National Apricot Day
Snack on this flavorsome fruit, whether fresh or dried, shake up a Barack brandy and syrup cocktail or plant an apricot tree nearby for a handy crop.
National Apricot Day brings a delightful opportunity to show appreciation for and celebrate this pitted fruit that is enjoyed and appreciated by so many. On this day, you are encouraged to add this fruit to your diet, and also to learn about all of the goodness it has to offer!
How to Celebrate National Apricot Day
Eat Apricots, Fresh or Dried
Fresh apricots are tasty, refreshing, and should be eaten whenever possible. Dried apricots are almost as delicious and can be had throughout the year. Apricots are rich in nutrients, so you can’t really go overboard. They can be used in more ways than you think too, so be creative.
Plant an Apricot Tree
Why not participate in National Apricot Day by planting your own apricot tree in your garden? This is a fun activity that can include the kids – and it will enable you to produce your own delicious apricots, rather than having to buy them from the store. Of course, if you live in an apartment this is not going to be possible, so why not support a local grower in the area instead of buying from one of the big supermarkets?
Cook and Bake with Apricots
There are so many delicious and amazing apricot recipes that you can create on this date. This includes some tasty desserts, such as white chocolate and apricot cheesecake, apricot shortbread, as well as apricot, cinnamon, and olive oil cake.
Apricots are not only used in desserts, but are often a feature in appetizer and main courses as well. Apricots even pair well with goats cheese! You will also find that apricot is often used in Moroccan cuisine, as it is a regular feature in tagines. You should have no trouble finding plenty of exciting apricot recipes online for celebrating National Apricot Day!
Celebrate with Apricot Cocktails
Don’t forget to end the day by celebrating with an Apricot cocktail. We have seen some really exciting cocktail recipes online that include apricot or apricot syrup. One of our favorites is an Apricot and Honey Bourbon Sour cocktail. This consists of apricots, apricot syrup, bourbon, lemon juice, and mint. It’s delicious!
Host an Apricot Themed Party
Get the family or a whole crew of friends involve in National Apricot Day through a themed party. Incorporate apricots into various foods, and maybe even celebrate with some Barack (apricot brandy, not Obama!).
Consider Health Benefits
There are a lot of health benefits that are associated with eating apricots. This fruit is an excellent source of both Vitamin A and Vitamin B. It also presents you with a good way of adding some more water to your diet. This is because roughly 86 percent of an apricot is water. The rest of the fruit is fat, protein, and carbohydrates.
Learn Interesting Facts About Apricots
Apricots ripen in the early summer, but they’re quite commonly dried so that way we can enjoy them year-round.
The word ‘apricot’ in Latin purportedly means “precious”, but further investigation reveals that while this moniker is appropriate, it actually comes from Arabic ‘al barqūq’ (“early ripe”) via French ‘abricot’. “Early ripe” is appropriate because apricots tend to ripen earlier than most summer fruits.
Drying apricots has been a common preservation practice for centuries. Most store-bought apricots retain the bright orange color that the fruits have when ripe. Organic dried apricots would be browner in color and the bright orange is a sign that the fruits were treated with sulfur compounds.
Check Out Apricot Kernels
While we already know that apricots are quite good for you, traditional Chinese medicine takes that a step further and utilizes apricot kernels quite freely. Since the Chinese are believed to have domesticated the apricot tree, it’s only fitting that it bears significance there!
Learn More on National Apricot Day
Some people might agree that apricots are underrated. They don’t seem to get the attention that apples, melons, and oranges do, right? However, apricots are incredibly delicious, taking a standard dish to Michelin Star heights when used effectively! They offer a number of different health benefits as well.
The apricot grows on a small tree, which tends to be between eight and 12 m in height. While this fruit can be found all over the world, its originates from the North East area of China, close to the Russian border.
The fruit that this tree produces is a drupe, comparable to a peach. There is only a single seed inside of the apricot, covered by a hard and stony shell, known as the kernel. The flesh of the apricot is very tasty, but it’s not very juicy.
History of National Apricot Day
From what we could find on the matter, the apricot tree was domesticated in China some 4,000 years ago. From there, apricots made their way across Asia to the Mediterranean region. The Spanish Conquistadores introduced apricots to the Americas back in the 16th century, planting the trees all over what is now the west coast of the United States.
Today, while the US is not among the top producers of apricots globally, 95% of the apricots grown in the United States come from the San Joaquin Valley in California. Apricots are tasty, healthy, and should be eaten whenever possible. Therefore you should enjoy apricots in celebration of these wonderful golden fruits.
National Apricot Day was founded with the purpose of honoring and promoting this fruit that deserves a bit of attention!

