Ikevamp Boys x To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before pt.1
N/A : This is my first time doing headcanons, but i hope you guys enjoy it as much as i wrote it. And also, you can play Lauv - I Like Me Better to get the vibes better while reading. Xoxo!
Premise : You only likes the boys you never had chance with. For every crush you have in your life, you wrote one letter for them. It’s not like typical love letters because you wrote it when you’re going to get over your feelings and of course, you’re not going to give it to those boys. But, one day, without you noticed, those letters were leaked. When you realized it, you knew you’re going to die soon, or maybe no.
Napoleon
A kendo athlete at school.
The charismatic neighbourhood boy, also your childhood friend. And mostly like your forever crush.
But, sadly he’s dating Josephine, another girl in neighbourhood.
And absolutely have no idea about your feelings towards him.
So, when you already get over your feelings for him, Napoleon has broke up with Josephine.
One, day he received your letter and it surprised him alot, because he never expected that you’ll have crush on someone like him.
He directly go into your house which only take six steps away from his house.
“All this time, y/n why you never say it?”
How the hell i’m supposed to say it when you’re with someone else!?
Leonardo
Everytime you go to library, you always can spot him in there. Either sleeping or reading some thick books that you don’t really want to know what is it about.
You two gets really close since you came to library often and he spends most of his times there.
Mostly he was sleep, but when you saw his sleeping face, you can’t help but to think it’s kinda cute.
He’s also really mature and someone that you can rely on.
But, to think that he’s really too good for someone like you, make you giving up on your feelings.
You were in library, when he abruptly approaching you with your crimson love letter in his hand.
No, no, no. Oh, my God. This is ain’t happening...
“I think this one belongs to you. It seems personal. i think you might want it back.”
Arthur
Your typical popular boy that every girl swoon at him.
Charming and also a potential player. The cassanova type.
Your crush in 5th grade and also your classmate in english literature class.
The way he writes and his vocabulary amaze you everytime in english literature class. Reading every poems and stories he writes was your fondness. You still secretly kept the poems he write for school’s magazine in middle school.
Highly intelligent, but not enough to figure out your feelings.
in afternoon after school, he received your letter and...
“I already sensed that you have a feelings for me, but i never thought you’ll confessing in old school way. So, romantic, y/n.” He teasing you in the hallway.
You groan and try to snatch up the blue love letter in his hand, but failed.
“Arthur, you gotta know that i wrote that letter when i was in 5th grade!”
Arthur laughing seeing your reaction. His smirks getting wider when he says, “Who ever tought that you’re so cute, y/n?”
Mozart
The cold boy who doesn’t speak alots in class. Mostly throw icy glares to everybody. If his glance could kill, maybe many people has died already. But, you’re one lucky people who didn’t receive much of his glance because he didn’t find you annoying like most people.
You two shared the same music class in 7th grade and now.
You have liked him for almost one year. The way he playing piano at homecoming and spring fling, makes you head over heels for him.
But, sadly you tought that he wouldn’t interested in romance, especially that you’re just an ordinary girl. So, you moved on.
When he went home, he picks up every letters in his mail box and see one of it was from you.
All of sudden, he approach you after music class.
“I’m... flattered actually.” He said in flusttered face and icy blue love letter in his hand.
Oh, my God (2)
Vincent
The typical angelic boy who brighten alot the school’s mood.
You two shared the same art class in 6th grade. He was the most talented student in that class.
One day, you forgotten to repurchase your gouache and you almost run out of it for art class. But luckily, Vincent got a spare of gouache, so he lent it for you.
You never realized your feelings, until one day when you saw him painting  in the art class alone after school. You’ve seen him many times painting at class, but this time you don’t get it why you feel like you’re bewitched when you saw him painting.
He looks like an angel that makes an artwork. You can help, but flusterred when he turns around you and smile like a literally angel.
“You haven’t go home yet, y/n?”
Since that day, you know you fall deeper and deeper each day to that boy.
But then, you two had different schedule for art class in 7th grade. And after that, you two slowly getting a little bit distance.
He picked up your letter and tommorow showed up in front of your house at the morning.
“Goedemorgen, y/n!” He smiled gently with a small bouquet of sunflower in his hand and yellow love letter in his hand.
Oh, my God (3).
Theodorus
He was Vincent’s younger brother. Totally oposite from his brother. He is more likely a fallen angel. Literally, Lucifer.
Arthur’s best friend. The typical popular, but rude boy. You keep the intention secretly to punch him right in his face.
