If we’re being honest, most of us study our favourite character less like an entomologist studies a bug and more like an astronomer studies a distant star: drawing complicated inferences from extremely limited data, then getting tetchy about it when somebody else draws incompatible but equally well-supported inferences from the same data because it’s the fucking principle of the thing.

I genuinely feel so alienated from the broader trans man/transmasc community for a majority of the reasons especially cuz I'm fat, black, and GNC. I love and respect my peers but I kinda stand out like a sore thumb and so do my drawings with my trans man fursona.

I've even had transphobic rhetoric thrown my way by other trans people including other trans men.

I'm still a guy no matter what and I do love myself a lot and the art I make and I won't ever stop. so uh, thank you for supporting me.

so basically, Sunny is isolated for about the same amount of time, but recovers on his own. except he's not recovering. he tries to learn how to be hopeful, but he's still very overwhelmed with guilt over mari's death, so he starts associating mari's "perfectness" (like talent) with hope, since mari was the golden child, a harbinger of it. so basically everyone talented like her should be praised, while he is worthless scum of the earth for killing her.

so he starts blowing shit up to create a message abt hope n stuff

(on the other side of the coin, where nagito's hiding away in a dream world forever)
