EP7 ; Final Thoughts - Another good episode!! Very balanced which I like, the character centered episodes feel very heavy but I still love them. I'm just happy that we got a little bit of a second to breathe!! I think it’s cool how they’re doing the beef on the side, like so cool! I never thought of that as an option. Because it’s true the neighborhood would probably miss their local sandwich spot! I liked this episode a lot :) Carmy can go fuck this episode, though he’s in the dog house and I hope Syd leaves to teach him a lesson! (& it makes him realize he loves her!!!)

“what the fuck are you talking about?” your head snapped to jisung, your boyfriend of two years.

“i’m just saying that if you two fucked it would cure this whole stupid rivalry thing you have going on!” he threw his hands up in exasperation. you had been in your apartment, cuddled up to each for the last two hours, watching anime, not a word had been said prior to this.

“i still have no idea what you’re talking about.” you separated yourself from him and he pouted.

“jagi, don’t be like that. you and i both know what i’m talking about.” he tried pulling you back into his arms, whining.

he was talking about minho. the guy you didn’t acknowledge when he walked into a room, the guy you avoided with everything in you, the guy who told you that you weren’t good enough for jisung…

looking away, you stayed silent, your mind whirring with the memory of minho warning you to stay away from his best friend.

‘if only you knew…’ you thought as you turned on your side away from him.

“jagi-” jisung tried to get your attention. “i’m not- i don’t-“ he huffed, unable to find the words. “i just want my two favorite people in the world to get along…” he sighed.

you could feel your eyes stinging with tears as you sat up. he would never understand- he couldn’t. minho hated you because he was in love with jisung and you took him away.

you sighed softly and stood up, “i’m gonna go shower.” your words soft as you walked toward the bathroom. jisung stayed quiet, his lip aching between his teeth. he needed to know what was going on.

minho felt like shit. his head pounding as he sat up in his bed.

“why is it so fucking cold?” he groaned. the breeze on his balls made him tense. “what the fuck?” he jumped as he realized he was naked. he never went to bed naked.

he threw his blankets off in a rush threw on boxers. the last thing he remembered from the night before was going out with the others.

“what the fuck did i do?”

he rushed out of his room to look for one of the other members. he could hear talking in the kitchen, making him run over.

“i’m surprised he kissed you.” seungmin said as he opened a water bottle, handing it to felix.

his neck was covered in bite marks and hickies, a blurry memory of blonde hair and freckled skin passed through minho’s mind. fuck.

his eyes widened in realization for the second time.

“good morning, lover boy~” chan seemed to appear out of thin air, his hand ghosting the skin of minho’s lower back.

it was then that minho registered the ache in his hips and back side. what the fuck happened last night?

chan, recognizing the faint panic in minho’s face, entered his line of vision. “lino?… what’s wrong?” his pretty mouth was pulled into a frown of concern. minho shook his head. “hyung… what happened last night?”

chan groaned and rubbed his face. “fuck… fuuuuck!” he walked away from minho. “i’m so fucking sorry, mate. it-it was a mistake, i didn’t realize you were that drunk and-and-“ minho tuned out chan’s rambling as the memories of last night filtered in. the kissing, the biting, the moaning. he remembered it all.

minho’s sigh of relief made chan pause. “oh thank god, i thought i brought someone home.” min groaned and rubbed his face.

“ah, so you remember?” felix’s deep voice cut through the silence.

“yeah” minho laughed out, “and it was all very consensual, hyung.” he turned to chan. “i wanted it, just as bad.” he reassured the aussie.

chan groaned and rushed out leaving behind a laughing seungmin.

“i’m surprised he can even walk, hyung. don’t you remember?” seungmin pretended to moan, “it’s so tight, you can’t even take this c-“

“KIM SEUNGMIN!” chan came barreling back into the room. the room went silent again.

seungmin sprinted out of the kitchen and to his room, chan following closely behind.

PHANTOM LIBERTY ENDING THOUGHTS SO DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS

So I did the new ending out of curiosity and I’m in shambles. So honestly heartbroken.

First V asking Reed if there’s any way they can like not damage the relic, then Johnny asking V not to go with the deal, not wanting to get wiped?? Oh my god. Them talking in the AV, Johnny wanting an apology, sucks that V gives him a fake one.

Johnny says some similar things in the devil ending about hoping they are proud of their choices but that they are choosing wrongly. I think his two endings are kind similar but Johnny and V’s relationship is more fleshed out, because that “could’ve been solid-ass chomps in another life. Wondering why we weren’t in this one” makes me want to die, that line goddamnit dude.

V having to be sedated because she was showing strong emotions, mannn.