National Margarita Day🍹: A Celebration of the Iconic Cocktail
Tumblr media
National Margarita Day is coming up on February 22nd this year. It’s a fun holiday to celebrate the popular margarita cocktail. Lots of people enjoy margaritas, especially in the summer. The drink is made with tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. It has a tangy, citrusy taste that people love.
National Margarita Day provides an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate this iconic drink. It’s a time to appreciate the Margarita’s unique flavors, versatility, and cultural significance. Many bars, restaurants, and cocktail enthusiasts participate in the festivities by offering special Margarita promotions, hosting Margarita-themed events, or crafting new and creative Margarita recipes.
History of National Margarita Day
National Margarita Day is all about celebrating this yummy tequila drink, but where did it come from? No one knows for sure, but there are two fun stories!
One says a bartender named Danny whipped one up in the 1930s for a customer who couldn’t stomach most alcohol. He mixed tequila with lime and salt for a smoother sip, and boom, the margarita was born!
The other story says it evolved from another drink called the Daisy, originally made with different liquors but eventually switching to tequila and adding orange liqueur for more punch.
So, the margarita’s origin is a delicious mystery, but National Margarita Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy this refreshing drink, salty rim or not!
How To Celebrate National Margarita Day
Celebrating National Margarita Day can be a fun and enjoyable experience. Here are some ideas on how to celebrate this special day:
Enjoy a Margarita at a Bar or Restaurant: Visit your favorite bar or restaurant known for their Margaritas and indulge in a delicious Margarita. Many establishments offer special Margarita promotions or menu items on National Margarita Day, so take advantage of the opportunity to try something new or savor a classic Margarita recipe.
Host a Margarita Party: Set up a fun bar with tequilas, mixers, fresh lime, and toppings. Let everyone mix their own masterpieces and hold a taste-off! Don’t forget fancy glass rims and yummy snacks to complete the fiesta!
Try Different Margarita Variations: National Margarita Day is your chance to get fancy with this classic drink! Don’t settle for the usual – try adding fresh fruits like strawberries, mango, or watermelon, or spice things up with jalapeños or habanero. Feeling adventurous? Freeze it for a cool treat! Find recipes online or unleash your inner mixologist and invent your own unique margarita. Cheers!
Attend Margarita Tastings or Events: Check if there are any Margarita tastings, workshops, or events happening in your area on National Margarita Day. Some venues or mixology schools may offer special Margarita-focused events where you can learn about the history, techniques, and art of crafting Margaritas. It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and palate while enjoying the festivities.
Make Homemade Margaritas: Snuggle up and celebrate National Margarita Day at home! Grab some tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and ice (recipe optional!), and whip up your own delicious margaritas. Feeling creative? Play with the ratios or add a twist with fresh fruits or herbs. Cheers to a cozy celebration, margarita-style!