Calls you hondje everytime in Dutch class and bully you everytime he got a chance.
Of course, you’re not going to fall for someone like him.
You never know, but Theo actually had a crush on you and that hondje nickname was how he tried to show you about his feelings, even tho everyone knows that’s not how it works.
He enjoys your frowning expression because it looks cute on you.
But, when he saw your eyes when you’re looking to Vincent...
Theo stopped teasing you and act like you were nothing since that day.
You feel kinda missing something. You don’t like to admit that you missing your big bully in dutch class.
That’s how your feelings for Vincent and Theo kinda mixed up.
You ended up wrote letters for those two to make clear how you feel.
And, that dark blue letter supposed not to be in his hand right now.
“I’ve always liked you all this time, hondje.”
Isaac
The genius student in your school and the typical nerd who hang alots in library or school’s lab.
You and him are never crossed each other path before, until you two shared the same physics class in grade 11th and desk.
He was kinda awkward at the beginning, but he helps you alot during class. He even sometimes offered to help you to do homework together after school.
Even tho sometimes, he gets teased by Dazai and Arthur, but you found his reactions are cute.
Physics is your least-likely favourite subject and you’re totally worst at it. But, recently you’ve been finding yourself waiting for the physics class every week.
Just to realized that you’re actually has fallen for your nerd-but-cute deskmate.
Of course, like your previous crush, you just keep this feeling for yourself because you know, you only like the boy that you can’t never have. Until...
“Y/n, i never tought you would feel the same way as i do...”
Oh, my God (4).

Of all the sisters and brothers of Napoleon, which is your favorite? Thank you .
Oh man! This is a hard one. I love them all, really.
I think I’m going to have to go with Joseph. I like his fraught relationship with Napoleon, the push and pull is interesting. I think it must have been a weird space to occupy as the eldest sibling who is absolutely not the head of the family when, socially and culturally, he would have expected to inhabit that role.
He’s also a bit overlooked as well as he’s not as chaotic as his siblings. And I’m a suck for the overlooked ones with bittersweet relationships with their louder siblings. But, for all the guff he gets, especially when compared to Napoleon (gods, who wants that to be the standard against which you are ranked) I think he deserves credit.
Joseph was well read, erudite, charming in his own right. I don’t think he was as quick witted or sharp as Napoleon (or Lucien) but he wasn’t a complete fool which I find is how he got painted for a while. He also tried hard to be a good king but was hamstrung by Napoleon.
Joseph just wanted to live deliciously! Napoleon kept expecting him to work. But also kept telling him what to do and never let him make his own choices. So that’s a clearly successful brotherly relationship.
Yet, Napoleon so clearly loved Joseph. Had that adorable line when O’Meara asked about what Joseph was like and Napoleon said: “Between the two of us, he is the kinder man. And the better looking.”
Joseph also wrote that heartbreaking “I am looking forward to meeting my brother again in the elysian fields” letter. Which is very melodramatic because Napoleon’s reply of “Dude, it’s been twenty years of course I’m not the same as I was when I was fifteen” is right. But at the same time, the essence of what Joseph was trying to say (I miss my Brother, not the Emperor) is clear. And it’s tragic.
I always love me some bittersweet family relations.
-
runners up:
Caroline: Smol but mighty. Will fight you. Absolutely was ready to throw down against Napoleon in a Denny’s parking lot. Adore her relationship with Murat, it’s so sweet and salty and spicy. The entire range. Just Wanted To Be A Queen Ok??
Lucien: Melodramatic bitch who self-exiled himself because he’s the emo scene kid in the family who never grew out of that phase. Love that he sent Napoleon his writing and Napoleon just red-lined the entire thing. Lucien had guts to do that because Napoleon is an evisceration machine.
Pauline: Icon! Statues made out of kisses! (Napoleon: Josephine don’t say things like that!! Josephine: I said what I said.) She, like Joseph, just wanted to live deliciously and I respect that. Screamed so much to be made a princess that she fainted. Napoleon, of course, gave in. Because he was categorically unable to deny his family (especially his sisters) anything.
Elisa: Smart cookie who should have run off and made her name as an Intellectual in a swanky salon in Paris, honestly. Just as intellectual as her three older brothers but isn’t really recognized for that. Absolute Nerd. Overshadowed by her more chaotic sisters who are complete menaces.
Jerome: Guy Got Game. Married that nice yankee girl but you know, when offered a princess ... I can see why he made the decision he did. Poor Elizabeth though. But man, Jerome invaded more bedrooms than battlefields and was, I think, more of a ladies man than his other brothers save, possibly, Joseph. Learned his catechism from Napoleon which probably explains a lot.
