Tasked with setting her on the right path towards good, but to make things more complicated, the family's live-in hire, Alastor, is actually a demon that's been trying to tempt Charlie's dad to the opposite side! So how can this unlikely pair keep their respective truths hidden when mysteries start to unfold, how do they play house while also playing tug-of-war for Heaven & Hell, and just HOW did they get in this situation in the first place? Well, one thing's for certain, family dinners will never be boring as feelings unravel and everything grand is yet to be revealed. So tune in~!

Because, let me tell you, the ride I've prepared is so convoluted, I wish I charge people for it, but it's FREE! Unfortunately, all updates usually depend on my schedule and plans for plot may always change. But this semi-serious story of mine follows a loose "artfic" format anyway. random Lightning Thief Musical things i like to talk about a lot:

The instrumentals for Tree On The Hill (Thalia's song) are extremely similar to Green Day's Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life).

Percy's line in The Campfire Song of joking that if he sang it'd "probably cause an avalanche" is a reference to a line in The Last Olympian, when Nico tells Percy they need music to open the path to the Underworld and Percy makes the same comment.

The nickname affectionately given to Kristin Stokes' Annabeth is "Poodlebeth" because of the way she curled her hair for the shows and i think that's fun and cute and the fandom never references it ever which is sad.

When i first listened to the album before I saw the show I thought My Grand Plan took place during the Zoo Truck Scene and not Medusa's Garden and i still think about that a lot and want to make an animatic about it.

I saw the show live twice and one of the times during Put You In Your Place when Annabeth and Clarisse have their little face-off, Clarisse just leaned forward all the way and gave Annabeth a little kiss on the lips before continuing with the rest of the song.

This video got me thinking of the main Robin(s) and do they fit so fucking perfectly or not??? I mean I like the though of them being in order with "The first Alice" and "The first Robin" but reorganizing is fun too.

For "The Ace of Hearts" my mind goes Damian and Danny (DPxDC) but only bcs they're twins and Danny Fenton is Damian's most popular twin trope.

OHH SLEEPY HI 🥹🥹 thank you for your interest in my OCs oml....... I'm still building up on their lore and some points are definitely concrete, tho the problem is that the OC animatics where I plan on gradually revealing everything are literally taking me forever LMAO so I've actually been dying to talk about them more so thank you 😭

The two pieces are of Grand Duchess Ruethana and Archmage Isfrid back when they were children, before their respective arrivals at the Duchy of Ysbrand! Or rather, more specifically, the exact moments when they have been invited there.

"Ruethana" was the first to be invited. Initially a commoner, her hometown was warm and very community-centred, mostly composed of families of farmers and hunters. Unfortunately, they were not exactly well-off and were increasingly being affected by the growing number of demonic beast outbreaks in their area, but one day, a mysterious noble mage from the west came and offered a deal to help with the village's struggles. Thus, "Ruethana" was picked and partook in a certain experiment, and with its success, the mage took her in after giving her a new name—one "worthier" of stepping foot into the noble estate of Ysbrand.

A little later down the line from this, a young orphan's deceased mother leaves her with nothing but an ornate pocket watch as a keepsake. Within it contains an old marriage portrait, which the girl deduces is her wealthy birth father—someone whom her mother had fled for unknown reasons.

Setting out to find her birth father, she hopes that their blood relation will (at the very least) result in her being provided for. The journey is long, however, and eventually she starts losing hope—until a certain someone comes across her path, piqued by her very familiar red hair.

The title of "My God, my Saviour" was to reflect the sentiments that both a young Isfrid and Ruethana felt during the moment they were "saved". Of course, the nature of their respective gods and saviours is vastly different between the two of them:

Isfrid regards her saviour as her God, someone who appeared exactly at the right time and just so happened to find her at her worst. Like an animal dying of thirst, she latched onto the first drop of rain that managed to reach her and took from it an oasis.

Ruethana regards her saviour as God. Someone who is all-powerful and amazing, and whom she is indebted to and must repay—someone larger-than-life who she loves and respects because how else is she supposed to feel?

