So sorry for the delay in replying and thanks for you questions :)

My main theory was that Daxton shippers tend to be older, appreciate open and honest communication, and prioritise themselves.

it really stems from a rewatch of s1 and s2 and realising that Ben doesn't actually apologise for the shitty stuff he'd said and done to Devi. As a brown girl, I've had boys make fun of my body hair before I started getting my eyebrows and stache done, and that really hurt as an impressionable adolescent. Similarly, calling someone an Unfuckable Nerd is not a bantery, funny remark. That's just cruel and Devi was really hurt by it. Up until mid s3, Ben had yet to apologise to Devi for his shitty behaviour - it was just excused due to him being alone and having absentee parents.

Whereas with Paxton, whenever he screwed up, he eventually went back to Devi, talked it out and apologised. They weren't perfect by any means, but I was very impressed by how they communicated.

However, I think there was a poll going around that showed that the age ranges are pretty evenly split between both ships, so part of my theory has already been disproven. Lawls

Thoughts on mercury placements

!! everything is based purely on my experiences with signs, written with no other purpose than to share my observations and be unserious.

Gemini mercury. Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks mercury. When they talk be sure ur not the only one hearing this thought for the first time - they are too. They think as they speak. Cannot hold info inside of them longer than 5 minutes so no secrets kept, no embarrassing opinions left unspoken.

Sagittarius mercury. This one doesn’t really stir the pot, usually just blows it up. They are bold with words for no reason. What they are saying is almost always what they truly think. Will give a random lecture that no one asked for on a topic they barely know anything about.

Aries mercury. Сan either be supeeeer fun or suuuuuper insane and nothing in between. Very expressive and usually swear a lot, but they have the best sense of timing with it. No filter of course, so often get themselves in trouble with that whirlwind of a mouth.

Scorpio mercury. They kinda have a talent for talking shit in the most cutting way. It’s like a perfect combo of clairvoyance and knowing where to strike with that deadly sting using words. Sometimes don’t recognize when they’ve overdone it tho so they can come across as edgy.

Virgo mercury. Meticulous mercury, very observant. They talk even faster than Gemini mercuries but they actually manage to get their point across. Can be blunt but typically when it’s much needed. There’s a reason why this is ultimately the best mercury placement.

Capricorn mercury. Dry as fuck. Also I’ve noticed they like to complain a lot but not on abstract themes. More like being precise about why this thing sucks. Can be very adamant and stubborn with their opinions. Can sound so confident you forget to analyze what they are saying.

Pisces mercury. So whimsical and romantic but at what cost. Literally can never tell what they are trying to convey, pretty sure they have no idea too. Get carried away with their associations and metaphors that make sense only to them. If they’re nerdy it’s even worse.

Cancer mercury. Awkward with words but in a cute way. Hate to be misconstrued and taken out of context. Therefore tend to over-explain themselves and things in general but in a way that makes the point slip away further. Also very sentimental.

Aquarius mercury. Usually like to argue on social justice issues… with people who are removed from politics as much as possible. Don't care to be understood by people they consider irrelevant to them. It's like the fewer people actually do get them the better they feel but that’s just my theory. Also artistic.

Libra mercury. More concise than Pisces but ur still kinda left with a «what...» feeling. Also poetic and romantic. They usually have 1 or 2 topics they can talk about hours on end but can lose interest once the convo shifts onto something else. Like to giggle a lot too.

Leo mercury. I call this one bimbo mercury in the best way possible. Very entertaining and charismatic, but don’t give much thought to what they’re saying. Like to be the authority in every convo and if they are not they just kinda… leave. Loud (if they don't have a water sun).

Taurus mercury. Time ceases to exist, nature slows its rhythm. Some might call it relaxing I call it torture. If surrounded by their friends they tend to speed up and show more of a goofy side. Nice voices, yes yes.

Just some thoughts about chapter 236 after reading 261. I’ve talked about it elsewhere but I’m going to post it here too.

The whole North South thing has been a huge thing to unpick. As had been the human and jujutsu pervert thing.

But, after 261, it seems to be about reconciliation - between Gojo’s Human side and his Monster side. Perhaps the ongoing theme for Gojo since his enlightenment - is he Gojo Satoru who is Strong or does being Strong define him as Gojo Satoru?

From that premise, that’s why he talked about himself and emotion with Geto - elaborating on “satisfaction” etc. Nobody else was there when they did. It could be a representation of who is within the line Gojo drew. Others are flowers who couldn’t understand him / he didn’t wish to understand him. (I believe Gojo too didn’t want to be saved but lived since birth as if he were to be the saviour due to six eyes + limitless ). Even if at some point he felt like a creature, he has always only been Geto who he wanted to stand beside him as his best friend. He caught up to him, right? They face in the same direction.

The benches is something to take note of too imho: the symbolism of Nanami & Haibara being on the other side of the benches perhaps is meant to represent the Monster Gojo (ie Strongest Gojo Satoru).

So Nanami and Haibara highlight his perverse, jujutsu mad side. They reflect how he could be viewed, or even what he could’ve become. It’s not nice to hear at all. He worked hard not to be that, hence, I think, his facial expression there. But, Gojo accepts it as a part of who he is too. Geto roasts him and echoes that based on what he admitted - practically having fun fighting the death?? Oh dear 😅 But, it shows how Gojo in death reconciled between his two halves. With the aid of his friends.

The North South thing after 261 seems to be thematically similar - going back to being more Human. Gojo’s monstrous side had fun and he has relinquished the Title of being the strongest. So his choice was to go South because that’s where happiness is for him. He understood that love changed him and that it had allowed him to not be lonely as the strongest in the end, having people around him, having purpose, etc. which he wanted to convey to Sukuna. He could have been a monster / calamity Sukuna but thankfully he knew love and could connect with those “beneath his feet” (this was in direct contrast to Hajime’s battle / convo with Sukuna).

