The Concert Part 4

After Taylor had left for the night Aurora went looking for Elissa, and found her in the restroom. Elissa started flirting with Aurora which lead to the two making out in front of the sink.

Vanessa also had to use the restroom. However, she didn't notice the two teenagers making out in front her as she was too busy looking at her phone.

When Vanessa finally looked up from her phone she saw them still in a flirtatious embrace, and made a joke about marriage before going into the stall.

When Vanessa was finished in the restroom all three went back to the table. Aurora and Elissa continued their flirtatious behavior until Elissa realized how late it was, and headed back to the house in Yukimatsu.

Vanessa thought it was a good time for them to leave too, yet before they left Aurora thanked their aunt for such a great night.

Geoffrey Landgrabb

A decent guy with terrible taste in women, Geoffrey did try with his children, especially the second one he had in his elder years. He died before making much headway with that, but he tried.

He diligently went to work as his secret agent job, and he lived simply, preferring to stay inside and watch TV over much else. He couldn't bond with Malcolm worth a damn, but he loved his son and his wife, who he kept failing to connect with. The best he got out of that was knowing those two lived well with each other until Malcolm moved out.

He retired after the new baby, hoping to stay home and help raise him right. And he did a great job! Mostly!

He died of old age shortly thereafter, leaving the massive house to the baby and his mother until a tragic accident.

hey friends! i was unable to post all of my early access content bc i'm sick. but i was able to post this video, which in my honest opinion are the major features in this 'romance' pack.

*i do not cover everything in the pack, only the things that stood out for me lol. i'm sorry i'm not used to doing full reviews up here

the attraction system is helpful and expands dating (which is great, but we've had mods that could do this for some time: pick your poison). the romantic satisfaction is the star here. i love being able to create one sided relationships and actually take care of our romantic relationships with sims. this is a valuable feature for me!

cupid's corner is a nice "hey i don't need this mod" anymore type of feature. prior to this i was using lumpinou's meet & mingle which allowed me to meet with sims (platonic and romantic). i dislike that you can not write custom bio's for your sims. i love the way the app functions, i love saving sims and adding them to our rel. panel - and getting to know them through the phone first. i wish we could've defined our sims favorite music/foods/color etc.

i'll admit it, i'm a sucker for dynamics. family dynamics from the sims 4 growing together are so good (minus the fact that everyone wants to be f*cking jokesters after one joke lol). but i love them! they really do impact my sims relationships. the different romance dynamics are interesting. for example: a strained romance dynamic makes it VERY hard for your sims to communicate. it's like your sims will randomly hug each other, but then 5 secs later they're upset. they want to love each other so badly but they can't lol.

now onto random things that excited me. you can go to cupid's couples counseling. i did not know we'd actually be able to answer questions. these sims had a strained romance dynamic and it was so bad - the therapist suggested we come back. but when i tried to schedule it again, they were booked and i had to wait to schedule another appt. which is great, because in the meantime your sims are going downhill fast and you have to keep the peace until then (if you choose).

there are new pop ups and invites. there's even one for a reality dating show lol. you can turn these off in game settings. (if you're wondering, mr. landgrabb never showed up at the motel he wanted to meet at. he stood my sim up. don't judge me, i thought there was simoleons involved).

new crafted dates are cool. you can choose whatever you want to do on them. there's new social interactions based on the activities you choose. you can also invite other sims to these (double dates woohoo!) you can also create crafted hangouts. i like these, i got this cute picture as a reward after a succesful crafted hangout. if you're familiar with mws weddings, it's the same idea. except this works well and isn't as glitchy lol..

another random feature i never needed, but now i find it useful. you can create your own relationship label that will appear in the rel. panel

it's unfair how gorgeous this world is... because there's nothing to do. this is all set dressing.

you can declare your love here.. at the wall of love.

you can buy flowers or edible sweet treats at this shop in the background.

you can get local food here. there are 3 new dishes and spicy hot chocolate. now, i'm not mexican (the world is inspired by mexico) BUT 3 new foods isn't cutting it for me. technically only 2, because one is a vegan option. no pozole, enchiladas, guacamole, tamales?? i'm a foodie, so i take full offense to that.

there's a nightclub, gym and lounge. but you get the idea.. there's nothing culturally unique about this world which makes me sad. no festivals? i'd love seeing a mariachi band play at the lounge. something. otherwise, keep the world and add more features right? i would've loved table proposals (sims 2 anyone?). or frisky couch makeouts. so many missed opportunities here.

there's more i could say but i feel like this post should be a little helpful in deciding wether this is a pack you need right now, or wait for a sale! i personally love having a complete colection, so i've always wanted every expansion. though i recieve the pack for free, i owe you my honesty and i want to start doing blog/written content because it's easier to process my thoughts through the excitment. i will enjoy this pack, i do like it, and only time will tell as i integrate it with my current gameplay. i hope this was helpful!

