*Video!* - "I WILL DEFEND MY PEOPLE, ISRAEL and take vengeance upon My enemies." Says YAHUWAH
"Behold, I shall lift up an ensign to all nations! It shall be forged with fire and painted with the blood of mighty men, and many ten thousands shall fall in one day! For I shall come out mightily against them, very dreadful in battle, and with terrible destruction I shall strike all who come out to fight against Me, and all in the earth shall tremble! Then they will know, I AM THE LORD, when I have magnified Myself in the land of Israel!" Says The Lord God

I remember seeing a theory relating to Ju Peter. In Japanese (シェパード・十・ピーター聖) his name features what looks like a cross. Historically Saint Peter was crucified in Rome by Emperor Nero (known for his cruelty and sadism) on an upside down cross, as blame for starting a fire in Rome. It could tie into the belief that Ju Peter will betray (Nero)na Imu in some way in the story.
If there is going to be a traitor Gorosei, it's definitely Ju Peter. Based on the positioning of the Doflamingo / Imu panels, Ju Peter occupies the same position as Corazon would, if he were to have been in the picture (based on the positions of the swords in both panels). Additionally, Ju Peter is the only Gorosei that have questioned the World Government at any point. During Wano he questioned why the WG felt the need to hide the real name of the Gum-Gum Fruit. He was also the one who questioned Imu as to why they selected Lulusia. Finally the most important part that I believe to be the key to the puzzle lies in real life Christian theology. Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is named after Saint Peter. Assuming that Ivankov was right when speculating about Imu's identity, they would be Saint Nerona Imu. This namessake most likely is a reference to the real life Emperor Nero. And it just so happened that it's said that Emperor Nero killed Saint Peter by method of cruxification. The precedent for cruxification as a method of punishing Celestial Dragons has already been set with Figarland Garling killing Mjosgard in this way.
Plus ju Peter is named after the planet Jupiter named after the Roman god Jupiter the Roman equivalent to Zeus who is poseidon and hades/plutos brother both Poseidon and pluton are connected to imus enemies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiU8rjYqdWg
Things are getting really crazy in One Piece so I don't know what the believe but this is really interesting food for thought. Thanks.

That is true. There is strong references to Christian tradition and history in Juu Peter's name.
"Nerona" in reference to Nero's name specifically is connected to a painting named "Pochodnie Nerona", or "Nero's torches", a painting depicting Christian martyrdom.
十 is the "Ju", the number 10. It is indeed what the Japanese still use to say to refer to the Christian cross (十字 Juuji, lit. "the number 10 character"). Shepherd as well, is reminiscent of John 21:16 in the Bible, where Jesus addresses Peter. In the Japanese Bible, Jesus commanded Peter to "飼い" the sheep, which can be translated as "shepherd" the sheep.
I thought about it, but haven't made a full theory about it due to there still being too many vague elements about the Gorousei (and also I don't remember those Doflamingo panels, do you remember what chapter?)

The Gorosei’s Final Opponents Solved
YouTube comments
As a sandworm, an animal who kinda moves unnoticed under the ground, makes sense if Ju Peter is the traitor/undercover. It’s also the only one whose form doesn’t really fit the demon theme.
The tension I felt was between Warcury and Akainu. Akainu will most likely fight him. I do not think Dragon will fight one of the Gorosei. Either he will help against Imu or he will take care of the God's Knights with the Revolutionary Army.

Warcury is self proclaimed god who transforms into a fire boar known in mythology for destorying towns. Kozuki Oden defeated a large boar that was considered a god who was destroying a town. There is a straw hat who wants to follow directly in Oden's footsteps too, though one who hasn't joined just yet; Yamato. I get that Dragon should have a win, but I think they've established the God's Knights as the threat the Revolutionary Army are working around so they'll probably be the army on army fight with Dragon taking out Garling.
I think it's possible Jupiter might be a traitor because of the fact that his Zoan doesn't match the theme of the rest, as well as the fact that he very literally embodies a Zoan that is an insect, which the gorosei sort of constantly use as an insult.
Akainu is just written so closely to the idea of breaking off that I'd be surprised if he doesn't fight a gorosei, or maybe he fights Imu and loses
If we consider Skypiea as One Piece in miniature, it lends even more credence to the idea that Dragon will defeat one of the Gorosei. His closest parallel in Skypiea is Wiper. Wiper defeated one of Enel's priests (actually he one shot him with the Reject Dial) and was almost able to kill Enel. As such, I expect Dragon to easily stomp one of the Gorosei and actually almost manage to defeat Imu, but ultimately fall just short. I even expect we'll get a "For My Ancestors" like line out of Dragon right as he's defeated by Imu.Show less
I think kid might likely have a match against figarland as a sort revenge match against shank's realtive
Considering Jupiter (the planet) is known for always getting in the way of asteroids, protecting the earth in the way, Ju Peter could really be a traitor to the Gorosei in order to protect the One Piece world

