Nadia dropped her gaze to the ground. It was cowardly, but she didn't know what else to do; she could feel her composure slipping, and the last thing that she wanted to do in front of her little sister's best friend was cry. It wasn't the first time in the past few months that she had felt this particular cocktail of emotions. Shame. Guilt. Regret. Remorse. But it hit a lot different knowing that now, it wasn't about what she had done in the name of saving face for her rich clients, or about crossing increasingly dubious lines until she wasn't sure if she had any left to cross. She wasn't doing this because it was her job, and the person she was hurting wasn't a stranger. It was her little sister.

"You're right," she said after a moment, once she had composed herself enough to look back up at Izzie. Honestly, she couldn't tell if it was better or worse that her tone had softened—glancing up and seeing what almost resembled pity on the other's face really hammered home how pathetic she had been. "I'll... I'll talk to her. I promise. And I know that promise isn't worth a lot to you until I actually act on it, but I expect you'll hold me accountable if I don't follow through." Nadia paused. Her arms were crossed over her chest, but it wasn't confident, it was contrite. "It was good seeing you, Isabel. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm... Gonna go figure out what I'm gonna say to her."

"you don't know her because you didn't try to know her! you came back here and started acting like she doesn't exist at all, and then you make the excuse that it's because she's grown and you don't know her? have you ever maybe stopped to think that you could fix that?" isabel was still clearly very angry, but her features had softened some. ames was the one person who had ever grounded her, and watching her practically dig herself into a depression pit because her sister was around just wasn't something she planned to tolerate. whether nadia wanted to fix things or not was up to her, but she wouldn't be spared a piece of isabel's mind in the process. "yes, i can blame you for thinking that. this is just another hefty example of you only ever thinking about yourself. she's the only family you have left, and all you can do is be the center of another pity party. it's actually pathetic."

"look," isabel sighed, her tone no longer as harsh as it had been. "you have a lot of choices to make here, but i' encouraging you to at least talk to your sister. you owe it to her to do that, don't you think?" she paused again, her gaze going even softer. "let her decide if she wants you in her life or not. don't make decisions for her."

Noah Mudaliar: The High IQ

Here is my design of Noah for my TDWT Rewrite: I've Been Around The World! (Which is being written)

If you've seen my headcanons, you will see some of the information from those here! Like the monogrammed sweater vest that has DP on it that stands for Drama Productions since that is the network that Chris works for and as Noah was his assistant Chris got him the vest so he would stand out from the "lame interns."

He has a pair of sunglasses that he "stole" from Chris. Really, Chris shoved them on his face one day, and Noah just never gave them back. They are Gucci UwU

He is wearing cargo pants that unzip at the knees to make shorts! I don't know who on here had that idea originally, but I loved it and was so inspired by it that I had to give them to my boy!

He is still wearing hiking boots. I just made them look like actual hiking boots. XD Specifically, NORTIV brand hiking boots. And I kept the three shirts because, honestly, how iconic of him to be a fashion disaster???

He also has a utility belt that he started wearing once he started working for Chris because, honestly, he had to be prepared for anything and with the utility belt he could be prepared for a lot of it. No one truly knows all he holds in the belt, but it seems like Mary Poppin's bag given how many things he pulls out of the pockets.

You may have noticed the three bracelets and those were given to him by either friends or family. He wears them every day. The first bracelet is a friendship bracelet given to him by Izzy that has his "signature colors" on it according to said redhead. It has his, Owen's, Izzy's, and Eva's names on it along with a long part that reads 'TeamEscope' and Izzy carved '+O' into two beads.

Then there is the red cord bracelet that his mother gave to him and all his sisters that has their family name on it in gold. 'Mudaliar' His cord is red because he wears it the most out of all his family members.

The last bracelet is one his sister Nadia made for him when he first got onto Total Drama Island. It's made from his golden retriever, Nana's old dog tag, since she knew he would miss her while he was away. He bought Nana a new one before he left.

Yes, his dog is named Nana, and even though they are not the same breed, she was named after the dog in Peter Pan. Her middle name is Ark because he thought it was funny.

7:12am - Charlotte

I’m greeted by the scent of baked goods as soon as I enter the kitchen. Emmett must be warming up some of the muffins that his mum gave him yesterday. Everyone’s favorite. The kids will be happy. Maybe Georgia will cheer up.

I don’t know what could be bothering her, she’s been up for less than an hour. She went to bed fairly quickly after we got home last night. I wasn’t able to talk to her about what happened with Nadia’s mum. I know it’s probably not ideal to talk about it before bed or before school, but I don’t have a lot options. It can wait. I’ll figure it out today. There are more important things to deal with at the moment.