The Goth-Crumplebottom Family Wedding, 1927

In the fall of 1927, two of SimCity's oldest families were joined together in holy matrimony with the marriage of Gunther and Cornelia Goth. The union of these two powerful families signify a new era for the clan, with talks of philantrophical endeavors and the development of new towns under the Goth Enterprises and the Crumplebottom Foundation.

The dashing groom, Gunther Goth (27), is a land developer for the family company, while the beautiful bride, Cornelia Crumplebottom (25), is the heiress of the Crumplebottom canned prunes. The event was held in the town of Moonlight Falls, where both families reside.

The colors purple and violet dotted the event whether in the roses that decorated the party or in the outfits of the attendants. The wedding reception was held later that evening, where many of the local families of Moonlight Falls attended as well as SimCity's other influential families, such as the Landgrabbs and the Capps.

No her parents pass away before the ending of The Art of Being Seen actually. They’re pretty up there in age now, Queenie does a good job with keeping up her appearance, as expected. As soon as she sees a grey she's at someone's salon lol . And not to spoil but them passing is a major plot point in the story coming up.

Geoffrey did take their name and you know what, the scene where Queenie visits Johnny at the hospital and she’s standing beside Geoffrey was when I was going to discuss but i cut it due to the script and pacing and what not. Basically, when Nancy and Geoffrey was talking about what to name Johnny , they settled on Jonathan Osteer- Landgraab. Geoffrey tells Queenie this and she firmly suggests they drop the Osteer and leave it at Landgraab since the name has more meaning and privilege. To which Geoffrey says he wanted to give their son something of his own family since he took the Landgraab name. And she pretty much bitches him out and he removes his last name.

So, while this particular convo won't happen exactly like this, this situation does come up later on about Geoffrey marrying into the family and his manhood and so on.

One of the topics of part III is Nancy's sex drive. She's definitely fizzles out of the whole sleeping with a man thing soon and she's just a complete dog in heat for like 90% of the story lol so them bumping purses is not as often as the early years of their marriage and if it is, she's making him wear his raincoat lmaoo

Derek has a bit of mischievous background but he's left that all behind and now enjoys a quiet life in Sulani. Derek appears to be frightening at first but he's known by his friends to be real gentle and sweet and can even make the best food out of rations. Most important of all he's a protector and good at keeping secrets, a trustworthy friend and that's what everyone liked about him he's the kind of guy who's shoulder you can lean on.

Honestly, Derek's on the show mildly out of curiosity. Maybe he's getting a bit bored of his cozy life, but one thing's for sure is that he does want love. He doesn't consider himself a romantic but he does enjoy the idea of having someone to come home to, or someone coming home to him. Someone he can cook meals for and serve breakfast in bed and sprinkle them with kisses whenever possible. He is also looking to settle down and have a family, he knows life isn't perfect but he hopes to give his future children a somewhat perfect life.

Derek's actually been married once during his Military days, he's not really sure why he got married maybe it was peer pressure, either way it wasn't the best of marriages but he did his best as a husband. His wife was murdered shortly after he caught her cheating on him some years ago, and that investigation… well it interfered with the last heist him and his group ran, needless to say he's got a lot of guilt on his chest.

I've never seen anyone talk about this (mostly because nobody plays these games really) but do you guys remember Dudley Landgraab?

His wiki page says he appeared in two (possibly three) games throughout the early years of the franchise: The Sims (Console), The Sims: Bustin' Out (Console), and possibly the Urbz: Sims in the City (Console). He's the son of Malcom Landgraab, and usually appears alongside his sister, Mimi. But he's a genuinely interesting little freak???

I haven't played the original Sims, but according to the wiki, it seems like he's an early game NPC who's characterized as a slacker and a party animal. He's a member of the Landgraab family but doesn't seem to have much contact with them.