Pure-hearted but intense devotion VS Blind devotion and faith...

There's a lot more, but I'll leave it here with this frame of the animatic 🙇‍♀️

Ultimately, this is a story that happened largely because of love, obsession, and devotion........ my blorbos make me ill I love them. Thank u for showing interest in them and giving me this opportunity to yap auahdhueuauu 🥹

At the beginning i was like "bro! Is this part of - what was that fic called? - our lasting life?" From just seeing F!Leo get called "Lee" and i was thinking "WAIT HE'S ALIVE?!" BUT NOPE!! MOFO IT'S A DIFFERENT FIC - if i can call it that - AND WHAT HAPPENED?!

Like I swear to god everytime you drop some random snippet from a new possible fic idea my brain turn to this:

Then i find it hard to focus on the snippet because: 1 AM HELLA EXCITED AND CAN'T STOP JUMPING AND SMILING AND GIGGLING AND GASPING AND SWEARING!!! 2?! Am still trying to think is it related to another fic you have or is it new? And trying to understand how it goes or what could have possibly happened and where are they?!

And at the beginning i thought "wait, is this the possible beginning of the fic 'our lasting life' " (don't hate me if i forgot the name 😅) did little blue fought kraang then got pulled into the portal which ended him in the bad timeline future?!

But no! It turned out Lee came back home! So... What happened? Why is leo scared? WHERE IS THE FAMILY?! - And after reading the tags - HOW LONG HAD HE BEEN IN THE PD?!

Seeing Lee going sensitive as if he have a time bomb just to make sure blue is okay is just wholesome and comfort me about this whole angst snippet (I BLAME YOU FOR THIS 🫵🫵🫵/j/lh) and he even so considered he even back away and give him his back to take his time and am like 🥹🥹🥹

But it broke me again how little leo is crying. Tho understandable, baby blue spent time in PD probably longer he needs help, therapy and comfort!!✨✨

And yes! Little Leo, or Little Blue, was trapped in the prison dimension. Don’t ask how, even I am not sure haha! Luckily he got out with most of his mind intact, but pretty damaged so it’s not much consolation…

But I can assure, Lee, or F!Leo, travelled from the future to get Little Blue out of the prison dimension. Well, that wasn’t exactly the initial plan, but became the plan.

I was going to add in the part of Little Blue’s thoughts moments before his rescue but I was tired, and now that part is long forgotten in my mind. :) but I believe it was going to a grand climax-like thought process for Little Blue such as:

Is it… It’s not moving. It’s not moving…! Is it finally over…? Did I win…? No, that’s not right. It’s playing with me again, I can’t fall for it.

Though, perhaps it’s a good thing I didn’t write that part because I don’t like writing the turtles in first person pov. :D

'Eternal Winter' Animatic (Version 1)

(Practice 1: Developing Ideas)

This is the first of my five animatics, based on the prompt 'Eternal Winter'. This short depicts the transition of autumn to winter, personifying a large winter cloud as a giant spectre figure that shrouds the land in snow, icy winds and silver skies.

Initially, I had planned for the ominous winter cloud to take the form of a gentle giant: an elderly, quiet figure slowly traversing across the land, leaving icy footprints in his path, with either a cloak or cape that would act as the winter cloud itself. For a moment, I even considered a more humorous approach to have an average-size old man operating the cloud as if it were a machine on top. But for this version, I felt having a cloaked spectre would be a fitting representation for the more daunting vibes that winter brings, compared to other seasons of the year.

If I were to select this animatic to turn into a finished animation, my main goal with the visuals be to practice conveying a grand sense of scale and mystery, as the winter spectre takes over without initially revealing himself.

The idea for this version of the animatic was partially inspired by the Firebird segment in Fantasia 2000, depicting two personified forces of nature with one representing nature and its beauty, the other shrouding itself in fire and destruction.

Throughout the short, both forces of nature spread their wings, so to speak, to cover the land in either lush vistas of the forest with the Spring Sprite, or show the Firebird burn the forest (along with the Spring Sprite) to the ground.
