I would argue that Megumi leaving Gojo out of his loved ones when thinking about his idealist life with Tsumiki and Yuji highlights the continued tragedy that is Satoru Gojo's lack of communication and connection skills. Okay, so I've had a silly little Yu-Gi-Oh headcanon for awhile now.

I think Lilo and Stitch is the only Disney movie Seto Kaiba likes.

Like, he gets dragged to sit on the couch in his personal movie theater that has all the currently running films with Mokuba(so they don't have to deal with the public and Mokuba can make comments without annoying anyone), and is probably used to watching kids movies he doesn't really care about or enjoy so he kinda just zones out most of time. Disney movies especially, since he'd find them to be ridiculously saccharine and idealistic.

But Lilo and Stitch actually catches him. I can see him immediately seeing himself in Nani and the trauma of suddenly being both an older sibling and a pseudo-parent for their younger sibling after losing their parents. I can see him wincing at the sight of Cobra Bubbles and understanding the genuine fear of social workers taking away his only family. I can see him sympathizing with the struggle Nani is going through with all the work she shoulders to keep her family together while also running into loads of bad luck. I can see him tearing up at the Aloha 'Oe scene. Kaiba would never admit it, but Lilo and Stitch would crack at his heart and would genuinely love the film.

But as a new addition to this head canon:

He eventually sees the live action remake, and suddenly has the urge to go to Bob Iger's house to strangle him. And maybe burn down Aulani with his Blue Eyes.

Full disclosure every time I look at the KumoDesu Fandom I see a lot of takes I disagree with strongly (Reddit what did I expect really)… BUT hating on opinions you disagree with is super wrong instead you should spread opinions you love! So yknow what let me post some of my KumoDesu Opinions unprompted.

Here’s one my biggest HC: Why I see the Demon Army as Family:

I will die on the hill of Shiro and Ariel as the parents to Mera (Oldest), Kyouya (middle child), and Sophia (youngest). But here's sort of why I see the coding that way.

Not gonna be defending/explaining why I ship Shiro x Ariel, it’s obvious.

Shiro and Ariel give the most advice and guidance to the three of them (they quite LITERALLY raised Sophia). Ariel giving the talks working through emotions and Shiro being the more action based parent. They also quite literally are responsible for sorting out all their housing, schooling, and helping with employment.

Mera gives the vibe of the sibling with a bigger age gap than the other two, thus why he takes a less sibling bickering and more sibling guidance role (he also has the self esteem issues of an eldest child ngl). I wouldn’t say he ever takes a parental role so much because he feels more on Sophia and Kyouya’s level as opposed to Ariel and Shiro’s. Mera says word for word that helping Kyouya feels like having a younger brother as well. And since Sophia was originally his responsibility to look after but after Shiro and Ariel join them they mostly take over it gives the feeling of “orphan who expects they have to parent their much younger sibling only to be adopted and now only have it when they’re parents are at work”.

Sophia’s thing with Mera is mostly due to the envy skill. I think her real feelings are deep proactive feelings due to having no one close to her in her past life and the fact that after knowing the truth (and seeing all her flaws) he’s still determined to stick by her side. She’s literally never had that ever, not even a lesser more fair weather version of that. I will also say Ariel, Shiro, and Kyouya fall more into a “do rather than say” kind of love language so Mera being very verbal about his commitment probably floors her. I don’t think she actually wants to date him, I would put it more into “child mistakes familiar affection for romantic and say they want to marry their sibling/parent when young but grows out of it” (yknow what Shun was PRAYING was going on with Sue). I do think Sophia strongly gives the vibe of “overprotective sibling who with “test” all her sibling’s potential dates” to Mera. She’s gonna “vet” those people to decide if they’re worthy and hopefully they’ll live.

Sophia’s relationship with Kyouya is strongly “I’m the only one allowed to bully him” which is just sibling energy 101. She constantly taunts him in any way that proves she’s stronger but if someone else did that to him she would call pathetic and beneath him. Just, if you have a sibling would know this behavior very well. I do think Sophia gives off youngest (and problem child) vibes as always starting shit and needing the most attention from their parents. Where as Kyouya gives of more of a middle child (has severe issues) vibe, where he’s calmer and practiced at not responding to the younger one starting shit (which honestly only pisses them off more). He also did have a ton of siblings as a goblin (that he babysat a lot) so he’s just very practiced.

