Business Card Printing-An Integral Part of Card Manufacturing Process
Tumblr media
To ease the sharing of business information, digital business cards with a QR code have emerged as a beacon of competence and unified networking. Yet, you must agree to the fact that not all digital cards are created equal. To make your networking tool become unique, you can consider these four characteristics that streamline the connections and add a human touch.
They Don’t Carry Mere Information, They carry Your Business identity
Modern business cards are versatile as they carry a huge amount of information about your business. These cards carry your business identity that you can share in a flash. Indeed, this facility can create a strong reputation for your business. The business card design and printing company can train you to change the information later on. With the training, you can do it without reaching them again.
First Impression Makes An Everlasting Impression
The technical excellence of digital business cards depends on their looks and functionalities. The cards make a lasting first impression. Business card printing adds a dimension of professionalism and sincerity to your business. The act of exchanging a physical card is a ritual that experts in this domain can handle. It's a moment when faces become names, and connections become possibilities.
Improving the Digital Time
As we navigate the digital landscape, there's a growing yearning for human connection. Business card printing bridges the gap between the virtual and the tangible. It transforms a casual meeting into a meaningful connection, where a piece of cardstock becomes a reminder of a shared moment, a shared vision.
Superior Craftsmanship
From the experts in business card printing to other professionals, the team works to make the cards a decent success. Their capabilities have the ability to make the cards look good and give the best information to others. Due to their unique and brilliant work, the card becomes special to show its owner’s business.
The Bottom Line:
In the symphony of card manufacturing, business card printing emerges as a melody that resonates beyond the surface. It's an acknowledgment that in the digital age, where everything seems temporary, a tangible connection is a treasure. So, let the printing press roll, let the ink dance on the paper, and let every business card tell a story of connection in a language that goes beyond words.

Every three years or so, I get the urge to make new business card designs, usually right before a big trip or event or something. This time around I was bemoaning the fact that I couldn't post them (because I try my best to keep my wallet name off of tumblr) and then I remembered that I can just... type in a different name. So enjoy some slightly altered business card designs from 2018, 2021, and 2024!

deck of playing card-sized prints I ordered from artscow just came in a couple days ago! (of this piece)
gonna try handing these out at tennocon this year! I might also order another deck or two since I'm pretty happy with this one (though i might make some adjustments if i have the time who knows)
(oh yeah and these prints are secretly just on the backs of regular ass playing cards cause it's cheaper (and maybe a bit gimmicky?) lmao)
Tumblr media
I was inspired to go with playing cards partially due to people's suggestions on the original art post, but also because of this small outer wilds nomai print I got randomly from Fangamer alongside my copy of Tunic for switch! I just really like the idea of a smaller print having rounded corners I guess (the artist is Elliot Bouriot btw)
Tumblr media
it's very cool I like this outer wilds print a lot :)
idk hopefully it'll be a fun thing to pass around at tennocon, would be cool to try and expand upon the idea in the future though! just might require a lot more work to feel like an actual product if I ever intend on selling this kind of thing lol

Happy fourth anniversary to... well, me! It was four years ago that I signed up for tumblr under the now all-familiar StarDestroyer81 name, and to celebrate, I come bearing some particularly exciting news I've been waiting a few months to announce...
⭐I HAVE A REDBUBBLE STORE!!! ⭐
Shirts, stickers, pins— you want it? It's yours, my friend; as long as you check out the above link! If you've ever wanted to directly support me— or would just love to have select works of mine on merch of your choice— I highly suggest giving my store a look as I put so much work into prepping it for my blog's fourth anniversary! 💙🏳️‍⚧️✨

i feel it's so fucking stupid and ungrateful but it still hurts a little when someone gifts me something i just don't like. i don't know. i know it's dumb and inaccurate to astrain that much meaning to a simple gift, but it feels kinda like they don't know me. i guess it feels like people don't see me, like a reminder that the person i reflect and the person i feel like are incredibly different.
#two fairly recent examples jump to mind#last year my class did a secret santa#the guy who got my name barely knew me so instead he asked our litterature teacher for tips#i was doing an effort to participate a lot in her classes and discuss stuff and i felt like she was an adult i could really trust#and adult who Gets It#and she picked just. the wrong gift. a classical philosophy essay.#stuff i hate reading. stuff i hate thinking about.#i said thank you to both of them and tried to read it during christmas break still. but i was right. i hated it.#and this year's christmas#recently i tried patching things up with my parents and we are a lot more communicative now#so they've opened up that my demand not to receive any gifts was painful to them#so we had an agreement: we write open-hearted letters to each other on christmas.#and they can gift me something if they'd like but no pressure if they don't find anything they feel would be a good gift#bc i myself opened up about the whole ''inaccurate gift'' thing being one of the reasons i dislike receiving stuff#and guess what. christmas comes. they got me a printed card from an artist whose work we saw at a local art thing earlier that year.#that artist does mainly either plants or nice architecture. stuff i love.#they picked the ONE work of hers that doesn't look like that. some reinterpretation of the great wave of kanagawa#a piece which i dislike with a passion for aesthetic reasons#i had promised i'd be honest if their gift missed the mark but tbh i couldn't. it's just an aesthetic thing it's completely begnin.#it's not like they spent lots or tried to pick something that was USEFUL#so i smiled and the picture is hanging with other stuff in my room#and i thanked them and i can't express how genuinely glad i am we have a better relationship#but man i felt my heart break a little under the tree in that moment#idk#i know it's silly but it makes me feel weird. and cold.#broadcasting my misery#vent

