Hello! I saw that you said it was fine to request still, so if it's alright I'll give you my thoughts/promt if it's fine by you.
Also wanted to say i love you're fanfics! Super entertaining and well written so i was wondering if you could write one that's Vil x mermaid! Reader (romantic) the prompt is-
Vil has been slowly falling in love with the reader; not just by her beauty but her personality the two have these little meet ups where she sings/the two talk endlessly and just enjoy eachothers company, but what I'm getting with this,is that Vil would take time to process his feelings but eventually he gets there and confesses. Maybe it could be a friends x lovers?
whatever you want to do with this idea is cool beans, I just really want to see what you come up with!! Alright, that's all much love ♡♡
Vil Schoenheit x Mermaid! Reader
the idea is so big brained!!! I hope you like it <3
Vil has always appreciated beauty. He lives and breathes it—the art of refinement, the craft of elegance. But lately, beauty has taken on a new form for him, and it looks suspiciously like you. He can’t pinpoint exactly when it started, but he knows it’s tied to those secret meetups you two share by the shoreline.
You’re a mermaid, and you make a point to remind him of that every time he mentions something about the "unbearable" human world. You always roll your eyes dramatically, your tail shimmering in the moonlight as you laugh at his over-the-top complaints about fashion disasters, inferior skincare routines, or the latest scandal in the entertainment industry.
"You humans are so fragile," you often tease, resting your chin on your hand as you float lazily in the water. "Honestly, Vil, it’s a wonder you haven’t all crumbled under the weight of your own drama."
He gives you a sharp look every time, but there’s always a trace of a smile pulling at the corner of his lips. "And yet, here you are, meeting up with one of these fragile humans every week."
"I didn’t say you weren’t entertaining," you retort with a sly grin. "It’s like watching a soap opera, except with more skincare tips."
Vil chuckles, running a hand through his perfectly styled hair, which somehow manages to stay flawless even in the salty sea breeze. "You’d be lost without my advice. I’ve seen your seaweed face masks."
You pretend to gasp, putting a hand to your chest. "Seaweed is a perfectly valid skincare ingredient! In fact, it’s far superior to that toxic concoction you call moisturizer."
"Seaweed smells like the bottom of the ocean."
"And you don’t?"
That’s how it always goes—banter, teasing, comfortable silences filled with the soft crashing of waves, and eventually, music. You sing sometimes, when the mood strikes you. It’s never anything planned; it just happens. Vil always listens, captivated, because your voice is something he can't quite describe. It's raw, but pure, untouched by the expectations of the stage or the pressures of fame.
Sometimes he sings back, though he pretends he’s only doing it because you insist. "Come on, Vil. Just a few bars. You know you want to."
"I am a professional," he says, crossing his arms. "I don’t perform on a whim."
But you know how to coax him, and soon enough, he’s harmonizing with your lilting melody, his smooth, controlled voice intertwining with yours in a way that makes the night feel magical.
It’s been months of these little meetings, and Vil has never been quite sure what to make of you. You’re beautiful, of course—stunning, really—but that’s not what has him coming back to the shore every week.
It’s the way you make him feel completely at ease, the way you challenge him without being mean-spirited, the way you listen to him vent about things you couldn’t care less about yet still offer thoughtful responses.
And then there’s that laugh of yours—sharp, like the crack of a wave against the rocks, but warm enough to make him feel lighter every time he hears it.
He’s always valued control—over his image, his career, his emotions—but with you, he’s found himself slipping. He realizes, with some discomfort, that he’s been looking forward to these meetings a little too much. It’s not just the singing or the banter anymore. It’s... you.
That thought bothers him, because Vil Schoenheit does not get "distracted." He doesn’t fall for anyone. At least, not like this.
But here he is, walking down to the beach again, heart beating faster than usual as he anticipates seeing you. Tonight, though, something feels different. Maybe it’s the way the moon is hanging lower than usual, casting everything in a silvery glow, or maybe it’s the fact that Vil can’t deny his feelings anymore.
You’re already waiting for him when he arrives, sitting on a rock with your tail swishing lazily in the water. "Late again, Mr. Superstar?" you call out teasingly.
"I’m fashionably late, thank you," Vil replies, though there’s a softness in his voice. He takes a seat on the sand, smoothing out his coat with practiced precision before looking at you.
"You’re slipping," you say, eyeing him critically. "Usually, you’d have a comeback ready. What’s the matter? One of your beauty products finally backfired?"
Vil snorts softly, shaking his head. "No, though if it did, you’d be the first to hear about it." He looks out at the horizon, his expression thoughtful. "I’ve just been... thinking."
"Uh-oh," you say, folding your arms over your chest. "That sounds dangerous. What about?"
He hesitates for a moment, unsure of how to approach this. Vil has always been calculated, measured in everything he does. Confessing his feelings, though? That’s not something he’s prepared for. He glances at you, and suddenly, the words start spilling out before he can stop them.
"You know, for someone who claims not to care about humans, you certainly seem to enjoy spending time with me."
You raise an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by the shift in tone. "Are you fishing for compliments, Vil? Because I don’t need to stroke your ego any more than it already is."
He chuckles, shaking his head. "No, it’s just... You’re always teasing me about humans, about my world, but you keep coming back. Why?"
You tilt your head, considering his question for a moment before replying. "Because you’re interesting, Vil. You’re not like the others I’ve met. Most humans get caught up in themselves, but you... you’ve got a spark. You’re genuine, even when you’re being all high-and-mighty. And, well, it’s not like I’ve got a lot of options for good conversation under the sea."
Vil’s heart skips a beat at your words, and he finds himself smiling despite the nerves building up inside him. "I see. So I’m just your entertainment, then?"
"Oh, definitely," you say, grinning. "But you’re also... more than that."
Vil blinks, his breath catching slightly. "More?"
You nod, your expression softening. "You’re someone I look forward to seeing. I like being around you, Vil. You make me feel... seen. And I’m not just talking about my looks. It’s like you actually care about me as a person, not just a pretty face."
He swallows, his chest tightening as he listens to your words. This is it. He can’t hold it in any longer. "I do care," he says quietly, his voice trembling ever so slightly. "More than you know."
You look at him, your teasing expression fading as you sense the weight behind his words. "Vil...?"
He takes a deep breath, steeling himself. "I think... I think I’m falling for you."
There. He said it. And now his heart is racing, his palms are sweating, and for the first time in what feels like forever, Vil Schoenheit is unsure of himself. He braces for your reaction, half expecting you to laugh it off or tease him like you always do.
But you don’t. Instead, you blink at him, your mouth opening and closing as you process his confession. "You... what?"
Vil clears his throat, forcing himself to meet your gaze. "I’m in love with you," he repeats, more confidently this time. "I’ve been falling for you for a while now, and I didn’t want to admit it, but... I can’t keep it to myself anymore."
There’s a moment of stunned silence before you break into a wide smile. "Vil, you absolute idiot."
He recoils slightly. "I beg your pardon?"
You laugh, shaking your head in disbelief. "I’ve been waiting for you to say something for months now! I thought I was going to have to spell it out for you."
Vil blinks, taken aback. "You... you knew?"
"I didn’t know know," you admit, "but I had a feeling. You’re not exactly subtle, Vil."
He stares at you, a mixture of relief and embarrassment flooding his system. "Why didn’t you say anything, then?"
"Because I wanted to see how long it would take for you to figure it out yourself," you say with a smirk, leaning forward slightly. "I didn’t think it’d take this long, though."
Vil narrows his eyes, though there’s no malice in his expression. "You’re insufferable."
"And yet, you love me," you tease, reaching out to cup his cheek gently. "What does that say about you?"
He huffs, though his heart is fluttering in his chest at your touch. "That I have terrible taste."
You laugh again, the sound bright and infectious, and before Vil can say anything else, you pull him in for a kiss. It’s soft, gentle, and Vil feels like his entire world is melting away in that moment. The taste of saltwater lingers on your lips, and for the first time in a long time, Vil isn’t worried about appearances or perfection. He’s just... happy.
When you finally pull away, both of you are smiling like fools. "So," you say, your voice teasing, "does this mean we’re a thing now?"
Vil rolls his eyes, though he can’t stop the grin spreading across his face. "I suppose it does."
"Good," you say, leaning in to kiss him again. "Because I’m not letting you back out of this one, Mr. Superstar."
Vil chuckles against your lips, his hand sliding to the back of your neck to pull you even closer. "Oh, trust me," he murmurs, his voice low and smooth, "I have no intention of backing out. But I do expect you to stop wearing those dreadful seaweed masks."
You gasp dramatically, pulling back just far enough to look him in the eye. "Excuse you! Seaweed is nature’s skincare miracle, Vil. Just because it’s not wrapped in fancy packaging doesn’t mean it’s ineffective."
He raises a perfectly sculpted eyebrow, his lips curling into a playful smirk. "Perhaps, but you’ll have to let me introduce you to something a little more refined. If we’re going to be a couple, I simply can’t allow my significant other to use subpar beauty products."
"Oh, is that so?" you ask, amusement twinkling in your eyes. "I didn’t realize I was dating a beauty tyrant."
