there's something so romantic about me and my human. the fact that i, who is a wild animal was able to trust a human enough like this. the fact that we care so deeply about one another, despite our differences. they love us flaws, and all. they dont mind our urges to hunt, or our hatred for all humans excluding them. they instead, take the time to understand our struggles, unique views and issues. in turn, we try our best to be patient with them, and understand their thoughts and concerns on human matters that mean little to us. im their wild coyote, vicious, and misanthropic. and they're our disturbed human, freaky and different. neither of us fit in normal society, and that's okay. we have one another. man and dog. </3

as a child there's nothing cooler than a kid who gets subjected to evil experiments and gains special abilities. it's even cooler if these abilities also cause unfathomable suffering to use/against others. children love stories like this.

i love being married to a straight guy. this morning we were parallel chilling and i glance at his computer and he's watching a drill fight tournament. as in, guys attaching drills to the same rod and turning them on until one breaks. to find the strongest drill. jose noticed me staring and rolled out of the way so i could see the screen. he knew every drill brand and told me their quality and price. i watched the whole thing without comment. the violence was enchanting. i never would have found this. he's a vector to an entirely alien, often beautiful, world.

"people show their true colours in life threatening situations" no, they show you what they act like when they're mortally terrified, an emotion notorious for literally turning your entire brain off to the point where people who go into those situations as a profession need to be literally trained on how to not have that happen