I know the Puppet Taratect’s as actually Ariel’s (and by extension Shiro’s) children but is it horrible of me to say they give off more pet vibes. Pets are still kids and you can be a pet Mom. I own cats and I LOVE cats, they have that strong energy. Just the fact that they don’t really need to be parented/taught/guidance but do need someone watching them to make sure they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. And the fact that anyone in their group can do it it’s not really something that needs a particular experience/angle. The fact that they’re self sufficient on their own but hang around because they want to is also very cat coded.

Harrington Beach House Road Trip

Steve’s parents told him he could take some trusted friends to the beach house in the Hamptons as a graduation gift, but he had yet to cash that in until the summer of 1986. It had been a hell of a year and his friends could use the time away. Steve told Nancy, Robin, Eddie, and Y/N to pack up because they were all headed to Hamptons, New York. It would be a thirteen-hour drive that doesn’t include stopping for food and bathroom breaks. Steve suggested leaving the night before and taking turns driving so they could enjoy their time there instead of driving. And because Eddie didn’t have as much money saved for this trip, he offered his van for the trip. It was the best option since it would fit everyone and their luggage. Although they were in his van Robin made sure to bring “good” music as she calls it. That didn’t stop Y/N from playing their special mixtape on the way. She took the opportunity to play it while the others were asleep as well. Along the way, the gang needed to stop for gas three times and for bathroom breaks an additional two times. Their first stop was getting gas out of town. The girls took the time to take aesthetic midnight photos. They were also on snack duty running inside to get a few of everyone’s comfort foods for the long trip ride. It was their third stop overall when Robin can be seen running into a nearby bathroom.

“Who keeps giving Robin drinks? The more she inhales the more we stop and we’re already getting there at sunset.” Eddie groaned leaning against the hood, smoking a cigarette. They had already stopped in Ohio and now in Pennsylvania. 

Steve was next up to drive, five hours had gone by, and the beautiful 8 AM sun shined over the beautiful reservoir next to the rest stop. Nancy suggested getting lunch once they reached the Pennsylvania-New Jersey border to which it was grateful for everyone needing to stretch. After lunch, there were two and a half hours left. Thank God because all of them were getting angsty.  Somewhere around 5 PM, they arrived at the house making good timing, especially with New York City traffic. The Washington Bridge was the worst of it, but at least they got to see the city a little while driving through. The salty beach air filled their nostrils driving down Route 27. Eddie parked the van in the driveway of a typical Hamptons home. It was beautiful wood with white trimming. The flowers that were laid out along the front of the house were so pretty. There was a small deck in the backyard leading to the beach. It was a nice little home. It definitely had that Hamptons Nautical feel to it. There was a sunroom in the back that faced the ocean. Across from it was Mr. Harrington’s library slash office. There were three bedrooms and five of them. Steve told Eddie and Y/N to take his parent’s bedroom since it makes him hurl knowing what they have done in there. Eddie certainly did not complain. He dragged his luggage in there along with Y/N and closed the door which Robin dramatically threw herself over the railing fake retching. Robin got a room to herself since as much as Nancy loved Robin, she was a loud snorer. Steve and Nancy looked at each other blushing lightly as they agreed to sleep in the same room, but with a divider in the middle. Eddie, Y/N, and Robin teased the hell out of them for it. Steve ran down the street to pick up some pizzas for the rest of them to have a calm night stretching out and watching a random sitcom. 

They spent their first day leisurely relaxing and trying to catch up on sleep and meal-prepping for their time there. Cooking for the week was left up to the girls. Not that they wanted this responsibility because they are women, but because they didn’t trust Steve and Eddie not to burn the house down. Lunches were easy grab-and-go sandwiches they put together in one meal prep. The same went for breakfast unless they went to a coffee shop, bagel spot, or brunch. Dinner was a little more intense than just a few items here and there. There was more prep into it. Two nights during their stay they went out to dinner, but other than that they stayed in and cooked like a family. Robin, Nancy, and Y/N got along perfectly. They acted like sisters in the kitchen and each of them had specific roles. Whenever Steve would try to come in for another beer Robin would hiss at gim, She did the same to Eddie when he tried to sample from one of their stations. 

