Для меня это когда моё воспитание вступило в диссонанс, а то и в противоборство с моим самоощущением. Жизненные принципы не изменились, и правда всё так же правда, но выстроить на ней рабочую систему уже не получается. Всё, что я знаю и умею, всё, свидетелем чего я была в течение своих дней говорит: это так не работает.

Всю дорогу нам внушали: только труд сделал из обезьяны человека! Да, всё так! За тысячи лет, да.

Ну и теперь вот здравствуйте! Если я не работаю- значит бездельница, значит никчёмный человек, не приношу пользу. Если выпадаю из системы, из гонки, то уже не смогу встроиться, придётся начинать с более низкой планки. Ох, уж эта гонка!

Мы вступили в неё ещё не закончив учиться и подспудно нам внушали, что выйдешь из гонки и считай в профессии тебе каюк, твоё место займут другие, твой шанс уйдёт кому-то ещё, а ты сядешь торговать в Пятерочке. Серьёзно???

Я уже пару месяцев не в гонке, но не испытываю страха "не вернуться". Потому что мне там разонравилось. Не могу утверждать, что совсем не испытываю стыда, что не "бегу" со всеми, однако решительно заверяю, собрав в пригоршню всё свои комплексы и сомнения: это МОЁ решение, принятое МНОЙ в МОЕЙ жизни, а это означает, что для меня оно единственно верное!

some fun facts:

fluttershy is half unicorn here!! that's why she has the deer-like build and slightly long tail.

applejack is fully just a horse.

their jobs (in the order shown in the lineup) are royal messenger, royal jester, royal menagerie keeper, royal tailor, royal orchard farmer and Queen Celestia's Most Specialest Student.

in this au, they all met due to working within the castle grounds.

in this au, celestia is queen, luna is still banished, and twilight is discouraged from making friends as it distracts her from her studies. she is celestia's heir and grew up in the castle.

jason's 13 years at the super disciplined camp and several years as a leader of said camp mean it is very unlikely that he is any shade of feral, except for maybe a few minor idiosyncracies that all camp jupiter kids have because they all spent time at the wolf house, but since they all have these traits, they might be considered cultural rather than feral. however, annabeth chase, who was famously left alone until she was seven and was raised by an ancient greek horse man that used to live alone on a mountain, a barely sober god of mental illness, several other mythical beings based on animals, and approximately 37 different traumatized, exhausted, and desperate teenagers at an unregulated summer camp where she learned how to be scary by studying greek monsters, would definitely be somewhere near feral.
