The shock was something he paid half a mind to as he fixed up his tie once more. A small tilt of the head with his own brow raised as the hands left his tie and moved behind his back.

"Yes, I am the Vice President of Hyperion itself. I hope it's not an inconvenience of sorts. I deal in Mercenary Relations and it was determined by the CEO that it would be best if I overviewed the weapons deal."

Now his hands moved to be in front, a hand wave to the other man to make himself comfortable as he picked up a few documents on the table in front of him. Reading them over before placing them down with practiced neatness.

"Lets begin, shall we?"

Having dealt with Claptraps little 'Robolution', dealt with too much nonsense within Hyperion itself while trying to climb the ladder...

And yet nothing. Nothing. Had prepared him for this.

Hyperion technology had gone awry... Well, Atlas technology had gone awry. They'd merely tried to repurpose it and it had gone wrong.

As if not bad enough he could just feel everything was wrong. Like things had shifted. Placed somewhere new and unfamiliar.

At least his suit didn't seem out of place but... Where was he?! He didn't recognise these homes, these certainly weren't standard design.

A quiet sigh, brushing down the suit.

"Another day at Hyperion, another mess someone has to clean up... Why do I always get the short end of the stick."

"I wouldn't say ancient... But then again it's been a while since I last celebrated my own birthday, I'd say I'm in my late fourties now? But that's at a guess."

"But you're already ancient, aren't ya?"

"You snooze, you lose, then, I guess."

Blake may not LIKE handling weapons but that doesn't mean he can't handle them. Mf can score 100% in an accuracy test with them but would rather not use any weapons whatsoever.

He's a man that would like to use words > weapons any chance he gets.

He really, really didn't like that the fall of Helios was blamed on him.

It was not his fault! Then again, he wasn't ever really able to find out whose fault it was. They probably died in Helios' fall anyway.

And the fact that he was already willing to work beside Jack was... Embarrassing on his part. He'd imagined it a lot differently. Then again, Hyperion held his loyalty. By extension that meant Jack.

Dead or undead.

He just hoped Jack wasn't looking to order his death for these failures.

Another person warned of Hyperion’s imminent takeover, another he felt he could have gotten away with.

He was just wanting to be... Benevolent! These people didn’t need to be dead. And Jack...

Well, what could he do about a man who was so hellbent on tearing apart Pandora? Even now, back on Helios, he couldn’t help but believe Pandora was deserving of something more than all this drilling.

But that was clearly just him. And, well, sure Jack hasn’t been very approving of these trips to the surface of Pandora. He just wanted less deaths being placed on his own head...

He turned around in his office, straightening up the tie and fixing the suit that wasn’t stained by Pandoran dust before pausing.

Jack had come here to his office?!

Oh dear he was in trouble then... Unless he still had no clue about it.

Play it cool.

“I apologise sir did you need something from me?”

There was a new head of Hyperion.

He’d almost been outraged that he’d been skipped to take control of Hyperion, he’d been there for so long serving so loyally!

Yet here he was, having to work under another person. Oh well, it didn’t matter much to him. Really there was more possibilities to learn! Possibilities that were impossible with Jack and his nonsense...

At least, from what he’d heard so far, they were much nicer. Maybe it was the universe finally giving him a break from all the torment he’d endured from Jack.

Oh blessed be his chance at a break from everything.

“You called for me sir- ma’am. My apologies for that.”

Well, they were young. He wondered just how experienced they could be.

Damn, someone knew he wasn't from around here clearly. This was just going over swimmingly.

"You could say I'm lost."

He might as well be brutally honest... Perhaps he was still in the same galaxy or universe as Hyperion. What were the chances he was on some primitive world instead of one of the six known galaxies?

"Unfortunately there was an accident while the boys in R&D were working, I just so happened to be nearby... And now I'm here. I just need a shuttle to Helios that's hovering over Pandora at this current time and I won't be lost anymore. Where's the closest shuttle yard?"

Another fixing of the tie, more brushing down of his suit.

Ugh he hated how his suit looked out of place now with all this dirt.

That was a voice she had not heard before; she would know if she had. Then again, even here tourists were not a novelty, though she would have difficulty seeing what drew visitors to this part of the world specifically. Oh well, they better be prepared for the shitty weather.

"Ya lost?" Fíann could spot a fellow timetraveller from miles. "Or are y'lookin' for somethin'?" While she was, like usually, far from smiling, her voice betrayed curiosity, not hostility. It wasn't often they saw new faces. Might as well see what he was looking for...
