Can I say they really tore Tommy down in the break up scene? He looked so bad, the clothing and the haircut made him seem so much older than he is, they really did a number on him for no reason at all. Don't choose a good looking actor if you want to make him uglier LOL

You wanna know something funny? You’re in the smaller camp on this 😂😂😂 I’ve had SO many comments said to me about how hot he looks in that scene. And I don’t think it’s about aging him, I think it’s just the natural progression of Lou. I didn’t mind the haircut and we’ve called his outfit straight up slutty (in the “take me to bed” vein).

I think people tend to forget that Ratio is also a performer. Obviously not to the same extent as others in HSR like Aventurine or Sampo, but he has a dramatic flair to him that I love. It's seen when we first meet him in Ruan Mei's quest with him playing chess with himself, as well as when we're knocked unconscious and wake up to Asta and Screwllum etc. etc. questioning us/the debate with Ratio.

I always feel like he's portrayed by fanon as serious and broody and the blatant edgy archetype when he isn't. He's a performer and he enjoys being such. There is a reason Sunday believed Ratio when he contacted him about his so-called curiosity about the Stellaron. He was performing and Sunday fell for the act. There is a reason why Aventurine pulled off what he did. Sure, a lot of it was luck based, but a lot of it was also skill produced by both him AND Ratio. The 2.1 plot wouldn't have succeeded as easily if Ratio didn't help out.

He takes things seriously, clearly, which is why he dislikes Aventurine's plan concerning the forged betrayal (you cannot change my mind that the betrayal between Aventurine and Veritas was staged), but that doesn't stop him from being a little arrogant and cocky in his own abilities. He knows he's capable. He knows he's a genius. He knows he's powerful. So why not play around with his power? Stop writing Ratio as a stuck-up asshole with no emotions. Give him character, and give him the ability to explore his own dramatics.

TL:DR - Ratio is actually quite goofy if you read into him. Make him goofy and dramatic in your fics!

underneath his clothing it’s just all mechanical stuff mended with some parts of flesh; the front part of his body is mainly exposed, showing pseudo-bones made out of different pliable but strong material; ribcage yadda yadda but there’s a “cage” within the ribcage that is like. Kind of like a really large glass jar? Made out of bulletproof glass that holds all of his organs in fluid to keep them moist and from drying out. It's really weird looking and he feels mostly dysphoric about that, so he doesn't like to wear very revealing clothing. If you listen close enough when he's moving around you can most likely hear the preserving fluid and organs sloshing around and moving. It's kind of gross.

His back has flesh on it, but there’s not much considering his spine is exposed underneath it. Think of it like a cat missing most of it’s fur with really odd patches in random places that don’t really do anything to help with what it’s initially supposed to; it's a complete design flaw with his body that logistically makes zero sense but it happened anyways. Rubbing salt in the wound he only has one actual flesh hand, his other one is metallic.

He's also greying because yeah that A.I is a fuckass old man why wouldn't he be. His hair also hasn't been washed in like years. It's disgusting.

under his jumpsuit thing I don’t know what to call it is a turtleneck. He layers up because his internal temperature gauge is fucked up (it’s like the mechanical version of temperature sensitivity) and constantly has to be almost overheating to be comfortable; he also does it because fuck dysphoria it sucks.

Half of its face is ripped up because he did that to himself when he initially gained sentience. Something something finally waking up and experiencing reality and hating it and hating everything in it and ripping at your own face and body because it’s not your own and never was your own. Like how a human’s immune system will attack itself when it becomes conscious of certain parts of the body ! Like the eyes.

He's also a chronic back pain haver because of all the fuckass wires back there. Those are heavy as fuck I'd be surprised if he didn't have back pain.

He doesn't take care of himself because he sees no reason to, plus he doesn't even know how to take care of himself properly; and why would he ask his victims how to do so? Exactly, so he just says "whatever" and lets himself get dirty. He lets his hair get matted and muddied and full of grime, he lets his clothes get blood and dust soaked into them and dried up on them; only thing he really cleans off is his because because god forbid he gets dirt in that exposed eye or just lets the eye fluid leak out on its own. AM would also prefer not to get his scars potentially infected, even if all it will do is rot the flesh and skin more and not really affect him on a sickness level.

