Have you seen Muppets retellings of many fairytales or novels? Some examples:

I have yes! Love me some Muppets, especially Muppet fairytales. I used to watch my Muppet Classic Theatre vhs were they retold several fairytales over and over xD Their Rumplestiltskin song (as played delightfully by Gonzo) still pops up in my head sometimes. And of course their versions of the Musicians of Bremen, Cinderella and The Frog Prince are utterly delightful

Their fairytale comics put out by Boom! Studios are also a ton of fun and I’d highly recommend them!

Comic Book Saturday

This was such a cute book, and quite a fun Muppet take on Peter Pan. There are quite a few differing parts, definitely one of them being the fact that there is no 'Indian' tribe in this (good call) and even the point of the story is a little bit on its side. I liked how Janice was used not just in the usual Wendy way, but also the Janice character from the Muppet Show got to show through as well. Not to mention, who can say no to a Captain Gonzo who --wants-- to be shot from a cannon? Heh…

Kermit sings and plays the banjo, yeah, but his whole deal is to be the weirdo who wrangles the weirdos. It's his passion to the point it's kinda hilarious (muppets Peter Pan comic ends with Kermit as Peter Pan offering to be their manager yall. That's his happy ending).

In Glitter n Gold, Jerrica was letting them slander Jem's name but the MOMENT her work as management was even slightly disparaged she's down for a whole album and contest at the drop of a hat.
