Not rude! Honestly, I don't know these days! Lots of thoughts swirling around in my head. Maybe this is too much, but also maybe saying something instead of keeping it inside will be helpful... I'll put my gender thoughts under the cut... maybe someone can relate and offer some thoughts lol:

Recently, I came to the conclusion that I'm really not attracted to men at all, and maybe, I never have been. Looking back, I can kind of clearly see that any crush on a guy I thought I had was more like "wow, this person is COOL as HELL. I hope we can be really good friends." And then I noticed, that any crush I had on a girl felt... different. The feeling was totally different, and it still is. Have you noticed how most of the men I draw are quite feminine? I also have no idea what's going on with my gender. I know I'm me, a Yugo, I also can't comfortably say what exactly I am. Though by technicality, I am nonbinary, the word doesn't feel QUITE right to use for me. Maybe genderqueer is better. I've never identified as a man, but I have identified as transmasc and taken T. I really do like the results I've gotten from that. But at the same time, I don't really feel close to "manhood" at all, but something about having a mustache sometimes, like I tend to do, feels right to me still. I also like to wear lipstick and stuff. I don't know. I'm also not a "woman" I don't think, but I identify with more... I don't know, masculine expressions of womanhood if that makes sense? I am very androgynous in expression, in short. So basically I don't know what the hell is going on. All I know is I love women LOL. Can anyone relate to any of this? Any ideas?? I will not be offended by any assumptions you might have lol. Maybe I should just make a comic about this.

Alastor Reacting To Stereotypical Activist Gen Zer (No NSFW really ig)

Me and @rainyvandragon were discussing this last night and we thought it was the funniest thing ever, so I wanted to write a short fic for you guys. Enjoy.

This might be offensive to some audiences but I tried to portray a stereotypical feminist Gen Zer in the eyes of somebody closed minded (somebody like Alastor kinda) so LOL.

The new generation, Gen Z, (1997-2012), started making their appearances in Hell. Alastor, being a gentleman from the 1930s, wasn't used to being around the influx of activists, feminists, vegans, etc. It wasn't until one showed up at the hotel seeking redemption that he truly met his match.

"WHATS UP GIRLY POPS?!!" The Gen Zer kicked open the doors, strutting into the lobby. They turned to Charlie, "Omg, you look SO slay!!"

Alastor looked at them in disgust. What the fuck were they even saying?

The Gen Zer turned to Alastor and gasped in delight, "Omg! Look at youUU-UH."

They walked over to Alastor and sat on the chair next to him.

"What are your pronouns?"

Alastor looked dumbfounded. "My... My what?"

"Pronouns silly! Are you a girl, boy, trans, non-binary, gender-fluid-"

They went on for a couple minutes before Alastor interrupted.

"I'm a boy, my Dear."

"Are you a CIS male?"

Alastor literally was getting so fucking annoyed because he literally has no fucking idea what this mf was talking about.

"...Yes."

"Great! So He/Him. What's your sexuality?"

Alastor didn't know what the fuck that meant.

"...I don't like having sex."

"Omg so you're ASEXUAL? QUEEN!!! LOVE THAT FOR YEWWW-UH!!"

Alastor wanted to die (again).

The Gen Zer got back up and started talking to Charlie. Charlie also looked a little offput but she was a LOT more accepting.

"So... how did you die?"

"Oh, my, GAWD, I literally was at a protest and some stupid fucking cops decided to pump me full of lead! Whatever, at least I went down for fighting in what I believe in."

Angel Dust perked up, "And what do you believe in?"

"WOMENS RIGHTS AND UNRESTRICTED RIGHTS TO ABORTION-UH!"

Alastor was banging his head against the table in the lobby.

"Oh and I also got arrested a few times for vandalizing government property but hey! Worth it!"

Angel Dust was CRACKING up at Alastor's reaction and Charlie was trying to listen attentively.

"We definitely need to completely remove gender roles from our modern society. Oh, I also really miss my husband... I proposed to him recently and he's SUCH a good stay at home dad!"

people are so stupid. non-radfems of all varieties on here rarely read my bio, NEVER read my pinned or any of my actual original writings on whatever topic they wish to attack me about (even though my original posts are pretty well tagged and categorized & my pinned includes a key to said tag system), then make up in their heads what my opinions, values, and beliefs are (and more often than not what my experiences are/aren't, too) and proceed to attack me based on these assumptions and imaginings. it's the same formula every time. and I see them do this with other radfems all the time, too, I'm just speaking from my personal experience in this post but I'm aware it's not at all unique.

one of the funniest things I see is GII followers declaring "victory" or calling a radfem stupid for using the preferred pronouns/preferred sex or gender terms of the attacking party... as if there aren't a LOT of radfems who do this very much deliberately on- and offline. as if there aren't radfems who go by non-sex-based pronouns for a variety of reasons that aren't gender identity. as if there aren't dysphoric, trans, detrans, and caught-in-between radfems.

