were playing the match. (My NagiReo heart , they are giving the same vibe 😭)

They were sitting in the front rows because if Takiishi didn't see it properly , he wouldn't be interested. Also Endo fed him things during the match so he wouldn't get up and leave.

Watches you like he is disinterested at first. But after you score a super-goal right from the kick-off line , he goes 😳 and starts actually paying attention. "That was cool. How can she do that ? She looks like an anime protagonist who is on their 'suffering builds character but i have character already so i make other people suffer' era."

When you insult one of your teammates , Endo chuckles beside him and he goes "well deserved. she is learning things from me at least. good. what a shitty play that was ? even i could have passed that one better"

Doesn't yell , doesn't cheer , just...watches. After the match , Endo carries him back in for him to meet you. He gives you a thumbs up as congratulations. But it means so much because you caught his interest and kept it on something for 90 minutes. That was an achievement Nobel Worthy...

Alternative Food Favs for Pretty Cure

Nagisa (FWPC)- I know her favorite foods are canonically Takoyaki & Chocolate, but I imagine her also liking Pumpkin, a food that she loves to have mostly during autumn. Her favourite pumpkin related dish is Kabocha Croquettes, something her mother fixes for her, especially on special occasion (winning a big lacrosse game, when she’s feeling real down etc.).

Kirara (GPPC) - I imagine her having a special soft spot for Anpan (Red Bean Bread). This food brings her joy because of how nostalgic it is, a childhood favorite. Back when she was younger, she often stayed with her grandparents while her parents were away during their careers. They owned a small bakery in a old part of her childhood town and sell pastries and breads. One of their most popular? Their red bean bread.

When they made their bread, they put all their hard work and love into it, at least that’s what they used to tell Kirara. 😉 So every time she smells and eats anpan, she’s immediately reminded of her grandparents. She plans to visit them again one day soon.

Komachi (YPC5) - Not necessarily a food, but a certain kind of tea. Mint Tea, basic and predictable, but a tea she really likes. Mint Tea and improves digestion, freshens your breath, and improves concentration, so it’s prefect for when she’s writing.

Yayoi (SPC) - Natto beans. Hear me out: it’s a food she remembers that her father liked, but…she actually doesn’t 😅 However, when she’s older, out with friends or eats dinner over someone’s house and the beans are being served, nothing but a couple of add ons can’t fix. Usually she’ll use things like soy sauce, rice etc. She doesn’t prefer it, but it’s nothing that she can’t handle lol

Minori (TRPC) - Papaya. A food that she never had (canon), but tried shortly post series (headcanon). The whole reason why Minori named herself Cure Papaya was because she like how the fruit looked and sound. It looked amusing to her.

Hime (HCPC) - Pancakes. Similar to Kirara, it’s a food that’s nostalgic to her and a simple childhood favourite. When she was younger, from having nightmares. to having a bad day, her mom went out of her way to fix her special homemade pancakes. She doesn’t only like pancakes because she’s a spoiled brat lol 😂

Erina Nakiri with advanced cook! Reader (specifically with unorthodox ingredients that end up tasting good.)

-When she first met you, she didn't think much of you, you weren't hailed from a particularly high rank family so why would she acknowledge your cooking and–by extension– you.

-Her cooking was that of elegance, sharpened with years of hard work and grueling treatment, none tended to stand as her equal

-The god tongue, known to all as indisputable. A gem in the world of food, a talent so rare it's only natural it'd be gifted to Erina

-No taste was beyond her tongue, all knew of such. Down to the water used to boil it, no part of a dish would go unnoticed.

-Such high ranked talent; it's obvious that her food would reflect that

-You came from a middle class family with a diner that ran in your lineage for years, nothing big, but large enough to hold your whole heart

-It was there that you gained experience a classroom could never teach

-You gained insight and efficiency where the grade was more than a pass or fail, it meant no customers

-Taken after your mother, you loved trying new things. No ingredients were beyond trying no matter how odd

-You and Soma would get along, I fear. You both have no fear in trying anything, no matter how weird. He’s never short of impressed when you turn his monstrous culinary disasters into a dish fit for a noble

-Safe to say there’s only a select few that think you have any chance. Even with your talent, it is still Erina. Who could beat her?

