And that’s genuinely hard to say, cause fun fact that answers your second question: Papyrus is my fave character in Undertale as a whole bdhdhdhdhhzhs

In fact, I love Papyrus a lot more than I love Sans (Sans is my beloved but Papyrus is just the best sorry I don’t make the rules dhdhhdh)

And if I have to choose other than Papyrus, I think I love Toriel, Alphys and Flowey the most :D

What caught your eye about hambone? First I thought he was silly bc of the gold teeth but I learned more about the real hambone and I love him sm!! <3 the actor is so beautiful

my first watch of mota when he showed up in ep 1 & the end of ep 2, i recognized him as "wtf this dude has gold teeth oh he's defo a fuck boy" but didn't think much of ham LMAOOO i was still madlyyyy obsessed w/ buck and crosby i didn't have time for my eyes to wander <3

wait hold on i wrote way more than i thought i would lemme read more. i love hambone. he is everything to me

and then like episode 5 came around and i kept rewatching the first couple of episodes and i should've known better because i KNEW he was (is) fine as fuck i simply could not ignore it any longer. i always love the off-putting pretty bitches and hambone is exactly that, an off-putting pretty bitch. i was endeared by his bright ass blonde hair because it reminds me A LOT of an f1/f2 driver i love (liam lawson) so i feel like i kinda was set up from the beginning to be partial to this tall blonde pretty boy 😩💜

AND JUST LIKE YOU when i decided i was way too curious and enamored to ignore hammy's existence any longer, i just started researching more about real ham and just fell in love with brady's crew in general and found hammy so interesting and cool -- there is a part in a wing and a prayer where crosby writes about how hambone (unlike harry) genuinely wanted to get to the war and during training he was worried the war would already be won and over before he got the chance to go fight in it. and another member of brady's crew wrote in a journal he kept about how, while they were still in the U.S., all of brady's crew agreed with one another that they didn't wish to fight for the honor and medals of it all, they just wanted to go do their jobs, help return the world to something peaceful, and then go home. we love humble kings. anyway this is a side note but i'm ngl i feel like sometimes people in the fandom kinda mischaracterize/"Fanon"-ize hambone a lot and it sometimes rubs me the wrong way. but that's just me

obviously he probably still counts as a minor character in MOTA, but idk i love the character jordan still portrayed, he's a lil weirdo and a little silly with his gold teeth of course, but i fully love the bits of personality we got from him <33 he's a funny, witty boy with pride and confidence about his job (bombardiers r so hot it's just true. they are sexy af being competent) but also stubborn and a little aloof and easily irritable, doesn't seem to be all too bothered by being overly kind to people he doesn't know/we often only see him socializing with people from brady, crank, or blakely's crews (all men who irl hambone shared barracks with and had close ties to !) ... i love a dude who keeps to himself / doesn't feel the desire to step too far outside of his close social circle, it makes him even more intimidating imo and i love it. he's so hot. he's like a cryptid to me and i find his freaky vibes insanely alluring. like even the cat killing CANNOT put me off, if anything it made him sexier idk why .... like he's a lil vicious yes but he's also a resourceful bastard like that, like brady said protein is protein & hambone was very kind to his buddies to make them cat soup <3

ALSO he's just very very fun to write. i adore writing him he's so interesting.

Sorry if this sounds out of nonwhere but what are your opinions on canon ink? Maybe fanon ink too perhaps

Canon Ink is my absolute beloved, he’s super complex and I just fucking adore how morally grey he is!

I have mixed feelings about fanon ink?? I feel like (just like Killer) it really depends on the fanon interpretation, there are interpretations in fanon that i like, others I’m neutral about (not my cup of tea but still can indulge in them), and a few I hate with a passion

I especially hate interpetations that have him as a “bad guy” cause of his grey morality or the fact he’s soulless, or when they “fix” him by giving him a soul

Like the problem isn’t the fact he’s soulless, it’s literally just Ink’s personality, he’s a hypocrite that sees everyone as characters in a story yet sees himself above it, that’s why he doesn’t care when people die inside AUs but cares about the AUs themselves, cause creators/creation is literally what keeps him alive, and yes, he’s selfish for it, but he also deems himself the guardian of these AUs… see how conflicting his morality is with his actions?? That’s why Ink is such a good character <33333