"It’s for your own good," he says with mock seriousness, though there’s a warmth behind his gaze that betrays his affection. "Think of it as part of your glow-up. You’ll thank me later."
You can’t help but laugh, your heart swelling with affection for the man in front of you. It’s strange, really—how quickly this has all come together, yet how natural it feels. You never would’ve guessed that your casual banter and late-night talks would lead to this, but now that it’s happening, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Vil reaches out and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch gentle but purposeful. "You know," he says softly, his usual sharp tone melting into something softer, "I’ve never met anyone quite like you."
You smile at him, feeling the warmth of his words settle into your chest. "I could say the same about you, Vil. You’re not as scary as people think, you know."
He chuckles, shaking his head slightly. "That’s a well-maintained persona, I’ll have you know. Can’t let people think I’m soft."
"Oh, but you are," you tease, poking him lightly in the chest. "At least with me."
He scoffs lightly, though there’s no real bite behind it. "I’ll deny it if you tell anyone."
You laugh, resting your forehead against his as you savor the closeness between you. For the first time in what feels like forever, you feel completely at peace, as if everything has fallen into place. Vil, with all his elegance, wit, and sharpness, has somehow become the person you’ve come to care about more than you ever thought possible. And now, as he holds you close, you know that you wouldn’t trade this for the world.
"I’m glad it’s you," you whisper, pressing a light kiss to his cheek. "I never thought I’d fall for a perfectionist with an ego the size of the sun, but here we are."
He lets out a soft, genuine laugh, his arms wrapping around you more securely. "I never thought I’d fall for someone who argues with me over skincare, but I suppose life has a sense of humor."
"Looks like we’re both in for a wild ride, then," you say with a grin.
Vil hums in agreement, his hand gently stroking your hair. "As long as it’s with you, I think I can handle it."
You smile, feeling your heart soar at his words. There’s a certain magic to this moment—a kind of fairy tale that feels like it’s been written just for the two of you. And as you sit there, wrapped up in each other’s warmth, you can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, this is the start of something truly beautiful.
"Well then," you say, pulling back slightly to look him in the eye, "looks like you’re stuck with me, Schoenheit."
"Forever, I hope," he says softly, before pulling you in for another kiss—this one longer, deeper, filled with the promise of something lasting.
And in that moment, with the moon shining overhead and the waves lapping gently against the shore, you know that whatever comes next, you’ll face it together..

so hows the night life in the villages? which is the best and worse? 😸😸
Glad you asked... there are few topics ni the answer ill go deeper in another post but i hope yall get the picture...
Naruto Headcanons - Ranking Nightlife in Different Villages (from best to worse)
1- Kumogakure (THE Party City)
Obviously Kumo takes the first place for its unmatched nightlife culture. It is alive at night and very welcoming of foreigners, some people make a whole trip to Kumo just to party.
There are sooooo many nightclubs of different types. Hip hop, Pop or Western etc. Kumo is known for being the only nation to have stripclubs. other countries, always claim to be more conservative in that area. it ties into the more liberal/accepting expression of sexuality (especially from women).
everything is intertwined when you look up the country's music history. Many famous artists strated in nightclubs.
The city lives at night, many sports clubs are operating during dark hours and inviting the night owls to join in. Along this, you can take all types of classes/courses taking place at night if clubbing is not your cup of tea.
Kumo is so diverse, there is a district/area or stores/businesses for all types of preferences, interests or way of life. Are you LGBT, plus size, disabled, a salary man, vegan, emo, a sneaker head or whatever it is, you will find a place for taste.
it has become a challenge some residents (and tourists), to make a 6PM to 6AM Challlenge. where it consist of staying awake and indulging in the nightlife until sunrise. it was popularized by an episode of Killer Bee's Showtime where they came up with the concept and has became a legit tourist attraction since theres so much to do
2- Konohagakure (6 to 9 Heaven)
In Konoha, a lot of people have a 9-5 schedule so big part of the village nightlife is centered around "after work" activities. When you go out on weekdays, you will mostly encounter employees trying to unwind after a long workday
regardless there are so many activities to do after the sunset. the most popular are karaoke, hot springs and street food stands.
Konoha's foundation being a mountain, there are many hidden spots hidden in its complex foundation. when look over it, you can observe spots of hundred of spotlights all over the city because small goups loves to meetup in various places and just chill together
the largest cinemas are located in Konoha. it one of the few places where you can go watch movies from other nations to the exceptions of Kiri for their heavy censorships laws and Suna for being in a different language.
Cabaret clubs are huge in Konoha.
you can find many 24/7 ramen shops and Internet Cafes
The comedy scene in Konoha is big. off course it doesnt match Kumo's but Konoha produced many well known comedians. All the "Comedy Open mic nights" are to die for.
Konoha scored high also for being a welcoming nation and embraces tourist/foreigners with open minds.
3- Iwagakure (Rock 'n' Roll)
if you are looking for a good music concert to attend. especially for rock and indie music.
it scored lower because many of those locations (to party) and the culture surrounding them are sometimes hard to find
mixed with the nightlife, Iwa has a strong adult entertainment industry. There are countless soaplands and burlesque show, again only if you can find them
(Honorable Mention) 3.5 - Modern Kirigakure (Work in Progress)
On the way to become like Konoha (along with their own sauce) but is not there yet
outside of the capital, they still operate like the previous system like the rest of the country of water.
4- Sunagakure (Organized Events)
The nightlife of Suna is more made of organized events where mass of people attent. The largest venues happen on Fridays since there are a lage diversity of shecdules among the population but everthing stops from Friday night to Sunday morning.
A typical night activity is enjoying tea, there are hundreds of tea stands across the country, sometimes even in the middle of nowhere for travelers during their long journey in the desert. they along serve flavourful whiskeys and tasty snacks. It is the #1 socializing spot.
The food is to die for. The culinary scene of Suna is unmatched, with all the ingredients natives to the regions it gives unique meal you cant find anywhere else. there are many restaurants of all types open until the early hours of the morning.
Live performing is a very prevelant part of Suna's nightlife,
A lot of night activities are meant to be enjoyed in large numbers especially among families since many of them are large.
the problem is that Suna is really weary of tourists/foreigners, so accessing certain areas, restaurants or pubs may be denied because they require invitations. That would limit your acess to tea houses and restaurants in the main city/touristic areas where the inflation is crazzzzyyyyyyy for outsiders. Also the language barrier doesnt help...
the best deal would be to be invited among someone's familiy and celebrate with them, it's just as good as going out
5- Old Kirigakure (Dangerous Territories ahead...)
It is advised for regular citizen (especiall women and children) to stay inside as soon as the sun sets. They say the freaks come out at night, all criminals and gang members come out after nightfall. they occupate various pubs and bars. The city is dual face because it is literraly re-birthed at night for a whole different aura to plague the city at night.
most illegal activities take place at night.
there are a lot of brothels operating under criminal leadership. along with illegal/dubious boxing matches and fight clubs where gambling happens.
Gambling is no joke, it is a serious widespread practice where you can witness (and participate with) players with dices on street corners.
At all time, territories are clearly separated, either by criminal affiliations, ethnicities or caste levels. cross it and will likely pay it with your life.
as a foreigner, if you fit the physical attributes of the local men, you could go unnoticed for some time but it adviced not to even try since you may be cooked when people ask for your paperwork to enter certain spaces. also even if you make and get "accepted", the wrong gesture, word could lead to a misunderstanding and escalate into violence
Kirigakure is male centered society. 90% of the people outside at night are male. many levels of society caters to them hence why a lot of adult males without criminal affialition have no problem going out at night to drink their souls away.
you can witness public intercourse
going on the previous point, there is a deep (but hidden) male LGBT culture running in Kiri. many of them are affiliated with various gangs or crimelords like Gato. Some would suggest that homosexuality is lowkey normalized among gangs (do the homie) but it will never be confirmed. So if you know where to look, are determined (crazy) enough, and looking for a hookup with a tattoed muscular dude with a questionable (dead) body count, then go ahead.
Ironically, the gigolo scene industry is as large as female adult entertainment/prostitution in Kiri. they are not going to tell you that most of them are gang members who fell from grace/punished for making mistakes or literal human trafficking.
6- Amegakure (DO NOT TRESSPASS)
RAVES. The rave culture is unmatched. If you are looking for hardcore parties with moshpits and loud eletronic music you are looking at the right place.
The night culture is really the bulk of what there is to do in Ame, its residents uses thoses parties and alcohol to escape for the reality of their daily lives.
Like everything in the country, it is so hard to acces and it doesnt like outsiders not even a little bit. most of them are not allowed to even enter the city's walls.
There you can find the HARDEST drugs in the entire world. Addictions is a real issue in Ame but when i mean hard i mean amnesia (you forget your life before you consumed it) type of hard
if you go there, you 10000% getting robbed.
thanks yall for your request, that was fun to do. hope the formatting is not too much.
shoutout to @getyourmindrightson, @oceanjenna! thanks for the support.

Hey!! Can u write a story inspired by “Snow on the beach” with Taylor and Lana ofc bc they r the music industry. Love ya!!
𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡- 𝐞.𝐥
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: when you and ethan fall for each other, a new feeling that only can be described as snow on the beach emerges
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: none
𝐚/𝐧: i love lana and taylor so yk i had to fill this request! if you requested something earlier, i am working on it now! also this should be gender neutral, but its my first time writing for a gn reader so I might have messed up! 💗💕
you walked down the dimly lit street with your friends, while having an amazing time. however, something inside you still felt empty. you wanted someone you love you the way you had loved others. you had a couple partners in the past years, but most were hookup buddies or toxic, if we’re being honest.
unbeknownst to you, across the empty street, was a man who had been craving love, the same way you did. he walked behind his friends, who were in seemingly perfect relationships. his roommate chad was laughing with tara, while mindy was holding hands with anika. sam was absent from their meetup, probably with her boyfriend, danny.
as fate would have it, the two strangers would see each other again in the near future.
tara and you had met through a shared class, and quickly became good friends. one friday, during study period, she invited you to a frat party that she was attending with her friends later that night. you agreed, and soon you were laughing your asses off, half drunk, while walking to the house it was hosted at.
chad had seen you around campus, and your kind-hearted personality and gorgeous looks made him think you and ethan were a perfect match. once he heard you were showing up to the party with tara, he knew he had to set you and ethan up.
the two boys waited for you and tara’s arrival. chad had told ethan about you, and ethan immediately recognized your name. you were extremely intelligent, and he had plenty of classes with you. he doubted that you would even look his direction, but chad begged to differ. he spent the next few minutes hyping ethan up, until you arrived.
tara looked around the crowded rooms of the building, searching for her boyfriend. once she spotted him, she grabbed your wrist and dragged you with her. the house was filled with drunk, sweaty college students, and the aroma made you gag.
“chad!” tara exclaimed, letting go of your hand to enthusiastically hug him. “this is my friend y/n!”
you look at the boys, and are immediately caught off guard by the taller ones beauty. you quickly introduce yourself to them, before meeting eyes with ethan.
“ethan, right? i think we have econ together.” you say, eagerly awaiting his response. he was surprised you knew his name, let alone recognized him.
“uh, yeah! i’m pretty sure i’ve seen you around the school before.” he nervously responds, fidgeting with his hands.
“mhm! if im being honest, I literally have no clue what we’re doing in that class.” you reply, trying to start a conversation. chad and tara look at each other with a smile, knowing you and the boy would be getting along well.
“oh, i could totally help! not to flex, but im pretty good at econ. i could help tutor you or something, i mean maybe if you wanted to.” he offers, and you smile and agree. you exchange numbers and begin studying together every tuesday and thursday.
after a few weeks of strictly schoolwork, you start to hang out together more, as friends instead of tutor and tutuee. it started off as going out with the group, but you slowly began spending one on one time with each other.
you were currently having your first sleepover together, as friends of course. you and him were attempting to make homemade cookies, and lets just say it wasn’t going well.
“eth, how much sugar did you pour into the batter…?” you ask, noticing the extreme sweetness while tasting.
“I don’t know, like four cups? thats what you told me.” he continues mixing, unaware of the situation.
“ethan!! i said two cups you dipshit!!” you say, now laughing at his silly mistake.
“what?! you did not!! i mean, it cant taste that bad, right?” he dips his finger in the sugary substance, and immediately regrets tasting it. he starts laughing too, to the point of tears. it really wasn’t that funny, but seeing you laugh just made him fill with joy.
truth was, he was falling for you. and he had a sneaky suspicion that you felt the same. however, this state of your relationship was heavenly, and he wouldn’t dare to ruin anything by attaching a label.
he had never fallen in love with a person who truly loved him back, so this was very new to him. it was an ethereal experience, and he lacked the words to describe it.
if he had to however, he would compare it to snow on the beach. god it was weird, and yet somehow so beautiful. it was like watching a romantic movie, and he was the star.
little did he know, soon you would start dating, and this unique feeling would never go away. in other words, the snow on the beach never seemed to melt.

—
Joel Miller was as famous as they came. Within the last twenty years, he had been one of the most known artists (or you liked to call it, 'cowboys') in the world- most known for his country music and lifestyle. His debut album "Havana and Heartbreak" was released in the early ninetys, and had gone Diamond in the music industry. He won tons of awards (and still does) for his music, such as a grammy award for best album the year he released his debut album, a few AMAs, and a couple PCAs. The most important thing he had won, though, was you.
Joel had met you in a bar in the early 2000s, as he was at his complete high in fame. It started with him buying you a couple of drinks and a few hookups, but eventually turned into you two tying the knot in 2004. You had gone from a quiet, kept-to-yourself, suburbs girl to a centre-of-attention, hollywood, city girl. You weren't a fan of being in the spotlight, but you made sacrifices to be together with your husband outside, in public.
A few years into your marriage, Joel had (somehow) convinced you to be his manager in the industry. You were extremely hesitant at the start, this had meant you had to leave your daytime job and be in charge of so much, the burden was heavy but you definitely didn't want to disappoint him. You had agreed, and it was the second best decision you made in your life (the first marrying him, of course). Now, if anyone has anything to do with Joel, they have to come to you about it first.
Every couple of years, Joel dropped a new album. Times like this were so stressful for you, you had so much planning to do for him. Studio sessions, producer meetups, promos, you name it. Joel was the (pretty, at that) face of his business, and you were the brains. He knew this, so he would try anything and everything to get you to have breaks from the stress whenever he could. From sex in the studio bathrooms, to short trips to the Bahamas, he would treat his girl however she wanted.
Although, that had stopped about a month ago. You had stopped it, despite Joel's pleads not to. All he wanted was for you to be happy and stress-free, but you couldn't control it (unfortunately). Joel's newest album, "Rendezvous on the Riverbanks", had been released. This had meant a tour was upcoming- well, it was upcoming; tonight was the opening night. So much time and effort had gone into this tour, it had just completely drained you.
It had been around ten in the morning now, and you were already at the stadium where Joel was to perform tonight. He had wanted to open in his hometown of Arlington, Texas, and it ended up working itself out. Thankfully, the Dallas Cowboys were playing an away game the night Joel wanted, so you were successfully able to book it for him. You were standing backstage with a headset on, talking to someone apart of the lights team. Joel was standing in the middle of the stage, strumming his guitar to himself, almost silently.
"Alright, uh- dim four, but raise seven by about half." You rose your eyes from your clipboard to look at Joel on stage. The lights changed and he was now illuminated perfectly. A small 'perfect' escaped your lips as you pushed one side of the headset off your ears. "We're gonna keep this lighting, Joel." You called out to him.
He had turned his head over, almost snapping out of a trance. "Fine with me, baby." He had replied with a small smile upon his face. You couldn't help but mimic the smile. Even if Joel was blinded by the light, he would agree with you and say it was fine. If you were happy, so was he. As much as you had wanted to stand here all day and admire your beautiful man, many things had to get done before tonight.
For the next hour or so, you had played around with the microphone. Joel had absolutely hated the microphone attached to his earpiece, so he opted to use a good ol' fashion microphone and stand. One of the microphone tech's, Riley (you thought her name was), was helping fix Joel's microphone. "Just a little lower, darlin'." He had told the girl, standing with his back slouched.
You still stood from the sidelines, headset and board now down and off to the side. "You're slouched, Joel. Stand up!" You (jokingly) scolded him. A small laugh had escaped his lips as he flicks his hand at you, standing up completely straight. Now, Riley was properly able to adjust his stand to the correct length. Once she did this, he stepped forward and muttered a 'one, two, three, check' into the microphone. He and Riley had glanced over to you, getting your final opinion on it. "Sounds great to me, definitely the right height."
Riley's job was done, so this caused her to exit the stage to the opposite side of you. This had left just you and Joel out now (and of course the tens of others of workers scattered around the building). You had walked out to where your husband stood, leaving every piece of equipment you had out to the side for a moment. He had turned to face you just before you pulled him in for a kiss, followed by a tight hug.
"I’m proud o' ya'." Joel had muttered to you, barely loud enough for you to hear. He had stroked the back of your head as your head was tucked into the crook of his neck. "When all o' this is done, we'll take a long trip to wherever ya' wanna go." He had reminded you, still stroking your head.
You had brought your head up for a minute, bringing your hand to cup his right cheek. You met his bright eyes, he was yearning for you. "Anywhere you wanna go, I'll follow you." This had sent Joel smashing his lips to yours, practically off in his pants from just hearing you say that. His free hand had snaked its way around your waist to keep you in place. You did not back away, in fact, you brought your tongue eagerly to the entrance of Joel's mouth. He fought back for dominance, but before either one of you won, your name was being called on the speaker system. This caused a sigh from you, as you had (sadly) pulled back from your husband's lips.
"We can never get a moment of fuckin' silence, can we?" You tucked a piece of hair behind your ear as you shake your head and tsk. This earned a chuckle to escape from Joel’s lips, “Later we will, don’t ya’ worry, sweetheart.”
You brought your lips to his cheek in a quick fashion, pecking the soft skin before turning to walk away. As always, Joel had rose his hand and slapped the bottom of your ass as you walked away. If it were in any other circumstance, you would get pissed at Joel and would've told him to act professional. But, right now, who were you to mind? All you wanted was your husband's hands on you one last time right now, and he just granted that wish.