It makes me sad to think that it is possible that this interpretation doesn’t allow for a Shinto-like afterlife and they all have to get onto the plane to reincarnate.

Or. It was really a death fantasy after all... aligned with Bardo Thodol...

…and all we can take comfort in is that Gojo was at peace?

Ah, I’m going to make myself depressed thinking about it 😭 we probably won’t get answers from Gege anytime soon so I’ll stubbornly choose to believe there is a Shinto-like afterlife and if they want to reincarnate they can go meet Emma-O to discuss things - like... you know, reincarnating together 😉

i saw this take of yours and i genuinely felt like finally someone who'd ask real question or wonder the same way Shippers actually should.

The way no one asks why was jm playing WHO to jk in AYS after it's pretty much done. and if not for the show maybe jk wouldn't even have listened to it before it's release?? I'm still not over the "If it's not for the show we wouldn't be meeting" and "When i was free i didn't called you (look for u or wtv translation shippers wanna use) and when you were free you didn't look for me" because that does tell something. U know there were time where jkk had time off together yet they didn't look for e/o for example when jm and hobi went to jin to meet him at his base the same time jk had his day off and he was probably out with tae for bowling (There were pic circulating of TK on the same day jihope went to jin so ppl assumed it's most probably from same day and a day before jk also said he's having a day off and jm also was live and said he's going to jin with hobi) So when they said that they didn't look for eachother when they were free this example does prove it atleast for ME. I'm not saying ppl should be up e/o's business 24/7 but there are things that ppl should know about e/o if you're going to consider them couple. forget about couples bro jungkook didn't even bother going to any of jm's MV set or music show. what's disappointing is jm didn't ask any other members to visit him again but did only to jungkook when he stopped by at jm's practice but jk despite being free couldn't do that. idk how after hearing their convo in the car anyone thinks they were still couple at that time.

Imagine one member telling jk he's missing him and jk going to meet him be it from sk or from US doesn't matter (and i know jen was with tae in that Hawaii trip because ppl already had seen them in Feb 2023 at that time so i ain't even making it about TK and Jkk romantically or anything) VS jm telling him to visit him again which is their own comp at hybe but jk didn't. i know it's not my place to feel bad/disappointed on behalf of jm because at the end of the day they're good friends and have Enlisted together but knowing how much these little things mean to jm idk if he was disappointed or not or maybe he wasn't expecting anything from jk in the first place because jk does help jm in other forms like jm asked jk to do the bg vocals for letter and jk did so Maybe he doens't expect anything else but still knowing how much jm has been there for jk throughout the yrs, was with him before his debut in NYC, said sorry to jk that he couldn't make it to jk's mini concert and all one would expect something from jk but alas. Anyways, in all my yrs of being in jkk spaces i never thought of them as they're dating but i always thought they were the closest of all members but what happened since last year idk if i consider them even that. They're good friends who share some common interests and who care/love eachother like other members do.

1 I’m new to BTS.

And 2 it’s very much not that serious to me. Like I have my own theory abt their relationship (imo they dated or hooked up or whtv, either way they were romantically involved a long time ago though, they haven’t been in a looooong while). But that theory takes up less than 0.00001% of my brain. I don’t really think abt it, I don’t really talk abt it much, it doesn’t hold any meaning in my life bc I know these are real people with complicated lives that I know virtually nothing about.

What I do know if that shippers take it way too far and it leaves me - a grown woman who’s a member of LGBTQ community living in a homophobic country - very uncomfortable. They’re invasive, delusional, take an extremely voyeuristic approach to others personal lives and don’t take “no” or “I don’t want to discuss it” for an answer. That they do t accept any new information that doesn’t fit their narrative. They don’t leave just at “I think they’re together” but go on a crusade to prove it (as if they could).

Ig I just feel like I don’t belong in any of these ARMY spaces bc I’m not a shipper but I’m also not completely against even jokingly insinuating abt them dating anyone and I’m also never going to say that they’re perfect and above criticism but I also love them dearly. La'an & Kirk: A Theory

I have a theory about La'an and Kirk!

La'an and Kirk actually first met in their first alternate timeline. In the first season finale, 1x10, "Quality of Mercy," this timeline was created after Pike prevented the death of some Starfleet cadets. La'an transferred from the Operations division to the Command division. She reached the rank of Commander and was assigned to the… wait for it! USS Farragut under, oh yes, the command of Captain James T. Kirk.

So, that is Timeline Number One.

Then in season 02, 2x03, "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow," La'an is bum-rushed by a man in a business suit who hands her a device and tells her to save the bridge. She goes to the bridge where the captain is James T. Kirk, but it's not her bridge (obviously, no Pike), and he's not the captain of her Enterprise in her universe (again, duh, no Pike). We are now in another alternate timeline. The Vulcans and Romulans and Klingons and everyone hates each other and cats and dogs are all fighting! It's war! War! War!

So, this is Timeline Number Two.

Jim reaches for the device in La'an's hand and activates it and they are transported to Earth 21st century. They steal clothing, play chess, hang out in a hotel room, engage in car chases, visit a new, old friend, save the future, and develop the feels for one another, have a kissy-face, and then Kirk dies before La'an does what she has to do (i.e., letting her evil future ancestor live), and she gets transported back to her timeline. La'an sends a subspace call to Kirk to say 'Hey!' -- as they had never spoken or met prior -- but then is visited by a temporal bigwig who tells her no telling anyone, that's a big no-no!