On the Marketplace of Ideas
Watching ContraPoints before bed, and I'm thinking she might - unfortunately - be right about polarized reactions.
She opens with Anita Bryant, who went on an anti-LGBTQA campaign in the seventies, concerned as she was "for America's children". In interviews, she'd claim that she actually loved gays and lesbians - enough to try and "save" them from their supposedly mortiferous ways.
It's hatred, yes, but phrased in a grating, faux-gentle and caring sort of way that probably felt like nails on a chalkboard. Compare and contrast with the way the community responded.
We're talking protests, picketing events, novelty toilet paper with her face printed on it, rotten fruits, dead cockroaches and human feces being mailed to her, her entire campaign as a promoter of Florida's citrus exports ground to a screeching halt and becoming a meme before memes existed as we know them. Bars both hetero and gay-friendly stopped serving orange juice-based cocktails because their association with OJ and Bryant was too toxic for business.
Her career was torpedoed. The El Gee Bee Tea went nuclear, more or less, some three generations before we fine folks would pioneer the Kung Pow Penis meme on the Hellsite.
In terms of actions taken, the essayist argues, there's not much difference between pro-somethings and anti-somethings. It ultimately boils down to one group trying to harm another because tempers run too hot and either group is convinced words have run their course.
In the modern day, CP equates that to JK Rowling. She, too, has been torpedoed, excoriated, vilified, mocked, jeered at and summarily ridiculed - and she more than certainly aided and abetted groups that did the very same to the LGBTQA community.
If the only distinction between two groups is who targets who, seeing as both groups have their avenues of civil discourse, their academic studies, their trench warfare scenarios and their stated victory conditions - then how do we distinguish them based on their actions?
It really makes you think: LGBTQA rights are backpedaling across the US and far scarier people are actively trying to campaign against us across Canada and America.
What's Rowling done, in comparison? She's written some books, Tweeted some shit, donated some money to asshats that don't even have so much as have national support in her home turf of Great Britain, and, oh - had her period in the limelight where her stuff was perceived as just harmless enough to give Frodo Baggins, Gandalf and a couple Uruk-Hai a case of the cold sweats.
And that period has more than likely passed, judging by the middling reactions to HBO's announcement of a 10-season epic focused on everyone's formerly favorite Gentleman Scholar in-training.
I'm not criticizing, mind you; I'm genuinely asking: Is the whole kerfuffle around Rowling much ado about nothing, at the end of the day? Even recent book critics admit her stuff's lost her lustre! Why do you think Pottermore and the Wizarding World project leads are so eager to shove more Potter down our throats? It's her one calling card and her single strongest breadline, after all!
Plus, imagine a situation where everyone on our side of the controversy behaved as sedately as the figureheads calmly explaining they were fighting for human rights on Prime Time television. Would the gays and lesbians have had an easier time at acceptance if they'd let one-off and self-professed crusaders have their day while they focused on the battles needing to be fought in the halls of power or the minds of the many?
Later on, Natalie tracks down Noah, her fellow unfortunate cited opposing party in Megan Phelps-Roper's The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling. Even he, as a trans man, admits that more good is concretely made in focusing on what can be done in order to offer shelter, protection and care to those in the community. Openly confronting TERFS, in a sense, is somewhat less productive, in his eyes, than regrouping and strengthening our efforts at acceptance.
You have to admit; watching the bigots flail and tear their shirts open when you're just - standing there is fairly satisfying a thing, in its own right...
The only winning move is not to play - and I sometimes wish my own peers would stop giving into bigots' games. Let them play on their own, hm?

I love travelling a lot, however there is nothing better then going to my grandparents’ house in a medium sized town in the middle of the countryside
Hi, i am from Brazil
My favorite place is ibirapuera park, in my home city
I love traveling so much, but there is nothing better than Christmas dinner with my family in são José do rio preto

People think i am a gringa all the time, mostly western European people think i am german, or even Brazilians are constantly convinced i am Scandinavian. Brazil is a heavily immigrated to country, there are people from all over the world here.
I have been to argentina a few times, but i would love to visit peru
Arrombado, very honestly you better just look it up to know what it means, but it is just so usefull
Clarisse Lispector and Machado de Assis
I have not been exposed much to Portuguese to English literature, however english to Portuguese i feel that it looses some of the original intention that only people who speak the language get to feel with words
Wearing white in new years to honor Yemanjá, making a big deal at lunch time (going home from school to have lunch)
Love it. Brazil is a creative powerhouse.
É pavê ou pacumê?
I hate that Brazil is a sexual country, there are gringos who come here for sexual tourism as if that is all that is to the people and the country. I strongly agree that we are happy, receptive and overall party people, in fact i love us for it.
Brazil’s history is a shitshow of left turns, i love to study it.
Yes, every county here has a different accent, in fact the northern, amazonian Portuguese is entirely different from southern, gaucho Portuguese. I speak with a São Paulo accent.
I LOVE our flag, i LOVE our anthem, i do think that the brazilian anthem is the most beautiful from the entire world. Our emblem is “order and progress”, which is not always true however they are words to live by.
Footbal/soccer. Undisputed. Football culture is very strong here, you can form communities based on what team you go for (PALMEIRAS FOR LIFE)
Our current president and our most recent former president. In fact, i would send the city of brasilia (where all the politicians are) never to come back
I am so proud of our natural beauty, our art/music, our people are the best, but i hate our history. Brazil is a country who was based on colonization and slavery, the latter one which affects our societal structure to this day, and was abolished in a really shitty way. But above all, i HATE with a BURNING PASSION Brazilian politics, the people in command are all clowns and they are ruining it for everyone.
A cocktail named caipirinha, it is made from cachaça (a liquor made from sugar cane syrup), sugar and a fruit of choice.
The Gringos (people from the USA who are not Americans because America is a continent, white europeans, australians) and Argentinians, maybe people from Paraguay

São Paulo is forever is beef with rio de janeiro, there is even a joke involving biscuits, cariocas say biscoito and paulistas say bolacha.
We were colonized by Portugal, most people’s ancestors (including me) are Italian because of immigration, there are so many venezuelanos trying to immigrate here. Yes, it is a mostly immigrant country.