hair: How does your OC wear their hair? Does it have some kind of meaning? (does she arrange/trim/braid her fur!)
OC Asks: Character Design Edition !
In the first concepts when this Blog was set up, one of Zivs details was that she would use artifical braided strains of blue and yellow theards to pin with metalrings to her fur on her head to have long hair. With that she would resamble her namessake Sif, who long golden hair is a symbol to growing wheat and a coming harvest, which makes the fact that Loki cut off the hair (comdeming humans to misharvest and eventual starvation) really devasting past the fact that long hair is a symbol of freedom and Sifs high standing (taking her high standing or even state of a Aesir and nobility from her by cutting her hair and making her resamble a Unfree). However that idea was scrapped because it did not looked good on Ziv and the only thing Ziv kept from her namesake was the colour Yellow | Golden colour of wheat, her connection to the Rowan tree ( Ziv beeing the word for a Rowanlike tree on Tynna as a headcanon, and Zivs treehoroscope beeing the Eberesche), her connection to growing crops as a botanist and as said, her name, the Name of Thore (as the danish version of Thor) and the names of her (and obviously Thores) daughters being Thrud and Ullr.
However, outside of earlier concepts, Ziv usually only shaves the Symbol for Healer in the outer Layer of her fur on her chest so when she is working in areas with low literacy, people will still see that she is a Healer and that they can come to her for help and support in medical matters. Usually that symbol grows out in the time of eight weeks and Ziv uses that as a signal to leave the place for another. Hiding from the empire means after all, staying on the move.

Even though Zaid's experience of blacking out didn't differ too much from Elijah's own, there was something interesting there. Something to be learned from the fact that all the stories were so vastly different until they weren't. Unless Zaid was lying (which Elijah doubted), alcohol was an unlikely culprit. Same for drugs. No strangers, no interest in cruises, no thread or theme, rhyme or reason weaving through people's stories that somehow connected them, offered a why. It was as if people all over the world had all been simultaneously teleported onto a cruise ship.
"Abundance and growth. Not a bad meaning. Sounds like you were being set up for great things." Zaid seemed pretty put together, too. A bit nervous, but he looked like he could keep his cool. Maybe he'd worked in high-stress situations. "So what did you end up doing, if you aren't a farmer? Living up to your name?" Elijah felt his skin break out in goosebumps as they waded through the stale, cold water. It was biting through his shoes. Elijah barely felt it. The thunk reverbarated through the corridor, echoing against the bare steel walls, alongside the sloshing of their feet.
"I'd say you're not far off, but that would unfortunately be a complete lie. I will take that as a compliment however. Don't worry, I won't let it get to my head. Okay, maybe a little." Elijah chuckled, softly. "I travel. Full-time. Not an emergency-anything. And not a prophet either, so I don't quite live up to my namessake."
The conversation eased the bitter tension somewhat, even though the rythmic thunk was a constant undercurrent. Better than quiet. A sign of life. Except - the door was open.
A crack of dark, seeping blackness, not offering any glance into the insides of the storage room. A crack that shouldn't have been there, because it meant whoever was inside wasn't trapped, despite their banging. Both of them knew it.
If there was something Elijah had learned over the course of his travel, it was that there was always something intrinsically animalistic at the bottom of everyone. Leftovers from when they were sleeping outside, with the eyes of predators at their back. Instincts, the kind that ran cold shivers up your spine, and that told you not to go down a specific alleyway because there was something there.
Elijah felt it. Coldness, running up his spine to the back of his neck, the kind that made his heart jump with the thrill of it. Zaid must've felt it too, as he nudged the door open. Still keeping his cool, Elijah noted, even as the cold light from the flickering, fluorescent tubes up ahead showed that nobody was inside the storage room. There should have been. But there wasn't.
And then the banging started again. Louder, the yelling more panicked, pleading. Elijah's body ran ice cold. His heart skipped a beat, picking up the pace. He could feel the fear and shock coming off of Zaid. There was no rational explanation for this.
"Well-" Elijah stared inside the dimly lit storage area filled with bolted down metal shelves and tipped cardboard boxes. "I'll be damned." His instincts told him something was wrong. But he didn't run. Despite all of it, Elijah wasn't scared or afraid.
He was thrilled.
"I WANT TO GO HOME! PLEASE! HELP ME! PLEASE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE-"
The scream was getting louder. The voice it belonged to had started cracking. Elijah moved, into the storage room, the panicked screams mixing with the rushing of his own blood in his ears. This time, the door was closed, but not locked, albeit a little jammed. Elijah grabbed the knob and moved, yanked, the adrenaline giving him strength. He could feel the door vibrate against his fingers with every thunk, stronger and stronger, until-
The door popped open. The yelling and thumping stopped like a shut-off light. The store was empty. There was nobody there.
Emotionally, Zaid had to admit it kept him afloat, listening to Elijah talk. Elijah had a great voice, like an American newscaster but not one of those shouty annoying ones.
"I don't drink," Zaid said with a shake of his head. A partial lie; Zaid imbibed heavily, typical in the life of restaurant BOH. But in the last five-odd months, he'd cut off completely. It felt pious and holy to do so; imam praised him for it, even. (Not that Zaid even liked that imam, but whatevs).
Zaid used his hands to punctuate his story. "I was literally on a subway train in New York, stepped off onto the platform and - boom. It's fucked, man. Thought I was dreaming still on the train for a good five minutes."
But Elijah's questions sounded half-jokey, half-valid. Had anyone mentioned a cruise to Zaid, earlier on? He'd have to rake through ember-coals of his mind, later. For now, he smirked at Elijah's casual compliment. How did Elijah manage to stay so conversational during a disaster? "Cheers man. And Elijah - that's the prophet, innit. We call him Ilyas. Erm, 'Zaid' - it means abundance and growth. I'm not a farmer though," he joked. It wasn't a good joke though, not as clever as Elijah's charming quips. Blast.
Fortunately, they arrived at the door, and Elijah got it open to reveal the cold corridor beyond. Impersonal and still slightly ammonia-scented from all the cleaning product, all service and no joy. "Makes you want to work on a cruise ship, don't it. So what did you do, erm." Zaid didn't want to say 'before'. "You strike me as a fireman. Or paramedic. Something emergency..."
Zaid shivered involuntarily, hoping Elijah didn't see it. "I can handle it," he said, more confidence than reality. "Bloody hell, it's like the ac's up on full blast back here, innit." And that pounding - thunk, thunk-thunk, thunk - over and over. "That bloke still beating at the front door? Flipping hell, he's slow."
They waded their way slowly, Zaid trying to ignore his toes getting increasingly numb. They read the entrance labels for each shop, back to Hermès. That door surprisingly, was slightly ajar. Zaid just stared at it for a moment, then up at Elijah. A silent question: if the back door was open, why didn't the person in the storage room just...walk out?
"Storage rooms in cruises can't be that big. He's hysterical. He's in shock," Zaid tried to justify, but something kept his hackles raised, his hair standing on end. He didn't like it, but he wasn't going to fall into a panic in front of Elijah. We'll just find the bloke and -"
As soon as Zaid's fingers pushed the ajar door slightly, the pounding abruptly stopped. The door swayed in the water, needing a further nudge from Zaid, who was expecting the trapped person to come pelting out. Nothing. Zaid carefully stepped into the thin, long store room - it was small, as he'd guess. Shelving lined the walls with supplies, and the closed front door of the room where Zaid heard the banging.
No one was in the store room.
"Erm." Zaid swallowed, then looked up at Elijah. "You...you heard it though, right? We both heard -"
THUNK - THUNK-THUNK - THUNK. 'Help me please! Please let me out! I want to go home!!'
The pounding and the cries came from inside the shop now, behind the closed front door of the storeroom.
Zaid startled with a loud yelp, jumping back from the door as if burned. "What - what the fuck!? What -"

