The Gorosei’s Final Opponents Solved
YouTube comments
As a sandworm, an animal who kinda moves unnoticed under the ground, makes sense if Ju Peter is the traitor/undercover. It’s also the only one whose form doesn’t really fit the demon theme.
The tension I felt was between Warcury and Akainu. Akainu will most likely fight him. I do not think Dragon will fight one of the Gorosei. Either he will help against Imu or he will take care of the God's Knights with the Revolutionary Army.
I remember seeing a theory relating to Ju Peter. In Japanese (シェパード・十・ピーター聖) his name features what looks like a cross. Historically Saint Peter was crucified in Rome by Emperor Nero (known for his cruelty and sadism) on an upside down cross, as blame for starting a fire in Rome. It could tie into the belief that Ju Peter will betray (Nero)na Imu in some way in the story.
If there is going to be a traitor Gorosei, it's definitely Ju Peter. Based on the positioning of the Doflamingo / Imu panels, Ju Peter occupies the same position as Corazon would, if he were to have been in the picture (based on the positions of the swords in both panels). Additionally, Ju Peter is the only Gorosei that have questioned the World Government at any point. During Wano he questioned why the WG felt the need to hide the real name of the Gum-Gum Fruit. He was also the one who questioned Imu as to why they selected Lulusia. Finally the most important part that I believe to be the key to the puzzle lies in real life Christian theology. Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is named after Saint Peter. Assuming that Ivankov was right when speculating about Imu's identity, they would be Saint Nerona Imu. This namessake most likely is a reference to the real life Emperor Nero. And it just so happened that it's said that Emperor Nero killed Saint Peter by method of cruxification. The precedent for cruxification as a method of punishing Celestial Dragons has already been set with Figarland Garling killing Mjosgard in this way.Show less
Plus ju Peter is named after the planet Jupiter named after the Roman god Jupiter the Roman equivalent to Zeus who is poseidon and hades/plutos brother both Poseidon and pluton are connected to imus enemies
Warcury is self proclaimed god who transforms into a fire boar known in mythology for destorying towns. Kozuki Oden defeated a large boar that was considered a god who was destroying a town. There is a straw hat who wants to follow directly in Oden's footsteps too, though one who hasn't joined just yet; Yamato. I get that Dragon should have a win, but I think they've established the God's Knights as the threat the Revolutionary Army are working around so they'll probably be the army on army fight with Dragon taking out Garling.
I think it's possible Jupiter might be a traitor because of the fact that his Zoan doesn't match the theme of the rest, as well as the fact that he very literally embodies a Zoan that is an insect, which the gorosei sort of constantly use as an insult.
Akainu is just written so closely to the idea of breaking off that I'd be surprised if he doesn't fight a gorosei, or maybe he fights Imu and loses
If we consider Skypiea as One Piece in miniature, it lends even more credence to the idea that Dragon will defeat one of the Gorosei. His closest parallel in Skypiea is Wiper. Wiper defeated one of Enel's priests (actually he one shot him with the Reject Dial) and was almost able to kill Enel. As such, I expect Dragon to easily stomp one of the Gorosei and actually almost manage to defeat Imu, but ultimately fall just short. I even expect we'll get a "For My Ancestors" like line out of Dragon right as he's defeated by Imu.Show less
I think kid might likely have a match against figarland as a sort revenge match against shank's realtive
Considering Jupiter (the planet) is known for always getting in the way of asteroids, protecting the earth in the way, Ju Peter could really be a traitor to the Gorosei in order to protect the One Piece world

It was another day at St Georges’ Park. The English team was back for the international break. Jude sat at lunch, Trent at his left and Marcus and Bukayo in front of them, in the middle of a conversation.
“Aye, Jude, you remember Mariah ?” Marcus started as he kept his eyes on his phone.
Jude’s head rose, confusion written on his face.
“The girl you disrespectfully dumped after cheating on her” Trent described with no facial expression.
Even though Jude was his friend, he never forgot to remind him how wrong he was in this situation.
“Oh, umm yeah why?”