-From how she behaves, i can tell she’d be more than taken aback

-The flavor profiles, presentation and combinations were much too refined to overlook yet that doesn't make the sting of utter defeat less infuriating.

-It’s only when you passed by a classroom on your way to survey the pantry when you stop

-Hm, that blonde girl…is that guava paste and apples? Was she messing about with those?

-She was testing the flavor profiles, but her tweaking of it showed her lack of experience in the craft

-You only enter the room, dipping a finger into the tasting dish

-Her flustered ramblings were lost on you, it was a sight to see

-She did definitely feel something was off with the taste, but would changing the kind of apple make such a difference?

-That day was a weird day for Erina. You didn’t slink back from her tone or give her biting words much attention. You just kept assisting, guiding her through your technique without needing a word of praise

-You two spent the afternoon finishing that glaze, a comfortable silence Erina thought. She didn’t have that often. Someone so close without trying, you didn’t beg for her expertise. You carried yourself as the chef you knew you were, no encouragement required

-At first, she did think you were in over your head. Yet seeing the chef you were before her eyes. No compitetion or prying eyes, just you two.

-That’s the flutter, the one that made her feel like her lungs were on fire. She could barely get her words out when she did speak

-For my sake, let’s skip to after you two start dating.

-You two have the cutest dates. Nothing fancy or expensive. You just head to the market and pick out whatever ingredients look good and cook up together. Every dish held a piece of both of your crafts, unorthodox and refined.

-She figures out quite early how quite you tended to be when cooking

-You had to have interpersonal skills for serving and dealing with customers but it was different when you were in the kitchen

-You moved in calculated silence, words weren’t really necessary then

-You compromised where Erina was concerned. You understand she’s no mind reader, so verbalizing your moves made things go smoother

-You take turns playing Sous Chef for one another in some classes

-seeing you two together never rouses much suspicion if only for the fact that you two only talk of cooking in public

-You’re probably halfway through explaining some weird sounding list of foods you’ve been experimenting with and she just chimes in like she’s known it all her life

-She was taught to be refined in every aspect but I like to think you give her a more spontaneous side

-She’s much more kind when she’s close to you so expect plenty of affection when it’s just you two

-She might think she’s slick about it but even dense as ever, Souma pointed out your silver rings on a gold chain around her neck

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #132

I did a few things today. But as per usual, I started today with making a mug of tea. Today's was genmaicha; mine is loose-leaf:

...This means you gotta stick it in a tea ball. The glass mug is about 2 cups, so 2tsp of leaves have to go into the tea ball:

...Hunter is blurry, but he follows me literally everywhere I go, and looks on with great interest as I do most anything in the kitchen, haha! My tea ball is really old. I've had it since before this shop called Teavana stopped being a thing. As far as I know, it was bought out by a bigger corporation and then ruined, so now all the wonderful tea flavors they used to make, like "strawberry misaki blooming tea" and "tiramisu" are nothing but distant memories now.

...That strawberry misaki blooming tea... I think you really would have liked that one. I surely would have enjoyed taking pictures of it for you...

In any case, you pour the boiling water over the tea ball like this:

Today I thought it might be neat to add buckwheat honey to the tea. This is very dark, somewhat bitter honey that tastes somewhat like how dried hay smells. And... yes, I realize that I probably described it in the least appetizing way possible, but I promise you, it's actually pretty good - it's just that a little goes a long way.

...Unfortunately, it's been so long since I've had it in the house that I may have forgotten that little detail...

Well. One of the things I got at the co-op yesterday was a half gallon of goat milk. I used that in today's tea:

...Shortly after this, J asked for me to come along as emotional support while he talked to the local airplane mechanic about the plane we crashed in recently. As it turns out, the cost of materials and labor would exceed the price of the plane itself, so it is likely going to be scrapped. It's a shame, but it is what it is, and it's important to remember that J and I are extremely lucky to have walked away from what happened without even getting injured. Everything else is kinda small potatoes by comparison, ya know?

On the way there, I managed to snag this picture of a bird-of-prey for you; maybe you'll think it's neat:

I had intended to make myself a breakfast in the morning, but I waited until J and I got back from the airplane mechanic before doing that.