That be Timeline Number Three.

In the current timeline in which La'an normally occupies, Lieutenant James T. Kirk comes on over to the Enterprise and he and La'an officially meet. Subspace harmonies happen and truths do be spilled in song, so La'an decides to break the big timey-wimey no-no to Kirk before a 17th sea shanty can do the deed. He too feels the connection, but alas, his on again/off again girlfriend is on because she's preggers. So, welps!

And this, folks, is Timeline Number Four.

So, my theory!

Kirk and La'an have now been thrown together in not one, not two, not three, but FOUR different alternate timelines. That's a lot of timelines for two people to be linked together. Now, admittedly, the two in "TATAT" are tied together, but they are still two separate timelines. The kicker is the one from "Quality of Mercy." Another one? Really?! So, yeah. And, it has been pointed out, if you take a gander at her uniform, it looks as if she is not only in command but as if she is his First Officer, his Number One! Uh, yeah.

However, before we dive into that, let's look deeper at the conversation between the real timeline Kirk and La'an which I feel has been misrepresented overall from what I've read. The overall take I've seen is that Kirk and La'an are dunzos because of that convo, and I dunno, I just didn't even remotely get that. Kirk made things very clear, and based on what we know about life in this era, other things can be pretty clearly inferred, and based on what we know from The Wrath of Khan we know other things.

So, let's do some numbering.

Life is complicated.

In other words, the fact that he has a girlfriend who is pregnant is "complicated," not good or happy, but rather "complicated."

She is his "sometimes" girlfriend.

That in and of itself is NEVER how one should describe their significant other. Like EVA!

Carol is intensely dedicated to her job on Starfleet One.

He tends to not stay in one place for long which is a growing problem since Carol is pregnant.

We are putting these two together because Carol is intensely dedicated to her job ON STARFLEET ONE, while Jim tends to NOT STAY IN ONE PLACE LONG. Ie., yeah, it's complicated. This is basically a bright, neon glaring sign that this is a relationship that is not for long. Like at all. (Even if we didn't already know that.)

So, OK, in this era, it's not really easy to get pregnant what with modern technology and medicine, right?

Carol is his "sometimes" girlfriend who ain't leaving Starfleet One, while her "sometimes" boyfriend goes flying all over the place, and she just happens to get preggers? Hmm, OK, then. We know from "The Wrath of Khan" that when David shows up and finds out about Kirk, Kirk, of course already knows, and tells Carol, "I stayed away like YOU wanted me to." Mmhmm!

So, with all that said, I'm speculating that Carol either (a) got herself pregnant to make Kirk stay on Starfleet One or (b) was so busy science'ing up she got preggers. Either way, being pregnant it came down to he needed to make a choice choose her and his kid, or her career and the stars. And Kirk chose his career and the stars. And that is what is going to come out… and La'an will be there through the fall-out because there likely will be fall-out from like Sam, and Kirk just feeling guilty and all that.

But what about the timelines? Well, so my theory is that Kirk and La'an have a relationship, happiness, blah blah blah, while he's on the Farragut, she's on Enterprise, etc., and then as we get near the end of SNW's run, some big choice has to happen. In order to save lives or some such, La'an makes a sacrifice, saving peeps, but in the process, everyone in the current timeline forgets her. Thus, no mention of La'an when they meet Khan, no mention of her and Kirk, or basically just her at all in TOS.

But for her sacrifice, she gets:

TADA!! Timeline Number Five….

In this one, she and Kirk live happily ever after. And her family didn't die at the hands of the Gorn. So on and so forth.

Or maybe this is all just wishful thinking, hahahahaha!

BASICALLY this revolves around

When El was trying to become Jane, she used Angela as her inspiration.

The real Jane Ives (or at least the girl Terry thought was hers who she flashed back to- I believe that this IS Jane bc how else did Terry find her and because El's birth memory does not match Terry's) is blonde and wore normie clothes. While it is possible she was moved to the Gown Facility, likely, in fact, based on a convo in NINA, her hair color would not change all the way to dark brown in the consecutive four years necessary to become Killer Ellie, aka the El we see at the very END of NINA who was the HNL Murderer. Since Jane is not Killer Ellie, she can't be El since El's initial flashback is of Killer Ellie pre-NINA

As a blonde (via flashback), Jane Ives is likely El's "opposite" like when Will's eyes changed to symbolize his new personality, or the Blonde Mother pattern, and any number of inter-timeline hair/eyes clues of that nature. Angela fits the bill as an opposite since she is popular and a bully.

Angela likely developed her bullying patterns because of trauma, and I realized that it lines up with the lab, ie: wanting to be the teacher's favorite, so much so that she is paralleled to 002

As @/henrysglock so kindly pointed out to me, Angela's outfit is the inverse of El's. She wears a ring on the opposite finger, a watch not a hairband, same hairstyle as El but with a high pony, etc.

Angela is weirdly obsessed with Hopper. The writers chose for El's school project to be about Hopper, and for Angela to pick on her for this project not once but twice, AND for Angela to bring up Hopper again at the Rink-O-Mania. She then targets El's lack of this supportive father- and I believe this is because whoever adopted Angela isn't like him, or because they are and she feels insecure in maintaining her situation thereof. Either way, growing up with a Brenner and losing Kali make her fixate on someone like Hopper, who El specifically says protected her, a fact Angela points out at the rink.