A golf cart had already been down the steps and waiting for you. You had quickly gotten your clipboard and headset before wasting no more time and getting onto the back, allowing the driver to move. You had found out that the opening act, Abby and the Outlaws, had arrived. Since Joel wasn't able to leave his set prep just yet, you had to go and greet the guests.
After a few minutes, the golf cart had rolled up and stopped in front of the suites. You got out of the back and panned the driver a small 'thank you' before knocking on the second door. You clutched your clipboard in hand, the headset finding its way back to around your neck. After longer than you had hoped, the door had finally opened after what felt like hours. A smile rose to your face a bit quicker than anticipated, with your hand pushed out for a handshake. "Abby and the Outlaws?"
The tall man smiled and nodded his head, "God'damn right we are." He brought his rough hand into yours, shaking it up and down two or three times. He had called the rest of his group over, a tall and blonde girl followed by an even taller and brunette man. The person who had opened the door introduced himself as Owen, the girl as Abby (if it weren't quite obvious), and the brunette by Manny.
"It's great to meet you guys, your music is great!" You had shaken each of their hands, of course still beaming from this encounter (it wasn't fake like before, these people seemed genuine). "I'm sure someone has already gone over everything- this isn't everyone's first rodeo I'm assuming?" You eyed around at the three, the blonde sitting on a nearby chair.
"It definitely ain't." Manny had told you, which had earned a nod from your end. "Figured as much-" You paused, reaching into your back pocket."-Here. This is a map of the entire place, we've reserved you this area for you from three upwards until six. Everything'o yours is already set up, ya' just gotta show up." A small laugh had escaped your lips after pointing to the map. They followed suit with a small chuckle, understanding what you had said.
"Got it. We'll head up in a bit- thank you." The woman, Abby, had stated. With one last smile, and a 'radio me if there's any issues' comment, you were off again. They seemed to have settled right in, plus, people would be coming to assist them shortly, so you were pleased everything was under control. Now, it was time to go find your husband once again.
You had called him about three times before he had answered. Usually, you wouldn't do that because you knew he was busy, but you had to find him. You had answered with many quickened apologizes, but he hadn't minded (he loved to hear your voice, even on the phone). You two chatted for a minute or two before deciding on a place to meet. As soon as you hung up you heard the faint music (you were far away from the open arena) pick up again and finish whatever song the man had been playing.
It took you around ten minutes to trail to the complete other side of the arena in a quick fashion. You were extremely out of breath when you had arrived, this hadn't to have been attractive you thought to yourself. After the weaving in and out of hallways, you had finally landed on the door your husband stood behind of. There was a man you hadn't recognized standing in front, definitely security from the venue- of some sort.
You passed him a small smile, an 'excuse me.' leaving your mouth as you tried to swerve past him. He followed your swerve, shaking his head. "Nobody's allowed in, manager's rules." He had stated to you, which just made you stare blankly at him. You were Joel's manager. You brought your hand up, showing the guard your (extremely) flashy engagement and wedding bands. "I'd like to see my husband, is that such a big deal?"
His face had dropped as he realized who you were. This had only caused you to laugh, it was almost ridiculous. The boy had almost fallen over as he moved to the side. "Sorry, Mrs. Miller." He looked down in shame as you just patted your shoulders, moving past him and into the room. Your husband turned over, a coors in hand. He smiled once he realized who was standing in front of him. You could only smile back as you approached the man you had loved. He brought you into his embrace with an immediate arm over your shoulders, and a peck to the forehead.
"You're good to leave, Tommy." He had stated, to his personal body guard- and his brother. Yes, that was right. Tommy Miller, Joel's younger brother, was Joel Miller's bodyguard. Tommy was always rough, and getting into trouble when the two were young. When Joel had rose to fame, he figured why not give his brother the chance to rough someone up every once and awhile- while getting paid to do so.
Tommy had nodded his head, a small 'hello' to you as he slipped our of the room and waited outside for Joel. "Took ya' a while to make your way up here, darlin'." Joel had said as he maneuvered the two of you over to the extremely uncomfortable couch in the corner of the room. As he sat first, he brought you over his lap. "Hey, I can only run so fast- and it doesn't help when you've lost your all entrance pass." You slightly chuckle as you wrap your arms around his neck. "We'll get ya' another before tonight, don'tcha worry."
Joel's hands had moved from your waist, slowly up your shirt. His lips were now latched onto your neck, which caused a small moan to escape your lips. "Not in here, baby." You had brought your hands up to his hair, your hands running through. Joel had only hummed in response, not really caring if anyone had heard the two of you. Everyone knew you were his- but, maybe they needed a reminder.
Remember earlier, it was said that Joel Miller would do anything and everything for you to lower your stress levels- including having sex with you wherever the two of you were? Well, this was one of those cases. He wanted everyone to know who you were - You were Mrs. Miller.
It was a while later, about an hour until Joel had to go on stage. Right now, fans were going absolutely feral for Abby and the Outlaws. You and Joel were waiting backstage together, having a few drinks. Being with you had helped Joel a great deal, he was able to let loose and stay calm before he went on stage. Even though he had been doing this for years and years, the anxious vibes were radiating off of the man for the last while.
You had changed into a nice, black minidress from your basic tee and jeans. You liked getting dressed up for the occasion once in a while. Unlike Joel, who always seemed to be in his nice pair of jeans and a flannel (his signature look), you didn't mind it at all. Joel sure as hell didn't mind you getting dressed up every once in a while, he wanted you to wear short dresses more often- but it was just too uncomfortable for you, unfortunately.
Out of the small silence you two had maintained for a while (the only "words" were Joel's hands resting on top of your thigh), it was completely broken when a loud voice came echoing through the walls. You knew who this was. Before the name could even pop up in your head, the door had bursted open "Joel!"
The familiar brunette head had launched forward at him, this completely took him back and he rose from his seat- just in time to catch her. "Hey, kid." He had only laughed, ruffling her hair. It feels like too long since you've seen Ellie. Life must be hard as a sixteen year old, and your dad an international superstar, you had thought to yourself.
"Hey, Elles." You had beamed at the girl, pulling her into a tight hug once she was done with Joel. Even though the two of you weren't related, you were extremely close (well, when she had decided not to be a moody teenager). You and Joel had decided to take Ellie in when one of your family friend's had passed away, as a newborn. You had adopted Ellie not long after, and had considered her your own daughter.
The three of you had sat down and talked for a while, Ellie going into detail about the book she was creating for her finals project- some joke book of sorts, as per usual. Time had flown when you were spending time with the people you loved. Before you knew it, people were coming up to collect your husband.
"Aw, fuck! Just another five minutes- I'm sure these lovely Texans won't mind, Joel'ly boy-" Joel shook his head, helping you up from the seat. "There's a seat front row reserved for ya', now be a good girl'n go sit." He had told Ellie so casually. All she did was groan, letting a 'fine' escape her lips and exiting the room before any of the rest of you (she knew she wouldn't get far if she fought Joel on this). It was almost like Ellie was complaining on sitting front row at a sold out venue, with eighty thousand other people dying for the seats she got given to her.
You had tsked, followed with a quick laugh. Joel placed one of his hands on the bottom of your back, guiding you out of the room. His hand removed from your back once you were in a nice and big hallway, linking his fingers between yours. You could feel the nervous energy from him more than he thought.
"This ain't your first rodeo, baby. You'll knock their cowboy hats off." You made the remark to Joel, the two of you were getting closer and closer to the crowd of people. He could only squeeze your hand and give you a peck on the forehead. He knew everything would be fine, but the thought was always in the back of his head. "I'll be fine, sweetheart. You, on the other hand- ya'gotta worry 'bout not throwin' yourself all on me out there."
There was the man you recognized, the prideful and charismatic cowboy. "I'll hold myself back until you're done, I suppose." You made the small remark, pulling his arm as you sped up. "The time's cutting close- we're walking too slow." Your arm was almost painfully yanked back (he didn't mean to, Joel was too in the moment right now). "Show ain't startin' without me, now is it?"
You had turned to face your man, your Joel. The paparazzi pictures didn't do him justice, he was so much hotter in person. Your eyes had went from scattering to everything around, to focusing on the big, brown eyes in front of you. You had inched your face just a tad bit closer, enough for Joel to hear the hitch in your breath when you spoke to him. "It ain't."
He could only smirk at your words, wanting to do so much more but there was no time. His hand found its way to the back of your neck as he pulled you into a kiss. You, of course, complied, leaning in and fighting for dominance (just like earlier). This came to an end when you heard Joel's name being called from somewhere behind the two of you - his face fell from in front of yours. "We'll finish this after, yeah?"
You could only nod, a small smile rising to your face. You didn't have to worry about it not happening, Joel would make any and every time slot available for you. Your hands were still connected with one another, so you had continued to walk with Joel as he approached the stage. You two had went into a makeshift cover, so nobody would see him approaching (they would go even more feral).
As the lights in the stadium started to dim, indicating he was about to step out on stage, the crowd went insane. Your hand left his, and moved to cup his cheek. He was staring out into the crowd, but you brought his focus down to you. "Go kill 'em, cowboy."