I started by cooking some rice:

From there, I cooked some garlic-and-wine sausages that I got from the co-op yesterday:

As you can see, once they were done, they left behind a lot of delicious juices in the pan:

...I cooked some duck eggs in those juices.

...I wonder if you might be able to see where this is going! Haha! Yesterday, I found fresh natto, and black garlic kimchi at the co-op:

...From there, with all the assembled ingredients, it becomes easy to throw together a pretty epic and wholesome rice bowl!

...I know, I know, using a fork for this is probably blasphemy, hahaha! Suppose I just didn't really wanna dirty some chopsticks when the fork I used in order to pull out some kimchi was just as usable.

In my experience, the best thing to do is to mix the ingredients in the bowl together in order to get a balanced flavor:

...It was delicious!! But I felt like it was still missing something, so I fixed it by adding a little bit of cheese (also blasphemy, I know, hahaha! but blasphemy can be delicious, I promise!):

...Today was mostly another chill day. I mostly did leisure writing instead of productive writing. So unfortunately, I don't have anything insightful or profound to say to you today, either - just good tea and tasty snacks. But I like to think that these are just as valuable, especially on an empty stomach and a lonely heart.

...I used the salt and oil trick on the pan again to make the eggs. I let it sit on the heat for a long time. Perhaps a little too long; it smoked mightily, and it was enough to make my eyes water and make it hard for me to breathe (asthma is another one of my numerous physical glitches...). I got really dizzy at one point. It was super dumb.

I took the pan outside to cool off, opened all the windows, and flapped a towel around to try to get the smoke from the oil and salt out of the house. I got somewhat lightheaded in the process, and my head still feels kinda weird and fuzzy, even though this took place hours ago by now...

...Those eggs didn't stick though. Not this time. Not even a tiny little bit. It seems almost impossible - like a dream; I wonder what the physics are that make this trick work...

Hey, Sephiroth? My head still feels really weird and it's kind of hard to write (I wonder if you can tell? Hmm...). So I suppose I'll end this one here.

Sort of a continuation of this post.

Likes frogs (based on his liking of French cuisine and fafrotskies (<- I discovered, while writing this post, fafrotskies is made from "falls from the skies" and isn't necessarily just frogs, but in my head, it's associated with frogs due to his and Samatoki's conversation in Halloween Night)).

Liked travelling the world when he was younger, although he probably doesn't like it as much now he's tied to Shinjuku Central Hospital. This is probably where he learnt about French cuisine.

Would get along with Gentaro (based on Panic at the Mountain), Jyushi and Riou (the latter two based on Yokohama Ramen Battle).

His love of natto is born out of his love for weird things. He probably likes other weird, strong-smelling foods as well (e.g. durian, surstromming) and might even like Riou's food as a result.

Is a voracious reader, but doesn't usually have time to read between his other commitments. His bookshelf has a variety of texts, but a big chunk consists of medical textbooks.

Doesn't have the heart to go around pointing out medical inaccuracies in media unless he's asked to by someone else to keep people happy/save face.

Ya know what that means?

It's a big huge loving Happy Birthday to our Ash!!!!!

For his birthday, I wanted to write something, so here's a very appreciative appreciation post for my favourite character of all time.

Here's just 20 reasons I love him with all my heart and soul.

1. His birth name. Aslan Jade Callenreese. His mum (or maybe just Yoshida being Yoshida) even made up "Aslan" to mean dawn/daybreak in hebrew when it actually means lion in turkish. However I like to interperet that, similar to a lion's mane, the sun shimmers with a golden light, and that's what his old lady meant when she named him Aslan to supposedly mean dawn.

2. His hair is also golden and reminds me of a lion's mane! And it's long. I love men with long hair!

3. His inner child. Ash has always been childish at heart and his most treasured memories are his childhood with Griffin. I love that as he opens up to Eiji, he starts showing his childish side more and more too.

4. His fear of pumpkins 🤭 mf is scared of a vegetable for christ sake!!! What a goofy thing to be afraid of. Cute though.

5. His jokes. Shit like telling Eiji to go watch Sesame Street, or being given an inkblot test at the hospital, the researcher asking what the inkblot sheet looks like, and he responds "Your wife". Countless examples of this cheeky fucker's one liners!