Louis: Sorry Louis. You’re all right but Hortense is better, and so are all your other siblings. Poor soul though, clearly got fucked up in that one battle. Became a bit of a hypochondriac and had the world’s most unsympathetic brother(s). Napoleon’s approach to dealing with mental health was “shove it down shove it down” because that’s very healthy and never goes wrong. He tried very hard to be a good king of Holland and I really respect him for that. Pushing back against Napoleon and everything - good for you Louis.

thank you! :D :D

Reply time!
First of all, thanks to everyone who offered up kitten name suggestions! They aren’t born yet (but will be if I play the game tonight), but I am now prepared with names for them. :)
Anyway, these are for @kayleigh-83, @mrningbrd, @carriests2designsworld, @acquiresimoleons, @nathanialroyale, @nyshabrokeit, @getmygameon, and @penig...
kayleigh-83 replied to your photoset “Amelia Shankel – Adrian and Gwendolyn’s spawn – became a toddler. She...”
LOL that laziness might be an impediment to skilling though!
Well, not for the toddler skills, though. My rule is that I lock toddler skill wants in the order they appear (besides potty-training, because that just happens naturally because of the toddler care schedule I employ in households that have toddlers). If there’s another Sim in the household with time, they will teach the kid the skill they have locked. Only the locked skill can be worked on until it is learned. Then I lock the next one the toddler rolls (if they roll more). I’m perfectly OK with toddlers not learning all of the toddler skills. Or any of them, for that matter, although they are all eventually potty-trained by default.
kayleigh-83 replied to your post “Name My (Pixel) Kittens! :)”
Weird true fact – years ago I read a historical fiction novel about Josephine Bonaparte, and after reading it, I decided that one day I wanted a pair of cats named Napoleon and Josephine because the pair of names were just so perfect together. So seeing them on your Simblr was kind of a trip!
It was unintentional on my part. A random pet name generator spat out the name “Napoleon,” and I went with it. (Had no idea it would actually fit him pretty well. :) ) And then when there was a want for another cat, it seemed logical to get a female named Josephine.
As for the real people...Say what you will about Napoleon, but he did love his wife. Their love letters are like, whoa! :) It’s too bad that they were never able to have children, or else I’m sure they’d’ve stayed together to the end. Or at least I hope they would have. Maybe in an alternate reality... :)
kayleigh-83 replied to your photoset “Promotions! This is where Adrian and Gwendolyn ended up by the end of...”
I'm trying to be better about not power skilling my way through promotions, without them rolling for the want to do so. Much more realistic that way. Although I do allow a bit of leeway for skilling that happens as a result of preferred hobby interactions, because that's its own kind of realism in itself. :)
My whole playing style is centered around Sims free-willing because, IMO, that’s how you learn who a Sim really is. Basically, they do what they want unless they roll up a want that I can actively fill. So, unless they roll up a want for a skill point, I don’t command them to skill. That said, I’ve made autonomous lots of stuff that isn’t by default, and some of it confers skill points. So, if they choose to read a cookbook or work on restoring a car, then so be it, but I’m not going to make them study cooking or mechanical unless they roll a want to do so. That’s how it works for me. Frankly, I find force-skilling and Sims at the top of their careers and raking in ridiculous amounts of money just incredibly boring, so this is what I eventually came up with to mitigate that.
As for Cherry, specifically...She seems entirely uninterested in bettering herself. Her life centers around sex, social interaction in general, bubble baths, and interacting with the dog, in that order. She’s a hedonist, really, and I can relate.
mrningbrd replied to your post “Name My (Pixel) Kittens! :)”
i like that people gave actual french names and i gave a dessert
Ah, but it’s a yummy dessert, so it’s all good! :)
(Is it bad that when I hear the new French president’s surname, I think of the dessert and laugh myself silly? :) )
carriests2designsworld replied to your photoset “I’m going to be using this 10-year-old window set made by Tiggy quite...”
I just finished setting up the base of my new town, Stockbridge. Yeah, well, my recolor list for this is already about 4 pages long. Including windows. So, I'm just going to snag these up, and add to my already-revolting downloads folder. Between your recolors, and mine...I may actually get a real post-apocalyptic neighborhood! LOL
Heh, I’m hoping I’ll get to play retro-Strangetown before the end of the year... :) Nah, that’s not true. I’m building it and making stuff for it concurrently, and I’m only building houses for the premades plus the two households in the family bin, so it shouldn’t be that long. I think. I hope. I can get a little obsessive with the making of stuff...
acquiresimoleons replied to your post “Some random thoughts before I do whatever it is I’m going to do...”
