who is your muse’s favorite family member , if any - why ? ( @clonelyboy​ )

probably his uncle franklin , on his father’s side ; partially because he was the only one that paid him any mind as a child , and partially because was the most like-minded to him in the family. from what he’s heard , his paternal grandparents had a similar discipline style to what alistair was brought up with , which both of the men disagreed with passionately , and both were run through the military ringer , which is where their opinions differ - unlike alistair , his uncle actually enjoyed the lifestyle , and was second only to his own brother in ranking. because they were cut from similar cloth , alistair wasn’t allowed to have too much of a relationship with him as a boy , his parents fearing he’d start having ideas and opinions and such. while they began contact and began to have a fairly close relationship as alistair aged , he passed away when hammerlock was only 28 years old. he hopes he’d be proud of him. 

does your muse think they’d be a good parent ? ( @jakobscrest​ )

yes and no. he knows for certain he’d be better than his parents were , but they set the bar too low to quantify. alistair likes to think of himself as a fairly logical man , and looking at all his life’s experiences , he can’t see himself being an award winning father - he struggled at being a decent spouse at first , being a time bomb of wanderlust with irritabillity in his veins. by the time he feels he’d be ready to settle down completely , he might as well be dead , and he refuses to abandon a child because his number finally came up. he knows if he ever found himself in parenthood , he’d approach it the same way he’s approached everything - with passion and resepct and patience. he just doesn’t know if that’s enough. 

how important is family to your muse ? ( jakobscrest )

throw the whole clan away for all he’s concerned. they’ve never done anything but ignore him when he begged for help or trampled him down further - the extended family he’d never be anything but civil towards , but if he never had to see them again he doubts he’d care. his immediate family can respectfully go rot , though there is still a great weight of guilt and fear for thinking as much. the only family he cares about at this point is the one he’s created - those on sanctuary , the vault hunters , the man he’s chosen to be the husband of ( even , sometimes , claptrap ) - finding them was the greatest accomplishment of his life , and he’d sacrifice anything for them.

Well, really he hadn’t been expecting to be distracted from his trip. He was going to be going on a hunt later on that day and he wanted to prepared.

Well-stocked even!

He had plenty to spend just because of his dear Winny’s insistence but he was planning on spending as little as he could oh the items he was well-acquainted with.

So when he’d heard a familiar voice his brain wracked for possible answers of people it could belong to! Mostly people he hadn’t seen in so long. Old friends, old acquaintances

Who he wasn’t expecting was Innsmouth!

“Ah we meet again!” He placed back the item he was looking over with a hand of dismissal before heading over to the man. Excitement palpable!

“It’s been so long we really should have a chat!.. Last I heard you were a Professor are you still one? Oh well, doesn’t matter we can chat over drinks for it!”

He's KINDA terrified of Audrey. Mostly because she's a pseudo-siren and he has. Lots of trauma with that from Lilith. The fact he has to work alongside her ALSO doesn't help things. But the HC? Working alongside Audrey helps him get over that trauma because, well, she's young he can't hold it against HER and. Yeah they work great together. Actually finds himself relaxing when around Audrey.

Refuses to admit he's 'going soft'.

She's adopted by them. I can't hc past this she's just been adopted and they're gonna take such great care of her and spoil her and-

Would rather drop her off the face of the galaxy than deal with her. To him, she's a brat and he'd rather die than even look at her.

Slowly grows to like her for shenanigans though. He has never known 'fun' but her introducing it to him? Well he kinda likes it!

Yeah he'd be like. An older brother to her. Not exactly adopted but he's absolutely the type to laugh at whatever she did one minute and then defend her the next going "SHE'S DOING FUCKING GREAT AND YOU WILL SUPPORT HER TOO."

Honestly, best dynamic.

Would try to use her for his plans. Of course he's not really seeing it as such. It's necessary to him that he takes 'control' of her. After all, a witch is powerful in the right hands and while God may be disappointed in him for it, but he'll do anything to make the sinners repent and atone quicker.

Would be the one to condition her if Joseph gave her to him. Is it brutal? Sure. But it's the one thing he knows how to do well and it's making soldiers. And she'd be the most special soldier he's made.

Would teach her how to fly a plane. That's really it nothing special past that. And teaching her how to torture people should he be away. But mostly the plane flying.