A resort stay combines luxury, adventure, and relaxation, making it the ideal getaway from everyday life. A day at the resort guarantees that every minute is full of delight, whether you’re looking for peace by the pool, enjoying exquisite dining, or exploring the surrounding area. Let’s go over the perfect day at a resort, emphasizing the events and pursuits that contribute to an unforgettable retreat.

When the sun’s first rays peek over the horizon, the resort’s serene surroundings come to life. The peaceful ambiance created by the cool morning breeze gently stirring the leaves is ideal for beginning the day. In order to fully appreciate the natural beauty and breathtaking vistas, you can begin your mornings with a leisurely stroll around the resort grounds. The early hours are the ideal time to appreciate the peace and quiet. Yoga in the morning at any outdoor space at the resort is a great option for those looking for a more dynamic start. It’s the ideal way to centre your mind and prepare for the day’s adventures.
Breakfast delight
Following the serene morning practice, you can enjoy a delectable breakfast in the resort’s dining area. The breakfast spread at a resort generally appeals to all palates with an exquisite blend of regional, national, and international cuisine. You can enjoy your favourite morning treat from the array of beverages, fruits, sandwiches, bakery goods, regional breakfast options, and so much more. Breakfast at a resort is always a pleasant and relaxing experience, which helps kickstart the day with an amazing mouth-watering taste.
Mid-morning adventure
Post breakfast, you can choose to have a dose of adrenaline-pumping activity, selecting from the range of activities the resort has to offer, such as cycling, swimming, or a few light exercises at the gym. Some resorts also offer gaming and sports opportunities to keep the entire family engaged. Or, you may choose to play on the resort’s spacious lawns, taking part in treasure hunts, or riding the slides. And, if you don’t wish to get into any kind of adventure yet, you can always relax by the pool or have a nature walk in or around the resort.
Lunch feast
After fun and relaxation, you can then get to the dining area again to enjoy a delicious meal, incorporating a wide variety of regional, national, and international menus. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are also generally available for those with special dietary needs or preferences. Evening sunset
Observing the sunset at the resort with open skies is the best way to unwind after the day. The serene views offer the ideal setting for contemplation, whether one is seated in a cosy lounge, on a terrace, or by the pool. The sky changes to orange and pink hues as the sun sets, bringing about a breathtaking sight that signifies the arrival of twilight. You can enjoy the scene with light refreshments, such as mocktails, cocktails or a glass of wine, or get the same at the resort’s rooftop, club, or poolside bar during this time. This is the ideal time to relax, talk to loved ones, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