6. Speaking of which, that attitude he has. He's brutally honest, never backs down, says it like it is, and is unfiltered. He's smart whilst cutting the bullshit.

7. He knows how to lead, he sets goals clearly and he's strong and unwavering whilst not being outright cruel.

8. His fiery energy, especially being a Leo (more lion theming hehe) he's sucha a passionate person and that's a trait I both relate to and admire.

9. He remains loyal to his friends, through thick and thin, and even tries to understand people he has a bias against (Max for example, before they became like father and son.)

10. Despite being a gang leader, he does genuinely care for human life and doesn't like people dying for no good reason. Man's got morals.

11. His perseverance. Despite the cruel world trying to tear him apart time and time again in every possible way, he carried on with his investigation and his fight because he knew it was the right thing.

12. His intelligence! The dude can write advanced essays on politics and science and he does so for actual useful research reasons, not just to be a smartass.

13. He's the kind of person who drinks milk straight out of the jug. No, seriously. Look at this:

14. His fashion sense! I love his denim jackets, his hoodies, his ripped jeans, even that plain boring ass white shirt he loves to wear so much!

15. He agrees with me that beans are fucking gross. I don't blame him at all for being so petty about natto!

16. He's canonically bisexual. (This isn't debatable, his two canon crushes are Eiji and a girl he liked when he was 14. If you insist he's gay or straight you can get your biphobic ass outta here.) It means a lot to me as a bi person to have that sort of representation, plus it explains a lot of things, like the aforementioned hoodies and denim jackets (big same!).

17. He's the kinda guy who sits to read a good book. I'm kinda envious of his habit to read things that aren't just from a screen, but I also really want him to read to me. Storytelling podcast with Ash Lynx anyone?

18. His relationship with Eiji. They bring out the best in each other. Eiji helps Ash open up and express the emotions, good and bad, within him, whilst Ash inspires and helps out Eiji to get stronger, more independent, and more confident in himself and his abilities. Easily my favourite relationship of all time. They compliment each other perfectly and are so lucky to have each other.

19. His kindness and protectiveness towards children. He of course had a lot of respect and fondness towards Skip, and inspired Max and Jessica to become better parents to little Michael. He knows how vulnerable kids can be, and wants to protect them from violence and abuse. I love that he refuses to let these vicious cycles of parental neglect and child abuse continue.

20. His ability to love beyond all else. Love is what motivated him to save his friends and allies, take revenge for his brother and others he lost, and protect people from atrocities. Despite everything he went through Ash was, is and always will be that loving playful, childish at heart boy who cares for his loved ones beyond all comprehension. His love for Eiji and his friends expands beyond the universe.

And that folks, is just 20 reasons why I love Ash from the deepest part of my spirit. He has inspired me in so many ways that I cannot even begin to go into right now, but just know thar he is an absolutely incredible character with such an important impact.

Some Random Historian Butterfly Fun Facts

After finishing the newest chapter I’ve been thinking a lot about the Historian Butterfly series. I decided it would be fun to quickly write down some fun facts/headcannons about the characters. Most of these will be about Fukuro. These are things that might not come up in the story or are not covered in depth. Nothing here will be super big spoilers. They might come up in future chapters, but they won’t be a big deal. These are just small fun facts. This was a really fun way to get more of a feel for Fukuro’s character so let me know if you enjoyed.

If Fukuro had a breathing style it would be Water Breathing according to the official Demon Slayer Fanbook. I’m not sure if she would stick to that or use/create another style derived from it.

Fukuro is demisexual biromantic with a preference for women. She doesn’t really see people in a sexual way until she gets to know them. The thought of being sexually intimate with a stranger makes her sick.

In this AU, my headcannon is that Shinobu is a lesbian.

Fukuro is 6’0”. This makes her dynamic with Shinobu hilarious to me.

It’s been implied in earlier chapters, but Fukuro used to put a lot more care into her appearance when she was in high school and middle school. She wore lots of makeup, styled her hair, and loved putting together cute outfits. Once she went to college she got very busy and invested in her research, so she stopped.