Offensive? Pffft :p i think you're awesome, extremely helpful and kind. I also really enjoy your gameplay, its so unique and entertaining :D
Aw, thank you! <3 I do try to be nice here on Tumblr and online in general...although if I’m feeling tetchy, I’ll occasionally go to Simsecret and argue with people. (Always under my name, though; I don’t do the silly “anon” thing. If I’ve got a beef with someone, I’ll own what I say to them and say it to their “face.” Anon is for pussies.) But in general, I’m a person of strong opinions and I live a...well, alternative lifestyle, both of which have the potential to offend or just piss off certain people, particularly certain people that I know follow me, but I try to rein that in here. I’m here on this blog to be all about a silly game, to share stuff and be helpful when I can, not to pick silly fights or to sling around politics and social issues or to be shocking for the sake of being shocking.
nathanialroyale replied to your post “Some random thoughts before I do whatever it is I’m going to do...”
I've been hmming on retexturing old dirty things for this theme or make them more medieval for my game. Otherwise I am sadly left with little ideas for this theme that could be useful to my current game :/
And oh, hey! Here comes some of that stuff that people might find gross, yay! :)
I am of the opinion that my game needs dungeon clutter, particularly things to hang on walls and/or peg racks. Which could be medieval or...um, not. ;) I’m also envisioning a certain kind of bed. I have a neighborhood wherein I occasionally play around with *ahem* certain things. I mean, it’d be nice if there was more functional dungeon-y stuff, but even non-functional decorative stuff can give the right atmosphere in combination with some functional stuff. Buuuuut what I’d like to have would require me to know how to mesh, which is a vast frontier that I have yet to breach. :) I do already have some stuff that could use some nicer/updated textures, though... I don’t know that anyone else would be interested, though, in terms of sharing. I have no idea how kinky/fetishy the community generally is and/or whether or not people would want to admit to it and/or whether or not other people who are kinky/fetishy would actually want that sort of stuff in their game, much less whether or not GOS would want such stuff posted there. ;) So...yeah. :)
nyshabrokeit replied to your post “Coupla replies before I toddle off to bed. :)”
I used to have inaccessible beds, but it bugs me that sims don't walk as close to the bed as they can before teleporting. The number of times I had a sim stand up from the dinner table and instantly teleport halfway across the house to bed... >.>
I have actually never had a Sim teleport across the house to get in a bed. They will do long-distance bed-making, though. Like, they’ll stand up from the breakfast table and do the bed-making animations while across the house the bed does the animations, too. But, for instance, in order to use the bed-for-three, even if I command the Sim who “owns” the middle space to go to bed, she’ll only follow the command if she’s in the same room as the bed. I don’t know if I have another mod that’s contributing to this, though.
getmygameon replied to your photoset “It’s winter! Time to take care of the autumn leaves because I don’t...”
Just don't catch on fire XD
That doesn’t happen to me, either. I think it’s because I have a mod that prevents fireplaces from starting fires. I’m guessing that burning leaf piles uses the same code, so the mod is nuking that, too.
getmygameon replied to your photo “Hmmmm. where are they off to? :) Oh! :) (I’ve never bred pets before,...”
I only bred once with my - oh my gosh I don't remember which fam - but it was kitties - 3 of em and couldn't tell em apart worth a damn lol XD
I think the game only has a certain number of puppy/kitten coat patterns, so, yeah, kittens all tend to look alike. But they tend to grow up looking very different. Napoleon and Josephine looked the same as each other as kittens -- white kittens -- but they look very different as adults. I suspect the same will be true for in-game-born puppies/kittens.
penig replied to your post “Replies! :)”
There's a lowest-common-denominator factor in HP's popularity, honestly. If you want a truly great fantasy author, read the greatest English language author of the 20th century, Diana Wynne Jones.
Well, I’ll say this for HP. I might not have any interest in reading it, myself, but it got my severely-dyslexic son -- who had great struggles with learning to read and being interested in reading -- to read. He’s always been a rather anti-intellectual jock (which has always irritated me, as a nerd), I think partly to cover up his reading struggles, but even his jock buddies when he was a kid decided it’d be not-uncool to read Harry Potter. So they did, and he did, too. And then because he got through the Harry Potter books, he felt encouraged enough to read some other things, too. So while he’ll never, ever be a great reader, at least he’s no longer afraid of books and he’s more confident that he can read, if he ever wants to. So, my son is probably one of those lowest common denominators, and frankly God bless JK Rowling for Harry. I just don’t have any interest in reading the books myself. :)

I’m doing two, because I can.
