CONSTANCE MY DARLING. world's most misunderstood character whom I love very dearly. she is Not a mom friend. she is Not ocean's nurse. she is nice, but most of the fandom does not understand why she chooses to be post-cyclone in their everyone lives aus.

and nobody ever addresses her trauma!!! she was depressed and suicidal!! she was sexually assaulted by a carnie in his 30s! her best friend wouldn't ever let her speak for herself, and constantly put her down and pushed her around! stop acting like they all just forget about it and constance has no issues to work through post-canon, damn it!!

12 - the unpopular character that you actually really like and why more people should like them

constance is by far the most underrated. she was depressed. she loves her family but she realized it too late. she is the nicest girl in town and hates it. she hates everyone around her including her supposed best friend, but hates herself more. her dead end town is worth loving, worth experiencing all over again, worth MISSING, and that's why she wants to give her vote on who deserves to come back to life to the scary doll girl with no identity or memories. she deserved and continues to deserve so much more.

i don't have castings for squip and Mr heere, but chart @1racoon7trenchcoats I believe you'd make a good Mr Reyes if ONLY because his voice on the soundtrack reminds me of Charles Deetz in the beetlejuice musical and he's your guy. so like technically you'd also be filling for Mr here, which would make you bucket's dad and that is SO funny to me.

Midway through the book I wondered how the story would be if instead of "Lucy is the warning and Mina is the one they must save", Jonathan came back a couple weeks earlier and it was "Mina reads her traumatized husband's journals and can't talk to him about it for fear of hurting his health. So she, Lucy, and one or two of Lucy's maids team up to save Lucy and fight Dracula." Idk if that sparks any drawing inspo?

The way they sacrificed themselves because they didn't want to let them sacrifice anything else. The way they were both raised to think of themselves as bound to the service of mouldering houses that they hated, even both specifically born with the intention that they would die young. The way they both have to keep reminding themselves that the person they love is young and can't handle this shit. I'm either on to something or this is just the fevered ravings of a dying mind. They made a war of their lives.