Similarly to the previous post, Fukuro also used to wear her contacts much more often. But she started falling asleep with them in when she would spend days researching. Anyone with contacts would tell you how badly this would dry out your eyes. As a result she wore her glasses a lot more to avoid the issue.

Fukuro was very popular during her high school years. Ironically this is why she struggled to make genuine friends. This is also why she prefers to be called by her first name.

Both Fukuro and her sister have different shades of blond hair. Fukuro’s is strawberry blonde, while Emiko has platinum blond hair. This is because their grandfather was from the USA.

Ironically, Fukuro was scared of butterflies as a kid. This is because she once stepped on one and thought she was going to die because it was poisonous.

Despite her clumsy nature Fukuro has never broken a bone. She does have a small scar under her lip due to her teeth going through it when she was little though.

Fukuro doesn’t actually know for sure if she is in the same timeframe as when her great grandmother was a kakushi and when Muzak was defeated. Her memory is fuzzy enough on her grandmother’s stories that she hasn’t figured that out yet.

I like to think that Fukuro’s great grandmother is the equivalent to some sort of background character that always seemed to stumble upon important events. That’s why she knows so many stories.

Fukuro’s great grandmother’s name was Suzume Takara (If I’m correct then her first name means Sparrow)

Fukuro’s insomnia comes from her great grandmother. Her grandmother and mother have similar issues.

Fukuro, as well as her parents and siblings, are all fluent in sign language due to Emiko being selectively mute for a while.

Fukuro’s mother, Yua, is a lawyer. Her father, Hiroshi, works at his family’s bakery.

Fukuro’s back up plan if being a historian didn’t work out was to become an elementary school teacher.

Fukuro’s favorite food is natto, which is fermented soy beans with rice. Most people don’t like it. (It’s one of Japan’s least popular foods and considered an acquired taste) Her least favorite food is cinnamon rolls.

Fukuro is very good at lying, even when it’s on the spot. She knows the best way to lie is to say mostly the truth and leave out details, letting others make assumptions. She hates doing this though.

"hey toge, do you think we could talk for a minute?" sayaka askes, fiddling with her fingers as she does.

"mmm tsuna okaka" the joking tone in his voice is clear as he says this, and sayaka just deadpans at his obvious trolling.

"no, im for real toge, i need to talk to you for a moment" she reaches out to punch his arm softly as she says this, face straight. sensing the serious tone he immediately turns his full attention to her, setting down his switch.

"tsuna, takana? mentaiko" he reaches out to grab one of her hands, tone reassuring.

"well, eariler, at lunch, when we were joking around with the others, and you joked that i wasnt attractive enough for you, i laughed it off in the moment, and i truly didnt mind it then because i knew you were joking. but after sitting with it the rest of the day i realized it bugged me more than i thought, and im honestly kinda hurt from it. so, if you could refrain from making jokes quite like that i would appreciate it." sayaka explains, holding his hand tightly, not fully able to make eye contact.

"takana, tsuna mayo okaka. natto, shouyu, okome" her cheeks unwillingly turn red at his words and she tries to pull away but he just holds her tighter.

"toge! you cant just say stuff like that!" she cries out face a pretty pink still. "but thank you... i love you too, okome kiki." feeling warm at his reassurance she's glad she came to him about this. he gives her a warm smile watching her face closely to make sure shes actually okay.

"tsuna mayo, furikake mentaiko." he suddenly pulls her towards his desk where his abandoned console lay, the theme for mario cart just repeating incessantly.

"huh? you want me cheer you on cause you suck so much at mario cart?" sayaka teases easily a smirk on her face. toge lets out an offended noise that makes her laugh outright, even after he yanks her down into the chair next to him.

"mentaiko natto." his voice is stern, determination shining though, a clear pout on his face.

"okay okay, you have my full support kiki, show that computer whos boss" she relents easily, unable to hold up under his adorable pouting. his eyes immediately light up at her words.

"shake!" he exclaims starting the next match enthusiastically. sayaka just giggles at his actions, heart calmer than it had been all day.

☠️ - angry/violent headcanon!

