No her parents pass away before the ending of The Art of Being Seen actually. They’re pretty up there in age now, Queenie does a good job with keeping up her appearance, as expected. As soon as she sees a grey she's at someone's salon lol . And not to spoil but them passing is a major plot point in the story coming up.

Geoffrey did take their name and you know what, the scene where Queenie visits Johnny at the hospital and she’s standing beside Geoffrey was when I was going to discuss but i cut it due to the script and pacing and what not. Basically, when Nancy and Geoffrey was talking about what to name Johnny , they settled on Jonathan Osteer- Landgraab. Geoffrey tells Queenie this and she firmly suggests they drop the Osteer and leave it at Landgraab since the name has more meaning and privilege. To which Geoffrey says he wanted to give their son something of his own family since he took the Landgraab name. And she pretty much bitches him out and he removes his last name.

So, while this particular convo won't happen exactly like this, this situation does come up later on about Geoffrey marrying into the family and his manhood and so on.

One of the topics of part III is Nancy's sex drive. She's definitely fizzles out of the whole sleeping with a man thing soon and she's just a complete dog in heat for like 90% of the story lol so them bumping purses is not as often as the early years of their marriage and if it is, she's making him wear his raincoat lmaoo

Love is a funny thing. It can make you feel safe, amazing, happy and offer you comfort in times of hardship. But people often don't talk about what losing the love of your life can do to you. Suddenly that same feeling that offered you all those wonderful things now leaves you feeling alone, bitter, angry and miserable. It's a feeling I never expected to feel.

Then I lost my Johnny and with him my heart. We were together for six amazing years. It's now been ten without him. All because his family couldn't love their son. Johnny's family had disowned him long before I came into the picture. He wanted to be an actor and a comedian. They wanted him to go into the family business. When he chose his happiness over what they wanted they cut him off.

Johnny thought nothing of them when he and I started dating. They'd long been out of his life at that point, but people talk in towns and when the Landgrabbs learned their son was with a man they wouldn't let it go. They often called him demanding he fix the damage he'd done to the family. Johnny would argue with them often and inform them they had no right to his life and how he lived it.

I begged him to let me put a protection spell on him. He assured me it wasn't needed that his family were assholes, but they weren't violent. My Johnny was naive and trusting like that. He was wrong. I used to think magic was the most powerful force on Earth. When my Johnny died I learned money was far more powerful.

Money can allow you to hire a hitman to murder your son in front of his husband. Money and status can also allow you to get away with it. Especially when you milk the grieving parents and little brother angle. I tried and tried, but I couldn't get him justice the old fashion way. But I wasn't going to let the Landgrabbs get away with what they had done.

A week after Johnny's funeral the Landgrabbs donated three statues to the local park before moving away. Statues that have an uncanny resemblance to Geoffrey, Nancy and Malcolm. You'd almost swear it were them. I visit the park on occasion and it never fails to bring a smile on my face to see bird poop on the statues. My powers may have weakened greatly when Johnny died as is often the case when a spellcaster loses their true love, but I still had enough power to turn people into stone. A fit end for the monsters who took my Johnny from me.

After many years of grieving I went to a love spellcaster. They specialize in all matters related to love and their love magic is some of the strongest. I wanted to see if there was a chance for me to ever have even a drop of the love and happiness I once had. Lillia informed me I was always destined to be with a Johnny. And that if I still wanted a relationship it'd take a bachelor challenge and me bringing six Johnny's from other universes into our own to compete for my heart.

I'd never been a believer in multiple universe. Ironic I know being a spellcaster you'd think otherwise. But you never question a love spellcaster in regards to matters of the heart. If Lillia said it was a thing and my second chance at love could be found going done this path then I would do it. I filmed my bachelor tape enchanted it and sent it out into six different universes. Time will tell if it brings results.

Thankfully Elissa's sunburn faded quickly, and Later that day she tried to 'help' Nicholas make Winterfest dinner.

When the food was ready everyone even sat down for dinner.

After dinner Elissa received some spicy texts for Aurora, yet was able to quickly hide her phone before everyone gathered in the living room to open presents.

Each person opened their presents. Azure got the dollhouse she wanted, Elissa got some Wick-er Whims candles (which she seemed some what suspicious about), and Harold got a Yoga mat (which he was fairly sure came from Elissa).

Nancy: We don’t give him a choice. I’ll send my investigator to the city, get some pictures of Layla, tell him her safety depends on his cooperation with being a member of this family

Malcolm: *scoffs* Are you seriously proposing to blackmail my son? With the threat of killing my wife?

Nancy: Do keep up dear, she's clearly not wanting to be your wife anymore if she took the kids to the city. If you don't let me take care of it you could end up never seeing them

Nancy Landgrabb

The infamous Nancy made her living in the criminal career track, drank a lot, and painted. As Malcolm grew up, they got along well in their failed attempts at socializing and discussing their neighbors with stuck-up snobbery.

She made the money and she bitched about the cooking and threw parties to invite people over and bitch about them, too. Seriously, she talked smack about everyone and nothing anyone did was appropriate and so on and so forth, I hated throwing parties for her.

She and Geoff tried for a baby, I can't remember if I cheated for him or not, but they did succeed. He made it to Child aged before his parents died, and my test of whether or not an abandoned child becomes adoptable in base-game was answered. (The answer is 'no' and when I looked further into it, apparently orphan-vanishing is a Death Type in the codes.)

For the sake of the narrative, he died at the same time as his mother in a tragic accident. (I like to joke that the Social Worker took him out back and shot him.)

She died of Old Age, refusing to retire until she died.

i suppose i should post little snapshots of everyone important so far, sorry if the posts are a bit too frequent, and the lack of quality in the photos, this is still early before i realised how much i got attached to this family ahaha

this is adrien, he is the eldest of the bakers (or at least in the first set of twins) he was hot-headed, jealous and art lover... which is why i suppose his story really revolves around his journey completing a distinguished degree in fine art at the prestigious university of britechester.

it was here he met naomi, a similarly bright eyed student and two fell in love <3 going on museum dates and hanging around after classes. it was also here that naomi cheated on him with some punk ass foxbury kid </3 right before adrien was about to propose to her. sure it may have been a little flirt, but adrien's green eyed fury could not be contained, he never spoke to her again. he finished his degree anyway and promptly began his career working his way up to 'master of the real'.

unfortunately as i mentioned, adrien was more than an art lover, he was also hot-headed throughout childhood as well. this led to a rather difficult relationship with his younger (half) brothers. though there was never any difference made between them, adrien as a teenager was the only one to witness their father's affairs, his misdirected anger falling particularly to his genius younger brother bence (pictured with the black hair and white shirt).

it was on adrien's deathbed, having regret for his actions and impassioned by his wife kenzie, he decided to try and make things up with his younger brother.

unfortunately the wound was just too deep, and it was too little, too late, for their relationship to be repaired.

and yes - he learned to love again after his intense flame with naomi in his youth. adrien passed away lovingly in the arms of his (albeit very young) wife, kenzie landgrabb (daughter of malcom and nancy) rest in peace adrien <3