My pillroach credit card continues to be a hit everywhere. Had an employee at a place I get lunch frequently come stumbling out of the back to “finally” ask to get a good look at it bc he’s been seeing that it was a yugioh card but had never had the chance to see Which one. I had to hold myself back from giving him the entire rundown of the pillroach card background

started making this super creative and interactive birthday card for a friend and it turned into the biggest craft project i've undertaken in A While (so basically not particularly big) and it was fun and honestly kinda therapeutic and frankly i've outdone myself lol. very happy that i thought of this concept and then literally just. executed it <3

So my name and legal gender have changed today, i'm going on monday to apply for a new id card and i'll also inform my bank on monday so hopefully i won't have to be without bank access for too many days
But i sent my family a message just like "hey btw it's changed officially now here's my middle names" and both of my parents just sent loving emojis
Then me and mum had a video call where after some chitchat she went "so you changed your name?", i replied "yeah" and then both of us were just silent until i broke and said "anyway how's the weather there?"
So it's not a disaster but neither one of us knows what to say, honestly
Also just so that i actually get around to doing it: i want to send a message to my relatives' group chat just like "hey surprise i'm trans here's the new name but don't tell grandma" and i want to do it preferably this weekend but before wednesday at the latest

So its hard not to feel completely out of place when your badge was only gifted to you because you happen to volunteer at a place every monday at the same time a Legend does. There's not a lot to volunteering - it doesn't require qualifications or a portfolio, you just have to know how to sweep leaves and cobwebds and memorize a ton of historical facts, and also wave to guests as they go by on the train. And here i am being introduced to important people with this sticker on my badge, and i want to go hide under a rock. BUT. But. Then a thing happened.
Dont get me wrong, i still absolutely do not belong here. But today as i sat down to lunch with everybody, somehow we got on the topic of googling people and jeff was being all 'i never google anybody i just ASK' and me and the wife of the Legend were disagreeing with him (the only two women at the table). And i told jeff i googled him after we met, and he was acting as if this was a betrayal, but i was like 'jeff, you were a man twice my age suddenly inviting me to things and spending a lot of time with me. of fucking course i googled you extensively'. And the Legend's wife was nodding along with me. And she added on that she googled ME.
And of course i was sitting there like Oh Fuck. How much of a panic should i be in right now?
And then she leaned in and said "your drawings are really good by the way. [the legend] thinks so too, we were looking at them".
I'm terrible at taking critique. I'M EVEN WORSE AT TAKING A COMPLIMENT. I was in like 100% panic mode, i dont remember how i responded, i was mostly just sitting there in shock.
So here's the thing about The Legend's wife - she's an artist, but not as loud about it, but every bit as talented in her own right. And she's intimidating. Not because of anything I've seen her do. But because everybody who intimidates me is intimidated by her, so its like passed down intimidation. (personally i've witnessed her hold court over an entire dinner booth full of fellow women in the industry who were giggling and chatting up a storm and i think the 'intimidation' is heavily skewed towards men).
One time after the Legend gave me a tour of the studios I baked him chocolate chip cookies as a thank you. And his wife happened to be there when I finally got the chance to deliver them. And she didn't try one in front of me, but i heard from jeff a few days later that not only did she eat a cookie (unheard of) but she also said it was the best cookie ever and that it actually made her want to drink milk (and she hates milk). And holy shit i was so proud, jeff was acting like i'd been annointed by a king. It was very clear that if i was to try to impress someone, she was the one to impress.
What im saying is, she has very high standards, she does not bullshit anyone, and unlike a lot of people in this industry will not give out praise unless its genuine.
And she liked my drawings ;_;
This weekend is over for me, im done, pack up, go home, it cant get better than this, ive peaked \o/

ahhh the woes of when some rando walks into the shop at work wanting to sell me something to sell i the gift shop out of the blue.
like bruh…this shoulda been an email.
i’m not sure which is worse tho…the ones that come in completely unprepared (like…motherfuckers can’t even find pictures of their product in their photos app because they don’t bother to organize that shit into a specific folder), or the ones that just show up with a big box of their shit and a pushy attitude.
either way, they both suck and i usually ghost them once they finally leave.

Well I just got curious and made an account on another credit checking site and yep, my credit under my old name is different from my new name. My student loans and biggest credit card don't show up on my new name account - I'm the same goddamn person with the same social security number. Why is this my problem.
