When I went to give Dax and Tobias makeovers I was struck the overwhelming realization of how much Dax had to give up to have his cousin and her kids (that she didn’t want) stay with him for so long. He had to be the bread winner, and the pseudo parent, and the one to care about them all. Now, being with Tobias, he is able to return to who he truly is, an artist. He is able to have his hair in his face and have his shirt open because he isn’t responsible for anyone anymore.

To think that I placed Tobias down on a whim. Just hoping he would like Dax and he immediately did. They work so well together, even though Dax is older than Tobias (because I forgot that I made Tobias a Young Adult), which I am honestly shocked about.

I can’t wait to play with them more! Have Tobias figure what he wants to do with his restaurant and have Dax paint and paint and paint.

The game ate her last name in a sync.

The adopted mother of Britta Overton, YA Lisa joined the household with Jennifer and Maddox as a way to live cheaper and split the bills, but she wound up taking care of Maddox more often than not, helping him with homework and making sure he had food in the fridge.

Jennifer all but dropped Britta off with Lisa when she was born, and shortly thereafter, died.

Lisa hadn't been employed and now had a baby and a teenager to take care of--

Until Maddox agreed to stay here with a tenant, and she moved into a friend's attic to raise Britta.

The friends were rich and didn't mind her up there, as long as she kept herself and the baby up there. And she did good, she only needed a bathtub and a few baby items. Britta was never left wanting for anything except space.

Shortly after Britta aged up to child, Maddox gave them a call.

He'd been an adult for quite some time, and he'd been working hard as a Mad Scientist.

And as such, he'd gotten attention from some aliens, lately, and so he had been abducted and impregnated.

Long story short, once they were born, he loved his daughters, and he didn't want to send them back to their home planet-- but he also did not want to stop working, yet, and keeping twins wouldn't allow for a full time job if he wanted to raise them right.

Lisa said no, but Maddox cut her off and said, "I want to freeze you and my little sister in time until I'm ready for a family, and then we can all live together."

She had to talk to him again and meet him and his daughters, and the cyborg hand and spaceship helped convince her.

After the cryostasis, Maddox sustained them with his massive garden. He also brought home a colleague to help around the house, and had another alien implant, a boy.

I think that one of the most underrated reveals in Scum Villain was that Luo Binghe inherited his big dick toxic alpha male energy from his birth mother, and it actually has nothing to do with his demon side.

Okay okay okay.. but listen. What if Shen Yuan had a harsher System and was forced to convincingly play Shen Qingqiu, making Luo Binghe detest his existence, but when Luo Binghe returns from the abyss to enact his revenge and has Shen Qingqiu on trial at Huan Hua, unfortunately for everyone (and fortunately for us), they drug Shen Qingqiu with truth serum and accidentally spiral Shen Yuan into fanboy rampage of epic proportions about how great Luo Binghe is.

On one hand, Young Justice is kind of neglected by the actual superheroes that should be looking out for them in a lot of crucial ways and very much failed by the adults around them

But on the other hand Red Tornado straight up hosts a parent-teacher conference where their respective legal guardians all show up, barring Batman who’s in traffic so Nightwing fills in instead because Robin’s dad does not know he’s a vigilante which is objectively hilarious

Evelyn Hodiway

A boyish child and a butch adult. Evelyn grew up outgoing and creative, which lent well to her love for painting and music.

She grew up well-cared-for by her mother, and never really knew her father. She met him once when she was a teenager, but the relationship never really clicked and she lost interest in trying. (It didn't help that her mother, Susan, didn't care for him.

She peaked in her career of painting in adulthood to help support the unconventional family at home-- Her mother invited a pair of Empty Nesters to stay with them. Even after Susan died, Katrina and Cleo lived with the couple as a romance bloomed and died between them, resulting in a baby girl they named Blodwyn. Evelyn and Cleo were pregnant at the same time, it turned out-- Carrie was born around the same time as Blodwyn, and the pair grew up together.

Clarity arrived when Blodwyn and Carrie were just children, when Katrina's older daughter seduced Evelyn. The whirlwind romance went unnoticed by Beram, Evelyn's wife, until then. She forgave, and Clarity was treated as her own, right next to Carrie and Blodwyn.

Evelyn wasn't quite as worldly as her wife, preferring her fewer hobbies that she got deeper into-- She wrote so many more books and painted so many more pictures and stayed pretty buff and lean all her life.

The passing of Cleo and Katrina left a big house for the relatively small family.

I’ve finally finished transforming Newcrest, and it’s packed with everything your sims need to live their best lives! From cozy homes to vibrant nightlife, this world has it all:

Ridgeline Drive: A charming neighborhood filled with rowhouses and lovely homes, each with its own garden. Perfect for families or sims who love the outdoors.

Bridgeview: The bustling heart of Newcrest, designed as an extension of San Myshuno. It’s full of trendy bars and restaurants, making it the go-to spot for nightlife and dining.

Llama Lagoon: The most scenic area in Newcrest, offering breathtaking lake views with a city skyline backdrop. With subway access to San Myshuno, it’s ideal for sims who want a balance of peace and urban energy.

I’ve been working on creating Newcrest like this for a very long time, but because of my studies, it never really felt done in my mind. Now, I’ve decided to take advantage of that—it’s not perfect, and I don’t want to delay it any longer.