Angela and Troy, are like, the only bullies who don't get backstory. HOWEVER, Troy got a scene with his mother in ST1, which is already more exposition than Angela, plus if he's actually on the basketball team, then he might get screentime next szn. If Angela is accrual the outlier here, what was the reason? /rhetorical

The fuckin angst potential. I'm biased as fuck and I admit it. Not only that but the narrative potential. The whole point of timeline theory within a show who's meta is about the cycle of abuse and bigotry? The whole Multi Henry thing is meant to show how variables can affect outcome- ie: some Henrys become Vecna. SOME older brothers become like their fathers and others don't. This carries over to SOME Ellies kill more than others (including our lovely leading lady, whose arc about accepting her supposed monstrosity as a part of a whole is looking suspiciously complete) and SOME Ellies become Angelas.

ANGEL. HER NAME HAS FUCKIN ANGEL IN IT. As we know, as "Angel" is the person whom the memory of brings a Curse victim back to reality via the victim's will to live. Victor's Angels are his family members, and Max's are- get this, Lucas and El and her wider friend group. Not only this, but Max sang Madonna's "Angel" in El's bedroom in ST3. I'm not sure what the implication quite is here, if it's more than "She's an alternate timeline version of a girl who is somebody's angel", but I think it had to mean SOMETHING.

Glass Divine! I think this was my favorite chapter so far. I love angst so much. The second Wilbur got that vision I just started going crazy. Right off the bat, I got the suspicion that Wilbur's vision is a self fulfilling prophecy. The only reason he tried to escape was because he got that vision, which causes the vision in the first place. Also worth noting that Wilbur is so quick in his thought process. There is no doubt in his mind that Clara wants him to escape. Having him immediately go "I understand Clara" was clever, because it really conveyed how quick he was to come to that conclusion.

I'm suspicious that the vision might not actually be from Clara, and that it might just be a nightmare, based off that convo with Tommy about nightmares. He brushes off Tommy's question about how he tells the visions from the nightmares, which means that we the reader don't get that info either. So I think Clara actually can't reach him, and he's so desperate for her that he takes his own nightmares as visions.

However, if that theory is wrong/Wilbur is right, there's a lot of interesting implications. Clara really can reach that far into Kristin's domain. That makes me wonder what the dynamic between the two goddesses is. How territorial are they? Are they at odds just because their followers are?

Similarly to the whole self fulfilling prophecy thing, there's a line from Tommy that really interests me. He goes "I'm not playing your stupid game" when Wilbur starts pestering him. Then, he's actually honest to Wilbur. Doing so kind of destroyed Wilbur's plans of bothering him and bothering him - by unexpectedly giving Wilbur what Wilbur wanted on the surface, he was refusing to play Wilbur's game, the game being their sarcastic back and forth. So he was telling the truth when he said that.

Then obviously, there's the escape attempt. I won't go super in depth about it since I have limited time, and other analyzers could probably delve into it better than I could. Here's my thoughts:

Wilbur is going to regret that. I know that's pretty obvious, but I think it will be something that haunts him. Something that makes it hard for him to connect to Tommy, because even when Tommy is ready to forgive him (if Tommy is ever ready) or at least when Tommy still wants to be friends, Wilbur is going to feel immense guilt that impedes that friendship. It's going to stick with him. It's also definitely going to have some immediate consequences. I'm expecting things to get worse for Wilbur. The only question is how much worse?

And poor Tommy. He must be going through so much right now. He's going to have issues over this.

is it really seeing the future if you're the reason that future happens? if it's your choices that lead to that result in the end? would it have still happened if he hadn't seen the vision? all fun questions for a possible self-fulfilling prophecy indeed

I'll clarify right now, wilbur can clearly differentiate between a normal dream and a vision. I mentioned it briefly in the first chapter, but he's always extra hazy after waking up from a vision. also, he just has a sense for it. so no he wasn't mistaking a normal dream for a vision. he's been the pythia for 10+ years now, he knows how to tell the difference between them.

yup! tommy wasn't going to play wilbur's games by not giving into the taunts. wilbur was trying to goad him and he refused, and instead just gave wilbur the outright truth.

oh yeah wilbur's gonna feel a lot of guilt about what he did for a long time to come lmao

Sending this to you bc I know you don't 100% believe in canon buddie. I don't really agree when people say that buddie has to happen any minute now. Is it just me or are they not very romantically coded at all? I struggle to find anything between them that isn't platonic. The guardianship thing? To me it seems normal for close bffs to do that. The extremely sexually charged kitchen scene? That was 3 seasons ago and hasn't happened again. Of course we can speculate based on those moments and say they'd be perfect for setting up buddie. But what do we actually have, without speculation? Maybe one or two looks exchanged between them, like during the couch metaphor convo? Also, atp neither of them is even canonically attracted to men. I say all of this as a buddie shipper, I want them to be together and I enjoy the speculations. But then I actually watch a new episode and I don't really see anything in the text that seems to lead up to it. Of course I'm hoping that'll change in future episodes but yeah. Idk, what do you think? Am I being too sober?

hey anon! i’m going to apologise in advance for how longwinded this answer is going to get but i wanna make sure i address all your points!! 

so one thing i went into the fandom believing (and something i still stand by) is that in s2 and 3 there is very little outside of buck and eddie’s dynamic with chris that implies anything romantic between them. i think the same can be argued in part for s4 and 5 (though i do believe something has shifted but i’ll get to that later!). and i know chris is so intrinsically tied to their dynamic it’s like, well what’s the point of removing him from the equation? but the thing is, for me, it’s about needing to see romantic attraction.

like, yes they’re a family, yes buck acts as a co-parent to chris, yes they’re partners and confidants and everything in between and yes they love each other. all of that is canon and none of it is extrapolation on our part. but all of it exists in this murky realm of plausible deniability. it could be romantic but it could also conveniently just be a very strong platonic bond if the show chooses to keep it that way. it’s Schrodinger's love story.

