I was at a con recently and here was my attempt at a cosplay of the long quiet! I based the design off the bit we could see in the mirror as well as some of the fanart I’ve seen and then the rest is just based off what I thought could work well to portray the character (in a costume that wouldn’t overheat me for 12 hours or so at a con)

I created the gloves based off a tutorial by @sunset_sewing on Instagram.

The cape was a very altered version of the high low cloak on Fleecefun.com.

I got the 3D model of the dagger from blreyns on Printables and painted it.

And the mask I patterned based off a plague doctor mask I have.

The rest (aka the leggings, bloomers, and vest/corset) I got off of Amazon.

I definitely have plans to eventually improve the costume but I’m happy with how it turned out especially as the first cosplay I actually sewed pieces for.

Special mention to the last two films here, which I have only watched a few of times (the last I've watched exactly twice and I'm not sure I can watch again) but are just utterly beautiful films. Devastating and very painful, the last especially so, but still beautifully done. Yes I know this isn't 10 I can't narrow anything down, especially when it comes to animated films. Had to exclude any animated Disney or I'd never be finished here. I'm already regretting some of the films I'm only now just remembering but this is a bit of a wider spread of my likes. Spent half an hour thinking of a single film and then I get to 10 and suddenly I remember ALL OF THEM! oh no. I did too much today, which means I walked or stood up all day. and we're going to a concert tomorrow.... I'm very worried that my feet won't like it 😭

i was tired of being so antsy and anxious so i left the house and walked almost 5 miles. this technically broke my PT rules but i was able to consciously engage my core the whole time to keep my back from hurting + my hips from subluxing (thank u 9 days of PT exercises already making a measurable difference) & now i'm taking a hot bath so i am..... Knocking On Wood that i'll be okay. please god.