Trump Tariffs Could Drive Up Grocery and Liquor Costs, Impacting Items from Beef and Pork to Avocados and Tequila
U.S. consumers could see higher prices and potential shortages of items like avocados, strawberries, and other fresh produce next year if President-elect Donald Trump follows through with his plan to impose tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada, according to agricultural economists and industry leaders.
Mexico and Canada are the top two suppliers of agricultural products to the United States, with imports valued at nearly $86 billion last year, based on data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Customs.
Imposing tariffs on food shipments from these countries could have significant financial and operational impacts on U.S. food supplies, highlighting the nation's growing reliance on its neighbors to feed its population.
Trump announced on Monday that he plans to sign an executive order on his first day in office in January, which would impose a 25% tariff on all products coming into the U.S. from Canada and Mexico as part of his efforts to combat illegal drugs and migration.
U.S. consumers would feel the effects at grocery stores and restaurants if tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada are imposed, with some items becoming scarce, warned Lance Jungmeyer, president of the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas, on Tuesday.
Tumblr media
"We would see fewer items overall in the produce section," Jungmeyer said. "Restaurants might have to adjust their menus by offering fewer fruits and vegetables or reducing portion sizes."
According to the USDA, Mexico is responsible for about two-thirds of all U.S. vegetable imports and half of the country’s fruit and nut imports. This includes nearly 90% of avocados, 35% of orange juice, and 20% of strawberries.
Since 2019, avocado exports to the U.S. have surged by 48%, as demand for the fruit has risen for use in salads, sandwiches, and more. The U.S. market now accounts for approximately 80% of Mexico's avocado exports, a trade valued at $3 billion last year, according to USDA data.
Alfredo Ramírez, governor of Michoacán—the primary avocado-producing state in Mexico—warned that tariffs would "generate an inflationary spiral."
"Demand wouldn’t decrease," said Alfredo Ramírez. "What would rise are costs and prices. This would lead to increased inflation and have direct consequences for consumers."
Supplies for margaritas could also be affected. In 2023, U.S. imports of Mexican tequila and mezcal—key ingredients for cocktails like margaritas—totaled $4.66 billion, a 160% increase since 2019, according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. These spirits make up nearly a quarter of Mexican agricultural imports to the U.S. each year.
The Council warned that tariffs on spirits from Mexico and Canada would harm U.S. consumers and lead to job losses in the U.S. hospitality industry, which is still recovering from the pandemic.
Tariffs could also drive up the cost of fertilizer imported from Canada. Farmers are already paying nearly 50% more for fertilizer than in 2020, according to Sam Kieffer, vice president of public policy for the American Farm Bureau Federation. "Now is not the time to send shockwaves through the agricultural economy," Kieffer said.
Impact on Livestock and Meat Prices
Trump's tariff plan could also slow the migration of over 1 million cattle exported by Mexico to the U.S. each year, which are crucial for the U.S. beef supply.
U.S. cattle herds have been reduced in recent years, raising beef prices. If tariffs reduce cattle and beef imports, U.S. producers could benefit, said Bill Bullard, CEO of the Ranchers Cattlemen Action Legal Fund United Stockgrowers of America.
While tariffs may increase meat prices for U.S. consumers, Bullard believes importers and meat processors may absorb some of the extra costs. "We look forward to tariffs," he said. "It will help level the playing field for our domestic producers."
To the north, tariffs could disrupt the flow of beef and dairy cattle and hogs between the U.S. and Canada. Manitoba alone exports about 3 million piglets annually to U.S. producers in states like Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, where feed corn is cheaper. These animals are raised and fattened before being sent to slaughter, with pork products flowing between the U.S. and Canada after processing.

National Kiwi Fruit Day
Quick trivia question: where does the kiwi fruit originate from?  I’m sure you want to say the land known for kiwi: the fruit, the bird, and the people–New Zealand.
It’s one of the things we really think of when the Southern Hemisphere nation is brought up.  But kiwis didn’t come to New Zealand until the early 20th century, and were brought over from mainland China.
But Kiwis embraced yang tao–the Chinese name for kiwi–and by 1962 the fruit had become so synonymous with the country that they dubbed it “kiwifruit,” to go along with the rest of the country.  (It’s popularly known that the kiwi fruit was named after the kiwi bird, because they’re both small, brown, and fuzzy!)
Nowadays, New Zealand isn’t even the main producer of the vine-grown berry fruit–that happens to be Italy, whose southern lands hold the best year-round climate for growing kiwi fruit.  But it’s still the official fruit of New Zealand, and everyone around the world wants to eat a kiwi from the land of kiwi!

It's National Strawberry Day. Nothing screams British summertime like the clocks going forward, rain, Wimbledon and strawberries and cream. Those little red fruits, bursting with juice. Perfect with sugar, cream and even chocolate. A strange fact is that despite the name, they are not actual berries. They are part of the Rose family. Legend has it that if you split a strawberry in half, and share it with someone you are interested in, they will fall in love with you. The juice can also be used to sooth sunburn and whiten your teeth. One of our most versatile fruits, being used in cakes, ice cream, milkshakes, jams, yoghurts, even alcoholic cocktails. The garden strawberry, which is what we tend to eat. Was first bred in Brittany France in the 1750s. The fruit was a cross of two species, one from North America, and the other a variety introduced from Chile at the start of the 18th Century. The fruit was however grown for hundreds of years before this. Ancient Roman literature mention the fruit, as do texts from numerous other European countries. And natives in Chile were cultivating the fruit long before producing the variety used in the garden strawberry. Wimbledon The famous tennis championship at Wimbledon is known worldwide for its thrilling matches and classic games. It is also known for the 28 tonnes of strawberries covered in 7,000 litres of cream that is munched through every year. There is no definite answer to why this is a tradition. Historians think that it was started by Thomas Wolsey, a powerful figure in King Henry VIII's court. He held a banquet in 1509 where strawberries were served. This was unusual at the time, as dairy products were viewed as a food for the peasants. It just so happened that Wolsey's palace, Hampton Court, had its own tennis court, where strawberries and cream was served to the spectators. So legend has it that the dish became associated with the game. Strawberries And Cream Cart Hire For Weddings And Parties Of course the more boring explanation is that when the tournament began, strawberries happened to be in season, and were in fashion in Victorian England. So it was a natural treat to partake in. English Strawberries A fact about Wimbledon is that all of the strawberries are grown in the South of England. Many regard Wimbledon as being almost tennis in an English country garden. During the pandemic when the tournament was cancelled, part of the crop was turned into jam. I suppose a version of when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Other Toppings Strawberries And Cream Victorian Cart Cream is still our most requested topping, but we can supply strawberries with chocolate (milk, white, dark or coloured), ice cream and custard. A great summertime treat for your guests or clients, especially around Wimbledon time. So happy National Strawberry Day Resources Wimbledon Championships Love Food Read the full article