because, as we’ve all discussed before, the show very pointedly doesn’t define their relationship. except for the "you’re badass under pressure, brother” and the “you said it, brother” comments in s2 and buck calling eddie his best friend in 3x03, it’s never said out loud what they are to each other - particularly in these later seasons when their bond has only gotten stronger. and i think that’s absolutely deliberate. 

so if i were to describe my own views on everything right now i would say i’m cautiously optimistic. 

i believe there are writers and directors on the show who would make buddie canon in a heartbeat if given the green light, i believe the actors would be all for it and i believe the door has been left open for it to happen but i’m also not 100% convinced it will yet 

(especially because this is uncharted territory, like when has a network show Ever let two of their male leads fall in love and be together based on what was originally a fan theory????).

because as much as there are these underlying metaphors about hearts and the universe that we’re picking up on (and again, i believe they’re on purpose), i wouldn’t think the general audience is picking up on that. likewise, even though the fandom believes something like the eddieana breakup is queer coded (and i agree!!!) idk to what extent the general audience would make that leap??? like you said, as far as canon is concerned right now nothing has been confirmed to say either of them are attracted to men. my mom watches this show and i Know if buck and eddie suddenly got together in the morning she would be extremely confused. 

at this point what it would take to convince me is very simple. all i need is one close up shot on one of their faces while they look at the other person with the right music in the background and the right look on their face and i’m sold. that’s it. that’s all they’d have to do. they’ve already laid the groundwork. just give me one five second scene that would allude to something more as far as their feelings for each other are concerned

those are the scenes i can’t explain. those are the scenes that feel romantically coded for me. those are the scenes that make me think there’s a chance at something. and like i mentioned earlier, i do believe something has shifted since the end of s4. so whether that means the writers have fully committed to bringing their relationship to fruition remains to be seen but they’ve definitely upped the ante.

i guess ultimately, to answer your question, i don’t think there’s anything wrong with reserving judgement right now or not being 100% convinced. i know sometimes there can be assumptions about why people feel like that but i think that can sort of feel a bit dismissive??? like, i don’t think the show is homophobic, i don’t think the show is queerbaiting, i’m absolutely nOT an ex-destiel shipper who believes this is a supernatural do-over (i have blessedly never seen a single ep of that show). i’m just waiting for a very clear and explicit indication that buck and/or eddie like each other and intend to do something about it.

i think what it comes down to is if that negatively impacts your view of the show?? like will i be disappointed if buddie doesn’t happen? of course. but will it ruin the show for me? absolutely not. i love speculating, i love reading theories, i love feeling unhinged about all the metaphors surrounding their relationship, i love every teeny tiny morsel of a scene we get between them and 100% believe they are the kind of person each other deserve at this point. but also that’s enough for me??? hell, it’s more than some canon ships have given me before lmao. and i feel like even if they don’t end up together, i still trust the writers to give them an ending that’s satisfying or, at the very least, is open to interpretation, y’know????

Hi! First of all, I wanted to say I really enjoy your analysis of Berserk. Secondly, I wanted to ask, do you engage at all with the Berserk fandom outside of Tumblr? Personally I have found that I can only stomach discussions about Berserk on Tumblr or with friends irl. The takes and humor (constant jokes about SA, specifically at the expense of victims) on Reddit and Discord, for instance, are so rancid. Is SK.net any better, or is it more or less the same as the subreddits? In the beginning I mostly interacted with people here on tumblr. Then the pornban happened and the fandom was really quiet for a while. Nowadays I'm very active on twitter, a rather cozy and welcoming community (also lgbta friendly, from what ive seen) actually formed around my account @/HandOfSchnoz over time. I don't like those SA or Donovan jokes either, majority of them happen at the expense of victims tbh. AFAIK r/Berserk Reddit and official r/Berserk Discord are partially moderated by members of SK.net. You just gotta look at what kind of atmosphere is being accepted/nurtured there and snoop around a little to figure out why I am not active on any of these communities. I was "dogpiled" once by their admins (read: members of SK.net) for doing a mistake on reddit, and they made fun of a particular article too (I wrote it in 2019 and the chapters to come actually solidified it even more). I am not the only one this has happened to, either. These communities are too busy making fun of any new theories and enjoy making fun of the people who come up with them. There is an extreme bias because of this. Also shows how little they actually understand of Miura's work. I entered the fandom in 2017 and I feel like I understood more in this brief time than these communities as collective did in the +10 years they existed.

Nuanced discussion may actually get you in trouble on SK.net. Then again A) I don't have heard good things from it based on hearsay and B) members of their community haven't treated me kindly either, so I am biased. Before I do a recommendation, you should go see for yourself (but brace yourself at the same time, since there is usually a true story to rumors)

There might be other Discord communities that seem to be good, such as the Berserk n Chill server. I only was briefly active on it, but I remember reading some good convos on there. If you're having problems connecting with the right fans, throw yourself out there and make your own community!

One of the new books about Obi-Wan's late teens/early adulthood, "Padawan" has a section that includes a convo with a new friend "Casul." Basically the conversation boils down to a discussion regarding sexuality and sexual intimacy. Obi-Wan is uncertain if he wants to try either or not, or if he ever wants too. He doesn't seem to care about gender, because Siri (one of his childhood best friends, original love interest before Satine was created). Casul says he likes sex and romance, and he says that if Obi-Wan ever wants to try, Casul is willing. Obi-Wan agrees, but the conversation doesn't go much further, and the book continues.

So... We get canon queer Obi-Wan in Disney's Star Wars, which he was already coded as queer long before this. We don't have an actual label for him so I'm just saying queer and somewhere on the ace spectrum.