“Hey.” My husband approaches from behind, slightly grazing my back with his hand as he passes me. “The twins are on their way down.”

“Okay,” I reply.

He opens the oven and checks on breakfast. “You think they’re warm?” he asks, putting on a bright red oven mitt. 

“I’m not sure, how long did you have them in there?” 

“No idea.” He takes the cookie sheet out of the oven and slides it onto the granite. “Only one way to find out.”

Before I can say anything, he takes one of the muffins and stuffs it into his mouth. He doesn’t bother to remove the paper, he never does. He eats the top of the muffin first and then unwraps it. He gives me a thumbs up and takes another bite. “Want some?” I can barely understand him.

I shake my head. “I’ll get my own,” I say. I’ll let the kids pick whichever one they want first. The twins especially are particular about their baked goods. 

Emmett finishes his muffin and throws the wrapper away. He must’ve done that in three bites. Lena’s baked goods always go quickly. Emmett has tried to mimic her recipes, he can never get them quite right. He arranges the muffins on a cutting board and puts the cookie sheet in the sink.

“How are you feeling this morning?” I was up sick all last night, Emmett was taking care of me. I think we were finally able to go to bed around one.

“Better.” Thank god. I can’t wait to be done with this. I’m already exhausted. I’m worried it’s only going to get worse.

“How’d it go with Peach?” he asks.

“It didn’t.” I hand him his coffee, he trades me for my tea. I don’t know when we started making each other’s drinks in the morning, but now it’s part of our routine. Emmett always takes his coffee the same way: a little bit of milk and no sugar. I don’t add anything to my tea.

“Why not?” He raises his eyebrow.

“She’s upset over something.”

“Upset over what?”

“I’m not sure. She kicked me out when I tried to ask.” I frown. It’s not like her not to tell me. It’s especially not like her to kick me out.

Our conversation is interrupted by stomping down the stairs. “Hey, no pushing!” That’s Lucy. If I had to guess, the twins are probably racing each other.

“I win!” Liam boasts. He usually does.

“Yeah, because you cheated.”

“No I didn’t, you’re just slow,” he laughs. 

“What have we told you two about racing down the stairs?” Emmett calls out.

“Sorry, Dad, we forgot!” Lucy skips into the kitchen, followed by her brother. She notices the muffins on the counter and grins. “Are these Nana’s muffins?”

Emmett crosses his arms. “They are. You can have one if you promise to stop racing down the stairs.”

“Okay! I promise!” She stares at the muffins, looking at each one carefully. “I call this one!” She points to the one with the largest berries on it. “Mom, will you braid my hair?”

“After we eat.” I smile at her. Doing Lucy’s hair is one of my favorite parts about the morning.

“I want this one,” Liam says quietly, gesturing to the largest muffin on the board.

“Let’s wait for Georgia and then we’ll eat, okay?” The twins nod their heads in agreement.

“Hey, Lulu, where’d you get that shirt?” Emmett asks. Metallica. That’s not something I would buy.

Lucy looks down at her shirt and shrugs. “I don’t know, it was in my closet.” Did I do that? Probably. I still have no idea where it came from.

“It’s Izzy’s. All of his shirts look like that,” Liam answers. Okay, that makes sense. Between the two of them, there’s probably a week’s worth of clothes between our house and the Kerrigan's.

Emmett and Liam start talking about his tryouts. He has them again today and for the next two days. We’re all hoping he makes it onto a competitive club team. I just hope the practices aren’t too long if he does make it. They got home last night at the same time the girls and I did. 9:30. Liam fell asleep in the car, Emmett had to carry him in.

The four of us don’t hear Georgia come down the stairs. She silently enters the kitchen and goes straight for the fridge. She’s looking for something, most likely her favorite juice. I’m fairly certain she finished it yesterday. She slams the fridge shut, obviously frustrated. The conversation about tryouts is on hold. Emmett and I make eye contact. The twins are staring at their sister.

Emmett breaks the silence, “Morning, Peach.” She glances at him, not saying anything.

“Someone’s in a bad mood,” Lucy says. Not this morning, please. 

Georgia ignores her as well, now looking for something in the pantry. She sighs, closing the door softly this time.

“What are you looking for?” Emmett asks.

“Breakfast.” She scratches the side of her head.

“You don’t want a muffin?”

“No.”

“Wow, you must be in a really bad mood to not want Nana’s muffins,” Lucy teases.

“Hey, Lulu, knock it off,” Emmett says. 

“I’m not doing anything!” 

“Shut up, Lucy.” Georgia glares at her younger sister.

“Make me.” Lucy smirks. She knows exactly what she’s doing.