Marcus turned his phone around showing them an Instagram post.
mariahsworld Self care day to celebrate Tamara’s five months of living. Thank you for choosing me as your mom, I love you 💕
Within a second, Jude had gone on her account via his spam since she had him blocked on the main page and viewed the post. He then went to click on her story seeing even more pictures and videos of her and her baby.
Jude kept his eyes on the screen as if he was hypnotized.
"Waow, I didn- just waow" He mumbled, lost of words. "She definitely turned a new page"
He kept scrolling as Mason and Declan sat at their table. The two instantly noticed Jude’s concentration since he didn't even noticed them.
"Jude what's wrong?" Declan asked as the young man finally noticed them.
"Nun- his ex he threw away for a one night stand now has a baby" Bukayo cut him off with a teasing smile on his face, ruining Jude's attempt to change the subject.
"Mariah?!" Surprise was laced in Declan's voice at the mention of the girl. "This cannot be real"
Declan went on Mariah's page, seeing all the posts with the little girl on it.
"Five months...."
"Tamara is a such cute name" Mason intervened.
Declan had noticed a detail about the little girl's date of birth that rose his attention.
"When did you guys break up already ?"
"A little over a year ago, maybe a year and a month"
Declan's eyes widened as it all came together in his head. If little Tamara was five months, then Mariah had to get pregnant a year and two months prior. And if they broke up a year and a month ago...
"Mate," Jude nodded his head indicating he was listening "Is that your daughter?"
"Wh- No, i-it can't be, she didn't tell me anything"
As unbelievable as it sounded to him, Declan's theory had intrigued Jude. He stared at the picture of the baby while thinking. Not able to get his mind right, Jude needed external advice.

(Spoilers) Theory: Imu is not purposely sinking the One piece world. They actually are trying to delay the problem (kinda).
(Disclamer: im not expert in oceans or climate so maybe it's just nonsense but i think is worth a shot)
Let me explain:
The Lulusia kingdom destruction is being blamed for the rising on the ocean level but what if it wasn't the cause of it but actually some type of solution to the rise of the sea level?
(Lulusia after being destroyed from chapter 1089)
The destruction of that land created a massive hole that is now being filled with the ocean so shouldn't the level of water decrease after all? But like we saw in wano and water 7 and heard from Vivi in Alabasta and confirmed by vegapunk the water have been rising
Of course the effects of the destruction of Lulusia are felt and it was most likely the earthquake and those things often cause tsunamis that flood lands however what if it was gonna rise anyway and rise even more( Doflamingo said 5 meters at once was all that was needed for most cities to flood) so 1 meter in rising and a earthquake end up being not that bad for the rest of the world in comparison especially if they don't know the goverment destroyed a whole island for that.
But you can say Vegapunk said it was gonna raise only 1 meter but Vegapunk knew the goverment had the weapon to destroy a kingdom he actually created it he probably already knew if only by putting the clues they would use it in a island and because of that the sea was gonna rise only 1 meter.
This would give another reason to why Vegapunk Vegapunk kept working for the world goverment despide knowing how bad they are and even created such dangerous things for them. There was this very real problem of the rising of sea levels he was trying to solve.
This would also explain why Lulusia was destroyed like that when they didn't even know Sabo was there and the goverment didn't save that weapon for another moment like so many people questioned. They couldn't. Lulusia was one of the places that could be destroyed and create a crater big enough and probably in the right location to get flooded and ease the rise to the ocean levels. The goverment probably has the list of islands they are willing to sacrifice most likely the ones who aren't associated with the goverment but location is also important and Lulusia revolution helped for it to be chosen but it wasn't the primary reason. It was to create a space for the rising water to go.
It is probably not the first time neither and perhaps that is why a world map doesn't exist at least that is known because it most likely exist and is in Imu's hands. He use it to choose which place to destroy and create space to settle the rise in sea levels. But no one else can have one otherwise they will know that some islands that once exist don't exist anymore after one of those sessions and the goverment want to erase these places from existence.
There is one Gorosei just for the enviroment St. Marcus Mars. Climate change is in the enviroment category. He must me the responsible for studying this.
