I think awhile back you did glamrocks x child reader (platonic) saying their first words but I saw you didn't do the same with Sun and Moon, sooo could you possibly do sun and moon aswell pls?
-Greek myth anon 📜
Aw you remember those? They're ancient haha.
Here were those hcs for anyone who wants to read them
...........
Sun
"Sun! Bye-bye!"
At first, he didn't think much of it when you spoke, waving goodbye and going back to the tables after handing you over to your parent(s).
Yet they went up to him, and at first he thought they had a serious complaint.
Or maybe he accidentally gave them the wrong child.
But after revealing that you just said your first words, including his name, it clicks in his mind and he's SUPER overjoyed, bouncing on his heels and grinning.
"Oh my gosh I am SO proud of you, starshine!!" He coos, shaking your tiny little hands. "Keep up the great work!!"
If you ever come back to the Pizzaplex when you're older, he's never gonna let you forget that.
Moon
"M...Moon!"
"Yes, little firefly. I'm.....what's that look for?"
Moon stares at your bewildered guardian, who has to explain that they've been trying to get you to say your first words for weeks now, without much success.
You refused to say "Freddy" no matter how many times they've taken you to see him for photo-ops and events. Not even the bear himself could encourage you.
Yet within five seconds of meeting Moon for the first time...you said his name and were eager to go with him.
He's kinda shocked that you weren't immediately scared of him like all the other toddlers.
But he's happy (and definitely smug about it, bragging to Sun 100%).
"The children may like you more...but have any of them ever said their first word was "Sun"? I don't think so~"

yeah overthinking prophecies is the mind killer but i have to say my piece re azor ahai, that is, if it's really meant to be one character, then the best narrative choice is dany. not only because she fulfills every word of the prophecy an entire book before we even learn of its existence. but also "no one ever looked for a girl," aemon tells us. in-universe her gender precludes her from being imagined as the saviour figure and on a meta level even the readers don't think the 16 year old girl with this much power (dragons) will be allowed to keep that power and fulfill an important narrative destiny as a hero of the story. the expectation is that the character will be brought low and/or surpassed by the classic warrior hero archetype of jon. which is why i think dany being AA is the most subversive choice. and would actually make jon the red herring.

replaying alan wake 2, walking around the woods near cauldron lake, I notice that there's a lot of this specific plant, bracken. in finnish, the word for it is "sananjalka" which literally translates to "foot of the word". they seem to grow thicker the closer you get to the lake. I wonder if that's intentional

"What Do You See, Red Dwarf,
Sailing In the Night Sky?"
Tumblr media
Got inspired by Doc's newest episode.
(The original plan was to recreate the "Do You Love the Color of the Sky?" Post, but the size made Tumblr absolutely eviscerate the quality, so you get this instead)

every batch has an extra brother. the brother needs neither pod nor rations, and he doesn't take part in flash training or live fire drills. he doesn't speak. he doesn't sleep. he doesn't scream.
the silent brother is the one constant in a clone's existence.
in his sealed mouth are the names and designations of every sibling gone before; those that are taken in the night by the longnecks, and those taken in the day by a trainer's hand. he keeps the names safe beneath his still tongue. the day will come to speak them back.
in his cupped hands has passed every drop of clone blood spilled on kamino; he catches the blood of cuts, burns, blaster bolts, and beatings. there is a sea on kamino that roils clone red. the day will come when the waters rise.
in his shadow is a doorway. some siblings cross through early, under their own power or anothers', and some stand at the threshold for hours or days before turning back. the shadow of the silent brother can be found on kamino. geonosis. coruscant. everywhere a clone walks, the silent brother's shadow is at their heels, waiting to welcome them home.
the day will come.