as if every radfem on earth just gets off on running up to trans people (literally irl, or metaphorically if online) to point in their faces and scream "MALE! HE/HIM! YOU'RE A MAN!" or the female equivalent. I've had insults and accusations thrown at me countless times that were very clearly founded on the assumption that I do that or something akin to it, and that I take great pride in it. when the truth is so very far from that.

the constant assumption that I/radfems in general are ignorant or uneducated when it comes to GII is sooo fucking funny. the idea that a single thing any GII follower on tumblr has ever tried to "tell" me about trans people or GII is a novelty is extremely funny as it has not yet happened to this day. to date, I have known more and had more experiences within trans spaces than anyone coming after me, and could've argued their side against me better than any of them have. the day this changes is the day i reconsider my opinions.

SUN — sits comfortably somewhere in the transmascneu range i think. pangender, encompasses anything and everything. makes little to no effort into really transitioning simply because he has better things to do! he has a solar system to run! also he is above the concepts of gender. whether you think hes more "masc" or "fem" means nothing to him. hes the sun.

MERCURY — the most trans transmasc to ever trans. i dont know if hes more male or nonbinary leaning but that honestly just depends on the day for me personally. probably more nby. he 100% would go through with physically transitioning because the dysphoria is killer

VENUS — literally the complete opposite to mercury, the most trans transfem to ever fem. honestly see her as more butchy, but only really becomes more comfortable with being more masc once she has transitioned (transitioning in this case just meaning socially, though physically i imagine shes on the fence abt it. change and whatnot. she does have a bit of a chest though i think #boobs)

A LOT. especially when new additions come out like the remake trilogy. i do have sorting tags for it, but this is the only fandom i do that for. while my older reblogged posts are not fully sorted, generally how i sort them now (not counting character tags) is

I really fell hard for the Goodreau BJDs. I have a couple of searches saved on eBay and I sometimes luck into a deal.

As far as I know, nobody is recasting them, either, so I don't have to worry about that.

But back when Paulette Goodreau was still making dolls, there were deals as she started wrapping up her business.

Once upon a time, Goodreau had a deal where one could buy a set of 4 12 inch "Hint" boy dolls for $100. They were clearly "leftover" dolls from various high-end doll and BJD events. I bought a set and split the order with a couple of people.

My 12" Hint was named Alexander, partly because I simply could NOT find him a well fitting wig. He became my supervillain, idolizing Dr. Evil, Lex Luthor, and Megamind.

I had a whole storyline where he was a mad scientist with a fine college-prep internship with the local Monster High.

My roommate used hers for a resin-dying project that didn't quite work the way she wanted. He turned out a way darker blue than she intended.

I bought him off of her. He got an Indian face up inspired by Rama. Eventually I traded him to Silverbeam's Magic for my Octoboy.

As for Alexander, I sold him to a friend who wanted to get her teenager her first resin BJD. Said Teen already had a great 11 1/2 inch doll collection and so she was tickled to get a doll in that scale. I was so pleased to send him along to a new collector.

Then, last year, I found the 12" female Goodreau that I wanted. There were two face sculpts; Alice and Julia. I snagged a Julia for a fantastic price, particularly since she came with her special limited edition convention exclusive "Magician's Helper" costume.

And I think she's great! So when I had a chance at a 12 inch BJD again I thought maybe she would like a brother.

Hint came with this amazing outfit. I'm not sure of the artist or brand but it is a high quality outfit. I got this whole package for the price of the wig.

New Hint hasn't told me a name or pronouns yet. Hint appears to have been dressed as a girl in his previous owner's cabinet, so it could be that this is a She/They or neopronoun doll. I have Ginger who wears what they want, and Crikey who appears to be a gender and likes to wear things that are silly, regardless of gender. Nimona appears to embrace "whatever gender presentation is funniest at the time."

The only preference I've picked up on was "Long Hair."

I'm wondering if I wind up giving away or selling my male dolls because I don't have creative clothing/costumes for them? Time to start combing lots of Ken clothing for costume pieces, I think.

Julia loves her new outfit, though.

I know it's because Matt forgot at first or added it later but meeting Dairon and knowing their pronouns makes it extremely funny that they listened to Beau call her a man like six times and the first words out of their mouth are "actually, I'm a woman." Master of "my gender is whatever is funniest at the moment." I can fully picture them saying deadpan "gods forbid women do anything" one of the times Beau gets on their ass. Favorite NPC hands down.

I love the trend of “my pronouns are whatever is funniest” bc honestly same. I cringe at being called she/her most of the time but when it’s a bit, that’s awesome. I don’t like the feeling of any pronouns for the most part but for some reason when it’s part of a joke I’m perfectly comfortable. I could go into self reflection at how that pairs with my discomfort of introspection re gender but tbh it’s way more enjoyable and comfortable to just go “my gender is whatever was going on with bugs bunny”