(Chapter 1086)
So Imu is trying to delay the sinking for the whole world. Am i implying they truly care about the rest of the world? No. But i believe they wanted to delay it to keep that a secret until they could get the Celestial dragons to safety. Until then the rest of the world couldn't know because they will only save themselfs but the reason people pay tributes, get into the marines and subject themselfs to the world goverment in generla is because the world government is suppose to rule the world giving them a sense of safety( example when they send the marines to stop pirates). So what would be safety for the celestial dragon? Getting out of the sinking planet. They would go to space and create a new City there.( A parallel to what some people want to do in our world) That's why the latest fashion for Celestial dragons is astronaut like gear that keep air for themselfs so they get used to it.
That's why the Gorosei are so hesitant about destroying Egghead and the mother flame because all of Vegapunk inventions are suppose to serve them in their new space city especially the mother flame that would be their energy source. I guess the fact Vegapunk is inspired by the ancient kingdom that was very advanced also play a part in this. Imu must be from that era i guess they are trying to create that type of advanced society again with the celestial dragons in space.
Other question is why the world climate is so crazy is this just the planet or interventions even not on purpose were responsible for shaping the planet to what it is today and even continue to do. Besides the destruction of Lulusia there is other examples like Punk hazard climate was created after a fight between Akainu and Aokiji, Oars was known for moving peaces of land. A more recent could be the result of 2 giants Big mom and Kaido being send to the depths of the One Piece planet I think it will have consequences for the planet. It can always be a mix of both the one piece planet is weird and have weird weather but all humans interventions also helped.
Other question is are humans native of the One piece planet? If they didn't it would be other reason to leave the planet and a reason to believe you are different from fishman in their heads superior. Maybe the fishman are the true natives of the One Piece planet as they seem to be capable of living on ocean and on land( a lot of them have feet and even mermaids get legs after a certain age ) but were driven to only live at the ocean after humans arrived and started to put them as inferior and occupied the land. Maybe a reference to how a lot of Indigenous communities used to live close to the beaches in Brazil (where Luffy is suppose to be from if he was in our planet) but they were driven further and further into the countryside after colonization because the beaches were occupied by colonizers to the point that nowdays brazilian indigeneous communities are more associated with the Amazon forest.
Also if the one piece planet weather would just be weird like that it would fit with weird weather we hear about in other planet in our own solar system so another clue this is not their native planet and would make more sense that the fishman are the natives not the humans because being capable of diving at any moment and live underwater would solve a lot of problems the weird one piece weather could cause to survival.

Hiii. I might have to stay as Anon in this one lmao. You'll definitely know who I am. Anyways, I want to ask you regarding the plot device in New Moon: The San Marco Festival (Saint Marcus Day). I remember you mentioning this:
"Also I imagine this random celebration that turned into a kinda confrontation between Marcus and Myrtis is the origin of St. Marcus Day. Like I imagine the details got all jumbled, but it’s got all the ingredients. Marcus (who probably looks pretty divine glowing in the sun), someone identifying him as Marcus (so they know what to name it), a vampire being driven away, a red cloak. I know the red cloak is supposed to symbolize victims according to the lore but again! Time and confused details!
I thought that this being the Saint Marcus Day origin would actually put an interesting parallel for New Moon and Edwards whole stunt. (the Volturi probably hate Edward for the reminder)."
How will the whole concept of The San Marco Festival go in your version, say, if you were given the full power to further develop this plot device into one big concept. Any key details perhaps? It's fine if you don't answer though lmao cuz i remember already asking this to someone but eh. Love you work <3
-"X"
Hmmm... I guess the rather disappointing answer is that I probably won't develop it much more than the tidbit that I wrote in the quote you cited. I generally lean towards the Volturi being apathetic towards humans for the most part, so I imagine that they let the humans do whatever, and the festival arose mostly from humans passing down a strange story and trying to make sense of what happened.
I do think that the fact that vampires got involved in the story might have been some mischief from the guard just wanting to mess with the humans, and when the various rumors started solidifying into a more cohesive story, the Volturi leaders gave whoever responsible a stern talking to. A hundred years down the line, I imagine Aro finds it quite funny (until he remembers why Marcus was sad and in the middle of Volterra in the first place).
