okay but WHYYY is no one talking about louis and daniel WHYYYYYYYYYY is no one talking about the greatest grandpa4grandpa relationship known to man and i don’t even mean romantically i mean in the most basic human platonic level their relationship is FASCINATING.
like louis SAUGHT HIM OUT after FIFTY YEARS he FOUND HIS BOY, this horrible infant who DID NOT UNDERSTAND A THING HE TOLD HIM, who saw his raw, decades-old pain and wanted in on it, AND HE GOES BACK FOR HIM BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE’S CHANGED. he can understand now. he can help him find the truth.
and like, they’re both absolutely terrified by each other because they’re both uniquely skilled at getting under each other’s skin and finding that truth (and also because… louis could just up and eat daniel anytime but shhhh…) and it’s because they UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. louis’s interviewing daniel as much as daniel’s interviewing him, just. pulling teeth from each other’s head, trying to pull out all the rot with such violence and cruelty (from both of them!! daniel is a cockwallop!!) but they want to help each other they CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER.

#selfie bee#good evening friends!! how are you doing! C:#I'm very very sleepy I got a new ikea office chair and I build it all myself#I think it went okay! I don't think I pulled the back screw tight enough and now the back is a bit loose#I can probably fix it but I can also ignore it for the next 18 years#thats how long the old chair held up!! in germany it could now drink vodka and drive a car!!#not at the same time that is illegal! not at the same time!! #slay the princess#voice of the cold#voice of the hero#stp fanart#stp#stp voices#some notes about their designs here#hero's eyes are the only part of his face visible as he's trustworthy and down to earth#he wears his emotions on his sleeve and is generally honest with the slayer instead of using words like the opportunist for example#his armour is not very practical At All#showing how he's been thrust with the slayer into a role that he's ultimately not ready for#his heart and vital organs are exposed showing vulnerability and kindness#and i thought a bascinet helmet was a cute design choice for a cute bird man#and for the cold#him being fluffy was actually inspired by @justcherryqwq's cold#i like him he's a soft little guy#but also shows how he's got such a thick barrier to feelings and emotion#and his whole design was a little bit inspired by the ghost of christmas yet to come from the muppets christmas carol specifically#little random#i'd also like to think that his eyes would be visible at the end of the fury chapter :)#ramble over!#blues art