Anyways, my interpretation of this is actually based on your descriptions how you view sex and my own. In my version, Obi-Wan sometimes has sex and does enjoy it, because it's something his partner enjoys and wants. He doesn't seek it out. I would argue that he has strong romantic attraction, and expresses it with sweeping gestures and also little gifts and everything in between.

Honestly, there are three widely accepted versions of Obi-Wan and his sexuality, in my opinion.

1. Ace and sex repulsed or limited sexual desire until a bond is formed, and strong romantic attraction.

2. Manwhore, which seems to be a fan favorite. Sleeps and flirts with everyone, regardless of gender, as long as they're willing and consenting, probably has at least one kid running around somewhere (cough Korkie) and is called "The Negotiator" because the Council didn't want to call him "The Flirt." 1000% has banged Satine and Cody and probably has a relationship with one or the other or both during the Clone Wars.

3. Has only ever slept with Satine and ehh, boring. Not a fan of this theory, because it implies that neither tried to move on (which I mean, they didn't), but that also implies that life wasn't lived. Idk how, after reading this verse ANYONE could even think this is about anyone else but Levi and Mikasa. " She said She gave all her love to me' idk about y'all but this gives me hints of some promises, it's such a rivamika thing to do in my opinion.

Okay so idk if I talked about this enough before so I'll quickly touch on the fact that Levi "doesn't know " why Mikasa is SO attached to Eren is because he is jealous. 😒😒 Yeah okay y'all may have won this but even in my anti rivamika Goggles I can see his surpassed jealousy. THINK about it ? Levi is always on the frame when Mikasa is concerned for Eren and he always somehow breaks their convos it's a low-key thing Levi does but the tension is there. It's like when a newborn child is born and the mother gives all her time to the child because it's her child and the father often gets jealous because of it. No matter how you think about it Levi never had someone care for him in such way, even if it ain't romantic, it's jealosuy in some way or another. From his dead mother to uncle Kenny who left him, to countless deaths of his friends and comrades he had to bare it alone and carry it on his shoulder for so long. He is the definition of being lonely at the top, because of his strength. But not with Mikasa, the care she shows for Eren is unlike any other characters care in the series, in my unbiased opinion ( for the 50th time) Levi wants to be treated the same way. And he knows that Eren doesn't appreciate mikasa nearly enough. And no one better then Levi knowns what it's like to miss love from your life.

And so I have to say that he is missing her although he has been living with Mikasa ( and others ) for so long. Let's not forget that Levi is the most emotional character in the anime so obviously if from his POV he said he was crying missing his lover - being loved by Mikasa and added "I don't have the power on my side forever" he knows his weakness and it makes complete sense lmao. Alluding to "humanity's strongest" everyone thinks you're always strong but the fact Levi is actually emotional which is why he doesn't have the "power on his side forever".

"Oh where is my lover" again I have been saying this man is the most patient thing when it comes to mikasa and this is what I mean.

"I'm standing alone (....) Calling out you're name" so this is me referring to my previous post where I mentioned the unnatural amount of time Levi called mikasa's name through out the whole manga. It's sad but Levi has always been alone hasn't he? Even when he had Erwin and hanji and his old squad he was always a lone man due to his powers, I could see the barrier that his power puts between him and everyone else ( apart from Mikasa ofc). But it's strange because y'all remember Mike ? He was thought to be only 2nd best to Levi and yet he was still not nearly there. Interesting.

This could be a example of what I mean I say he is a lone man. After all his future wife and soulmate is literally busy babying another man right Infront of him ( no wonder he looks pissed of all the time lmao 💀 ).

Finally "calling out your name"

That was 90% of Levi's lines in the recent chapters lmao. I interpret this as Levi knowing this is the conclusion to Eren and mikasa's story and he knows he is the one who can get Mikasa back to reality. He finally called out her name, it's not even a freaking joke, he was literally calling her name and saying her name to himself ughh. Anyway like I said it's like he has accepted a part of him that he kept hidden for a while and now something new has awakened.

IN CONCLUSION, rivamika shippers kinda won this battle 🙄💔 and but tbh as an anti I have to admit that everybody is so wrong if they think this song is about anyone else but Levi and Mikasa 🤡🤡. It's clearly from perspective of Levi from the future who is remembering the past and his feelings for mikasa during it.

For the people who wanted my ages-long 3adv character design thoughts because I think about these guys wayyy too much I'll talk about each character individually and then slowly put my comparison/merged thoughts together (I'll put it all under the cut! I warn you, it's looong)

- For context, I like color theory. I like analyzing colors and their meanings, and I know basic things about contrast and values and hue stuff - that being said... - Graham coloring process my beloathed :,) I love the guy with all my heart but my goodness the colors - I'm constantly changing them because I struggle with the contrast so much - (to the point I actually changed the colors in the current piece I'm working on. The ref is already outdated lmaooooo) - it looks nice but all the colors blend together and it makes me mad lmao wHY ARE ALL HIS COLORS CLOSE TOGETHER- - - ...does anybody else have this problem or am I overreacting - - ...anyways rant over - for the fun stuff I love, shape language! And especially figuring out face shapes. - Graham is very circles. Rounded lad! Shaped like a friend. A lot of his angles I rounded out (including the ones for his eyes which I'll get to later) - but he's also made of rectangles! Especially in his cape, which I feel sorta balances him out with how lanky and top-heavy he is. - Graham has a very limited amount of triangles, to keep his design easier to read, but with the triangles he does have they're put to use! - Case in point: adventuring cap - Which, in addition to being an important part of his character, is symbolic shape-wise! Oops, all triangles! (while the feather is rounded because friend shaped) specifically grounded triangles. - Grounded triangles symbolize being... well, grounded! It's like being a square, having the base rest on the ground, but with the action and adventure of a triangle! - You see where I'm going with this? - It also stands out since it's a cool color among mainly warm colors! The blue helps separate all the warm reds and browns. - Talking about the hat color reminds me about that little convo I had with some friends on how the cape is very deep and saturated while everything else is desaturated (so the cape stands out) - His cap, with how it's tilted, kinda reminds me of like... Cars? And how the air sorta flows over it? - I gave him some more rounded off sorta saggy shoulders, a longer torso, and a bit of a narrower torso width because it makes him feel a slight bit younger.