Joel's expression went from unsure, to confident in a blink of an eye. He had nodded his head, "Ya' got it, princess." Joel's guitar tech, Dina (you think it was), had brought his guitar over. You barely played any instrument, but god this guitar was gorgeous. Joel had scored a nice deal with Fender a year or two ago and made a nice custom guitar with his collab. Joel had slung the guitar strap over his shoulder, strumming the strings to make sure everything was in tune (it was, that's why Dina was here, this was just a superstition he had).
The man in front of you had turned around, facing the stage. He was as ready as he could ever be- so were you. Everyone apart of the Joel Miller team around you seemed to be having a heart attack, just because of the stress and everything leading up to this moment, though. You could hear, clear as day, an inhale and exhale from Joel's mouth, before he walked out on that stage.
Everyone around had went silent, except the crowd. It was even louder than before, which you didn't think was possible. Soon enough, you heard (barely, through the crowd) Joel's voice throughout the stadium. He had started with the first song on his setlist, 'Wyoming' - a definite personal favourite. You were so proud of him, and hoped he knew. He put so much, if not more, work into this than anyone else had, so he deserved to have the best time. Your cowboy deserved the world and more.
It was near the end of the show, the setlist of forty-something songs had gone by quick. Everyone (especially you, with a few drinks in your system) had let loose, and were having a great time. Joel was definitely having the most fun, almost completely sober too. He finished strumming his guitar to the second last song, before the crowd erupted into cheers and claps. Honestly, other than venues like this, you had never seen so much country folk. If there was one thing country folk could agree on, it was music.
"Alright, now. Before the las' song o' the night-" Joel was cut off by a bunch of disappointed people booing (the only time booing was understandable). He had laughed, swatting his hand around. "I know, I know. But, before it all comes t'an end, I gotta introduce someone to y'all." Gasps and excited screams were heard from all around.
Joel had turned his head to search for you beside the stage, his eyes panning everyone- until he met your gaze. It was hard to determine if it were you for a split second, just because the lights out in the open were extremely blinding. "Now, some'o y'all might just know 'bout this, might just know who this is," He brought his hand up, signalling for you to come out.
You only shook your head, you couldn't believe he was doing this. "Hey, uh-" you turned to some random crew member around, "-can you hold my drink? Thanks." Before a response was given, you handed it over and moved your way over to the stage entrance. You could only brace yourself for what was about to happen to you. "Come on out, little lady."
The lights were very blinding, he was so right. You had also went temporarily deaf from everyone screaming their hearts out at you. You didn't realize you were such a hot commodity around these places. If the screams weren't loud from when you walked out, they sure as hell were loud when Joel pulled you into a kiss. It was actually insane- you couldn't believe it. Your mind was racing, both from the anxiety and the thrill.
You turned now, to face the crowd. Joel's arm fell around your shoulder as you grabbed the microphone stand and adjusted it to your height. "So many beautiful faces 'round this crowd." There were a few girls dead centre in the front who were screaming and crying, waving up to you. Your heart completely melted, you wished you could just jump down and embrace them.
"Now," Joel had started as the crowd hushed, dropping his head to be able to reach the top of the microphone, "Ain't nobody go gawkin' at her, ya' can't have her." This caused an in-sync laugh to escape both yours and Joel's lips. He had found his way to the necklace dangling just above your chest, playing with it between his thumb and index finger (from the arm that was wrapped around your neck).
"Jokes aside, now, this little lady's gonna help with the closer." The nickname, you swore it did something to you. You had brought your head up, mouth right beside Joel's ear. "Ya' know I can't play for the life of me, Joel." He could only smirk at this comment, he was nowhere near trying to embarass you with this- he only wanted you to live it up, just like he was.
Joel ignored your comment and brought his head down to the mic once again, "She said she cannot wait to play!" This was in fact not what you had said, so this earned a slap on Joel's chest from you. He had removed his arm from around you, now standing straight on. He took his guitar off from around him, and slid the strap over your head. You couldn't help but smile at Joel, despite the fake-angry look you tried to maintain.
"Ya' got the rhythm'n chords down, don't worry." Joel had reminded you, his love language most definitely being words of affirmation. Before he had started to adjust the strap so the guitar sit perfectly on you, you slid the hair elastic he had always kept for you off of his wrist, and started to tie your hair back and out of your face. A few people who were close up noticed this, and blew a few whistles over to the two of you.
"I'll count us in, 'kay?" He hummed, and you nodded. Your eyes slid up the neck of the guitar as you stepped up with Joel, beside the microphone now. Joel's 'Cowboy' was the closing song, definitely the fan favourite from all his music throughout the years. You knew this song like the back of your hand, even without practice, you'd be fine.
Whenever he had counted himself in, it was three foot taps. He knew that you knew this. The entire stadium was silent, waiting to hear the last song choice.
One. Your eyes quickly fell down to the man's boots. His Black Jack Caiman Crocodile heels tapped the wooden floor. Joel's hands started to creep up the stand, his grip tightening once it hit the microphone.
Two. Your fingers from your right hand fell over the corresponding spots to be able to play the song. Your left hand found its way down to the middle of the guitar, ready to strum away.
Three. Joel inhaled, you inhaled, you both exhaled in sync. It was now or never, in front of eighty thousand people, streamed for the entire world to hear.
Luckily it wasn't just you playing, the backtrack was also able to be heard in unity with you playing and Joel singing. You were far too concentrated at multitasking (with the chords and the strumming) to hear Joel singing, or the crowd cheering for you, or even your own thoughts. But, before you knew it, you strummed your last beat.
An exhale left your lips rather quickly, as if you were holding it in the entire time. You just looked to Joel, and he looked back at you. Both of you had drowned out the sounds of screaming coming from every single nook and cranny of the arena from around you.
You wanted nothing more then to spend your nights just like this, with Joel, with your cowboy - and in everything he had loved, you were in the centre of it. He didn't want it any other way, he wanted to spend every breathing moment of his life with you, even if it was in front of the entire world to see. You were his partner in crime, you were his cowgirl.

He is not afraid of being awkward, believing that it is better to take social risks than to not try to make connections or engage with others. While his social battery is higher than that of his system mates, it is not infinite, and he is aware of his limitations once he knows them and always plans accordingly. One of Don's interests is Japanese culture, including history, music, anime, food, and video games. Scandal alert!
This is a magazine cover for a music and entertainment mag called Photo Music, featuring actors Lee Jong Won (above) and Ha Hee Ra (below)
Lee Jong Won debuted that year and Ha Hee Ra was on her way transitioning from teenage stardom to a serious adult acting career. Do note, that in 1987, she met Choi Soo Jong (then a rookie actor) when she was 18, and he started dating her - secretly - around 1988 onwards until their marriage in 1993.
Do you notice something in the headlines of the magazine?
Right next to Hee Ra's picture, goes : "Choi Soo Jong - Shin Yoon Jung's dating (lover) declaration"
... WHAT?
I understand no one in the industry knew him and Hee Ra were a thing and so published this article like with any other regular celebrity.
But... bro. You are dating a girl. You shouldn't get seen around other women! Oh, the absolute irony of seeing CHOI SOO JONG a.k.a. picture perfect too good to be true husband having a "lover declaration" going around on the same magazine that his wife is on, WHILE he was dating her.
While he forbade her to go to college meetups and outings. WHILE he picked her from college everyday like a child. WHILE he made sure he visits her on every drama set t "see what she's doing".
I know tabloids and magazines talked a lot, a LOT of trash. This could also potentially be some sort of shitty rumour going on. Like, he could be absolutely innocent tbh and I'm not giving him the benefit of doubt. That seems like the most logical thing, and I feel bad to talk trash about a man that probably singlehandedly replaced couples therapy in Korea
But yeah. I wouldn't want to be Heera in this situation. I wouldn't want to see this especially as a young actress, woman, girlfriend. This just sucks and I really find it such a shitty thing to do from the magazine.

Alright! Finally something that isn’t The Fast and the Furious!
Back to superhero films.
Jaime Reyes came back from college graduation to find his family is broke and is about to be evicted by the corrupt Kord Industries. He and his sister Milagro pick up minimum wage jobs, which they quickly lose; but not before Jaime leaves a good impression on heiress Jenny Kord, daughter of disappeared tech billionaire Ted Kord. She offers a meetup for a job at the family company (which is now run by her aunt, Ted’s sister, Victoria Kord, who has turned into a militarized and corrupt corporation), but when Jaime finds her, she’s just taken something out of the lab and asks him to hide it.
Of course, Jaime opens the box (at his family’s urging), and it turns out to be the Scarab, which quickly activates and fuses to his spine, creating an alien super suit. However! Victoria Kord will stop at nothing to get that Scarab, as she plans to use it to help her super cybernetic soldier program. Now Jaime and his family will have to figure out how the Scarab works, how to disconnect it, and most importantly, how to survive.