But people somehow blame it on the fact he’s soulless?? It’s like how did you even connect his personality with his soulless ribcage dhhdhdhh

Like yeah I get it, souls in monsters are the culmination of their being and whatnot, but a soul doesn’t determine morality, and a monster with a soul can do bad things and a soulless monster can do good things

Morality is complex and is beyond black and white boxes but the fandom just can’t handle grey morality and it shows with how Ink (and especially Ink) is mostly interpreted hcchhchcch, like unfortunately a lot of the fandom feels the need to put Ink in one very tight very binary box with a big label on it that determines which “side” he’s on, when in actuality, Ink can’t be put in either black or white boxes and putting any sort of label onto him is missing the point of his character in my humble opinion (like, if you wanna put him under a label so bad at least use the right one that was used for him in canon and say that he’s neutral dhhdhdhd)

Then we have the other side of the fandom that makes Ink into an absolute bitch, don’t get me started on how a part of the fandom take his soullessness as an excuse to make his behaviors even worse than that of Nightmare’s zhhxhxhdhxh

Like yes, Ink can be blunt and mocking, he can be distant and detached, etc, but he’s also helpful and kind, he even usually avoids conflicts, he literally tries talking to people before fighting them in canon

Ink is a very flawed character and to me, that’s what makes him an Interesting and phenomenal, cause in a way, I feel like Ink is a very realistic depiction of people and how they work

Destressing usually happens at home, for you and Nightingale. The days are long and tiring for the both of you, so when you get home you both drag yourselves to the shower to wash up, then flop into bed together. Nightingale doesn't outwardly say it but she loves being cuddled and held in your arms; she's lost you so many times, and sometimes for so, so long that it brings her so much peace to know that you're here. That you're okay.

If Nightingale's had a bad day, she needs a little extra pampering. Maybe you wash her hair for her, then give her a nice, slow massage on her shoulders down to her back. She'll practically melt into the bed, and more often than not end up dozing off completely. You let her sleep in, but she'll always arrive at the office 30 minutes after, flushed but looking definitely more well-rested.

(She smacks you on the shoulder for letting her be late, but before she leaves your office she sets a small packed lunch on your desk.)

If you're the one stressed, Nightingale generally does much the same. For you, your source of stress (outside work) is the recurring nightmares you get. The shackles are powerful, but you are just as shackled to your Sinners as they are to you. Sometimes, their dreams or their nightmares bleed into yours, and you lose whatever remnants of sleep you could've had. You don't like it, both because you can't sleep and because it wakes Nightingale up.

But Nightingale doesn't mind. She pulls you close instead, tucking your head beneath her chin and rubbing circles on your back to soothe you back to sleep. Touch has always been something that grounded you, relaxed you, and Nightingale's touch is especially effective.

NSFT

The hornier way of destressing can go one of two ways, I feel: soft, or desperate.

Soft is reserved for when you and Nightingale are truly just tired, but still want that intimacy. Usually it'll be things like you slipping a hand down her sleep shorts to finger her to a quiet orgasm before bed, and then her returning the favor to you. There'll be a lot of kisses exchanged, breathless against each others' lips, in between whispered i love yous.

Desperate, on the other hand... this is tension stress. Maybe one or both of you had a bad day, which leads to furious makeouts in hidden corners of the MBCC, you front pressing her back against the wall, her arms around your neck. As for lore - I've been fleshing out his background a bit but I'm still uncertain on a few things For certain I think It would be interesting for him to be a member of the church of dragon communion, since dragons are more worshipped by the rest of the chain and then you just have this fucker/aff who eats their hearts to gain abilities a friend of mine also suggested that he could have a second nickname of elden, in tune with the boys tending to have two nicknames or more (like wars/captain or wind/sailor) it would also match how the nicknames seem to be given!! one is what they quested for and the other is something they 'are'

as for him taking maidens? :3 I've been wanting to write a bit for him I won't lie, cause I've had the idea of him possibly being self aware too

It's been a while since I've even touched my playstation, but with my switch all but turning into a brick the last time I tried to play anything but a zelda game. Well there's no reason not to try play on something else. "Shame... booking a repair slot is a headache that I'd rather not have to deal with."