Having spent their first day resting and exploring what was around town, they headed to the beach early the next morning to enjoy the day. They stopped into the grocery store and local markets getting a few things they would need for the week.

“I am tanning, getting some swimming in, and sleeping. I need this.” Robin stated laying out all her stuff and slipping a baseball hat on. She turned to let Nancy apply sunscreen. Y/N followed Nancy’s actions and applied sunscreen on Eddie. He wiggled like a baby not wanting to be touched but she refused to take care of a sunburnt Eddie. Y/N had to last summer and it was hell. There was a cooler filled with sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. Sand got everywhere but no one minded. It was better than Indiana mud. The gang swam for a while keeping an eye on their stuff, but Steve got a little worried and went back to sit for a while. Nancy and Robin fell asleep for about an hour under the umbrella shade while Eddie and Y/N walked along the beach finding seashells.

“This trip has made me realize something,” Eddie said picking up yet another seashell to add to his girlfriend's collection.

“What’s that, my love?” She smiled up at him.

“That this is reality and that I am going to marry you someday. So…” Eddie trailed off bending down on one knee and holding up the perfect baby seashell. “With this token is a promise that one day I will make you an honest woman and ask for your hand in marriage. That I will never leave your side and to love you with every fiber in me.” He looked up at her squinting from the sun. Y/N stood there shocked, but tackled him in kissing repeating “I love you” and “yes, yes, yes”. They walked back to their set up hand in hand not mentioning a word to anyone.

Some teenagers from a few houses down set up a beach volleyball net. They saw the gang playing in the water and asked them to join. Mainly because they wanted Nancy on their team. Steve wasn’t all too happy but that gave him motivation to win against the other team. They played for a while before the girls got tired and the boys got too intense. Y/N had to reapply another layer of sunscreen to Eddie before he continued. They started taking monetary bets on who would win. Eddie not being athletic showed them up. There was money at stake, of course, he was going to give it his all. They ended up taking that won money and paid for a nice meal with it for dinner. The next night word got around about some campfire happening. Steve told the group that every once in a while the neighborhood older kids get together and have a bonfire on the beach. 

Some beaches allow bonfires and others don’t, but this specific one did. He knew of a couple because of their parents but it was not like they would turn people down.

“So basically it’s a beach bonfire block party?” Nancy said grabbing a few blankets. Steve nodded and closed the cooler placing it in the car. Eddie brought a small bag of weed thinking that it would give him some sales and Steve wouldn’t notice. Y/N hated the thought that he still had to sell to make enough money, but he has been cutting back which put her at somewhat an ease. They walked down to the beach from the house and spotted the fire easily. In true Steve fashion, he was flirting with every girl there while Nancy sat a little sad.

“You know he’s doing that to get a reaction out of you. You two still harbor feelings, just go for it. And if it doesn’t work, then at least you’ll never keep wondering.” Y/N sat next to Nancy handing her a drink while they watched Steve from across the fire. They were interrupted by a drunk Robin running and yelling happily bare nude into the ocean with a couple of other people. They laughed hard grabbing a towel and wrapping her securely around it making sure no one saw more than they should. Robin would be mortified in the morning, but that was tomorrow’s problem. 

Shinnecock Bay was one of the largest bays in the Hampton’s. It is located in the Hampton Bays which isn’t too far from the house. The group decided to go here for a picnic relax kind of day. Beach days were reserved for fun and soaking up the sun. Lake days were strictly for boating and relaxation.

“There are quite a bit of picnic tables. Let’s pack a lunch and snacks. We could catch a boat ride around the lake as well. I’ll charm my way to get us on one.” Steve said grabbing things we would need.