This film was originally produced to be released only on HBO Max, but with the shake ups at Warner/DC/Discovery/HBO, it was shifted to a theatrical release. Perhaps this was to try to avoid the backlash that came from canceling Batgirl? I don’t know. It’s not expected to do well financially, and thus far, it really hasn’t, though I’ve seen good reviews. But I have a soft spot for Jaime Reyes, so I wanted to give this movie a go.
Admittedly, this movie feels a lot like a made-for-TV movie, just with a much higher budget. The main criticism that’s come up in reviews is that this movie is a stereotypical superhero origin story. And that’s true! In terms of actual Plot, there’s not much that makes this different from a dozen other superhero stories that you’ve seen before. When this was an HBO Max original, that is a lot less egregious, but as a theatrical release it’s a little frustrating. The difference (and one that most reviews also bring up) is that this is a Hispanic superhero, and the movie’s emphasis on his identity is a highlight that makes this movie memorable.
How many Hispanic superheroes have been shown in live-action theatrical films? Not a lot! And certainly not that many that shine so brightly on issues that Hispanic people face today–gentrification, not being taken seriously, and being constantly stereotyped. These are things that theatrical superhero movies rarely touch on, and I can’t think of any that make it a thematic focal point.
And it’s not just doom-and-gloom! There are a bunch of really fun shout-outs to Hispanic pop culture that stick out to people in the know–from Selena music to Hispanic superhero media. There’s a few references to El Chapulín Colorado, and while some people laughed because it was silly, at least one person in my theater was guffawing because he definitely got the reference.
A quibble, though, but a big one: the whole thing about the Reyes family is that they’re all so together and strong because of it. They’re a loving family. And yet all of the family’s struggles are news to Jaime when he arrives back home–the family business closing, the upcoming eviction, his father’s health problems: he didn’t know about any of them! If Jaime having been distant from his family and having to repair his relationship was his character arc for the movie, then yeah, it works. But it isn’t–that he’s completely blind to their problems is a non-issue in the long run, and it feels wrong with how important family is to the story’s themes.
The worldbuilding reminds me a little of Black Adam in that this is a world with history, especially with superheroes. Jaime’s uncle is a fan of the Blue Beetle, and brings up Superman. While the reaction to the Scarab’s extraterrestrial nature is alarm and surprise, no one expresses disbelief. In a world with superheroes, these things are apparently not too unbelievable.
The Scarab feels a bit weird to me. I guess this is in part because my exposure to Jaime Reyes is Young Justice, in which the Scarab has a specific, robotic personality that’s hyper violent and has to be reigned in. The Scarab also turns out to be an agent of the Reach, an alien nation bent on galactic conquest. The Scarab of the movie ends up bonding with Jaime and connecting to his brain, and so some of its dialogue at the end uses Spanish and slang, which felt jarring to me. Maybe that makes sense for the character in the movie–they’re mentally bonded, after all. But it just seems weird to me from my experiences with the character.
The villains are… functional, I guess? Victoria Kord is a bit over-the-top, but given the world right now, a villain running a technology corporation maybe should be over-the-top. That’s kind of how life is sometimes with these people–as is their disdain for those not useful to her. Carapax is a bit more, though I think the movie waits too long to give him his much-needed depth. If we got stronger hints of that earlier, I’d have appreciated it more.
There is an odd bit with the soundtrack that stuck out to me. It's fine, mostly, but the part where Jaime fully bonds with the Scarab has swelling, heroic music playing. What makes it strange is that this is also while Carapax is getting his full powers, and we're shown him powering up at the same time, and the music continues its heroic tones.
It's just a weird juxtaposition, with the music going the way it does.
Overall, it’s a fun movie, though it’s not hitting too many unfamiliar beats. The main draw here is how unapologetically Hispanic the movie is. But after years of continuity-heavy superhero films, and several attempts to tell stories about the multiverse, a back-to-basics approach to a superhero movie is appreciated. I liked it. It isn’t blowing my mind, but it’s a good movie to watch if you’ve got the time.

music producer! aki would be such a vibe. I’ve been thinking about this for like a week and I resigned myself to accepting that Aki would probably never be an artist but I love music sm so I will force it by any means! Anyways….
Aki is an extremely loving, devoted and kind soul but he expresses his affection through his actions/acts of service. I don’t think verbally expressing his feelings is his strength. I imagine music being the perfect medium for him to express everything that he feels within without words, utilizing the universal language to reveal the profound emotions that lay dormant within his soul.
I don’t think Aki seeks fame or notoriety so he’d be that one producer behind all your favorite songs but nobody really knows who he is… It’s the allure for me. I can so see him with an underground fanbase that zooms in on celebrity studio pics and you just see Aki’s topknot sticking out and we’re like “THAT’S OUR MAN!” and the girlies make edits of that. There’d be such a sexy mystery surrounding him and who he is. He’d serve us once in a blue moon with the hair down look. Badboy Aki knows what he’s doing FR
I envision him being really active in the underground rock, metal and rap scene. But he’d always give smaller artists a chance. He’d definitely be versatile too like don’t act like he ain’t produce ur favorite pop song. He’s just skilled like that 💋
Winter instrumental album in Hokkaido that gets sampled in every song like???? Hair down, graphic t, (key word) BOYFRIEND jeans, black converse, silver earrings and rings but without the t shirt, jeans and converse is such a lewk
Concert date, studio date, him making you songs, singing to you at night, playing guitar to you and other devious business *wink*
I rest my case.
I GET IT I SEE IIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT
I always think about what kind of music aki would listen to, I think he likes softer stuff but he's into some rock as well. he really likes anything as long as it has a good sound to it. gaaaah and aki making music to express how he feels is such a perfect idea I love it so much, I think it really does fit!!!
as a music producer, he's pretty talented and his work is really recognizable. he's been making music ever since he was younger; he got super into it because it was somewhat of a coping mechanism after he lost his family. he gets hired often and he has a hard time turning down any job because he wants to experience as much as he can. he'll make beats for any genre of music, in any sort of style, but he really likes when he gets to make something sweeter, something that's more true to himself.
when he makes the rare original song, it's instantly a hit — not in the way that it's super popular but more like it resonates with a lot of people immediately. he rarely sings or adds vocals to his music (he prefers to use other people's vocals) but when he does... whew.....
he's kind of elusive cause he doesn't go to a lot of parties or meetups and tends to keep to himself. he's well respected by everyone but no-one in the industry really knows the real him or anything about his personal life. they know some tidbits, but not enough to really call aki a friend. I'm thinking of aki who has his hair half-up and wears casual band tees and has his ears all pierced... maybe some other piercings too... perhaps lip piercing or eyebrow piercing... GAH
you see him play in person at a set once and you're just like... wow. sometimes he djs or plays guitar for local events and he rarely talks to anyone there but he's super good at what he does and always seems so focused. you're pretty intimidated by him, in all honesty, but he's actually really kind once you get the chance to talk to him. you catch him while he's having a smoke outside the building, you compliment his playing and he says thank you, he's glad you enjoyed it.
omg thinking about his social media... he definitely has a faceless pfp and literally never posts pictures of himself so the rare pictures of him are just ones that other artists have uploaded when they took selfies with him. he never posts anything personal either, his posts are just so business-y and serious lolol
boyfriend music artist aki who will turn and smile at you when you're watching him from backstage... who not-so-subtly writes songs about you... who's a little shy when it comes to his singing voice but he'll sing you to sleep any time you ask him... who will have you feature as background vocals in his latest song and make everyone wonder who's voice it was..... he's intimidating to everyone else but to you he's the absolute sweetest
#SORRY I SAID A LOT BUT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALL THIS#HE WOULD BE SO COOL LIKE THAT SO COOLLLL#my brain is stuck on aki in an oversized band tee with multiple piercings I'm#ask mags#aki <3

I really wanted more fashion content from harry and Taylor R :(
What do you make (if anything) of that People “exclusive” abt how serious they were (which just parroted earlier articles) and then them breaking up 2 weeks later? Even if I give it the benefit of the doubt as a 100% real rs (which I don’t believe) that seems at best a delay tactic (but why say anything if things are shaky?) and at worst real sloppy (oops we forgot to tell the publicist that our super serious rs ended…huh?). In any case, hope she is thriving!
Oh, man, MEEEEEEE, I love her fashion so much, especially the casual wear, we were robbed! As for People et al., I stg, that mag and its ilk are textbook pre-AI in the sense that they ALWAYS write this fill-in-the-blank garbage for every celeb relationship in the world, I would bet cold cash they have a template, here, I'll do it for the one from a month ago, with the pair still going strong(1DTM), but the breakups, meetups, etc., are equally easy (how do I know? I'm cursed with a print People mag subscription I literally cannot stop/do not pay for):
"Nearly a year after they were first linked as an item, male celeb name and female celeb name are still going strong.
The movie/TV/music award winner, age, was first spotted with the recognizable movie/TV/music actress/singer, age, in month year — and now an industry source tells PEOPLE that the couple are making it work.
“They are fairly serious and have traveled together. They do spend time in country one/both are from,” the source says.
The insider adds that male celeb is a “private person,” and he and female celeb “have the same interests.”
“She has carved a life for herself and worked toward doing what she wanted,” the source says of female celeb. “She is talented.”