Now what absolutely killed me is the “Think we could find it in our hearts to forgive each other?” “Yeah… I can. You?” “I think I can too” fuuuuck man there’s no way,, altered my brain chemistry holy hell.

I love them so much, like I can’t, and the surgery just left her all weak and worse than ever so I just sacrificed Johnny for nothing?? What a tragic ending for them both. Like 2 year coma?? What do you mean???? Everyone changed, everyone had a glow down, I’m bald, they took my makeup and cool eyes?? They sold all of V’s stuff, like everything memorable just gone. The text messages oh my god, how everyone goes from what the hell V?? To genuinely worried. How everyone doesn’t believe you at first when you call? Vick the only one to be truly happy and wanting to see you out of all of them,, man I love River but his call pissed me off, specifically with this V because in the devil ending he just says he can’t talk to you and hangs up and he does the same thing here as well. Like it wasn’t V’s fault dude.. 😭

Can’t even blame Vick for selling out to the corps since my V is a corp that eventually goes back to arasaka. But it sucks, not seeing Misty’s shop made me so sad. The office being so cold and unwelcoming.. And I couldn’t even finish my convo with him! “Costumers, I only have costumers now” wthhhh. “You are all I have left Vick”

The street looked so different and even those dudes that beat V up asked if she was not from around there. Let’s grieve Misty’s gorgeous hair 😔 Wasn’t really expecting to see her but I’m so glad I did! She’s so kind and polite I love her so much! The final cutscene had me crying, the amulet oh my god” don’t go searching for it” 😭😭 V had her fleabag ending with the camera not following her?? Damnn

As a Takemura girlie I hated that I couldn’t even message the dude?? I was dying for a Takemura reference and there was only one in that party thing. When V woke up the only voices that she heard were Vick and Takemura’s (and Jackie’s) my only true friends damn.. And I can’t even call him?? His only appearance is in the voice mails and first let me just say he is the only one that I actually think looks good. I could imagine him with his hair down before but I really liked the hairstyle they gave him! He’s on the run?? Let me hit you up dude please!! (I didn’t quite understand what he meant when he said “you are really strong medicine” but please just let me see him!!)

Just as the devil ending, everyone hates me and nobody wants to see me 😔 Like love it for what it is but what a tragedy

Me: In moments like these I can see that Dex clearly takes after Wallace personality wise because while reading this part I caught myself laughing and saying "Oh this something Dex would say" and then went "Oh wait hold on this is where Dex gets his smart ass tendencies from.😂

"He came back from his tour in Afghanistan and wanted to talk.

"He wanted to reconcile just like that?" Valentin snapped his fingers.

"I…may or may not have pestered him with a couple dozen letters. But I made my feelings toward him clear: I loved him

"...Turns out I'm the ridiculous one," Wallace leaned back against the sofa, "I got so wound up in my feelings for his mother that it messed up my feelings for him. I had this…stupid, childish resentment towards him because of something that Irina and I agreed to do for his benefit."

Wallace felt a lump in his throat, thinking over his words, "...I'm not exactly 'Father of the Year' material."

"How are you the same man who pushed me to go rescue my daughter?" Valentin gestured to the closed bedroom door, "How can you push other parents to be better but not push yourself? I just…why did you carry this resentment at all?"

"Because I, in my addled brain, stupidly tied Irina cutting us out to Dex instead of Helena. I mean, I blamed Helena for her role, but I held it against Dex because he mattered more to Irina than I did. As long as he was safe and fine, that was it. I felt like she didn't care about me."

"Did you call raising your son 'babysitting' too?"

Did it ever occur to you that, besides being his father, she had Dexter go with you because she trusted you? Because she loved you and thought that there was no one better to be with him than you?"

"Oh God, shut up!" Valentin got to his feet, "Stop with this pitiful self-loathing act! Stop wallowing like an angsty teenager over your 'mistakes' and 'bad decisions' when you can be the grown adult that you're meant to be and fix what you did."

Seeing Wallace apologize profusely and meaning it got me misty eyed and while I would've ate up Wallace and Dex reconciling then and there I'm actually glad Dex didn't accept his apology especially if he didn't feel ready to, no matter how much Wallace truly regrets everything that has went down. Like fuuuuck my heart hurts for them but I loved that dex put himself first.

He looked at Dex one last time before exiting, Irina standing a few feet away. She looked over Wallace with a curious, sympathetic silence before walking into the room, rushing to her son's side.

"Don't," Dex held a hand up, tears staining his cheeks, "He needs you way more than I do."

Irina stared for a moment, blinking in shock. She slowly backed away and left, and Dex watched on through the window as she embraced his father tightly, the man's cries echoing in the room as much as it echoed in his ears. He leaned back in the bed, closing his eyes, more tears flowing as he let the heartbreak swallow him whole.