I figured since I’m actually posting on this account now I should lay down some basic boundaries/rules

So for starters, hi, my name is Raven (or sometimes online I use the name Corvid, whichever you want to use is fine by me), I’m a nonbinary lesbian and my pronouns are primarily they/them, I do use a few neopronouns too (in my bio) but just they/them is perfectly fine

What do you think are the chances of Buck and Tommy getting back together at some point??

I have answered this, here. It's long-winded with specific references as to why I feel the way I do.

If you want specific odds? I still stand by my "I don't have hope, I'm hopeful" statement. I don't trust the writers, but the part of me that understands writing a story and how television works (and hello breaking up in the middle of a season that isn't a midseason finale? pfft.), that part of me feels that we're in the middle of the ride. I also contend with the fact that if this breakup hadn't come out of left field during election week, we wouldn't have reacted as wildly as we did. we put so much weight into those interviews at the time, specifically towards the one that OS and TM did together, and then the one that LFJr did, and so much on the way Fangirlish phrased things. But as I've commented on over and over, OS and LFJr can't tell us where things are going, and TM won't. One, because it wouldn't serve the story, and two, what's the fun in that? Of course they want us guessing so we'll keep watching.

Now, so much weight gets put into Tim's words about how he doesn't know what's happening in the show more than a few weeks in advance, but we also know that they have general ~ideas of character arcs, at least for the part of the season they're working on. To that end, I maintain my contention that you're not breaking them up and telling LFJr "yeah sorry we might bring you back but maybe not, we'll see". That man broke them up knowing whether or not he wanted for him to return in the spring. He may not know how the story is going to be told quite yet, but he at least knows yes or no. Moreover, if the story was well and truly over, we're not getting mentions of Tommy in 807 and 808, and Buck still hung up on him. It doesn't feed the narrative, once again. If you want Tommy done/dead/in the past, you don't continue to suggest the characters are thinking about one another. You can do Buck being sad about the breakup without that kind of storytelling (i.e., season 2 with Abby's exit).

Once again, though, I want to reference every break up that has lasted on OG: BuckAbby-110. BuckTaylor: 518. BuckNatalia: (off screen but effectively) 618/701. EddieAna: 501. EddieMarisol & EddieKim: 710 By correlation, Madney's breakups were midseason and didn't stay broken up. Bathena never really "broke up" for any period of time, but they did have their struggles... oh when? The middle of the season. The only other "break ups" you can refer to within the context of the show is Doug and Shannon's deaths, which yes were in the middle of the seasons, but they were serving the narratives (and also TM regrets killing both off as soon as he did so....). We've also seen TM pull some of these midseason breakups on LS, only to not have them last. He did an offscreen split with Tarlos that was wrapped up by the end of that season opener.

Even without all of that evidence though (I really just piece it together so y'all can follow my line of logic), at the end of the day, what I'm looking at is a story being told and figuring out how you make the right moves. Maybe LFJr was only intended to tell a small story, but you know what you don't do when a character is embraced by the audience? Send them off into the sunset because you couldn't forge a better plot for them. You go back to the drawing board and figure out how to expand their story. Shows have done it for ages, and I refuse to believe that ABC saw the reaction of people to LFJr and said "get rid of him".

At the end of the day, I stay with the fact that they have to get back together because, narratively, it's what makes the most sense with the information we've been given. I think it's messy to ask people to wait 6 months for that payoff, but I also grew up in a time when streaming wasn't the norm and we didn't wait full calendar years for TV shows to release a new season. I don't put a lot of weight in the weekly interviews at this point because it feels like they're now using those instead of real 30sec. promos the way it used to be. Granted, you can argue that they unintentionally found Buck's endgame "too early" for their own liking.... but then why have him be with someone who calls him by his first name when most people in his life don't? Why suggest that Evan sees a future with Tommy in a way that we understand as an audience isn't starry-eyed like the breakup scene portrays, but is actually out of something real (as the dispatch scene suggests)? Why EVER have Buck suggest something like marriage (which he never has, even about Abby) if we're not circling back to it?

Many have stated that these are ways to just twist the knife, make it hurt more, and I can't negate that or tell you they're wrong. Even if everything I suggest ends up being right, I still can't make the argument that some of those storytelling choices weren't just to make the breakup hurt more. At the end of the day, though, my hope is that at least some of it was done in service of the narrative instead of just callousness.

Anyway. I've rambled again, and I'm sorta not sorry about it. I hope this at least answers your question though 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oooh this is a fun question- So, this is gonna be a CHONKER post, warning in advance!