The "name of latest hit song" singer and female celeb were first linked in month year, and she was spotted the next month doing an appropriate/innocuous activity in someplace that a thousand other people were doing the same thing related to the male celeb's job."
Magique!

Furry fandom history is also something that should be extensively documented. Anyone who doesn't recognize furry culture as important to society is stupid at this point, a huge amount of people participate in this niche and previously underground community with its own history and culture that permeates basically all creative industries. And tech. Lots of tech. The history of how we got here and who came before us is important. It's important to see how expressionism in painting developed, how science fiction as a genre developed, how early films experimented with techniques, those things have cultural relevance! And, quite frankly, so does the niche funny talking animal comics from the 70s-90s made by total unknown randos for the love of the thing that shaped another generation of dedicated weirdos that would, again, irrefutably affect all creative industries and the culture surrounding them. Excluding furry stuff is like saying "I study music history, except for country, that's not real music." You're just being pedantic. Reading about furry history is really truly fascinating too honestly, there is a LOT of queer cultural involvement, too. Something I find interesting in a lot of early furry spaces is that queer people were always present, and with the community so small and interwoven, if you chose not to interact with or to outright offend the queer members of the community... You would lose access to a lot of community spaces and content. So it sort of fostered this unusually tolerant space, where you have straight people and queer people creating content- lots of extremely horny content where sexuality is obviously extremely relevant and overt! Together in a way it would be unusual to see in other places for years. And an openness about it- people openly speaking about being gay or transvestites or their kinks in spaces that weren't exclusively queer- straight peers joining in those same conversations to say oh, yeah, that artist did a great comic I liked too, so glad they're bi lol. How fascinating that is to see honestly, those really really early meetups full of openly and visibly queer people and straight people expressing themselves together because they're so deep into a niche and embarrassing hobby thst there's no shame left between them to feel. How can you judge your neighbor for being gay when you draw a comic about a big tittied skunk girl? It doesn't matter.
It's that really really early stuff I really enjoy seeing. That's the stuff I think of when I'm archiving old tf stuff. This small and interwoven insular community has such a rich history that deserves to be remembered.

Academic Atmosphere
Some of the best institutions, like IBS Hyderabad and Hyderabad's BBA colleges, are well-equipped with modern learning setups. Classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, which makes the study engaging and interactive. Faculty members become mentors, guiding students with books and supporting their career ambitions. Guest lectures, workshops, and seminars attended by industry experts give students actual reality and enhance business acumen.
Student Clubs and Societies
Life in general is well-cultivated on the campus with student-run clubs and societies. For business-minded students, entrepreneurship clubs help validate and work on ideas in front of potential investors while competing in startup pitches. Cultural and social clubs allow festivals and art events to blossom alongside volunteering in a lively and inclusive campus atmosphere where students can bond and unwind. Sports also play a huge role in developing physical well-being and teamwork.
Campus Activities and Events
Annual fests and competitions form a very significant part of campus events. Cultural fests get students to come together with their music, dance, and food, while business competitions let them display their case analysis, marketing, and strategy skills. Colleges also organise career fairs where students connect with companies and alumni meetups that open doors for mentorship and job referrals. Field trips to industries and businesses will provide opportunities for experiences by linking knowledge learnt in the classroom to real-life applications.

I really appreciate duality of life. Even though it can be difficult I think it is really beautiful. I don't know if that is ok and I obviously don't like being in the tough times but I appreciate the jounrey through it because it is a test. I appreciate the test because I want to be great and I can't get through to my truth without these things.
I am just trying to grapple with being a woman. I am learning to love myself.
i belive that i have potential to be apart of the story, of this big story. Of th history story. IDK why. I don't know if it is fueled out of negative intentions of wanting attention but I also belive that I am strong and can bring positivity, love, and justice to everyone. I think it may be both. I'm not sure yet I have to figure it out.
I am in a current lul period of my life where I am locking in to myself. I am committed to being better, mentally, spiritually. I cannot become this great thing, I cannot become somebodty without defining myself. and I must learn about myself and love myself, and yes everyuthing is a process but this is neccessary for me to make a change. I want to get my name everywhere because I want to be the change I see in the world. I want to use my woman'lyness to bring people in to me and show them something beautiful and though it may not last. i want my prescenece to leave something beautiful in thier minds. Mayhbe it won't be instantaneous but I want to try. I want to emulate love, justice, and respect! I must define those for myself first.
I must take this time to figure myself out spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally and preparre myself for my career where I want to change the world. Potentially be famous and share my love with everyone. For now i must breathe and relax for this time to come.
THE PLAN
Focus on Self-Growth and Self-Discovery:
Daily Reflection: Spend time each day journaling or meditating on your emotions, goals, and values. This helps solidify your sense of identity and purpose. Use this to clarify your thoughts about duality, love, and justice—what these mean to you personally and how they shape your outlook.
Explore Your Spiritual Side: Dedicate time to spiritual growth. Read books, attend seminars, or engage in discussions on topics that resonate with you, such as faith, meditation, or philosophy. Since you're grappling with duality and life's challenges, consider studying works that deal with resilience and spiritual growth.
Self-Care and Fitness: Develop habits that align with your desire to improve physically, emotionally, and mentally. This could include yoga, fitness routines, or therapy—whatever supports a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Network and Build Connections in Marketing & Entertainment:
Internships and Networking: Take advantage of your location at UMass Amherst and your network at Isenberg to gain internships, especially in marketing, entertainment, or the music industry. Attend industry-related events, conferences, and meetups to connect with professionals.
Mentorship: Seek a mentor in the entertainment industry who can provide insight and guidance. A mentor who understands your ambition to combine creativity with justice, love, and leadership will be invaluable.
Entrepreneurship Club: As part of the Entrepreneurship Club, initiate or participate in projects that bridge your marketing and film skills. This can help you test your ability to lead and express your vision while building a portfolio of creative work.
Develop Your Personal Brand:
Social Media Strategy: Start crafting your personal brand on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, where you can showcase your journey, ideas, and creative projects. Align your posts with your values—love, justice, and respect—and let your creativity shine.
Start a Blog/Channel: Consider starting a blog or YouTube channel where you document your growth journey, reflecting on duality, womanhood, and your aspirations. This can help you connect with a broader audience and attract people who resonate with your message.
Skill Development in Film, Marketing, and Data Analytics:
Hone Your Creative and Analytical Skills: Continue building your expertise in marketing and film studies while working toward your 4+1 in Business Data Analytics. These skills will be essential in your career, especially in the entertainment or music industry.
Creative Projects: Actively work on film or marketing projects where you can express your ideas and vision. This is essential for building a portfolio that you can present to potential employers in the creative industries.
Internships in Big Cities:
Summer Internships in New York, LA, or Boston: Use your summer breaks to work in entertainment hubs like NYC or LA. Even if you're unsure of your exact direction, being in these environments will help you build relevant connections.
City Exploration: Spend time in cities you're interested in, immersing yourself in the culture and understanding the industries. Explore what it’s like to live there, build your contacts, and attend industry events.

20-Year Plan (Vision for Your Future)
5–10 Years: Establishing Yourself in Your Career
Early Career (5–10 Years):
Industry Entry: After graduation, aim to enter the entertainment, film, or music industry. Whether through marketing, content creation, or data analytics, build a foundation that combines your creative and analytical strengths. You could work for agencies, media companies, or even record labels where you can apply your marketing and film background.
Fostering Creativity and Social Justice: Continue exploring how to merge your career with your values of justice and love. Look for roles in projects or organizations that align with your vision of making a positive impact on the world.
Start Personal Projects: As you settle into your career, launch personal projects that align with your broader mission. This could be a documentary series on justice and womanhood, or starting a non-profit initiative that uses creative content to drive social change.
Public Speaking and Advocacy: Leverage your growing influence to speak on issues you're passionate about—whether through social media, public engagements, or writing. Use your voice to advocate for justice and equality, blending your creative side with your desire to lead change.
10–20 Years: Building a Legacy
Middle Career (10–15 Years):
Entrepreneurial Ventures: Consider launching your own business, whether it’s a creative agency, production company, or non-profit focused on justice, empowerment, or creative storytelling. By this time, you will have built enough industry experience and connections to establish your own brand or company.
Media and Film Production: Start producing larger creative projects—films, documentaries, or major campaigns—that express your vision. Focus on content that tackles societal issues like justice, equality, and empowerment, using your platform to create meaningful change.
Visibility and Fame: By this stage, if fame or broader recognition is part of your journey, you will have built a significant public presence. Your work in media, film, and marketing should align with your mission to spread love and justice. Use this influence responsibly, staying grounded in your core values.
Later Career (15–20 Years):
Global Influence: Continue expanding your career and influence, making international connections and working on larger projects that can impact the world. You may be a speaker, media personality, or creative director with a significant platform by this time.
Legacy of Empowerment: Focus on mentoring younger people, particularly women, helping them find their paths and embrace their power and identity. You may lead initiatives that create opportunities for others, solidifying your legacy as someone who contributed to justice, love, and positive change.
Guiding Principles for the Journey:
Patience: Understand that personal and professional growth takes time. Use this “lull period” to lock in on your personal development, so when the time comes, you’re ready to make a larger impact.