In Bustin' Out, he's the first house available to move into when you start the game (the other option being his sister's place). He seems to be a straight up criminal in this one, possibly working in the burglar career (you can't check in game so we don't know for sure, but the schedules seem to coincide according to the wiki). His ex-stepmother (your mom) hates him. It's referenced in his bio that his dad cut him off. He's living in a shitty bachelor pad trailer. Not crazy out of pocket considering the other places in that game.

In the Urbz, there's a much more interesting development, though. In Kicktail Park, the local hangout for a bunch of weird skaters, there's a guy named String Bean. Nothing particularly interesting about him on the surface, but in his profile on the Urbz website he seems to be incredibly secretive and weird about his past/identity. Under his dislikes, one of the things he hates is being called Dudley.

That means there's a decent chance that they're the same guy. He got tired of living in a trailer and being a family disappointment, so I guess he went off to the city to reinvent himself.

I love the weird tidbits of lore that you'd never know unless you scrolled through defunct websites and wiki pages made by people who are way too invested in these games.

Festival of Snow

Before leaving the festival Elissa took some selfies front of the giant snow sculptures, and sent them to Aurora.

That evening she also spent some time snowboarding on the slopes.

Aurora sat on their bed looking the selfies Elissa had sent them. They were glad she was having fun on her vacation.

However, they wondered what it would be like to be there with her at the festival. After all the only reason they weren't invited was because it was a "family" vacation.

Nancy Landgrabb

The infamous Nancy made her living in the criminal career track, drank a lot, and painted. As Malcolm grew up, they got along well in their failed attempts at socializing and discussing their neighbors with stuck-up snobbery.

She made the money and she bitched about the cooking and threw parties to invite people over and bitch about them, too. Seriously, she talked smack about everyone and nothing anyone did was appropriate and so on and so forth, I hated throwing parties for her.

She and Geoff tried for a baby, I can't remember if I cheated for him or not, but they did succeed. He made it to Child aged before his parents died, and my test of whether or not an abandoned child becomes adoptable in base-game was answered. (The answer is 'no' and when I looked further into it, apparently orphan-vanishing is a Death Type in the codes.)

For the sake of the narrative, he died at the same time as his mother in a tragic accident. (I like to joke that the Social Worker took him out back and shot him.)

She died of Old Age, refusing to retire until she died.

The son rarely discussed is Remington "Remi" Landgrabb the 2nd child of Nancy and uhm Geoffrey 👀 Landgrabb (he tans just like his daddy 😏) . Far removed from Oasis Springs he reside not too far from his families property in Chestnut Ridge with his horse Misty Steel. Remi is very much a loner but he would love to share his heart and beautiful view and maybe even a glass of his black label private made nectar he is known for 🍷🍾🍾

Day 1 of week 1. Brendon gave each guy a flirt(bonus action for Halloween costume) check in on and get to know. It was then up to contestants to make an effort. Farmer Johnny then left and did nothing else day 1 with Brendon. @akitasimblr

You know what I don't like about Sims 4? I don't like the treatment of the premades from previous games. If you're introducing Dustin, what about Brandi, Beau and Baby Broke? And what about the Dreamers?

And what's with the messed up ages? Why are the Goths so young, but the Pleasant twins are ready to go to university?

I've decided to just ignore the fact that the Goth family are so much younger than my canon. I know that the Sims 4 is an "alternate universe"... but why can't the ages be correct? Even an alternate universe would have the same ages. But there could have been differences; Don could have ended up marrying Bella after Mortimer's science career failed and he lost their fortune; Dina could have ended up marrying into the Landgrabb family but realising that fortune wasn't what she really wanted, she wanted to run away with her true love Mortimer. If you want to give us an alternate universe then give us an alternate universe rather than using that as an excuse for cocking up the timeline and whitewashing the premades (eg. the Caliente's and, IMO, Dirk Dreamer)

Anyway, that turned into a rant. What I really meant to say was that I am going to add some families into my sims game, and here are the Brokes:

Dustin, Brandi, Beau and Baby.

Funny story, I wasn't sure what to name Baby. I even thought about calling him Baby. But I thought I shouldn't... I generated some random names and one of them was Baby, so he is officially Baby Broke now!

Dustin is an edited version of the Maxis Dustin. I've edited him to make him more like his Sims 2 self. I'm not the best at making sims, but I'm quite happy with how they've all turned out.