Where have all the B’s gone?
We all know what happened to the Bison, but what is happening to B’s like Birds, BatsandHoneyBees, and to Bugs such as Butterflies and Beetles. And, what is happening to our own Bodies and Brains?
The National Library of Medicine asserts that Bees are key indicators of a healthy environment. Bees pollinate 80% of flowering plants, fruits and vegetables, produce honey and make antimicrobial properties used in traditional medicine. According to National Geographic, we have lost 25% of Bee species worldwide since the 1990’s alone.
Pesticides, habitat loss, pollution, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, disease, parasites, monoculture agriculture, changing weather patterns, and the ever-growing list of Chemical Cocktails are to blame. Pesticides lower Bees’ immune systems, thus weakening the hive and leaving it open to parasitic infection. The Eden Project states that since WWII the country of Britain has lost 97% of their wildflower meadows, leaving Bees with little natural habitat.
According to Greenpeace, the number of Bee colonies per hectare has declined by 90% since 1962. Wild Bee habitats shrink every year as agribusiness converts grasslands and forests into monoculture farms. As a result, biologists have found more than 150 different chemical residues in Bee pollen. And, like tobacco companies who for years ignored the damning carcinogenic studies, present day chemical companies like Bayer, Syngenta, BASF, Dow, DuPont and Monsanto shrug their shoulders at the problem and advocate no change in their toxic chemical policies. After all, selling poison is extremely profitable.
Across the globe, Bug populations in general are in decline. According to PNAS, a meta-analysis of 16 studies concluded that Bug populations have declined by 45% in the last 40 years. According to a study in the Journal of Biological Conservation, 40% of all Bug species are threatened by extinction and fading from places where they were once abundant. The accumulating evidence in ongoing scientific studies is now well beyond disturbing.
Birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish eat Bugs and are dramatically impacted by toxic chemicals. Bats feast primarily on Bugs and in places their decline is up to 90%. According to the National Park Service, Bats save U.S. agriculture $3 billion a year by eating Bugs naturally. Butterflies and moths have also declined some 58% on farmland. Beetles, which break down manure in pastures, are also in decline. Stanford University maintains that such cascading effects have already been witnessed in Puerto Rico, where a recent study revealed a 98% decline in ground insects over 35 years.
Unfortunately, this devastating chain reaction does not stop there. The CDC claims that humans are also heavily affected by this proliferation of chemical toxins. Cancer, strokes, diabetes, ADHD, and a multitude of mystery illnesses are on the increase. Forbes states that 170 million Americans could be living with one or more chronic conditions by 2030. An analysis published in the Journal of Biological Conservation blames unwarranted chemical use as one of the main drivers.
Humanity needs to WAKE UP! We MUST consider our children. We MUST CHANGE the way we produce food. We MUST eliminate agrochemicals, insist on organic food and support organic farmers. We can all help put an end to this catastrophic path we are on if we help educate one another, and above all, STOP BUYING THE POISON. We better do it quickly, because the poisoning of our planet has already gone too far and procrastination will have grave consequences.
In the meantime, you can learn the best way to protect your health and the health of your loved ones. Combining science, history, spiritual wisdom and over 50 years of personal experience, Fasting Firepower by Marjan is one of the most insightful books ever written on fasting and detoxification from unnatural chemical toxins. NO ONE SHOULD LEAD A DEBILITATED LIFE FOR LACK OF THIS VITAL INFORMATION. The straightforward answers may surprise you, challenge you, and quite possibly save your life, or the lives of your loved ones.