“Lucy, seriously, enough,” I say firmly. Before she can contest, I turn to Georgia. “Georgia, you’re allowed to be in a bad mood, but that doesn’t mean you get to take it out on everyone, okay?” Something must really be bothering her. Maybe she’ll talk about it on the ride to school.

“Oh, right, I can’t. But you can.” She rolls her eyes. Is this about the other day? It has to be.

“No. It’s not okay for me to do either,” I respond. I don’t know what else to say. I have to wonder if she’s upset at something or upset at me. Or both. It’s been weird between us since I lost my temper with her. Not bad, but not normal. I thought we were at least okay. I guess not.

“Whatever.” She takes a pear out of the bowl on the counter and leaves the kitchen. That won’t be enough, I’ll make her something and offer it to her in the car. I sigh, it’ll probably be a silent car ride this morning.

“Okay… Does this mean we can eat muffins now?” Lucy asks.

“Sure, go ahead,” Emmett responds. The twins both grab their breakfast and head to the table. I was hungry earlier, now I think I’ve lost my appetite. It’s going to be a long day.

• I adore Molotov the bear from Cinna (Cinnamas) 's fic, With a Little Help From My Friends. Therefore, the bear here is also Molotov, but he has his family also working on the show. It's Molotov, his brother Machete, and his sister Morningstar.

• Chris is about to start the wedding dress obstacle course when he sees Noah and Eva playing rock-paper-scissors, "What are you two doing?"

Noah: "Seeing who has to be the bride and wear the dress."

Chris: "But Eva's the bride?"

Eva: "Nope. Noah just lost. He's the bride."

Chris: "But that's not how....you know what whatever. Okay, Noah, our beautiful bride, join the others and grab a blindfold!"

• Noah lost on purpose because he knows Eva isn't fully comfortable nor confident in dresses.

• Alejandro fell because he was so distracted by Noah in the wedding dress, and Izzy knew that, so she purposefully made them lose balance.

• Noah is the one who kind of kickstarted Harold's elimination. He and Izzy noticed Alejandro's attention was on Team Victory, and they also noticed how distracted Harold was by Alejandro flirting with Leshawana, so they made an educated guess who the next target was. Noah made a passing comment on the cultural insensitivity Chris was promoting knowing how Harold would react.

• And of course, Harold reacted as he and Izzy predicted. Thus making the ginger more susceptible to Alejandro's manipulations.

• Eva is the one who overheard DJ freaking out about being cursed on the plane and how it's brought him bad luck. She doesn't believe in curses and fully thinks DJ is making this stuff happen because of how he lost his confidence and how jumpy his is. She also thinks he believes in the curse so wholeheartedly because he wants to go back home to his Momma.

• She talks with Izzy and Noah about sending the poor boy home, and the two agree. So Izzy makes sure to talk about how a lot of her family has been cursed and how it led to a lot of problems and/or deaths. Noah spoke more about his culture, which was great because it seemed nonchalant when everyone figured he would scoff or roll his eyes at the talk of curses. Courtney was the one who pointed out his "out of character" non response.

• So he got to talk about his culture and how they view curses. It was honestly kind of fun to tell everyone about himself a bit, considering he's a pretty private person. He even spoke about how his sister's Naomi, Nisha, and Nadia were superstitious. Of course, he didn't make fun of them for their superstitions. He may not fully believe in them, but he would never make fun of them. It's all about respect.

• All the curse talk definitely got to DJ, and DJ does end up going home in Paris since he asks Lindsay what could make him lose. Lindsay was planning to lose so she could go shopping, but seeing how exhausted and scared DJ was, she agreed to help him lose. Plus, she spoke with Noah during one of their "judging sessions" (where they shit talk people's choices, Lindsay with fashion and Noah with everything else), and he also seemed worried about DJ.

• That's how she knew it was serious when even Noah was worried.

• Team E-Scope made a confessional right after the elimination where they apologized to DJ, but told him he needed to get out of the competition for his mental health. They had seriously been worried about the dude. Of course, DJ had no hard feelings. They helped him get home.

• Alejandro walked into one of the statue heads in Rapa Nui and broke one of his eggs because he saw Noah in just his sweater vest. JUST HIS SWEATER VEST HOW WAS HE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DISTRACTED BY THAT!?

• Noah was in only the sweater vest because he was making a sling out of his compression shirt and button-up. He made one for Eva out of her sweater, and Izzy made one from the wrap she used as a skirt. She has shorts under.

• The viewers went crazy for Noah's new look. Sadly for them it was very temporary.

• Team E-Scope's training before the competition began consisted of diving off high places given Chris's love for that, eating weird things, balance practice, and building things with and without instructions.

• But Noah's sisters also had him practice other things.
