Which sim has a design you find highly interesting?

Tbh, a lot of the ancestral sims that are already dead have really weird faces (Contessa Capp and Chip Grunt come to mind, but there's others as well for sure). Makes me think like. How did these designs come to be? Who was fucking around in CAS and was like "hey can I confirm this and ship it out?" And who said yes??

I will say, I feel like a lot of the designs in this game work best when compared against each other (like the Smiths vs the Grunts or the Montys vs the Capps vs the Summerdreams). I love the Veronaville sims in particular for this because not only do a lot of their faces and outfits feel unique, but they also contrast each other really well. The Capps look like your stereotypical sour villains, with sunken in cheeks and permanent scowls and everything, with all of it culminating in Consort Capp's genuinely horrific face. He's so ugly. God help him. I genuinely don't know how the devs did that shit to him. These are neat faces on their own, but compared to the Montys, who all tend to look softer and rounder even if they do have a bit of that sourness, idk. It serves to accentuate the features of both sides nicely. This is also done with color really well but I'm too tired to yap about color usage (both throughout the game and in vv specifically) rn so I'll talk about it in depth some other day.

That being said, lots of individual sims have really weird charm to me. All of the Goths are memorable in their own rights, Brandi Broke strikes me as kind of unique for some reason (maybe the shirt idk). All four of the Summerdreams get a top spot for the silly face paint/masks they all have (except Bottom but I feel like her face is neat to look at even without it). Vidcund is also unique but in a way that makes you wonder why nobody has told him to cut that shit out yet and be normal. Etc etc

PT9 after I changed his species to Large Dog in SimPE. He loaded in like this for a brief instant (hence the black background; the game hadn't loaded graphics yet aside from the UI) before he just disappeared from the family and the game. He did not appear back in the game until I changed his species back.

Tycho Curious with his age set to Adult in SimPE. Lazlo is also there. Hadn't deleted him yet.

Tank, after I also switched his species to Large Dog. He's rendering the same janky ass way PT9 was.

What else should I do to break my game?

Hello, everyone. As of late I have completely busted my game doing everything I could think of to mess it up. I'll give a list of the things I've done later, but I came to ask what other things I should try. I'm planning on completely reinstalling everything (I have everything I care about on a flash drive) after I'm done, so don't be afraid to suggest whatever you can think of.

Up to this point, I have:

Deleted every grave in Olive's garden.

Changed Sims' ages in SimPE, turning baby Tycho Curious into an adult man. He is still very much a baby but now he's walking around and is able to do things like get jobs and use phones and such. I also turned Tank into a toddler but him crawling around scared the hell out of me so I aged him back to a teen.

Changed Sims' species in SimPE, turning PT9 into a large dog. (This is where the image above came from.) The game loaded in for about a split second, before just deleting him from both the game and the little family tab on the left. This persisted until I changed his species back to human.

Maxed out Loki's skills and personality. It doesn't seem to do anything crazy.

Opened the files in the game folder and just started selecting character files (the N_002_whatever ones) and deleting them randomly. This wiped Olive and Ophelia, Nervous Subject, all of the Singles household except Lola Curious, and all three Curious brothers. They do not appear in family trees, nor in game.

Gave Ripp a dead token, and may have also deleted his file. Idk. He's gone. That's all I remember.

Fucked up Circe Beaker's face with the Sim Surgery option in SimPE. Idk. It looks weird but she doesn't seem to mind.

Moved Lola Curious into a house in Strangetown and added several NPCs to it, such as Agnes Crumplebottom, a Social Worker, the Therapist, Rod Humble, and Bella Goth.

Following this up, I made Crumplebottom and the Social Worker vampires, couldn't get the Therapist to show up for more than a second, made Rod Humble alien pregnant with a debug item (this does persist between lots as he showed up at another house still like that), and didn't actually do anything with Bella as far as I can remember.

At some point, PT9 was given an I Am Dead Token and thus died. The death message referred to PT9 as she and her. I guess I changed the gender flag at some point and forgot. Congrats on the transition. I also changed her name to polly wolly something or other I don't remember

Johnny aged up to an adult. I didn't do anything weird here I just forgot he was gonna do that. Happy birthday man

Anyway, if you've got anything else you want me to try before I wipe this cursed place, go ahead and suggest it. I haven't played the save a crazy amount but it seems to be running completely normally considering what I've done.

Finally drawing all the Summerdreams!

For as long as anyone can remember, the forest around Veronaville has been full of chittering noises that don't sound like any bird or bug, and rustling in the trees far too large to be squirrels. In recent years, the creatures that call those woods their home have begun venturing out into the world of mortals, for reasons unknown to anyone but them.

Bonus: The fairy children have often been seen wearing masks as they go about their days, tormenting the local human kids by pelting them with acorns and "borrowing" their belongings when their backs are turned. No one is sure why they do it. When asked, they simply giggle and scurry away into the alleyways or the underbrush.

This Zine is mainly my headcanons about Sixam and the Sims aliens. I HC that all of them have psychic abilities, but some honed their skills more than others.

soo i've always thought the grunt-smith feud was fascinating both thematically and aesthetically. on the surface it seems like "xenophobic guy grooms his family and the rest of the world into hating aliens because racist" and yes that's Part of it but it goes deeper imo...... it doesn't perfectly resemble any IRL phenomenon because Buzzy Bee's a little right i mean the aliens DO abduct and implant parasites into people!! but it doesn't mean he should persecute every green person he sees (which isn't technically canon but a very popular fanon that i semi-adopt 🙂‍↕️). my take on it is that the whole conflict is quite morally gray and there's no good or bad side. pt9's got some closeted skeletons of his own as we know...

and then Aesthetically...woaw. both have this retro theme going on and i LOVE ITTT the smiths are very 20th century nuclear family while the grunts are a very Cold War military household, you could say. the smiths have this picturesque cape cod home, green lawn & white picket fences, and the grunts have that dull midcentury colonial home with an obstacle course and observatory tower in the back. so my idea was how about we #suburbiamaxx by making them that idea of "Arguing with your neighbor over the fence" sorta thang. except the fence between them is pretty tall in this because they don't want to see each other jhfkskhlhgjs

going back to their green lawn we could also argue that the smiths' fake grass and likely fake foliage is reflective of their own superficiality but ^_^!!! I Have Many Thoughts lmao this should have been a separate post IDC