Oughhh I love Kaneki being angry and violent 🥰🥰 I think sometimes when Shironeki is very emotional, he’ll seek out groups instead of singular ghouls to eat but also to lash out on and toy with a bit. He repeats a lot of the trauma that was inflicted onto him but usually pushes it out of his mind by the next day and can’t recall it. If he finds one guy separate to the rest of the group, he’d break their limbs to keep them from getting away, then go find the rest of the group to kill in front of them if they didn’t answer whatever questions he wanted. Since his mind isn’t there altogether the questions can be about things he doesn’t really need information on, since they’re more to justify the ordeal to himself as an interrogation. Also, whoever he decides to be most pissed at would end up with some serious head damage (sometimes half of it is even missing!!!). At the end he’ll eat everyone’s kakuhous before leaving. Very often I like to imagine him popping into a public bathroom to get changed after this sort of thing, then pop into McDonalds and order a coffee to sip while people watching and having mild thoughts on eating even more :3 he’s so cute sitting there aww I wish he could eat soggy fries too

▼ - childhood headcanon!

Kaneki wrote a lot of stories as a wee lad. When he was living with his mother he’d write a lot of fantasy inspired things about different worlds with dragons and elves. They were very descriptive, and he had a huge imagination! Many were set in the same world which he’d use as a form of escapism. The main character was usually a boy just a bit older than him, who’d kill monsters with spells he learned from books, and receive lots of praise from his family and friends. As he got a little older he gave the boy a lot of his own hardships and had a lot of his friends turn on him for things that were out of his control, then had him forced to kill his own mother. He later felt EXTREMELY guilty about this and tossed out the entire book.

When he moved in with his aunt he wrote memos about the nice things he used to do with his mother and some vent pieces that would get scrunched up or burnt. He took a lot of inspiration from Takatsuki too, and wrote some fanfiction with the characters in another book he guarded with his life. Sometimes he’d even do drawings to match the story and Takatsuki’s real works :) he became a pretty good artist and used his new skill for lots of good things (drawing his and Hide’s “ideal girlfriend” every 2 weeks)

Hello! Am sending a questions about your Ascendence of a Bookworm x Resturant to Another World AU.

Which was you favorite part to write so far?

Has anyone traded goods such as plants or meats from Yurgenschmidt (hope I remember how to spell that) to Nekoya yet?

How well known is the restaurant among the merchants and commoners of Yurgen?

I find it fascinating to think of what the restaurant can make with the plants and meats found in each duchy that cannot be found on Earth.

I like how you managed to show the differences of culture, what the nobles expect to experience vs their real customer service experience, and the way the people who become regulars adapt to it in their own way.

I especially like how you’ve incorporated the regular order nicknames to each person. Once I remember who is who, it’s interesting to think of how the scenarios will play out with those present.

How did you come up for the favorite meals of other characters and do you have a list of them?

Ok so from top to bottom:

My favourite part has to be writing about the Nobles meeting Mestionora, there just this delicious sort of (idk what to call it, karma maybe?) Thing in the air where Nobles are getting treated the same way most of them would treat the commoners you know what I mean, if face of a metaphysical cosmic entity they are *nothing* and the realization of that feels like such a juicy thing to write.

Yes, Mako and his fellow chef Leo are always trying to find ways to incorporate local food from Yurgenschmidt and the other world into their resrurant menu, Rozemyne traded a few fruits and veggies for cacao and coffee beans in the beginning when Alexandria's country gate wasnt connected to the land of sand. Now Rozemyne only imports cacao and about a kilogram or natto every week.

It's a bit of an Urban legend amongst merchants, especially travelling merchants, some don't belive it, others swear they saw it, benno makes a lot of money from all the new exotic foods Rozemyne brings with her to Alexandria and traveling merchants (atleast, the ones who found it) make it a point to find and label all (or as many) Nekoya doors they can find on their way (because food is essential to traveling merchants and their families) tho it's mostly not mentioned in the story itself cuz its a bit irrelevant to the plot (aka: I can't figure out a way to incorporate it without sounding forced it)

I haven't made a list of them. Also I put a bit of thought into the names because that's the least amount of effort I could atleast put into the characters, example:-

Shuu - he's a Vtuber, meaning many sleepless nights, meaning he needs a lot of energy boosts to go about his day such as caffeine, so I chose melon soda because melon soda seems to be pretty popular in Japan.