Ancient Historical meme from my drafts;
First things first: What’s their name and when and where did they live? If there are any/ you have one, add your favourite picture of them.
Erwin Johannes Eugene Rommel (1891-1944), Germany, lived around Württemberg for most of his life, the occasional world war aside. Of historical note for being a masterful tactician, writing an important book of military theory about wwi and commanding the german forces in the north african campaign of wwii.
Napoleon (1769-1821), France technically but had a great deal of fun on camping trips all over Europe. Of historical note for one-uping Alexander the Great. Created landmark legal, military and social organizations. List of fuckups is longer than most people’s list of accomplishments. One of the most enduring military and political legends of the modern era. Bees.
1. How and when did you first hear about them?
Rommel- I honestly can’t remember. My father is a wwii nut so i was raised on the stuff. I got serious in my interest of him about 12/13 when I first read the collection of his papers translated into English.
Napoleon- fourth grade (about ten years old). We had a section of world history, dismal though it was. In one of the little “fun facts” thing they had a tiny little box describing Nap’s return from Elba with an itty-bitty reproduction of Steben’s Returned From Elba. I thought that sounded like the most badass thing I had ever heard, and was also a little in disbelief because surely someone can’t just walk back and reclaim their kingdom. Like, that shit didn’t happen in real life. So I bought my first biography to find out the real story.
2. What do you like most about them?
Rommel
he tempered his ambition and leadership with compassion and a fierce sense of honor
genuinely seems to have been a nice dude
he and his wife are cute as fuck
was later cute as fuck about his son Manfred
was incredibly clever
was a peach eating lunatic adventurer masquerading as a srs prussian soldier
he was a romantic both in the age of chivalry sense and the modern sense
Napoleon
SUCH A BADASS, oh my god
was an over-invested mono-maniac at all times, which I can related to
incredibly capable in many fields
i have been napoleon and josephine trash since day one
crowning himself. i just love that moment.
was really smart. on a ‘holy shit’ level. (even if he did some massively stupid shit sometimes)
meritocratic promotion structures
hamilton WISHES he were this non-stop.
never gave up, never gave in. even on st. helena he started dedicated his energies to preserving his legend and legacy, to great effect.
3. Is there anything about them that makes you angry or that you don’t like at all?
Rommel
literally worked for nazis
pretty sexist
there’s a lot i disagree with him about, but very few things that make me truly pissed off. ie he was of the period opinion that military men shouldn’t be involved in politics, as he thought that would mean the military as an organization would start defining germany’s political future which would turn into military rule and he was catagorically against that. which i think is both wrong and allowed him, and others in the german army, to disclaim responsibility for political shit they didn’t agree with that was being done by their government. but i can absolutely see where he was coming from, and i think his concerns were reasonable and legitimate.
so yeah. a lot of disagreements, but very few things that just piss me off.
Napoleon
w h e r e   d o   I   b e g i n
allowed his obsession with legend and conquest overwhelm his moral values
sold his honor and his moral principles in order to maintain power
frequently only took into account the human cost of warfare way too fucking late
rampant misogyny
really fucked over Junot
really fucked over tons and tons of people who were loyal to him, from close friends to the soldiers who followed him
got a truly staggering number of people killed on account of his own short-sighted obsessions
to paraphrase the old tv show Wiseguy, You don’t get to shove people around just because your fire burns brighter, no matter how brilliant that fire is.
never gave up, never gave in. even when he fucking should have, looking at you reasonable peace terms of 1813.
4. If you had one day with them in our present time - what would you do together?
Rommel - Aviation museum, he’d absolutely love it. I’d get him to pick some German place to eat and interrogate him ruthlessly about what inter-war rural Germany was like.
Napoleon- Smack him repeatedly in the face for invading Spain  Walk and talk. Have him show me around Paris and have a debate over legal systems. Nerd out over Ossain. Show him a modern bookstore. Let him see how much of his work has survived into the present day. Shove him into at least one shrubbery.
5. What would you like to talk about with them?
Rommel - Engineering, aviation, dogs and funny army stories
Napoleon- All of the things. I can only imagine the conversation would be a pinball game of madness as to topics covered. And okay. I’d have to ask about Waterloo. I’d be that person. I don’t think he’d do it, but I’d love to hear him talk about Corsica.