- Link lonk - I don't have as many thoughts on his design as I would have liked, but he's mostly more of a blank slate sorta character that encompasses most versions of Link? Key points were to include all the iconic parts of his surface-level design (green, hat, blond) and sorta work from there. - I'm a very big fan of 3adv link tho! Has a very nice personality to explore. Protective hero! - Link is heavily triangles. From his hat to his stance, he is very action-oriented and very sharp n pointy. - He is mainly rectangles & triangles! Imbalanced triangles are a bit more top-heavy and often jump headfirst into things (Say a... pit, for example) while balanced triangles are grounded and reasonable. - Link gets both, as a treat. :) - His color palette is very foresty and the dark blue contrasts quite well! - I was actually contemplating making his scarf one of the only main rounded parts of his design because friendship scarf, but I got scared it wouldn't blend well with the rest of the design lol, so it's got more angles like I usually do with folds. - I'm a very big fan of playing around with body types, even if I don't do it often. Link has a more confident stance, with a bit more muscle than the other two - With Link's eyes I'm not actually sure why I chose the semi-cat eyes? Maybe cuz they seem a bit more focused. - I actually did a 3adv drawing before this with the lads as Cookie Run Kingdom designs, and I really liked the idea that Link's hair was herbal leaves, so I kinda incorporated that idea to the shape design with the hair

- Guybrush Wheatstick time - Guy is very rectangles but not super rectangles? I wanted to balance it out with triangles because he's a playful sorta guy. Tried rounding out a lot of his angles but not exactly all of them. - To balance the rectangles and triangles I decided on a compromise: Trapezoids! - His body type is the sorta upsidedown trapezoid/triangle type but under the clothes he has slightly slanted shoulders! His coat makes him look a lot sharper and confident, which I love in character design. - I really like the baggy clothes lmao - I think I made his hair more wavy than he actually is in-game lmaoo - Which fits in with the fact I wanted to continue that sorta playful squiggle motif. He's less serious, but he's angled and square! Also feels more pirate-y - In terms of eyes, I continue the rectangle/trapezoid thing again. These eyes are actually harder to draw traditionally lmaoo but that's cuz they're tilted at a slight angle. Makes it easier to do perspective tho(?) - I like Guy's palette a lot, I think the only thing I struggle with is the hair tie's color because it looks weird to me but it's the same sorta red as the coat lmao? - and the darkness of the belt because I wanted it to contrast the rest of the outfit lol - I just like the fact Guy's ears are wider/placed differently - They all have a different shape that they're based around (Graham is circles, Link is triangles, Guybrush is rectangles) but they share bits of eachothers' shapes to show they're part of a group! - Additionally they share similar colors to show they're part of a group (Reds and blues, buncha blue-eyed bois) - Occasionally I'll go through a crisis of like "damn this character is too similar to this other character's design" and then I realized I was overthinking things and literally nobody is gonna confuse Alexander to Link Anyways that's thoughts! Or at least the ones I think of off the top of my head.

okay but what if you have mars square pluto in your own chart and what if you have a mutable mars that squares everyone’s pluto? i have it with my sister and mars square pluto went completely different than what it’s usually interpreted as. i notice that with really heavy aspects, a LOT of the time the explanations just resort to the most dramatic outcomes. i’ve seen/experienced that with mars square pluto it can mean mutual trauma that you share from your past or it will be something you go through together and due to it being mars and pluto it’s usually sexual, sadly. on another note, i noticed that if you lack mars, pluto, and sometimes 8th house then squares to pluto will just not work out for you simply because it’s too much to handle healthily because of how heavy synastry like that can be.

and for another conversation starter, have you noticed water risings are peak examples of what you see is usually not what you get? I’ve had so many people that were my friend and expected me to be soft, sweet, and unthreatening, only for them to get disappointed with me when my aries mc, heavy aquarius, and saturn in 10th shows up. they get mad at ME when i don’t fit some weird vague ass expectation that’s based purely on an ooga booga small asian girl = pushover sweetheart mindset. and with pisces asc i notice that the flighty “pixie girl” interpretation of them is shattered by the sag mc because they’re so intelligent and philosophical and they ponder over everything. they put so much thought into what they do and why things are the way they are but everyone assumes they’re just soft goofballs. scorpios different but still reminiscent. they’ve got it worse. if you meet them face to face, they’re seen as very serious, controlled, private and obsessive about how they handle everything. it’s almost weird to others that they’re perceived as fun loving and attention grabbing by the public because of how guarded they come off. and then the opposite happens if you see their public persona first. artistic, fun, wild, and showy is juxtaposed by how much thought they put in being perceived that way.

Well hello, lmao. I'll try to answer everything.

