homeschooling in the US needs to be regulated but this is one of those conversations that immediately gets crushed by extremist conservatives and even well-meaning liberals will pipe up to be like "well some homeschooling is good!" when that's absolutely not relevant. regulation will not change anything for the homeschooling families who are serious about their children's education. the people who need to be regulated are the fringe extremists

Honestly one of the main reasons to assume Luigi Mangione was framed by the NYPD is that the UHC shooter not only had no reason to carry around a manifesto, he had no reason to even write a manifesto. He said his piece loud and clear with the bullet casings and the monopoly money. Everyone understood it and the shooter knew that would be the case.

i never realized how hard it is to fundraise but i am trying my absolute best and hardest to get my gofund me out there and keep it that way. i’ve gotten decent donations but i am still so far from the goal😔 please please please donate and help me keep my family safe and warm and taken care of, my parents deserve the absolute world and i am worried sick every single minute of every day that something could happen to them or to our dog and cats.

this is a shot in the dark i feel like since i’m not a big tumblr account and i don’t use it that often anymore, but my family lost their home a couple weeks ago unfortunately due to foreclosure and hard times, with the help of a couple friends we’ve been staying in a cheap hotel but we can’t afford to do that anymore. my parents’ van does not have working heat right now and we have 3 cats and a dog, i have no clue how to help anymore other than trying my absolute hardest to raise money to help them find a place to stay and to call home. i could not live with myself if something happened to any of them, and honestly at this point i’m more worried about my parents and the animals than i am myself. so please if you can donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated, if you can’t donate please please consider sharing the link to my gofund me with as many people as you can. any donates or help or anything would mean the world to me and my family. thank you🫶🏻