6. In which way do you identify most with them or a figure they created?
Rommel - He was an intensely practical man who tried very hard to do the right thing and frequently failed. I hope that one day I’ll have the strength of character to try to rectify my mistakes as he did his.
Napoleon - I too am an over-invested, bossy weirdo.
7. Thoughts about their death? E.g.:Was it too early, was it deserved, woud you have tried to prevent it and how?
Rommel- oh god TOO EARLY, UNDESERVED, that poor brave bastard. I mean the fact that he was murdered because of his role in a plot to overthrow hitler and make peace with the allies is reason enough. would have definitely tried to prevent it, but would need like. the a-team to stop it. because you’d have to rescue not only rommel but his family that was being used as leverage against him. unless you’re allowed to go really far back and then i’d just start slapping the shit out of everyone at the versailles peace conference.
Napoleon - hoooo boy. uuuuuuuh. i mean. do i like it how he died? no. does that dislike come from a rational place? ...nooo. best case scenario for me would be he gets shot before the last charge of waterloo. hell if i had my way i’d go back and convince him what REALLY needed done was him personally leading the imperial guard up the hill. heroic, dramatic death and historians get to fight over wellsley actually beat napoleon for the rest of forever. europe also gets a break from napoleonic insanity. which doesn’t happen if napoleon gets to live. once more if you’re allowed further back, i slap the shit out of him before he invades Spain and point out that Ireland is lovely this time of year (it’d still be a clusterfuck, but less of one).
8. Is there a book or movie etc. you would recommend to someone who’s new to the person and would like to learn more about them?
Rommel - The Rommel Papers is a good place to start, there are frequent letters to his wife but the content is primarily military.
Napoleon - Shannon Selin’s website and book. The book is fiction but she is the lord our god in this fandom for her mad research skills. She provides sources for everything, which makes her the perfect jumping off point. (Now if I can just convince her that what she REALLY needs to do is write another book starring josephine)
9. What can we learn from them?
Rommel - when in doubt, bluff like a motherfucker right action is not a mystical, obvious thing at all times, we must do what we believe is right to the best of our abilities while being willing to let compassion guide us onto different paths.
Napoleon -
human beings are capable of astonishing intellectual and physical feats, and the best of our stories can still be written, they are not confined to antiquity.
find friends who will support your goals and then listen to their good advice even when it challenges your ego.
if loud, bossy weirdos can find devoted friends and romantic partners than we’ve got a pretty good shot too.
don’t invade spain
propaganda is half the battle
love, in all its forms, is a resilient motherfucker
don’t interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake
strive to be so badass that hundreds of years later, the historical fiction that is all about fighting you has their characters become complete fanboys any time you actually show up (ft. Richard Sharpe in Down With The Tyrant But OMG Harper Look It’s Napoleon *SWOON*, hon. mention also goes to William “Why Aren’t I French” Laurence).
a willingness to take charge is half the battle for power
bees are a cute fashion accessory and go with anything
10. Would you want to be friends with them if they were still alive?
Rommel - I think he’d be a good Dad Friend to have. Someone to ask for advice and go to reenactments with. A good person for moral/personal advice even if their political/social views are outdated. Definite bonding over dogs.
Napoleon - Would entirely depend on how we met. I feel like we’re similar enough on a personal level that it’d be very easy for our personalities to clash, and we’d have to declare ourselves mortal enemies and neither of us would back down from that because what is admitting you might have been hasty. Or, if fate were kind, we’d get on splendidly with constant low levels of dry sarcasm and prank wars. There would also be lots of emotions everywhere, at all times. People would hide. I have to admit I’d still stab somebody if it meant I got to be a Marshal.
11. The most powerful quote by or about them?
Rommel - have  short one and a long one
"We have a very daring and skillful opponent against us, and, may I say across the havoc of war, a great general."
- Winston Churchill during 1942. During the fucking war. I mean damn, it doesn’t get better. Though since this is easily the most famous quote about him, have a personal favorite;
“Living legends, they project, each in his way, the classic image of a the warrior: brave, vigorous, sharp of eye and mind, rapid in decision, alert in danger, faster and bolder in the fight than his enemies. of this extraordinary brotherhood is Rommel-the brotherhood of Hector, of Rupert of the Rhine, of those who can only be described as heroes; and it is curious that so determinedly practical a modernist as Rommel-the least fanciful of men- should have joined a company so bonded by myth.”
-David Fraser from Knight’s Cross: A Live of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel
Napoleon -
All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others