I imagine that in my little universe that San Marco Festival/Saint Marcus Day is the topic of hot debate among academics. The two prevailing theories being that it is derived from Saint Mark's Feast Day somehow or "Saint Marcus" is something like "Saint Demetra" which has local religious practices combining paganism with Christianity. (This also means that people are casting Marcus in the role of Mars which is interesting.) Aro, of course, closely follows the debate.
Anyway, other than a joke to try to get Marcus to laugh at and a nice festival to use as a cover to smuggle a large group of tourists, I imagine that the Volturi of my story don't really partake in the festival. It does endear their city to them a bit more tho.
Thank you, and thanks for the ask!
#yeah I think I can hazard a guess on your identity#i imagine the city of volterra is like the volturi's pet rock. they feel some affection for it and its people but like... its also just a r#long post#asks#x anon#fic: cracks in the crypt#oc: myrtis#twilight#volturi#the volturi#saint marcus day#marcus volturi#aro volturi

Playwrights Set for THE FIRE THIS TIME Festival 7th Cycle Of New Works Lab
The seventh cycle began in October 2024 and will meet monthly through May 2025.
By: Chloe Rabinowitz Oct. 24, 2024
The Fire This Time Festival, an annual festival of new work by playwrights of African and African-American descent, has revealed that playwrights Melda Beaty (2022 International Black Theatre Festival's Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin Rolling World Premiere Award for "Coconut Cake"), Rachel Herron (2022-2023 resident playwright with Colt Coeur), and Marcus Scott (Princess Grace Award finalist) have been selected to develop full-length plays in the seventh cycle of their New Works Lab. The seventh cycle began in October 2024 and will meet monthly through May 2025.
In 2015 The Fire This Time established The Fire This Time Writers' Group with the mission to provide TFTT alumni and writers from the TFTT community the opportunity to develop new work in a nurturing and supportive environment. In 2017, the initiative was renamed the New Works Lab. From its inception to the present, the lab has been co-directed by educator and playwright Cynthia Grace Robinson ("Letters From Loretta," "Freedom Summer" "What If?" "Dancing on Eggshells") and A.J. Muhammad, a producer with TFTT. Funding for the 7th cycle of the New Works Lab was made possible by generous support from The Black Seed Fund.
Since its launch, over twenty playwrights have developed work in the New Works Lab including Kendra Augustin, Ngozi Anyanwu, France-Luce Benson, Kim Brockington, Tyrell Bennett, Christine Jean Chambers, Edgar Chisholm, Adrienne Dawes, Danielle Davenport, Khalil Kain, Jay Mazyck, Maia Matsushita, Liz Morgan, Shawn Nabors, Deneen Reynolds-Knott, T.R. Riggins, James Anthony Tyler, William Watkins, Shamar S. White, Mars Wolfe, and Antu Yacob.
Melda Beaty is an enthusiastic playwright of eight stage plays: "Front Porch Society," "Coconut Cake," "Thirty," "The Lawsons: A Civil Rights Love Story," "Feebleminded," "COVID Be Damned," "Gaslight Garden" and "Guess What's for Dinner?" Her plays have enjoyed national productions and/or recognition. Most recently, she received the 2022 International Black Theatre Festival's Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin Rolling World Premiere Award for her stage play, "Coconut Cake." The play will receive five professional productions between 2024-2025. She was also a 2021 Confluence Fellow with the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. In addition, Melda is the author of two books. When not writing, she serves on the Board of Directors for the August Wilson Society and as a contributing editor for Black Masks magazine. Melda resides in Chicago, Illinois with her three talented daughters and is an assistant professor of English at Olive-Harvey Community College. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her graduate degree from Illinois State University.