“What? What charm do you have? How many girls have you been on a date with and are still single?” Robin laughed putting on her sunglasses and slightly shoving his shoulder playfully as she ran down the stairs outside. The lake glistened with the sun shining bright on it. Trees littered the park beautifully which gave enough shade. They brought books and read to themselves, played in the water, and the guys did some light fishing while the girls somehow got their way onto a boat. It saddened them that this was their second to last day here in the Hamptons. This week had been needed for them all, but it was a different lifestyle that everyone except Steve was not used to. Nancy joked about marrying rich to live this type of life and have the rest of them stay over. Before they left, they went tubing and relaxed in their inflatable tubes soaking in the last bit of the day’s sun. The drive back home saddened them. They watched the beautiful water crashing against the sandy beaches one last time heading for boring Hawkins, Indiana. A town where no one wanted to be. The sun was coming up as they were leaving. No one wanted to leave in the middle of the night. They didn’t care if they got home really late. The post-vacation blues were definitely setting in. Robin even teared up a little. 

“Even though we’re all sad, I’m glad we did this trip together,” Steve said looking at all of them. They all agreed happily. Y/N turned the music up higher as they belted songs the rest of the way home.

Horseland Age Headcanons

Time for me to show up out of the weeds with my completely unsolicited headcannons and theories for obscure television series that I should be way too old for again lol. Today's victim:

Horseland

There seems to be a general consensus on the ages of the various human characters in Horseland. That fanon conclusion being that the main characters are all around 15 yrs old, with the exception of Will, who is slightly older at 16-17 years old. I disagree with this assessment.

First let's look at some direct quotes from some of the episodes.

Episodic Evidence

1) Episode: "You Can't Judge A Girl By Her Limo" (S1E1)

"You calmed Button down better than I could and I've been riding her for five years!" - Alma Rodriguez

This quote provides some clues about Alma's age, or at least the minimum age that Alma can be. Most riding instructors will take students at the age of 9, with some taking as young as 6 years of age. Being's that Alma's dad is the manager at Horseland, I think that Alma would have began riding at a very young age. By that logic, Alma is somewhere between 11-14 years old, unless she rode a different horse before Button.

2) Episode: "Fire, Fire, Burning Bright" (S1E5)

This episode has some interesting quotes that may give clues to the main character's ages, or at least the Stilton girls ages and Will's age.

"Let me get this straight, you got all the way to middle school without learning to swim?" - Molly Washington

Wouldn't it be odd that Molly specifically mentions Chloe and Zoey making it to middle school (11-14 yrs old, in Canada from Wikipedia) without having learned how to swim if they were high school aged (14-18 yrs old)? If they were in high school, she probably would've said that instead. Beings that the series likes to remind us that Chloe is older than Zoey, that would mean that Chloe is about 12-14, and Zoey is around 11-13 years old. Either that or they are twins, but that doesn't seem to be the case (I myself have a sister that is 1 and 1/2 yrs older than me, and I also had a close relationship to her growing up). The only evidence I have seen that points to them being twins as opposed to being siblings close in age is the names rhyming with each other (Although my mom's friend's four grandchildren all have names ending with the -en sound and I went to school with twins that had non-ryhming names so that isn't a very strong argument imo)

"But I was in charge of the trip. I am responsible for everyone." - Will Taggert

This one's a bit less obvious, but as a volunteer that has worked with minors on weekend retreats before, I know that organizations and schools typically require (often by law) at least one faculty chaperone to be 18+ yrs old and to have clearances stating that they have never abused a child or commited a crime (usually, they also want more than one adult chaperone per group as well, but we'll let this slide based on the fact that there are only 5 minors going on this trip). From this line and his role in this episode's plot, we can deduce that Will is the staff member from Horseland facilitating this overnight event, and thus is at least 18-19 years old. This makes sense. Will has a rather unique role in the series compared to the other characters. He is a sort of groundsman and riding instructor at Horseland, rather than a student. His aunt and uncle (Bailey's parents) are also his employers. Reasonably, if I had to pinpoint a narrow age range for Will, I would say that he is 18-21 years old, although I wouldn't discredit him even being as old as his mid twenties (at least in season 3), almost solely based on his demeanor and almost laid-back relationships with the other main characters. His behavior in this episode even supports this. I went through a similar predicament, albeit on a smaller scale, while acting as a hiking guide at the age of 20 on one such aforementioned retreat. I blamed myself for potentially endangering these students, even though they were told to follow my lead and instead went off trail at one of the more dangerous parts of the trail. Likewise, Will blamed himself for the forest fire, even though it was really Chloe and Zoey's actions that caused the fire, for the sole reason that he was the adult responsible for the trip and all the students he took on it and thus is immediately liable for anything bad that happens (Well more like Horseland would be liable, and Will would be at risk of losing his job and/or facing fines or criminal charges). From this episode and how Will progresses throughout the series, I'd say Will is in his early stages of leadership and that is why I chose an age range closer to the ages of majority in Canada (which depends on which province Horseland supposedly exists in). I know some of y'all may be thinking about this, so I'll address it while I'm still on Will. In several of the episodes featuring competitions, while we never actually see him compete, Will is on Jimber and wearing typical dressage wear as opposed to his jeans and t-shirt (See "Changing Spots"). Some may say that this proves that he is actually a student as well. It may be possible that he is a student as well, and simply tutors more ameteur riders in his free time, but this says nothing about his age, only that he would be more advanced than the other main characters. He also could be dressed like that just for show for the competition. Regardless, it is safe to say that Zoey has been riding Pepper for at least 5 years. That would put her in the same minimum age range as Alma, 11 to 14 years old.