Balance: Be mindful of balancing your ambition with the importance of inner peace. Take the time to care for yourself emotionally and spiritually to prevent burnout as you work toward your goals.
Self-Awareness: Continue to reflect on your motivations. Keep asking yourself why you want to be part of the "big story" and how your intentions align with bringing positivity and justice to the world.
Authenticity: Stay true to who you are as a woman, as an aspiring leader, and as someone who values love and justice. Define success on your own terms, not by external validation.
1. Acknowledge the Duality as Part of Being Human
Embrace Imperfection: Everyone has aspects of themselves they love and others they struggle with. Recognizing that this duality is part of the human experience is the first step to inner peace. You don’t have to be perfect or fully consistent to be worthy of love—especially your own.
Acceptance, Not Suppression: Often, we try to suppress the parts of ourselves that we dislike, but this leads to inner conflict. Instead, practice acknowledging and accepting those parts. Understand that they exist for a reason—whether due to past experiences, fears, or insecurities. You don’t have to love every part of yourself right away, but you can start by acknowledging them with compassion rather than judgment.
2. Practice Self-Compassion
Talk to Yourself with Kindness: How you speak to yourself matters. When you find yourself being overly critical or hating certain parts of your character, practice talking to yourself like you would a close friend. Be gentle, understanding, and kind.
Forgive Yourself: Understand that growth is a process, and everyone makes mistakes or has aspects of their character they are working on. Forgive yourself for not always being who you want to be. You can strive for improvement while still loving who you are right now.
3. Understand the Purpose of Duality
Strength Through Opposition: Duality often leads to inner tension, but it can also be a source of strength. Your conflicting traits or emotions may actually be balancing each other. For instance, your desire for attention and fame may push you to be seen, while your deeper desire for love and justice can help you stay grounded and true to your values.
Learn from Both Sides: Each aspect of yourself has something to teach you. The parts you dislike may show you where healing is needed, while the parts you love highlight your strengths. Try to explore both with curiosity. Instead of resisting or resenting the duality, see it as an opportunity to understand yourself better.
4. Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness: Practice being present with your thoughts and emotions without getting swept away by them. This helps you observe your internal struggles without reacting to them or identifying too closely with either side. When feelings of pride or self-hate arise, notice them, but don’t let them define you.
Meditation: Meditative practices like Loving-Kindness Meditation (where you direct love and compassion toward yourself) or Mindfulness Meditation can help create mental space between your emotions and your identity. You are more than just your thoughts or feelings; you are the observer of them.
5. Integrate, Don’t Eliminate
Holistic Self-Acceptance: Rather than trying to eliminate the parts of yourself you struggle with, work on integrating them into your sense of self. For example, you might feel like your desire for attention conflicts with your deeper goal of spreading love and justice. Instead of seeing these as opposing forces, find a way to let them work together. Your desire for recognition can be the vehicle that amplifies your message of love and positivity to the world.
See Yourself as Whole: Every person is a complex mix of traits, emotions, and desires. You are not just the parts you like, nor are you defined by the parts you dislike. See yourself as a whole being, constantly growing and evolving, with room for both light and shadow.
6. Engage in Shadow Work
Explore Your Shadow: Shadow work is about bringing the unconscious parts of yourself—the parts you might deny or dislike—into the light of awareness. This involves deep reflection, therapy, or journaling to explore why certain traits or behaviors emerge. By understanding their origin, you can begin to heal and integrate them.
Self-Acceptance Through Shadow Work: This process helps you accept the aspects of yourself that you’ve hidden or rejected. It teaches you that these traits may have developed as coping mechanisms or in response to life’s challenges, and they deserve compassion, not rejection.
7. Balance Self-Improvement with Self-Acceptance
Growth Without Guilt: It’s important to strike a balance between wanting to improve and accepting who you are right now. Inner peace doesn’t come from perfection but from embracing your journey toward growth, even with setbacks. It’s okay to strive to be better while still honoring your current self.
Celebrate Progress: Even small steps toward personal growth are worth celebrating. Recognize when you handle situations better than before, when you show kindness to yourself, or when you gain deeper insight into your duality. Each step forward brings you closer to inner peace.
8. Surround Yourself with Support
Connect with People Who Understand: Share your journey with trusted friends, mentors, or therapists who can offer support and perspective. Sometimes, talking through your struggles with duality helps you see that others also experience similar inner conflicts, which can lessen the burden.
Find Role Models: Look for people who embody the kind of self-acceptance and balance you seek. This could be public figures, spiritual leaders, or people in your life who have faced similar struggles and found peace.
Key Points to Remember:
Duality Is Part of You: Both the parts of yourself that you love and the parts you struggle with are equally valuable. Together, they make you the unique, multifaceted person you are.
Self-Awareness Leads to Peace: The more you understand why you feel certain ways about yourself, the easier it becomes to accept and integrate those feelings.
Patience with the Process: Accepting the duality of your character won’t happen overnight. Be patient with yourself, and know that inner peace comes through continual reflection, growth, and self-compassion.
By embracing both the light and shadow within you, you’ll grow into a more complete, authentic version of yourself, finding inner peace in the process.

How to Get More Listeners for Your Music through Music Blogs and Press Coverage
Securing coverage in music blogs and press can elevate your music's visibility and attract new listeners. Effective PR strategies can help you reach a broader audience and gain credibility in the industry. With the proliferation of music blogs, online magazines, and digital media platforms, there's a vast opportunity to get your music in front of new ears. This article will guide you through the steps to get more listeners for your music through music blogs and press coverage.
1. Identify Relevant Blogs: The first step is to identify music blogs and publications that cater to your genre and style. Research and compile a list of blogs that feature artists similar to you. Pay attention to the tone, style, and type of content they publish. Resources like Hype Machine, SubmitHub, and Indie on the Move can help you discover relevant blogs and their submission guidelines.
2. Craft a Compelling Pitch: A personalized and engaging pitch is crucial for grabbing the attention of music bloggers and journalists. Start with a compelling subject line that clearly states what you're offering. In the body of your email, introduce yourself and provide a brief background on your music. Highlight what makes your latest release unique and why it would interest their readers. Be concise and avoid long-winded emails. Always include links to your music, social media, and a high-quality press photo.
3. Send Press Releases: Press releases are essential for announcing new music releases, tours, and other significant events. A well-written press release should include a headline, release date, and a detailed description of your news. Add quotes from yourself or collaborators, and include links to your music, videos, and social media profiles. Distribute your press release to relevant blogs, local newspapers, and online magazines. Services like PR Newswire and Indie Music PR can help with broader distribution.
4. Build Relationships with Journalists: Networking with music journalists and bloggers can lead to more consistent coverage. Follow them on social media, engage with their content, and share their articles. Attend music industry events, conferences, and networking meetups to connect with journalists in person. Building genuine relationships can make them more likely to feature your music in the future.
5. Utilize Press Kits: An electronic press kit (EPK) is a comprehensive package that provides all the necessary information about you and your music. An EPK should include a biography, high-resolution photos, music samples, music videos, press releases, and links to your social media and website. Make sure your EPK is easily accessible and can be downloaded from your website or shared via a link. An EPK simplifies the process for journalists, making it easier for them to write about you.
6. Leverage User-Generated Content: Encourage your fans to write reviews and blog posts about your music. User-generated content can be a powerful endorsement and provide social proof to potential new listeners. Create incentives for your fans to share their thoughts, such as featuring their reviews on your social media or website. The more people talk about your music, the more likely it is to catch the attention of bloggers and journalists.
7. Offer Exclusives: Offering exclusive content to specific blogs can entice them to feature your music. This could be an exclusive premiere of a new single, a behind-the-scenes video, or an interview. Exclusives make the blog feel special and can increase the chances of them promoting your music more extensively. Ensure that the exclusive content is high quality and aligns with the blog's audience.
8. Pitch for Interviews and Features: Interviews and feature articles provide a deeper look into your music and personality, helping to build a connection with potential listeners. When pitching for interviews, suggest specific angles or topics that align with the blog’s style. Be prepared to share interesting stories, insights about your creative process, and your journey as an artist. Personal stories resonate well with readers and can make your music more memorable.
9. Participate in Blog-Hosted Events: Many music blogs host events, competitions, or online showcases. Participating in these events can increase your visibility and connect you with a broader audience. Keep an eye on blogs' announcements and participate whenever relevant opportunities arise. Whether it's a virtual concert, a songwriting contest, or a music festival, getting involved can open new doors for exposure.
10. Maintain Professionalism and Follow-Up: Professionalism is key when dealing with music bloggers and journalists. Always be polite, respectful, and appreciative of their time and effort. If you don't receive a response to your pitch, a polite follow-up can sometimes make the difference. Keep your follow-up brief, reiterate your interest, and thank them for considering your submission. Building a reputation as a professional and courteous artist can enhance your chances of getting featured.
Conclusion: Press coverage and music blog features can significantly increase your listener base. By identifying relevant blogs, crafting compelling pitches, building relationships with journalists, and offering exclusives, you can gain valuable exposure and attract new fans. Consistently working on your PR strategy and maintaining professionalism will help you build a strong media presence and grow your music career.