Rachel Herron is a Black, queer, multidisciplinary artist residing in Brooklyn. She is currently a company member of Colt Coeur Theater, where she was a 2022-2023 resident playwright. Her plays include "It's Only a High School Reunion" (Live and In Color 24 Hour Festival), "Red Red Wine" (Fire This Time Festival 13th annual Ten-Minute Play Program), and "Token" (O'Neill Center Semifinalist). Additionally, her playwriting portfolio has landed her as a finalist for the WP Theater Lab and a semi-finalist for the June Bingham Commission with Live and In Color. She's written several original pilots, of which she was named a CBS Writers Mentoring Program finalist (2019), a Mentorship Matters semifinalist (2021), and a two-time Disney Writing Program finalist (2022 and 2023). She is a mentee in the #startwith8 program for women of color trying to break into television writing. She wrote, directed, and starred in a short film called IDOL CHASER, which premiered in Fall 2024 at Katra Film Series and took home the Audience Choice Award. Her satirical writing is featured on McSweeney's Internet Tendency. She received a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Marcus Scott is a dramatist and journalist. Full-length works: TUMBLEWEED (finalist: 2017 BAPF & 2017 Austin Playhouse Festival of New American Plays; semifinalist: 2022 O'Neill NPC, 2022 Blue Ink Playwriting Award & 2017 Princess Grace Award), SIBLING RIVALRIES (finalist: 2023 Normal Ave's NAPseries, 2021 Seven Devils Playwrights Conference & 2021 Judith Royer Excellence In Playwriting Award; semi-finalist: 2022 Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, 2021 Blue Ink Playwriting Award & 2021 Princess Grace Award), THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD (finalist: 2023 Princess Grace Award, 2023 Blue Ink Playwriting Award; semifinalist: 2024 BAPF, 2024 Fault Line Theater's Irons in the Fire & 2024 O'Neill NPC), CHERRY BOMB (recipient: 2017 Drama League First Stage Artist-In-Residence). Heartbeat Opera commissioned Scott to adapt Beethoven's FIDELIO (Co-writer; Met Live Arts at the MET Museum, NY Times Critics' Pick). Scott is the recipient of the Chelsey/Bumbalo Playwriting Award (2024). He is a finalist for the 2024-2025 Dramatists Guild Foundation National Fellows Program, 2022 Many Voices Fellowship, 2021 NYSAF Founders' Award and is a 2021 Doric Wilson Independent Playwright Award semi-finalist. His articles appeared in Architectural Digest, Time Out New York, American Theatre Magazine, Playbill, Elle, Out, Essence, The Brooklyn Rail, among others. MFA: NYU Tisch.
The Fire This Time Festival was founded in 2009 by playwright and producer Kelley Girod to provide a platform for playwrights of African and African-American descent to write and produce evocative material for diverse audiences. Since the debut of the first 10-minute play program in 2010, presented in collaboration with FRIGID New York, The Fire This Time Festival has has produced and developed the work of more than 90 playwrights including Katori Hall, Dominique Morisseau, Radha Blank, Antoinette Nwandu, Jocelyn Bioh, korde arrington tuttle, Stacey Rose, Aziza Barnes, C.A. Johnson, Kevin R. Free, Charly Evon Simpson, Angelica Cheri, James Anthony Tyler, Jordan Cooper, Nathan Yungerberg, Nia A. Robinson, and Cris Eli Blak.
The Fire This Time's first anthology, "25 Plays from The Fire This Time Festival: A Decade of Recognition, Resistance, Rebirth, and Black Theater" edited by Kelley Girod was released by Bloomsbury Publishing in February 2022. www.firethistimefestival.com
FRIGID New York's mission is to provide both emerging and established artists the opportunity to create and produce original work of varied content, form, and style, and to amplify their diverse voices. We do this by presenting an array of monthly programming, mainstage productions, an artist residency, and eight annual theater festivals that create an environment of collaboration, resourcefulness, and innovation. Founded in 1998, the aim was and is to form a structure, allowing multiple artists to focus on creating and staging new work and providing affordable rental space to scores of independent artists. Now in our third decade we have produced a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater. www.frigid.nyc

sanji will fight Marcus mars and possible connection to Germa66
in the story/myth of the man in the iron mask which sanji's backstory was based on. the guy who was the man in the iron mask's prison governor/warden was named saint mars
@bottlepiecemuses
"
Judge spoke of the former people of Germa left as wondering ghosts unable to set foot on their homeland and disgracing their memory so we can infer they're probably vengeful. The Itsumade in some myths are created from vengeful spirits, not just attracted by them. When mentioning prefectures, Oda said Sanji would be Kyoto where the myth of the Itsumade originates. Then there's also this of course:
the French prison warden for the man in the iron mask was saint mars
"
sanji has several associations with the planet venus
while zoro's zodiac is a Scorpio who has the ruling planet to mars