This ones a bit of a reach, but what teenager thinks that 30 is old? I certainly didn't (then again, I did grow up surrounded by family members that are elderly, so take my words with a grain of salt). Regardless, this statement solidifies the argument that Chloe is probably middle school aged, rather than high school aged. As we progress from childhood to adolescence into adulthood, the perception of "oldness" changes. Have you ever seen the vine where this little girl (likely kindergarten aged) famously says "I'm 16! I'm a grandmother!". If you were a middle schooler, you probably would consider 30 to be old. There are many articles that document this phenomenon:

5) Episode: "Heritage Day" (S03E10)

"Zoey, they eat mosquitoes, not teenage girls." - Nani Cloud

This line takes place after the girls are frightened by a group of bats sharing the cave they took shelter in from a storm. This line clearly states that at this point of the series, most if not all of the main girls are teenagers (ages 13-19). We can conclude one of two things, depending on how one percieves this show's timeline, since the line is said towards the end of the show's final season. A) The girls have always been teenagers or B) There is a time skip between season's 2 and 3. For me, B is plausible if we try to explain Bailey and Will's voice changes cannonically. But B is also not plausible considering Will is already an adult and would have already undergone a voice change. Thus I will say that the ages of the girls are constant through the series at the lower range of the teens, perhaps even preteens.

Plots and Storylines

Next, let's look at the plots of the episodes. A lot of the episodic plots support most of the main cast being preteens or in their very early teens. Molly getting her first cellphone, Alma getting her first crush, Chloe lying about being able to do an advanced jump to impress her peers, Sarah getting her first taste of death through the loss of a beloved pet, etc. Not to mention, many of the episodes are driven by some drama being stirred up (middle schoolers are notorious for being awful to each other). These are all typical problems that preteens face during this stage of their life. You may be inclined to think that all of the MCs are in middle school from this, but there is some evidence for some of the characters being slightly older than others. In the episode "The Best Loss", Molly is out with her friends at a pizza parlor with no parents in sight and has been able to take the public bus to and from Horseland on her own for the entire duration of the series. In the episode "Talk, Talk", she's even talking to her friend Amber about what she should wear to a party. This leads me to believe that Molly is slightly older than the other girls. Bailey also falls under this category. In the season 1 episode "Boss Bailey", Bailey is left in charge of Horseland for a day when his parents and Will have to go facilitate a parade. Even with Bailey being the owner's son, I think that they would not want to leave a middle schooler in charge of an entire riding school. Bailey is also used as an example during a lot of Will's lessons to the other MCs, demonstrating jumps, meaning he's probably more advanced than the other riders. He also does a lot of the groundwork and maintenance with Will (such as in "Pepper's Pain", "Fire, Fire Burning Bright", and "Wild Horses"). For these reasons, I think Bailey is a bit older than the girls.

Conclusion

I could go on and on, analyzing each character's behaviors one by one, but I'd essentially just be rewriting the show's script interspersed with my own interpretation. That is most of what this conclusion is, my interpretation of the characters based on my own life experiences and the collective characterizations the show provides across its three seasons. So with that being said, here are my guesses as to the ages of the characters.