I wanted to try to get one more thing written and posted this year but unfortunately that didn’t work out lol but don’t worry I have a bunch of fun new stuff planed alongside getting my kofi gold up and running! I’ll make a Real Post about that soon, I would like to aim for 1-3 updates to that a month-one which would most likely be pottery related (so if you want to make me see something or learn how to make something lemme know, i think i can do video in kofi gold...).
Thank you for supporting me this year in whatever capacity you chose to do so. I hope that my art and writing helped bring you a little comfort. ❤️
I don’t recall if I made any resolutions for this year, so I think going into 2021 I’m just going to keep working on getting back to where I was. And yknow. Try not to die of the plague. Did I ever tell you guys the great great aunt I was named after died of heart complications most likely from the spanish flu in 1918? Anyways. Wear your masks and don’t be stupid lol

Dead Marine
Is an Nautical slang for an empty wine bottle, a euohemism highlighting the sailor’s opinion that serves as much purpose as the other aboard ship ( live marines being considered useless enough).
Tumblr media
A Dutch Demijohn; with a naval battle scene and a Portrait of Admiral Maarten Tromp, "The bravest and most skillful enemy then known to the english navy." ( next to Michiel de Ruyter) circa 1750-1790 (x)
King William IV (21 August 1765 – 20 June 1837) the Sailor King, once apologized to the marine officers present for telling the steward to clear away the dead marines during one wardroom visit by saying what he really meant was that, like their namessake, the bottles had performed their duty nobly and were ready to do it again. Levi starting his own company is great. . but imagine inheriting it from Kenny. Kenny owned a luxury jewelry brand that is so successful but the three of the Ackermans know Kuchel was the brains behind the designs. She just didn’t want to be in the spotlight so she could take care of her son in peace. So now that Levi owns it she’s just like “I love u bb and u can do no wrong but this design is terrible”
Wait omg that’s cool -- I was thinking Kuchel started it and while Kenny had great ideas, he knew he wasn’t cut out to be the leader type, so Kuchel took the reigns, and eventually passed it down to Levi as she got older and didn’t want to be in the spotlight as much, you know? So she’s technically retired, but Levi consults her about everything anyways LOL she gets called to a meeting where Levi and Kenny are thinking up designs or plans or whatever and she strolls in her million dollar retirement brunch dress and is like “I love it all really, fabulous work you boys are doing here, except you’re ruining my namessake, get out of the way.”
