And I couldn’t help but think of Gale and John like. Like in actual canon when Buck was trying to keep Bucky sane in the Stalag and gave him little tasks to do and John was kind of like everything is pointless I don’t have anyone waiting for me and we’re never getting out and Buck was like we’ll get out. And also in your cooler fic au when Gale said “with all the extra weight you’ll be carrying now” bitterly and John was like I’ll do anything for you! Like AHHHH this makes my heart melt and makes me wanna read more and more with this sort of dynamic haha. Sorry for the little brain dump here. Hope you have a great day!!

I’ve seen that quote in this fandom and just can’t remember what post/context but YES, that is the perfect quote for Buck x Bucky imo too!

The stalag arc in the show was absolutely reminiscent of that concept. The way Austin plays the emotions, all in his eyes and a clench of his jaw, you could see how worried he was for Bucky and how much he was struggling. And he just wanted Bucky to stay with him and get through it together.

And in my coolerverse, that quote fits perfectly too! I decided to make them an Established Relationship for it because there was enough angst and hurt and fear without adding in the pain of pining/misunderstandings.

I wanted to explore how all of that (plus what I threw at them) would effect them if they went through it as a couple and it’s been so wonderful being able to write the soft parts of them.

Tender Buckies is my favorite thing and them taking care of each other will always be a central concept in all of my writing.

Luigi is amazing with handling Bowser Jr, and Bowser loves that about him (despite struggling to express it). He does things like making macaroni art w/ Bowser Jr and they show it to Bowser together!

If anyone lays a hand on Luigi, Bowser is furious and will become very protective of him.

Bowser falls asleep very fast when he goes to bed, so Luigi usually tucks him in and gives him a kiss every night. Probably staying up to do a few extra things but he wants to make sure Bowser is comfy and safe.

Luigi is a pretty decent cook and loves to make home meals for Bowser and Bowser Jr, including classic hearty Italian dishes like lasagna, gnocchi and plenty more recipes. They eat the dinners very fast and the plates are empty before Luigi can blink, already getting asked for seconds.
