IM MOVING OUT!!!
Ok so, some and others don’t know that this is a side blog, and so i dont know how this side blog thing works, because since the very start of this blog, it had some problems regarding uploading my drawings because those drawings never appeared on the tags i wrote, and that would mean that no one except followers could look at them, and then it became really constant, so then i decided to contact my issue to the staff but… surprise! the answer they gave me was useless so the problem this blog has won’t be fixed and it’s really annoying to keep uploading the same drawing over and over again, changing the tags, and looking at those tags to see if it appears. That’s why I decided to create a new blog, (this one won’t be a sideblog) hoping it wont have the same problem this one has. So I would appreciate it if anyone who reads this and follows this blog, could follow my new one where i’ll post my new content! n_n https://radiantsky-art.tumblr.com/
Goodbye and see you (I hope) on my new blog!

Noticing a little chill in the air? Getting darker a little sooner? That must mean it’s almost time for Frosty Fest! This special global in-game event will turn Inkopolis Square into a winter wonderland! The graffiti in stages will also be winter themed, and Inklings and Octolings will get to use some very fancy glitter-filled ink!
In keeping with the season, this Splatfest asks: Who do you get most excited to spend the holidays with, Friends or Family? Grab a coat and battle it out in the 48-hour event from January 4th, 2:00pm PT, to January 6th, 2:00pm PT.
Along with the Frosty Fest, special gear items will be distributed via the Squid Research Lab Report (Splatoon 2) News Channel on your Nintendo Switch system. Keep your eyes open for these free holiday gifts in late December, and check back regularly so you don’t miss them!

A special tournament-style Splatfest is coming to Splatoon 2! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are rising up to take the stage, and it’s up to you to vote and battle for your favorite Turtle! Will you root for Raph? Lay down some ink for Leo? Make some noise for Mikey? Or dominate for Donnie?
The first of three Splatfest tournaments will pit Raph against Leo on 5/4-5/5, with the second on 5/11-5/12, featuring Mikey vs. Donnie, and the final match between the winners takes place on 5/18-5/19. Which brother will be crowned the most bodacious?
The first round of the @tmnt Splatfest features Raph vs. Leo and oozes into action 5/4 at 9pm PT!

We have an aquatic announcement from our overseas colleagues who are partnering with the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC for short). JAMSTEC is a scientific research institute dedicated to an integrated understanding of the Oceans, the Earth, and Life, all while contributing to the advancement of academic research. That means JAMSTEC and the Splatoon 2 game are both anchored around the key themes of the ocean and the deep sea.
In fact, the gear you can get in Salmon Run this month is the Oceanic Hard Hat, an in-game replica helmet like the one JAMSTEC staff and scientists wear every day, offering protection for their hard work offshore.
Another fun fact is that the Autobomb sub-weapon in the Splatoon 2 game took some design inspiration from a JAMSTEC research vehicle called SHINKAI 6500. Completed in 1990, SHINKAI 6500 is a manned submersible that can dive to depths of 6,500 meters.
In the upcoming Octo Expansion DLC, SHINKAI 6500 will even make an appearance, as mysteries still remain in the deep-sea world of Inklings.
You may have also noticed that a scientific drilling vessel appeared near the battle stage Manta Maria. This real-life vessel, named CHIKYU, meaning “The Earth” in Japanese, can drill in water as deep as three Mt. Fujis combined, and it continues to close in on mysteries deep inside the Earth as part of the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP). To learn more about the research and science of JAMSTEC, you can check out more details here: http://www.jamstec.go.jp/e/

Attention! Clam Blitz, a fierce new Ranked Battle mode, will be added to Splatoon 2 on the evening of December 12th – Wait a sec, that’s tonight! Our dedicated team of researchers have been investigating this latest phenomenon, and managed to grab some fresh new footage.
What’s it all about?
In Clam Blitz, you’ll find clams scattered all over the stage. Collect them, then head to your opponents’ base and fire them into the enemy basket. First team to score 100 points wins!
Sounds kinda easy…
Yeah, maybe. If the enemy basket wasn’t protected by an almighty clam-repelling barrier of doom! Ahem… To break through this mysterious barrier, you’ll first need to create a Power Clam by rounding up 10 standard clams.
So I’ve got a Power Clam. Now what?
Now BOOYAH! Take aim and smash that sucker right through and fire all your clams into the basket. Breaking through the barrier will net you 20 points, while each clam you toss in after that is worth 3 points.
Will that barrier stay down for the whole match?
Not likely! As soon as you break through, it’ll start to repair itself. By chucking clams in, you can extend the timer a little, but once it hits zero, the pesky thing will be back to dam your clams.
Moral of the story? As soon as you break through, toss in as many clams as you can possibly muster. It’s a shellfish siege!
What if the enemy breaks through my team’s barrier?
Fight back with all your might and prepare to counter-attack – once your barrier’s back up, a Power Clam will appear at your basket, so you can go up the other end and give ‘em what for.
Anything else I need to know?
· If you get splatted, you’ll drop all the clams you were carrying
· If a teammate gets splatted, pick their clams up before the enemy does
· You can pass clams to a teammate with the A Button or L Button if you think it’ll help
· If the time runs out before a team reaches 0, the team with the highest score wins
All right, I’m in. When can I start playing?
Going forward, it’ll be in Ranked & League Battle rotation alongside the existing Tower Control, Splat Zones and Rainmaker modes.
And don’t forget, you can record your most glorious Clam Blitz moments by holding the Capture Button, then upload the goods to social media for instant bragging rights.