1.) Of course you can't avoid Mars Square Pluto when it's in your own chart and it being in your synastry, that's common to happen. It's more forgiving in that case when it happens. However, this is still an extremely difficult placement, and it can of course be dealt with, but I think it takes certain placements like you said to be able to deal with it. If it's in one of your natal charts already, then I'd say you're more likely to get through it. For example, I've had Moon square Venus in my synastry charts before and I have it in my natal chart, and it makes things extremely difficult for those who I have it with. Impossible no, but difficult, yes. So it's definitely something to be aware of because Mars Square Pluto is intense, and individuals who have it tend to be, so you need someone like you said who has their own intense energy in their chart. It also boils down to developed and underdeveloped placements. Developed Mars Square Pluto placements would be better with this synastry aspect, however the undeveloped ones can be straight up dangerous. So I do label it as a red flag, just because it's something to be wary of.

2.) You're good, dw. I'm not offended LMAO. You raise a very good point, Mars Square Pluto can be difficult to avoid when dealing with Mutable Mars. So I should probably bump it down to a less severe degree because of that. (We'll go from three flags to two).

3.) I definitely agree, water risings are very mysterious, especially Scorpio risings. You never know what they're thinking. I kind of think of it as the ocean, like you never know which way the water is gonna flow, and I think that's the same with water risings.

4.) I definitely agree, as a Cancer I'm sick of being called a crybaby LMFAO. I really don't cry that often, if anything I usually tend to avoid crying and I just don't deal with my emotions. Granted, not the best, but still. I def agree about Scorpio risings, I also feel that they're s*xualized a lot.

I felt the same way you did. In the first episodes there were some jiara crumbs and then when sarah and john b came back there was almost nothing (which I believe was made on purpose by the writers only to live us questioning ourselves if kiara and pope would be a thing for sure) and in the end there is definetly more. did you felt like their chemistry was off at some point? do you prefer jiara s1 or s2? and... how do you think they will develop their relationship in s3? because we can agree that jiara is happening at some point righttt. althought I have to say I felt a lot of friends vibes with them most of the time. More with kiara than jj but I guess that makes sense since she just got out of a relationship. And they "fight" so much this season too.

I wouldn’t say I felt like their chem was “off” necessarily this season. I think everybody had a really purposefully different dynamic you know? A lot of Jiara chem in S1 shined in more light hearted scenes, and they had a lot more tense ones this season.

I also wouldn’t say they seriously argued a lot. They’ve kind of always snipped at each other and bickered but when it comes down to it, they get along really well. The closest they came to a real fight was the “why do you always take his side” and I think that’s just because the new relationship dynamics were pushing everyone’s limits in new ways and JJ was feeling a bit insecure and afraid of being left out. (And a little jealous).

I would for sure agree that a lot of their scenes are mostly platonic right now. The only one I’d say was explicitly romantic was the hug on JJ’s end, bits of the surfing tour convo were toeing the line (as was Kie with the hug), and JJ being way too interested in pokie. But I don’t look at this as a bad thing. The framing of some of the mostly platonic scenes was really intentional to make the audience go “hmm”, and we are dealing with: 1. A slow burn best friends to lovers ship, so of course most of their scenes are going to be based on platonic love and more comfortable chemistry at this point. 2. Kie spending most of the season semi involved with Pope, so of course things are a bit different between Jiara. I also think Kie is not really there with a realization of her feelings, but maybe JJ almost dying will make her think on it more.

I don’t have as many theories for S3 Jiara right off the bat like I did with S2 Jiara. I definitely need a rewatch and to let the season settle in my head a little bit (also before I say which season is my fav Jiara, but I’m inclined to say two partly because it’s all so new). And probably some sleep too 😂

The Types as People I Know, Pt. 2: Intuitives

INFJ: Very intelligent, very serious, and very well informed on things he chooses to talk about. Hates everyone (except for like, 4 people). A possible psychopath, but like, in a sweet way. Could almost pass as an INTJ if he didn’t care so darn much.

INFP: Her personality changes based off the weather, the current moon phase, and what kind of fake nails she’s wearing. Very trendy, but a lil bit over the top about flaunting it. Tries too hard, but her friends love her anyways. Could almost pass as an ENFP if she wasn’t so darn awkward.

ENFJ: Simultaneously the yes man and jack of all trades, and is consequently exploited for his skills constantly. A bachelor to the core, but has the best platonic relationships of anyone I know. Could almost pass as a an ENFP if he weren’t so darn organized.

ENFP: The definition of a bad b. Wears tons of anklets and bracelets and looks stellar in them. Frighteningly impulsive (cuts her own bangs at 2 am the week of finals kinda gal). Bi as hecc. Could almost pass as an ENTP if she didn’t cry so darn much.

INTP: Majored in philosophy, resulting in a lot of convos about Ancient Greece. Is my existential crisis buddy (aka unpaid babysitter). Unconventional. Could almost be an INFP if he weren’t so darn logical.

ENTP: The biggest troll I’ve ever met, but she’s cute, so she gets away with it. Best friends with an INFJ who is constantly stressed out but adoring of ENTP‘s impulsive chaos. Flirts with randos when she’s bored, but only to to troll them (committed relationships scare her). Could almost pass as an ESTP, but she argues about philosophy and religion too darn much.

INTJ: Two words: conspiracy theories. If you talk to him for too long, there’s a good chance you’ll end up reluctantly conceding that “Yes, I suppose the earth COULD be flat, theoretically..”. Is super OCD; claims that he’s not and that everyone else is just unbothered by blatant chaos. Could almost be an ISTJ if he actually cared about the rules.

ENTJ: I can literally see my reflection in his shoes because of how well they’re shined. A suit is his go to option (no, I’m not exaggerating for the stereotype lol). Is married to an INFP that he simultaneously loves and cannot understand in the slightest. Could almost be an INTJ if he wasn’t so darn pushy.