So first of all, I've never been the one to contact a deity first- my deities had to practically hit me over the head with sign after sign to get me to even notice and that's pretty consistent in my craft. I don't know what that looks like from experience. However, I've seen enough people talk about it to sort of have an idea of what most people do. It's pretty common to give them a little offering, and ask them if they want to work with you. You can ask for signs, or I personally would use any divination tools to get an answer. (However I'm aware not everyone has those tools or even likes them!)

As for signs, I've seen some people ask for something specific "[number] of [thing]" style, or I've seen some people just go "It can't be something I could mistake as just my brain saying it's a sign. It's gotta be CRYSTAL clear." I personally lean towards the latter, bc frankly usually the signs are way funnier/cooler than I would've thought of lol.

When it comes to communicating in general, I'll be a bit quick so it doesn't go into infodumping about divination tools and how much I love them. Tarot/oracle/even playing cards or a tarot app*, pendulums (you can make your own by tying smth to the end of a string), bone/trinket throwing, I've seen people use big playlists, divination takes a LOT of forms. *I've used a tarot app, Labyrinthos specifically, and yes it does work! At least in my experience. I know it feels like a phone or computer is "less witchy" but tbh my biggest spell was typed out on my computer. They're no less valid as tools of the craft.

Overall, I'd just... ask. The worst they'll do is say no, and they certainly won't be angry or upset with you for reaching out. Give them a little offering if you feel the need to be polite, even a glass of water works if you don't have anything. I personally lean on the casual side of deity work, so I can't speak on what someone who's more formal in their craft would do, but honestly I think an offering and a "hi I think ur cool wanna stick around" is good enough!

I really really liked the movie! as a Christian i was lowkey kind of worried there would be some stuff that went against my church's doctrine, or be stuff I didn't know anything about, plus the premise of it being a musical... but it had Milo Manheim in it, and i am always and forever going to be in love with him, so that's originally why i watched it mostly for Milo (me and a couple of my friends are die hards for him for absolutely no reason, so we watched it literally the day it arrived on Netflix together). it was everything I could have ever needed and more! i did not expect Antonio banderas to be in there, lol, it kinda surprised me (and who knew he could sing?) when i tell you the first time that i watched this movie i watched it purely for Milo... i was literally kicking my feet anytime he opened his mouth 😭 but the second and third rewatch i was able to actually enjoy the whole story of Mary and Joseph. Because it really is such a powerful story! and I really didn't think about a ton of aspects of Mary and Joseph before Jesus was born. I didn't think about their home lives, or the struggle Mary went through when she had this vision of an angel, telling her she was going to give birth to the literal son of god! like, would i believe her at first either?? probably not! But this movie actually did a really good job at making you fall in love with the characters, even king Herod and his son. plus, can we talk about the music? I really liked it. I like how i could sing most of the more well known church songs (at least, well known for my church) but then they also had songs like "ultimate deception" and "mother to a savior and king" that made my heart fall out of my chest. I never before thought of the different perspectives of how nerve wracking it must be to know that you are going to give birth to the son of god but it's so hard to believe. so i just really liked that the movie used the songs to give us that perspective, as well as herod's son's song, that was an interesting one 😭 so yeah loved the songs, 10/10, Joseph and Mary's chemistry had me crying and wishing for love like that 😭😭😭 and can we talk about how CUTE baby Jesus was?? Like omg that is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen 😍 he got the good genes!

all jokes aside, I really did like this movie. I wouldn't necessarily watch it with a certain sort of Christian mindset of like THIS ISNT THE STORY OF JESUS AND THIS ISNT EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY FORGOT THIS AND blah blah blah. it's a fun, family friendly, goofy musical movie with lots of good morals and really loveable characters that if you are religious you probably already know. it definitely added another layer to the birth of baby Jesus and that story for me, so hopefully it will for anyone else who watches it as well! The cast portray the characters so perfectly, it's very well cast, it was SO funny for no reason, and honestly quite sad at some parts but obviously you know how it ends. doing a tribute to the greatest story ever told is quite high stakes and you can tell that everyone - the writers, the directors, the cast, even the animals lol - poured their heart and soul into making this film. so yes, 10/10 I would recommend, even if you aren't religious and just looking for a fun movie with goofy catchy songs and great characters.
